OOC: This is basically the sign-up thread for an upcoming roleplay that I got the idea for last night. I think it was on IRC when someone said the word 'Blow', however in a different context. Instantly I got the idea of Cocaine, and from that stemmed the idea of this thread. I would think it pretty popular, because I have seen movies etc based on the Cocaine drug-market, and they have all been very interesting.
The scene is set in 1970's United States, when Cocaine had first been introduced onto the market. Similarly in this case, Cocaine would not yet have been introduced to the main market, however one wealthy family, the Chavez family would have recieved information on the upcoming product, which would have been manufactured and designed in places like Cuba and Columbia. In this roleplay to begin with, there will be One main family, which of course will be the Chavez family.
In the first section of the roleplay, it will be based upon the time when they had just been contacted by the Paladon's, which is a wealthy family down in Columbia. They have not yet recieved shipments or more information about the Cocaine drug; I have made this setting for now so that people can familiarise themselves with the members of the Chavez family. Each person will be taking one character only, these varying from the Gardener, to the Maid, to the Head of the House himself.
If you have any questions, then feel free to ask below, otherwise if your interested why dont you post what kind of role you would want in this roleplay. These roles include members of the Chavez family, and a select few who will be coming into contact with family members regularly, such as perhaps a Mexican Housemaid, or a Gardener. So its pretty simple, just post what kind of role you would like to fill, provide a reason why you think you should be chosen, and include maybe some samples of your character roleplay work. Obviously I wont be choosing nessasarily the best roleplayers for everyone needs to practise to get better, but I will filter out those who I would consider to be 'bad' also.
