The Grand Kingdom of Aerion has launched its first space station, piecemail, into Low Earth Orbit. The space station has an research laboratory onboard, and robotic facilities. After months of secret research, several ships launched from bases across Aerion to carry the space station into orbit where robotic construction drones assembled it. This project was supervised by the Aerion Space Agency <ASA>, the Ministry of Defence, and the Babel Aerospace Corporation. It is anticipated this station will be the launching point for Aerion space operations. Plans are in the works for construction of a diplomatic ship, and possibly preparations for construction of the first true Aerion space ship. The station, dubbed the "Royal Aerion Space Station <RASS>" is intended to be a symbol of pride for the Aerion people. It was reported His Majesty King Wasterin X is very pleased.

Official Statement by the Taraskovyan Department of Foreign Affairs.

The Ruling Council of the Taraskovyan Federation extends its sincere congratulations to the Sisgardian neighbour of Aerion. The step that the Grand Kingdom of Aerion has done will most surely open great possibilities in front of the kingdom and open it up to the interstellar community.

The first crew is reportedly set onto the space station, the crew becoming national heros very quickly. They have all made the statement, "We do this for His Majesty our King, and the Great Kingdom of Aerion."

Further expansions have been launched into space, and are being assembled near the space station.

Congratulations, and be sure to watch out for space junk; there's enough of it up there that, well, let's just say that Earth is the newest planet in the solar system to have visible debris rings.

Announcement concerning Kanuckistan's transmission which raised some eyebrows in the Aerion community:

The ASA (Aerion Space Agency) announced that it had chosen a safe location for the space station, despite space debris, and that special technology onboard the station would protect its crew from such dangers.
