Salutations from the Republic of Farquharson.
It is my prerogative to address the growing concern of security to the countries of the world. I have proposed the Military Research Funding Act to the UN, and it is my hope that it will be approved. I appeal to m fellow regional delegates to read it over and approve it if that should be within the best interest of the constituents of your respective regions.
The purposes of the Military Research Funding Act are as follows:
1. To establish an adequate defense budget in all UN nations, so that aggressors can be neutralized more quickly with less harm to the civilian populace.
2. To establish consistant, well funded military research programs within UN nations.
The reasons for these programs are as follows:
1. To develop viable non-lethal weaponry that can be used by military and police forces to maintain order and cause shock to enemy troops without nessesarily killing fellow humans.
2. To develop sattellite systems to monitor the behaviors of other countries and counter act missiles having been fired.
3. To provide a contant number of scientists and engineers to supplement national militaries in efficiently executing mission objectives.
4. To ensure that military and police equiptment is fully functional and effective, and that the vehicles bein used by the military (aircraft carriers, aircraft, etc.) are optimally equipped.
Sincerely,
Gary Elliot
UN Regional Delegate
