The Arrivial of Pride of Hiigara(Future Space rp)

Pride of Hiigara

OOC - This is a futureistic rp. So when I say present day I mean whatever day and age of space rp we are in. Anyone that wants to rp in this can. I just don't want to confuse real time, with future rping. Thanks

Preludge:

It had been ten thousand years since the begining of the End Times. The Hiigarans showed themselves the galactic leaders, and military power in their home galaxy. They had unitied all the speices of their home, and bought on an age of peace, and prosparity. They spent those ten thousand years in peace.
But it all changed one day, a speacil day not only to the Hiigarans but the rest of the galaxy. To some it was a holy day, others a holliday, but all in all a day of celebration.
Before we left we found out that the attack was meant for that day. To show that a day of celebration in rememberance, can be a day of terror.
The aliens came from another galaxy. Where it is unsure, but one thing is for sure they did not know how to lose.
The attacked in the middle of the day on Hiigara. Their fleet was small, but devestating. Our small military was no match for them from the very begining. Some of the older battlecruisers were from the end of the War of the Cores, with the Vaygr. The outer-rim fleet was utterly destoryed. No survivors, no prisoners, no one. We learned of the begining of the attack from communications, but minutes later we lost all contact with a key outpost to the rest of the outer-rim.
Probes were sent out to find out what happened. When they arrived they found only wreckage, and sparse at that. Much of it looked like it have been scavenged. A probe was sent to the planet Itri the key communications relay to the inner-rim. The probe only got five minutes of readings but it was enough........ it was an invasion.
Within the six months the aliens broke our arms, in military power. They attacked key shipyard facilities, crippling our production.
By the end of the year the politians in the Hiigaran government, and the rest of the Alliance declared a state of war. They reactivated the Hiigaran Mothership, Pride of Hiigara, for military service. Years of peace had weakened us. The military leaders knew that the decision had been late, way late. It would take a lot of lives to hold what we still controled, and ten times that to even think of retaking the outer-rim.
Then the aliens broke our legs, in places to run. By the end of the fifth year they had encircled the inner-worlds.
We had rebuilt our shipyards, had recruted billions into the Starfleet. It began looking up. But they had too..... They had brought in colony ships from outside the galaxy, setup shipyards, and built a massive fleet. We began attacking key shipyards, and planets, even sacrificing a few in making them unihabitable. Few fleets survived, and they kept coming. We changed tactics, from hitting big targets to calvary raids, hitting the small targets, in attemp to wear them down.
By the end of the twenty-fifth year of war the toll was being felt. System police forces were being used for reserve fleet resources. The population was tired, so many had left for war that those who stayed home, were working days on end, hopeing that a little extra effort would help turn the tide.
The aliens broke our will. Systems began changing sides to spare their homes. People began people helping the aliens in overthrowing their governments in return for pay, and survival.
After thirty-two years of war, trillions of live had been lost, system after system was taken, we finally realised that we were going to lose. There was no hope at all for salvation. So we began planning an escape. It was estimated that we had seven months to prepare before they reached Hiigara. We told the other speices as to prepare for an escape as well. Two governors were placed aboard the Hiigara to help preserve a form of government. The rest of the Hiigaran government officals were spread accross the dreadnaughts, in case the Pride of Hiigara was destoryed. All artifacts, art, and all things of importance were put aboard the Pride of Hiigara, she would carry our peoples last hope for survival, and past.
The day came sooner three months early. We had seventy dreadnaughts, three-hundred battlecruisers, four-hundred-fifty carriers, two-hundred-seventy-five attack-carriers, over a thousand destoryers, and tens of thousands of freigates, corvettes, fighters, and bombers.
The aliens disrupted all hyperspace travel out of the system. So we fought it out. Thirteen days of non-stop battle waged on. Then finally we found a hole. With 90% of the fleet destoryed or crippled we only had one chance as they kept bringing in reinforcements. We made a run for it, and were ambushed. The Pride of Hiigara and a few ships engaged their hyperdrives, and made if out of the system.
Two weeks were spent avoiding hyperspace distortion mines, patrols, and major hyperspace routes. We finally made it out, after fighting off patrol after patrol.
We tried settleing in a rogue star cluster, but it was infested with the aliens. We tried settleing in others but no one wanted us, and what we could trade was used to repair our small taskforce. They would fight us if we tried to mine astroidf fields. So we continued our course to a younger galaxy where we would hopefully find a home, and rebuild.
-------------------------------------
Present day

We had spent over three generations traveling the void. My fleet, Grand Admiral Sabaal, heh Grand Admiral of what? The Pride of Hiigara, a severly damage dreadnaught named Venegance of Hiigara, two carriers Ta'nal, and Wa'lon, a destoryer, five freigates, four corvettes, forty-four fighters, and thirteen bombers. Not much of a fleet. I have the responciblilty of five million lives, crammed-packed into these ships. I don't know if the galaxy will be our destruction, or survival, but no one cares anymore we just we this trip to end. The Sabaal left his cabin, and headed to the bridge. "Captain Na'ban how long until real-space reversion?"

"Ten minutes sir."

"Finally, I hope someone here will have mercy on us, and at least let us repair, and resupply."

"I hope so to sir."

"Captain we are ready for real-space reversion", said the helmsmen.

"Bring us out of hyperspace, ensign. Leutanent, open up a channel on all frieqences. Admiral", the Captain saying giving the go ahead to begin the message.

Channel Opens

The Grand Admiral leans forward, "I am Grand Admiral Sabaal, of the Pride of Hiigara. We mean you no harm, and would like to request safe berthing to repair our ships and resupply. We have nothing to offer but technology, and information of our home. We ask this in a request in humblness, and await reply."

Channel closes

"What do we do now Admiral?", Na'ban asked.

"Now? Now we wait."

The Courier ship entered the system. The Black, dorsal fins undulating as the jets started to blast up. An archaic form of space travel, but it made for extremely fast travel. As the ship speeded up, it was blissfully unaware of the fleet in front of it....

Dark Eldar are xenophobic and evil. They enjoy torture and hate humans. But they will repair your ships and guide you, for a price.....

P.S:
Nice thread, you got off to a good start.....

It had been seven and a half hours since the message had been sent. Grand Admiral Sabaal had went to the mess hall for something to eat and to get off the bridge that he could find his way around with his eyes closed. The commlink on his hand chirped, "Go ahead", he said.

"Admiral, this is Captain Na'ban, we have a small ship on sensors. They just entered the system and at the moment seen unaware of our presence. What should I do?"

"Do nothing but track it. I will be there in five minutes. Tell the fighter patrols to keep their engins hot, and the on-deck fighters to prepare to launch also. Just incase", the Admiral replied.

OOC - The Hiigaran's aren't quite human I don't believe. I left it open to add one more post. I wasn't sure what to reply to your post. This is safe, LOL.

The small ship started to come around the gas giant planet, the crew analysing it's atmosphere. Suddenly klaxons wailed and the lighting turned to a dim red.

"Commandante, we have ships!"

"Mon-Keigh?"

"Nope, they appear to be sentient"

"Well, bring us towards those ships, we are unarmed, but power up the engines."

Message:
This is Commandante Silmesse Isandorne, Who are you?

The Admiral had just stepped off the lift to the bridge and the Captain turned towards him, "Sir, we seem to have startled them. They appear to be going to alert."

"Sir, incoming message," said the Leutanent.

"Put it through," said Sabaal.

Message:
This is Commandante Silmesse Isandorne, Who are you?

Nearby the Hiigaran vessel, a slip-stream event began to open. Within seconds, a massive warship, followed by twenty-two other vessels, most of them smaller, also exited from their own slip-points.

The first ship, about 1.4 Kilometers long, had assumed a position as the lead in a 'claw' formation, she was in the center, her escorts arcing forward, to create the image in a four fingered claw that strenched forward into space.

"This is the Thelasi Galadriel class command-ship, Fist of Justice. Unknown vessel, please identify yourself. Repeat this is the command-ship Fist of Justice, assigned to the Second Thelasi Battle-Fleet, please identify yourself."

On the bridge, the sensors officers continued scanning the area, watching for any suspicious activity, the tactical officer, an expirienced warrior, was annalysing the new vessel,

"Admiral, this ship appears to bear a resemblance to some ships from our protectorate, United Hiigarans."
"Hm? Interesting, what are the differences?"
"Well, this ship is more patch-work, and is definately not a new ship... I would say she has seen more battles that she should have"
The ships EA poped up, her hologram standing next to the captain,
"I concur sir, this is an older ship."
"Threat assesment?"
"I estimate that she, and her escorts, are not a threat to this fleet, or the empire, although it may be a good idea to keep track."
"Aye, just in case, sound General Quaters."
"Sir, yes Sir."

A massive vessel, that looked somewhat like a gothic cathedral more than a ship thundered out of the warp. The ship was blood red and bore symbols on rear dorsal fins of a drop of blood with wings. The Astartes battle barge "Pride of Baal" rumbled through real space after several weeks of travel through the daemon infested warp. Glad to be back in real time Brother Captain Maximillian Vindiseo of the Blood Angels 6th company stomped across the bridge, his heavy terminator armor making the deckplates shudder under his weight. He spoke to the astropath on the bridge in his deep, commanding voice. "Where are we psyker?" The astropath stared out into space through her 3rd eye blankly before responding, "We are currently 47,000 lightyears from Terra, Segementum Obscurous." The astropath frowned. "Why are we here?" Maximillian turned away from her and stomped back across the bridge, "All you need to know is that it is the will of the Emperor for us to be here, do your job and do not ask questions." A sensor servitor plugged into a bulkhead beeped. "Warning," its mechcanical voice grated, "Dark Eldar vessels in immediate proximity." Brother Captain Maximillian frowned. "More things we need." he thought. But he found himself wondering why the Emperor wanted him and his company out here. After all they were the 6th company. They were almost always in reserve. He banished the doubtful thoughts from his mind and again focused on the will of the Emperor. "Do not attack unless by my order." "Brother Captain Vindiseo." the servitor grated again. He turned to face it growing weary of having to spin back and forth to talk to these things. "A group of ships have been detected. Ancient Terran models. human life signs aboard. Ships are in poor condition." The captain closed his eyes for a moment. "Hail them."

"I am sorry for breaching you terriortory. We will depart as soon as possible." No sooner then the channel closed another fleet jumped in. Then they were hailed again.

"Sir new contacts are going to alert status, and they are hailing us", the ships tactical officer said.

"Tell the Venagence, Ta'nal, and Wa'lon to have their alert fighters at level five but don't launch. Tactical begin running your calculations. Not sure how we will get out of a fight, but you never know. Ok put on the first fleet."

We just receicived a communication that this is Alliance of Naggaroth space, from Commandante Silmesse Isandorne of the small courier ship. I am wanting to give a show of good faith to the Commandante, and leave as soon as possible. We are not desirering to make enemies, merely save our tails. I would be willing to talk more with you if wish, and am willing to explain what has happend, but I have another call coming in. If you will give me a moment. If you wish prepare to send coordanents for neutral space, and I will tell you more."

The channel with the Thelasi closed, and the channel with the second fleet opened.

"Thankyou Captain. I am Grand Admiral Sabaal of the Hiigaran Remenant Navy ship, Pride of Hiigara. We are not quiet human, but your scanners must not be able to tell the differance. The other two fleets have contacted us, the first is the Dark Elder I presume, and the second Thelasi. This is Alliance of Naggaroth space, from which I understand Commandante Silmesse Isandorne said of the small courier ship. The first fleet is the one that most worries me. They have went to alert status, and so have I but I doubt we have much of a chance. As I told your Thelasi counterpart I would be willing to speak with you more but I would rather not make the Dark Elder enemies at the moment. If your peoples are on good terms I will send the coordinates that the Thelasi send us that is in neutral space. I will contact you again in a moment. If not maybe we can set a time and location to speak later?"

The Sabaal sets back and lets out a sigh of relief. Then regains his composure, "Reopen the channel with the Thelasi", the Admiral said hopeing for good news.

Captain Maximillian frowned, on good terms with dark eldar indeed. They are one of many hated enemies of the Imperium. But a dark eldar fleet against a single Astartes battle barge? This is one fight that Captain Maximillian Vindiseo did not want to fight. He re-opened the channel to the Hiigaran vessel's. "Normally we have nothing to do with the Dark Eldar for they our are hated enemies, but at this time a conflict would not be adviseable on my part. We wish to speak on neutral ground. I can speak for my entire ship that no one will bring harm to you from my vessel. Transmist the coordinates to this neutral space if you wish to speak face to face." Maximillian turned away from the comm and stomped down the passageway to his quarters to remove his terminator armor, the armor was too big and bulky for diplomatic missions, plus it bristled with weaponry. No he would wear his normal armor, after about 20 minutes Maximillian stepped out of his quarters in his smaller armor. He was still incredibly tall and intimidating, but this suit of blood red armor with a gold eagle adorning his left shoulder, made him look much more noble, his long white cloak trailed behind him as he walked down the hallway and back onto the bridge of his vessel awaiting a reply.

IC: A small and hellish green pinprick of light appeared within reasonable distance of the Hiigaran fleet. Within seconds, that little green blot widened into a flat disc ten kilometers in diameter. Green light continued to pour from the hole in space time. It was a quasi-space portal, and only one known starfaring race in the universe used quasi-space drives. The Central Facehuggerian Navy.

Moments later, a massive vessel emerged from what was obviously a protal. The light closed just as quickly and quietly as it had began.

The hulking cobalt-blue form of the CFV Vengeance shined in the sunlight, it's energy refracting armor alive and shimmering with color. On the massive four and a half kilometer vessel, several extremely large and heavy turrets could be identified. It was obviously a ship of war. A well armed one at that.

On board that warship;

Petty Officer Kims grinned as he read off the sensor pings. He loved secret missions, they had the excitement of ten regular assignments, and discovering what was probably a new spacefaring race was certainly exciting. Especially when you factor in the AoN involvement. " Star Captain! Detecting unknown vessels by grid 117." He announced to his commanding officer pointedly.

Star Captain Telia Sadjrr looked at the sensor readouts of the as-yet unknown fleet. They certainly weren't AoN. And they were in really bad shape.

Her ship, the Vengeance had been deployed, to keep an eye on the AoN's expansion, and ensure that it did not threaten the ESUS or other starfaring peoples. The appearance of the Hiigaran vessels was a completely unknown variable that had not been planned for. Her ship had no diplomatic staff on board.

Sadjrr stood dumbstruck for a moment before regaining her composure and barking out orders. "Open a channel to the lead ship!"

The communications officer hastily complied. He certainly didn't want to have to unclog the chem-toilets if he screwed up. A moment later, he announced his success. "Channel open Star Captain!"

"This is Star Captain Telia Sadjrr of the Central Facehuggerian dreadnought CFV Vengeance. Please identify yourselves." She said in a cold voice that implied icewater flowing through her veins.

The entire command staff waited for a reply with bated breath.

OOC - Sorry, I was hopeing this would go a little faster then it did, I remember when a noobie rped this way(about a year and a half ago) that rp went alot faster. Sorry to say this rp will be coming to close. I will rp it the best I can with what I got. But I will be back in December on break from college(where I am going they limit internet big time, not that my major will kill all free time anyway). I hope that when I come back that things will go better. I will rp it so you guys can close out your rping with one more post.

Thelas I will be taking the initive and say you sent the coordinates to me, if you go to them its up to you. I will not rp more then that.
Also Steel I meant good terms with the Thelasi. Not the Dark Elder.

After a few more moments the Hiigaran fleet opened hyperspace windows, and jumped out.

OOC - Ok, I left it open so you guys can rp how you reacted. No one has to jump to the coordinates, and speak with the Hiigaran fleet. If you want to rp your end post that way. If not rp it that you don't go to the coordinates. This is pretty much opened ended to give you guys an choice to rp it without me godmoding. This way when I come back you can have some relations with me if you want, or not.
Again I am sorry to cut it short I think it could have been better with more time.

The Admiral sat at his desk in his quarters, what used to be his ready room right off the bridge, but with the large population all space had to be used or turned into bunkrooms.
With the colonization of a system in neutral space far from boarders of another civiliation, on the edge of the galaxy. The system was actually a large system, adnormal compared to most systems. It had thirteen planets, three habitable, but the second had very dangerious preditors, so was skipped for the moment. The fourth planet had a hostile enviroment, since the planetary year was about five and three quarter Earth years, so one the side had tempertures of hundred fifteen degrees Ferinheit at the poles, and the equatorarl temperture on the dark side was negative fifty degree ferinheit. Seventh was where they settled, it had sub-tropical weather good for farming, and had a few mountainious regions with some metals, and ores.
The ships had deploy ground forces, and at the moment half the engineers in the fleet were helping setup mining equipement, and colonial facilities. In about a week they would be able to start manufacturing supplies to repair the fleet. But it was estimated that it would be three months, before the fleet would be fully repaired.
There were plans for 4 orbital shipyards above what was now New Hiigara(the fifth planet), to be completed in six months. With its three moons rich with ores, space mining facilites would be used to start the fleet. Small colonial bases on the other two planets, are planned by the end of the year with mining colonies on the moons. The the fourth planet named, Tanis, was going to become the Navies main shipyard, that would one day have a sky full of shipyards. Also by the end of the year four other systems would become colonial systems, with populations of five-hundred-thuasand.
The new Hiigaran goverment had decided to keep the name Remanent of Hiigara, for our identy.
The ship only a few days ago had been bussiling with three million Hiigarans, but now it was back down to the 300,000 crew that the mothership used to operate during peace time. In three months he would have his quarters back. He walked out to the bridge, "How is work on the deployment of the satilliate?", Sabaal asked.

"Sir, we just finished systems checks. The satilliate is fully operational and is now establishing a network with the out satilliates the Wa'lon, and Ta'nal deployed. We can now detect if there are any ship movements in the sector. The long range transmitter is fully operational we can communicate within a four persec area", said the science officer.

"Good, keep me posted, and inform me when the Wa'lon and Ta'nal arrive."

OOC - I hope this is open-ended enough. Feel free to give the coordinates of this sector, information, supples, technology :) , and stuff. If you came to the coordinates I will have given you, the Admiral would have breifed you on our people, history, why we came here, and desires. You can rp the relations, wheather it ended up bad, good, or neutral. If its good you can rp it that there have been some trade relations openned or something. Thanks for the rping you, I had fun. Without any war, LOL!

OOC: Entirely understandable. Time is perhaps the most valuable commodity of all.

IC: "Star Captain! Recieving coordinates!" The comms officer yelled out to Sadjrr, raising his voice to try and out shout the noise of various people talking, equipment humming, et cetera.

"I see. Signal the CFV Watcher. Tell them to relieve us early. Then take us to the coordinates the Hiigarans sent. We may have a chance to gain an ally. Besides, helping them could certainly improve our sagging reputation in this sector of space." Telia replied, the wheels in her head turning as she began making command descisions.

"Aye! Activating quasi-space drive. Looks like we'll arrive in one standard day Captain." The nav-officer yelled back.

Within seconds, a green portal similar to the one the Vengeance used to enter the area appeared directly infront of their port bow. The ship quickly entered it and began moving towards the coordinates.

The Thelasi fleet reacted quickly, alarm klaxons blared in the twenty three ships of the Thelasi war-fleet. Soldiers grabbed rifles and weaponry, and gun-turrets began to unfold from the Thelasi warships, fighters launched from docking bays, and assualt Mecha began to raise from bays.

Over all channels the Thelasi battlefleet made their intenions clear.

"Dark Eldar vessel, this is the Thelasi Warship Fist of Justice. We strongly advise you to stand down if you do not, we will open fire. These vessles are under Thelasi Imperial protection, any attack against them will be considered an act against the Thelasi Empire and will result in your destrouction. "

The Thelasi admiral sent another message to the Hiigaran ships, "You are under Thelasi protection now. Hold possition and we will escort you to a destrination of your choice."

The admiral sat back, hoping that the Dark Eldar got the message. If all else failed he could call in more Thelasi fleets. But he wasn't concerned. The Fist of Justice was an amalgm of Thelasi, and, downgraded, Necrontyr technology. If this did turn into a battle, Admiral Isharnan was certain that his fleet could destroy the Dark Eldar.

Just in case, he messaged Thelasi High Command,

"Command, we are engadged in defending Hiigaran vessels, threatening actions taken by Dark Eldar, deterent message sent, operations at stage 3, high confidence of success, class 2 Dark Eldar Fleet, please advise."

Brother captain maximillian hailed the Thelasi vessel, "I am Brother Captain Vindiseo of the Blood Angels of the Adeptus Astartes, defenders of the Imperium of Man, be warned of the Dark eldar, they are murderer's, pirates, and liars. Do not trust them." He ended the transmission not caring for a answer if they had one. The engines of the Astartes battlebarge roared to life and he gave orders to have the broadsides ready, lance batteries charged and a firing solution made ready if he should need it. Next to the forces of chaos, the dark eldar were one of the enemies that Brother captain Maximillian hated the most. His ship headed towards the "neutral space" hoping this would not escalate into a bloody battle.
