The National Assembly of People's Power passed a resolution calling for the
country to join the Arab Leauge 127-73 today. The Prime Minister explained
the vote, saying the Aleutian people wanted to show their solidarity for the
civil rights of the Free Land of the Gaza Strip, as well as spread the benifits
of Democratic Socialism to other regions. In joining the Arab League, the
Aleutian Islands leave THE FRONT AGAINST GUNS AND ROSES. In related
news, the country has also decided to draft resolution calling for a new
national flag after recent flag burning protests. Among the proposed designs
is a "colonial style flag" with the Union Jack at the upper right with the Red
Star of Socialism on a white charge.
