I rant to the members of the UN about their silliness.
Do I not berate them for presuming to tell UN member states what to do..!
But....
What right have I to tell them what to do with their property (the concept and practice of their UN)..!?
Therefore....
I propose a "Grand Meeting Place", owned by no one, where we may speak freely and discuss how to make "the bad guys" not want to be so bad.
This Great Meeting Place will be known as the "Nations Unbowed". [[ the "U" in NU is actually a placeholder for any word that means, essentially, "THAT DO NOT SUBMIT" ]]
We are dedicated to the concept that NO NATION SHALL BOW TO ANOTHER NATION.
All nations are equal on the world stage as unique entities, just as adult human beings are within human populations.
Nations are free to do whatever is in their best interest.
If a nation decides the genocide of one of it's neighboring nations is warranted, it is free to do so.
If other nations decide that that genocidal nation should be obliterated, they are free to do so.
If nations don't want things like that happening, then they are free to devise mechanisms that would dampen such happenings.
But,... in all cases,.. NO EXTRA-NATIONAL GOVERNMENT would be allowed to exist as a definable thing.
We are a world of nations, as we define ourselves. There is no organisation greater, other than that which preceeded all things. (Whatever that means.)
Within the NU, you may tell your stories, make your accusations, point and laugh at those who say one thing and do another, make alliances to encourage good behavior, and have a place to do it which will not demand that you surrender your culture and nationality.
There shall be a record of "resolutions", of "agreed upon actions" signed by those who agree with them, so that we may know who does what they say, and those who do not.
All resolutions are simply statements of intent, and carry no weight as "law" whatsoever.
Let the evolution of the NU commence...
