Rob stood up on the poduim clearing his dry thought and dusting off his suit he started in a deep yet clam voice " Today i jsut got news that one of our ships the Odessy was destoryed .... a small temporal battle squad discoverd that a nation known as Siesatia used temporal wepdons on the ship we also discoverd from the logs of a stealth fighter they dispatched a few hours before the incident they rescude personell from a wounded ship of the siesatiaians Yet they turned around and attacked a vessal that helped there crew the odessy appreard to try to communcate but to no avail they just ruthelessly killed most of the crew and destoyed the ship i herer by call for a declration of war agasint these Rutheless dis honorble dogs ! the fleet began tobrodcast warings of a battle in the area and for no ships to move in to the designated battle zone .

As the fleet blared out this warning several dozens ships left Martian orbit and began moving lazily in the general direction of the action. Ships with names like Vulture, Carrion Bird, Crow, and of course Scavenger. There were also several more... interesting names as befit ships crewed by sentients of this... notable profession. Such as the Filthy Whore Three.

Next to the relatively uniform fleet they approached they were a motley lot with ships of undefinable parentage and in all likelyhood doubtful ownership. Some were old merchant hulls with grappling arms and electro-adhesive pads welded directly to the hull plating while others were purpose built by corporations and modified for faster operations. There were even a couple old SDF recovery cruisers - stripped of weapons they had been sold as surplus and weapons had immediately been re-added by their new owners.

Aboard the Filthy Whore Three the owner, or 'Captain' as he liked to be called, lounged in his command chair while his crew entertained themselves in various ways. Some were watching explicit channels from Knootoss, while others were dubiously entertaining themselves by losing money on the skink-dogs. In all reality the captain was the only one doing any work, if one counted calculating the value of the ships in the other fleet as work.

The captain stabbed his pudgy finger onto his small screen, accidentally zooming in on the very ship he wanted.

The Armed Republic of Crazed Marines is outraged that TFU would pick on somebody who is less than a tenth of its size, therefore CM is renewing its declaration of war against TFU and will support Siesatia to the death.

Peoples of the universe, I send this message in the hope of clearing the situation a little so that the actions of the Fedral Union are better understood and to avoid, hopefully, the horrible war that is coming.

First, let me explain the situation, as I understand it.


Some incident happened a short period ago between vessals from the Fedral Union and Siesatia in which the Fedral Union assisted a vessal on the run... the circumstances are uncertain, but it's clear that their intention was good, something some people may not expect from the Fedral Union.

However, due to the measures taken in order to help this vessal, ships were distroyed and without any attempts at commication Siesatia vessals boarded the Fedral Unions vessal and killed many crew members.

This incident alone is enough for the Fedral Union to want to seek retibrution, however it seems they have failed to communicate their situation.

This is not a matter of on nation bullying the other, it would seem that from logs recoved that the Fedral Union are the victims here.


We are not saying that this course of action is correct, but it's clear that the nation of Siesatia moved first and that they are not innocent in this.

Due to the large amount of confusion and hatred in the air I would like to see all factions cease their actions and call of their attack so we my resovle this peacefully... clearly this is a communication problem which must be solved now.

OOC- Me and TFU RPed that, but discussed what I would do in AIM in the hopes of starting a better RP, like this one, even though I did not have in mind, a full scale invasion, we wanted to have a temporal thing, but that seems to have gone awray. Another example of an RP that failed its main intent. We were planning to have to work together to defeat an enemy that was going to change the timeline. I was not planning to have a boarding Party RP, but TFU insisted. Also, if you look closer, my boarding parties used NONLETHAL tactics, like flash bang grenades, the purpouse of boarding was to bring their officers to court for crimes against Siesatia, the rest of the crew would only have been following orders, and would have been brought back to their homeworld. Also, It was not TFU who was baited, but I, because if you noticed, I DID NOT WANT THIS WAR!! The pourpose of the RP was for our two nations to meet, and have a bit of a confrontation, the entire thing was a mistake, but how were the Siesatian Carrier Freestar supposed to know that? It would have been a godmodd to know what happined when they werent there, now wouldnt it?

About 95600 Km away ... The capitn of TAS Xsavier . stood up and gave the order to fire arc tatical missles ... 15 ships opend up and fired volyl after volly after voly of hunderds of tatical missles at the enmmy fleet they contuily fired missles the now thousands of missles began ziping over homeign in on evry enmmy ship it could see the missles were incomeing from all sides.

As the enemy missiles slammed home, the Atlantian shields were of no use, the missiles passing straight through them. The Dannelandian shields took a pounding from the missiles missed by the defensive missiles, but they still held, however barely.
The commanders grinned.
"Do they know nothing of tactics? Call in the third fleet, we've got some target practice to do..."

However, it's simple math. You fire (rough guess here) fifteen thousand missiles. However, there are about that many enemy ships (assuming again JJR's ships are already here). Even behind you, I'd assume you'd be able to see them and would therefore be shooting at them. That means you're distributing fifteen thousand missiles more or less equally among ten thousand ships. Ergo, one or two missiles per ship, which is not much at all, and especially not to my DSA's which are designed for two-against-two-hundred standoffs like this, and have incredibly heavy missile defences as a result.

But I guess I made alot of assumptions, I've read alot in an attempt to keep up and to be honest, given the information I got on MSN I was on the assumption that Rob didn't ask for an attack on his own ship... in which case it's the otherway around and a war is a little unfair to impose on someone if they asked for an attack OOC and then use it to start a war you didn't want.

IC it's not impossibe for someone to know the basics of what happened as I'm sure logs can be retrieved from the incident and concessions can be made. But meh... nevermind I guess Rob wants this and if he does then you can all discount my post.

Thanks for the recent act of imperialism, TFU. My old sources were beginning to get rather stale. I wonder if I can work this into the peace talks? Hmm...

Oh, and Isles of Wohlstand, your tactics are remarkably similar to mine. Great minds think alike, eh? At any rate, I do find it hard to believe you could defeat the fleets of all the nations assembled here. I don't suppose you have a link to your fleet, so I could see whether that was just IC propaganda, or if you actually are a major threat to everyone?

The Al-Imvad fleet appeared behind TFU's fleet, though well outside effective energy weapon range. The capital ships began to manuever into good positions from which to bombard the opposing fleet. Meanwhile, some of the Pike, Northern, and Pirahna Class frigates moved to sortie with TFU vessels. FPF, and RSD-1, 2 &2m fighters were launched from the carriers and battlecruisers.
A second group was dispatched, containing 10 Mule Class Destroyers, 10 Angels, 2 Invincibles and 4 Missionaries. These also were accompanied by frigates and support vessels.

OOC and when I say sortie, I mean hit and runs against your weaker vessels.
