Hello, I am Kathren Movan of the Colerica Imperial News network. We're currently carrying many major news stories for our listeners tonight, all of which are tied to the raging Colerican Civil War. A pressing question amongst certain groups has been whether or not the United Empire of Colerica, and our beloved Emperor, Maderic Thra, should reinstate elections in the government. Imperial elections, which were held every ten years, were outlawed by Emperor Maderic Thra shortly after he ascended the throne in 1994.

Peerless Sharpe, an outspoken member in the United Empire's gov't, has been a major voice pushing for the reinstatement of Imperial Elections. Sharpe states that the Confederate States of New Colerica was formed primarily because of the lack of people's choice for their government. Thusly, CIN has issued a poll for its viewers and listeners, both domsetic and foreign. Should the United Empire of Colerica reinstate Imperial Elections?

Absolutely. While I believe the Emperor ought to retain his crown and certain powers, an elected official would most likely represent the needs of the people, and communicate these needs effectively to those in charge.
