Irrational Numbers

OOC: I'd like to start buying things and start international trade and all, but I figured that I could aciddently start God-modeing if I didn't figure out my budget. I have a Liberal Scandinavian Paradise, with a very low crime rate, a 5 million person population, and a 36% average annual income tax.
All of that was given to me on my main page, and then I made a guess that the average salary in my nation could be about 100,000 USD per year, before taxes, since it is a low-crime liberal paradise with a focus on science and technology. I also figure that each day could be a month in the game. Do these statistics sound fair?
And then my formula for my yearly budget projection is Pop. x average salary x percent of income tax. This actually calculates to a $45,600,000,000 USD yearly budget (before assuming growth). Again, does this seem fair?
