About 4.5 kilometers long, with some dimension of height and depth, the B.B. King class dreadnaught is meant to give the RGF some...well...something.
Its very fast, yet very well armored (although turning it at speed is something else entirely). The class is powered by a heavy-duty ion drive, which is a new form of propulsion to the RGF and has proven very successful in the Ruben Gonzales class cruiser.
The B.B. King is pretty well armed, with lots of PD mounts, ion cannons, and several antimatter cannons, as well as torpedo bays. The ship can carry something like 300 drones, as well as 10 corvettes, three resourcers, and two smallish frigates. It can build and maintain frigate-sized ships and parts of destroyer-sized ships.
The class is crewed by 105 people. The RGF will probably build ten or so, more or less.
