Today Prime Minister Zeph announced that the Zephiran Government has ordered the production of 170,000 litres of Agent Orange.
Agent Orange is a Herbicide that obliterates all forms of plant life that it comes in contact with. It contains a dangerously high amount of Dioxin, which is one of the most dangerous checmicals known to science. When asked about the intentions the Prime Minister has for this Herbicide, the Prime Minister responded only with "Defense.", which has caused some panic in nations which are currently on bad terms with the USSR. The Prime Minister added that he has no intent on ever giving the order to use the chemical. Except in the event of a dire emergency.
Agent Orange is infamous for making entire cities incabable of supporting healthy life. All plants and water in the affected area are contaminated with dangerous levels of Dioxin, which results in anything consumed from the infected land having dire effects on the humans who live there. The most common afflictions are: Extreme birth defects, cancer, and death.
