Have a credited Football/Soccer referee that you would like to be eligible to ref World Cup 17 Qualifying Matches? Post them in this thread. The Top Refs will be selected by the hosts to take control of the World Cup Finals. You do not need to be entered in the World Cup to have a ref accepted for competition. Any nations not entered in the world cup are encouraged to submit their referees for approval, and are more than welcome to contribute to the competition when their ref's are selected for a match.


Please Include a style ranking such as [1:5]

1-9 for the first number meaning Strictness to the rules, 9 being Strict, 1 being lenient

1-9 for the second number meaning ability to call a match fairly / make the right calls based on their previous style - 9 being Fairest, 1 being Unfair/Bad Calls

David Solomon (6:9) - Referee for the last 3 Jeruselem Premier League finals. Folks say he is "Wise as Solomon and tough as David".

Sarzonian referee Tony Scalfano is often called the "hanging ref": He's an 8 in strictness but he's very fair, earning a 7 in that category.

Henry Tuck - [1:1] - Former streaker who evades the government quite efficiently. Streaked several major matches, including several WC finals. Did some work as a Sheriff, and had a brief stint as a ref. Won't call anything because he doesn't know what the heck he's doing. Tendency to get naked during a match.

Margaret: [4:6]

Allows play to take precedence over small infractions. Will not stand for tackles from behind - always a yellow card offense. Oddly, has a reputation for both being emminently fair and quite willing to accept "monetary donations".

Alan Belmore [1/1]: This guy is simply hopeless, despite having possibly the most common name on earth, he can't remember it. You'll be lucky if he remembers to stay on the pitch for the whole 90 minutes. Great for matches between Newbies like Commerce Heights and Spaam :P.

Adam Scorton [2/8]: Though this guy likes to see play go on, he is one of the fairest referees in the business. If he blows you up (please, no innuedos) then you have almost certainly committed a foul.

Nick Storington [9/3]: Nick, unlike Adam is one of those guys who believes in "Shoot and ask questions later". He will call you on almost anything, being right about 30% of the time. If your team have a reputation, you must pray that Nick won't be behind your match.
