The captian sat in the CO's chair looking over ship reports that a crewmen brought him the operations officer mean wile was scanning the local star sytems not a verry exciteing job to him morep ian stakeing than exiteing
He started lazly pressing buttouns not much else to do other than that .. the tactical officer mean wile was tweaking up the phaser arrays .and torpedo tubes lazly pressing buttouns . he sighed as he tweaked the last array / emitter in the back round the crew was going about there bussines 2 crew memebrs we disscusing old times at the acadmy and being on the odessy togther the engieers were still going over the refits of the odessy mean wile woking almost non stop on panles conduits and other things the chife engieer and the asstaint engieer were dissucsing matters on the new warp core witch was still a bit buggy . the enigeers fixed most of the inial bugs at terra prime Utopia ship yards the rest was up to the engieering team on the odessy .. mean wile in six bay the doctor was getting hi mself ready for any thing haveing 2 holo doctors to assist him also an EMH and an LMHthey were all working on getting sick bay ready to any thing possible even an infection of tribbles no doubt . back on the brige the officers were still lazly goign about there bussines the operations officer detected some strage readings coeming from the planets and star of the uphraites sytem .. he htought nothing of it but told the captian "Siri m getting weird readings from the uphraites sytem i odnt think its any thing but its really odd " the captian woke up from a smi slumber and said " keep an eye on it "... the ops officer responded with a "yes sir " the readings were getting strager and strager mean wile and enrgy build up was happing in the sytem like some new device was being used . the operations officer looked at his readins and said "now theres an engry spike !" The cpaitan was now more confused than ever "how is that possible is it just solar activty ?" Operaitons officer repsonded "not with the ammount of enrgy this thing is emitting" the buiuld up contuied .
then the operations officer noticed a massive rleses fro mall the planets and star of the upharites sytem there was a massive explostion stellar radation and debries went out in all directions there was massive radation bulding up in the entier sector ...... the operations officer said "sir we have to get out of here now .... radation in this sector is in creasing enroumously the sytem jut exploded all of it just went up.... the captian ponderd for a moment then said "helm set a crouse for sb 112 maxuim warp get us oout of here!" the helms officer swiftly replyied yes sir and imdealty pressed a few buttouns the odessy then warped out as fast as it could arriveing a few short hours later at star base 112
the odessy docked at the star base the captian and ops officer met with admrial heys they started to disscus the incident the captian was speaking " I dont know what happend sir but according to my ops officer the entier sytem just went up ecxploded " hays said " how is that possible what or who could do some thing like that ." the ops officer rpelyed "well one thigns clear who or what ever did that is a threat to use all..there were large ammouhnts of hevay em baned radation and engry being emitted from what ever or who ever did that ..." the captian then said " Well i think we should go back in to the sector... but with the radation we'll need to install back up metaphasic sheild emiters...." the admiral said " its done ... i want you to go in there investgate what the hell happend it could be a threat to us all report back to this sb if a slight hint of any thing foul or supichous hppens " the captin replyed "yes sir" he walked back with his ops officer to the odessy once again
