Since gaining its independance from Raysia, (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=347111) Lumin has continued to expand and explore their land. The newfound nation, claiming a 100,000 square mile of northern hemisphere mostly-forest land, has chosen to preserve the natural beauty of the land as much as possible while still building their cities. For now, most housing is suburban-style, with houses nestled in heavily forested areas; while the beginnings of farmland reserves all the farmable land.

There are the beginnings of several cities scattered around the land, with sky scrapers rising above the canopies and treetops of the forests. Many of the larger buildings resemble ancient architecture and color, trying to establish the natural beatury and blend of the ancient world.

There are two major rivers flowing through this landlocked nation, which allow for marine traffic etc, and there is a major civillian airport carved perfectly into the forest with a rather unusual look of trees bordering the runways, as well as several military airstrips scattered about Lumin's territory.

But because of the unusual landscape of Lumin, its military is quite unique. It's airforce consists of mostly VTOLs and Helicopters, which deploy from many well-concealed airbases in the jungle. Naval Bases are fairly standard, but with a lot more swamp-craft similar to the equipment used in the vietnam era, with a slightly modern touch. The ground forces are also fairly normal, with a standing active army of 160,000 (10,000 of which is part of the Ali'staan Accord's RDF), but they are currently developing more and more vehicles capable of maneuvering in the forest landscape without damaging it (such as lightweight tanks, and armed ATVs and dirt bikes.)

A lot of Lumin's military equipment will remain unique, and will not be sold, as they like to keep isolated and self sustaining.

(Technical data on military equipment will come overtime)

Computers: Advanced Autopilot to automatically land the plane on a carrier or runway in case the pilot gets knocked out or any other emergency like that, may be engaged by C&C or a wingman. The HUD is used in tandem with the "VisorScreens," which is a display projected onto the Visor of the Pilot's helmet, and uses a sort of compass in tandem with the computer that can allow him to see highlighted targets in any direction, even what used to be a blind spot beneath him or behind him. The 'VisorScreen' does not display the Altitude, pitch, and Speed like the HUD, as most pilots found this very confusing. The VisorScreen can be used to fire missiles in any direction.
