Foreign military/civilian satelite observation units watching ICEL note that a sudden, sharp military buildup is in progress. IDSF forces are sighted piling equipment and 'crumbled' tanks into dropships by high-definition satelite units; the density of IDF AF aircraft in the skies on patrol quadruples in under an hour; and all IDF N warships leave port immediately.

Although the 5kb military encryption codes are nigh on impossible to crack in this lifetime or the next fifty, sigint units would notice a sudden raise in the intensity and level of communications on the ground. The airwaves are 'hot'.

Something big is about to happen.

"Transmission activity has increased a hundredfold. Air and space mobilization, looks like ground forces are preparing as well."

"So. Ma-Tek is going to war."

"Either that or they want people to think they are, yes."

Ominously, various foreign listening posts detect an ICEL Battlegroup - identified as the 3 Stellar Battlegroup - making haste from Vilya Elenosto to Mars in a series of hurried Hops. From there, they are sighted entering the first ring of the Earth-Mars Highway - which appears to be operating at a far higher power level than normal.

Even more ominously, all civilian traffic is suspended, and the decellerative ring EM propulsive units reverse, pointing towards the Earth. Specifically, they move into a position so that, one hour hence, they will be aiming right down the throat of Imitora.

Intelligence would suggest that the Battlegroup is likely to exit the final ring at the highest velocity possible for ICEL warships - around 0.12c - which also, considering the vector, and the fact that all of the warships have already opened their gunports, rather alarmingly, indicates that the ICEL ships en route to Earth - due to arrive in just over an hour - are preparing for a high-velocity kinetic ortillery strike.
