A small OOC announcement from the Holy Vatican See—

To friends regularly playing story lines with HVS, we apologize for being effectively out of action for nearly two weeks. One of our regular players who most frequently puts up the posts and chats online had a mild cardiac incident on the morning of August 5th.

He is out of the hospital and has been in a recovery facility for the last week, and is expected to return home during the next week. Those who share a household with him have naturally been away from many recreational activities assisting in care and filling in duties.

Some of our more ‘remote’ members will be looking to take up the story lines where several other players are involved; we’ll try to maintain continuity.

Thank you very much for your patience. Those who believe in the power of prayer, of course your prayers will be appreciated!

How appalling. I hope your brother has a speedy recovery and of course it is only fair and logical that you would take the time to look after him. I wish you well with that.

My best wishes for a speedy recovery. Although I have not been able to RP with HVS recently, I still enjoy reading them. Perhaps in time Valinon can get around to "normalizing" its relation with the Vatican again.

I had hoped it was something much less serious, such as computer issues that had kept you good people away. Very much sorry to hear this wasn't the case, and send wishes along for a speedy and full recovery.

Priorities first - It's only a game after all, and it (and us all) can certainly wait. You've been missed, but far from forgotten. Take care, you guys. Best of luck with it, on all counts.

As said above, recovery is the most important. I wish you in general, and him in particular, the very best, and hopes for a speedy, and full, recovery. I know how... unpleasant cardiac "issues" can be.
