August 19th, 2004- Kochbald divided into states, changes name to "United Socialist States of Kochbald"

August 12th 2004- Assasination attempt on Huss by the guerilla tribe Lhami.
August 18th 2004- Lhami takes Huss's daughter hostage.
August 18th 2004- Lhami warns Huss to step down, and allow someone from Lhami party to be PM.
Augitst 19th 2004- Lord Margoth challenges Lhami group, and orders all Pylons to activate protective mode.
August 19th 2004- Convienent store in the City of Talabeim, explodes. Unknown if connected to Lhami.

2094- July: A Colony Ship leaves Earth for the Jovian Moons. On board are Baad Skeelzot, his younger brother Ianos, and 4,999,998 of their followers. Shortly after the overcrowded ship passed Luna (and left Earth's gravity well), someone sat on the Hyperjump button. The impromptu jump launched the five million colonists tumbling into Hyperspace.
2095- Feburary 29th: The Skeelzanian Transport emerges from hyperspace after nearly 7 real-time months of travel. For the colonists, approximately two standard days passed in-jump.
Arriving at the Spoot System, far out in the Gamma Quadrant, Baad Skeelzot began searching for a home for his people. They came upon the desert Planet Solomon, roughly three times the size of Earth with a correspondingly high gravity. At this time, Solomon was home to a burgeoning gnome population, estimated at 50 million individuals. Baad Skeelzot gave them five minutes to pack their bags and find a new planet. As the gnomes lacked space-ships of any kind, this proved difficult, forcing Baad to give the order to fire.
What followed, later called The Conquest of Solomon, was two weeks of utter butchery against the gnomish population. Advanced Skeelzanian tactics (aim at a large group and hold the trigger) decimated the primitive gnomish forces. It seemed the race was doomed when a 5 million-strong mob of gnomes discovered the parked Skeelzanian transport, with its keys in the ignition. Piling onto the ship, the Gnomes departed the system, leaving Solomon to the Skeelzanians. Baad Skeelzot declares himeslf Grand Prince, founding the Principlaity of Skeelzania.
2095- May: Skeelzania joins the New Aranamor Alliance, along with the Dominion of Arenumberg, the Divine Empire of Bandalok, New Xanthal, and several others. While Bandalok was founded by the gnomes ejected from Solomon, no hostilities arise between them and Skeelzania at this time.
2095- November: The 26,000 strong Nazi Party, formerly strong supporters of the Grand Prince, stage a protest at the Skeelzot City Stadium against the new Civil Rights laws enacted. Baad Skeelzot, though himself a Monarchofascist, orders the Army and FS to eliminate the protestors. Barricades are put up around the stadium, which was then bombed with chemical agents. As the dazed crowds exited the stadium, they entered the killzones of Army machine gunners. By the end of the day, the bulk of the Party was eliminated.
2097: Skeelzania’s first warships, the Draco class corvettes, are constructed at CorpSacian shipyards and delivered to the capital-world of Solomon. Later that year, the first Wyrm corvettes came off the stocks at Solomon Shipyards. A stripped-down variant of the Draco, they were easier and cheaper to produce and served as the principle warship until mass-production of their heavier cousins could begin.
2098: The Communist Empire of Xanthal pays an unexpected visit on their wayward cousins, New Xanthal. In the process, they violate New Aranamor Space. Skeelzania calls for military action against the improbably-more powerful Xanthal, but Arenumberg negotiates a peace treaty and then Alliance with the foreign power.
2108: New Xanthal deports its lower classes to their own continent, to give the upper classes more elbow-room. Skeelzania is the first nation to support the decision, while the Empire of Kecha denounces New Xanthal and blockades their planet Relafia IV. Xanthal joins Skeelzania in protest of Kecha’s aggression, and a “blockade run” is initiated. Unsurprisingly, a full-blown battle takes place, resulting in the utter defeat of the Kechan blockading force. While Xanthal and Kecha nearly go to war over the incident, Skeelzania declines to become further involved, going on to admonish other Alliance partners for not showing some backbone.
2109: In celebration of the Battle of Relafia, a new flag is unveiled. The red-on-black banner of Skeelzania soon adorns many Principality ships and buildings.
2138: Master Waff, an ultra-conservative Bandalok Master (similar to a Lord), orchestrates the theft of a Bandalok war fleet. Waff’s forces cross the Skeelzanian frontier unnoticed (despite the accidental destruction of a picket ship in the process) and attack the mining/military outpost of Azuk II in the Spoot System. Renegade forces overrun the principle city in a matter of hours, forcing the FS defenders underground. A pitched battle is fought in space as well, with two Draco corvettes, a single Fenrir, and a partially-dismantled Wyrm holding off the enemy fleet. Although all of these ships were eventually destroyed or forced to withdraw, they bought valuable time, allowing reinforcements to arrive from Solomon and drive off the invaders. Notably, the Wyrm self-destructed in spacedock, causing the orbital base Sikorsky to plummet towards Azuk II, conveniently landing on the captured city.
2146: With the failure of the picket ships during the Bandalok Incursion of 2138, Navy Brass makes the decision to withdraw from the Frontier. This gives rise to the pirate fleets and nations, most infamously that of Far Tortuga. These pirate states continue to prey on shipping to this day, although it is rumored that some are protected by the Skeelzanian Navy in return for their services and promises not to attack Principality shipping.
2154: Grand Prince Baad Skeelzot, First of His Name, dies at the age of 101. His son Dmitri is crowned Grand Prince, with Ianos Skeelzot serving as Grand Admiral and making no claim to the throne.
2173: Prince Dmitri launches “Project M”, a massive ship building and design program that gives rise to several new ship classes, fighters, and technologies.
2182: A series of border clashes with the Federal Union occur, bringing Skeelzania to the brink of war. Although Skeelzanian ships were better designed, crewed, armed and possessing superior tactics, they were outnumbered by FU forces. However, war was once again avoided by diplomacy on the part of Arenumberg.
2194: During Royalty Day/Centennial celebrations, an Elf assassin kills Ianos Skeelzot in a botched attempt on Dmitri's life. Following a street-execution of the assassin and his family, massive demonstrations occur in the Elf quarter, which are met with armed resistance. After several days of fighting (including the detonation of a nuclear device), casualties are put at 2000 Skeelzanians and 1 million elves.
2220: Grand Prince Dmitri I grants a Royal Charter to Skeelzanian Combine Advanced Resource Refiners, or SCARR, allowing them to process the resources of the Gamma Quadrant in any way they see fit.
2225: Skeelzania withdraws from the New Aranamor Alliance, and joins the Extra-Solar Union of Systems (ESUS).
2230s and 40s: Skeelzanian ship designs advance by leaps and bounds. Beginning with the Ahzi Dahaki class, heavy cruisers and battlecruisers begin to replace corvettes as the mainstay Skeelzanian warship. Fusion engines are developed during this period on advice from the Sskiss.

In the beginning, our nation's island was indescribable,.. because no one had seen it yet.
Then the first inhabitant washed up on the northern shore.
Nothing is known about this person. Not where they came from nor even whether it was a man or a woman.
Then the second inhabitant washed up on the northern shore.
Once again, nothing is known of anything particular about this person.
But,.. between the two of them, there was one man and one woman, and the family of the nation of Iakeokeo grew to inhabit all the regions of our island.
Apparently, some incest was involved, but we like to gloss over that little detail...
Our guiding principle, given to us by the gods (probably), is the rule of point and laugh.
When a person makes a silly rule (or action, or joke. or anything that CAN BE silly) we are obliged to point at that person and laugh at them.
The effect of this gods given (probably) principle is profound within our culture,.. in fact, some say, like me for example, that it IS our culture.
Our national government, as well as all other internal organisations, have been best described (by an itinerant missionary who visited shortly and left is utter disgust) as a "big polynesian family's thanksgiving day dinner with WAY too much really good beer".
When we discovered that there were other nations in the world, we sought them out as more people to learn from and have talk with.
But we quickly discovered that they seemed obsessed with making any nation that they "allowed to interact with them" give up their nationality and submit to rules that they do not agree with.
This made us sad,.. as we only wished to talk and help resolve how to make the world a harder place to be bad in,.. but they were set in their ways, and would not consider us.

Oh,.. also,.. in recent history, we have been given large unsolicited quantities of BEER (and REALLY GOOD BEER TOO!!) and food from the very nice people of the nations of "Wolf America" and "Communist Rule",.. and have been "invaded" by some goofy tourists from "New Kyoto City", who left their flag half buried on our eastern beach.

1996 -
The War of Pinzea takes place when 19 different nations claim they own the islands.
1998 -
The War ends.
The Pinzean Revolution begins where corporate powers and political figures support rebel independant groups and kill 100,000 armed forces of the governing territory.
1999 -
The Region of Pinzea claims 3 small islands and declares semi-independance
2000 -
The City of Cantuc is rebuilt on Shni Island.
2001 -
The Race track of Formula One relocates to Pinzea's major city of Cantuc.
2002 -
Population booms with gowth of 2 million people in 5 years.
Total Population: 5 million
2003 -
Corporate Powers fund rebel groups who fight against owning governments.
2004 -
Independance is declared.
The Empire of Pinzea is established.

Ok, I'll stop now....

1,100-1,500-During this medieval period, a large group of the people. Their civillizations name was lost from memory or was expunged. In this time frame, a decent sized meteor hurtled twoard the earth. This was unfortunatley made of warpstone. When it impacted, millions died, many from the impact, some from the effects from warpstone. As it happened, they were celevrating one of the local creatures, the rat, for bringing the black plague on the other nations. The mutating warpstone used all this DNA in the unfortunate people, and twisted them into the foul rat-men around today. A few decades, they started to rebuild, useing the warpstone in weapons, magic, and developed (very)primitive engines. The CC(catholic church) was witchburning at the time, and the deformed humans weren't spared either. Every where they were killed, until driven underground, where they and their warpstone staved off the vengful humans.
1,501-1,800
A small sect of the CC still remained in power, culling the skaven number. Limiting the rat-mens power. Still, some managed to get out the net by makeing tunnels, with decades ro develope, almost the entire world is honeycombed with these labrynths(spelling). But also, some scouts returned, and brought back new inventions and ideas. Still useing their curse, they powered many devices with warpstone. Later on, they got a hold of black powder weaponry. Almost instantley, varients utilizing the glowing stones developed, tested in the tunnels. But still the sect had more power, men, and guns.....but not for long.
1,801-1950
The massive wars springing up distracted the religous group, and also delivered more powerful and numerous weapons to the skaven. With numbers growing, they remained underground, sacrificing many to keep the illisoun of weakness.
WW1
This brought the new tanks, and the skaven races first attacks on other countries. In the massive trench works, many major assaullts were succesful from skaven raids moments before, causing casualties, horror from the infiltration and there new foes appearence, and general chaos. Prisoners after such attacks would go on describing "Rats 5 feet tall with guns" most of these were laughed at, treated with physco-controlling drugs, or caused more panic. Both sides were equally hit, but the axis recieved more, as they were deemed weaker, more easier to attack and disrupt. In all this carnage, a large force of skaven finally all but wiped out the CC sect that guarded the abhuman race.
WW2
With the destruction of their reapers, the skaven grew more, and made more surface visits. This time, the skaven used some politics. They threw their lot in with hitler, for the promise of technology. Some ramblings of his about "rat-men" mearley made him seem more insane, this suited the skaven. Later on, the skaven sent messages to the allies, strategic positions, sometimes blowing up depots, fuel centers, fortifications, or even columns of nazi troops. For what? For more technology and to push hitler to further levels, which caused him to invest in secret projects, which caused a more expansion in the skaven technology field. Unfortunatley, the 3rd armored corpse stumbled upon a skaven warren, this was home to facsits(thus haveing nazi symbols) and a mustering army, it contained most of the skaven poulation, as the council decided to launch strikes all along allied lines. But the allies bombed and called down artillery strikes, thus collapsing(and getting rid of evidence of the) skaven warren and occupants. This set back, while unfortunate, wasn't a deathblow.
1951-present
I'll probably do this later, along with future tech...
(How is this, yes WW1+2 have been edited, but just as a story, is it any good?)
