Port au Prince, Haiti: In order to promote the local economy and tourism, the nation of Haiti (a autonomous subsidiary of The Gulf States government) is opening up the new 10,000 seat Arivale Arena in downtown Port au Prince.

Arivale will be the home of the first international pro cockfighting league in the country, and probably the world.

At the end of the season, there will be a World Cup tournament fitting the best trainers and their birds against one another for glory and national pride.

Several of the top trainers and fightbirds in Latin America will be participating in this tournament. This pro league is open to all nations and competition, so sign up now.

Open Diplomatic Statement:

"The Kingdom of New York, New Jersey and her fellow states hearby denouce these games as cruel and barbaric practices and call on other nations in the international arena to join in the condemnation of such supposed games. Forcing animals to fight one another is against all laws of nature and quite frankly shows nothing but typical barbarism of lower peoples."

We were expecting your comments. Or at least something like that from someone.

In order to address concerns of international community, the chickens will be padded and be given with some joust type stick. Therefore, it's a mix between boxing and jousting. There will not be knives or sharp objects used to slice up, injure, torture, and kill.

Sound better?

In the state affairs department of the government people tried to figure the reply out...the general concensus was...how the heck do you get chickens to joust. The diplomatic lines went silent to the reply by the Gulf States. However the Kingdom decided to keep a close eye on the situation. It was definately worth watching for the time being. Seeing as how most rooster fighting could not be carried out unless a victor was clearly determinable..and that meant one had to be killed or injured to the point where being put down was the only viable option.

This isn't going to work out too well. I'm either going to get backlash or one confusing set of rules.

I however do have an idea which will come from this. Perhaps we can privatize this whole thing and make mafia/gang leaders corrupt this whole thing. Make a lot of scandals and crooked multi-million dollar gambling operations. RP more on that, with the horrific fighting as a background.

*I really should have thought this out better before starting the topic*
