The Wraith-Prince

The actual inspiration was drawn from Telgorthrind's union with the Sacriface or more exactly, from the changes they had made and the Modifications to WraithLord and Guard designs. It was now however that a true innovation had been made, the basic WraithLord Model had been upgraded modified in a way the Kionash rarely acted.

Now came the testing of the design, it strode out into the chamber, one of the many Aspect Shrines dotted around the Craftworld, but with a few differances. For a start this was not where the Aspect Warriors trained, rather it was the place the Seers came to train, the Warlocks, for this was designed not to bring heavy firepower to bear, but rather, it brough Seers into a frame of metal and death. It brought the Departed Seers back.

Where on the Wraith-Lord Shoulder Mounted weapons rested, there was nothing, and in his arms it carried a Blade that cracked with energy. A Witch-Blade, but larger than any Blade a living person could carry. In many ways what was hoped was that the Wraith-Prince might prove able to act as the center for other Wraith Classes, allowing a truely fearsome sight. That was yet to be discovered for now the basics would be tested, would it truely bring the power of a Warlock to the forces of the dead?

As with all such projects their where many bugs to be solved, although initially the frame used was a simple modification of the Wraith-Lord it proved to be in error. Simply put the Wraiths where never designed to house Seer souls. The Channeling of Immaterium energies was far to difficult for such a simple build.

Many more months of work lay ahead of the team, runes where designed from the ground up, and carved into the frame, attempting to channel more energy through the frames. The Wraithbone was further enhanced with Dream-Stones, this served the dual function of enhancing the Warp manipulating abilities of the Wraith-Prince class, and adding a further layer of protection to the Soul encased within.

Still it was not quite enough, but it was heading in the right direction and the Council was confident that it would work, it would just take more time.

Eventually the report was handed to the Council, while it would be a far more more complicated job than previously thought, they had solved the problems, and where ready to begin full scale production...

The Council was pleased over all and agreed to an initial run of Seventy Five Active Shells and a further Twenty Five reserves. Seemingly a small amount, but they where confident that it would be enough to lead the Wraith Forces into Battle, and they had a potential site in mind.
