The Corporate Utopia of Liebermonk announced today that Liebermonk Tech. Industries has officially made it to space. For some time the government, or what there is of a government, has been backing this space program. however, their announcement was of much more than originally thought it would be. It seems that not only have they made it to space, but they have also created a base upon the moon. There has been a team living in this moon based for about a weeks time. The space shuttle has already returned to home, and is planning to leave out again, to launch a few more sattelites into orbit. The mission of the moonbase is to collect rare minerals only found on the moon, and study them for possible uses. Reports indicate that the team in this base is made up of two college proffesors from University of Liebermonk School of Space and Astronomy. A techinician for the special equipment used is also present. A botany/agriculture specialist was brought along to manage the growing of new foods. These plants will also help control oxygen levels. Also brought along for the ride is fluffy, the first space Liebercat. The gravity on this moon is oddly strong. Scientist beleive that there is a super-dense core within this moon. Another goal of this base will be to discover what it is made out of.
The government of Liebermonk would also like to stress one thing. This, as well as all things done by Liebermonkians is not related to the military in any way. Liebemronk stands by its beliefe that there should be no military in any form. This did not work out, especially when Communist Mississipian terrorist attempted to assasinate the President. The government, however, has decided the answer is to press it stronger upon all foreign nations that military action will not be taken, and other nations should not take military action against Liebermonk. They wish to remain nuetral. This nuetrality can be seen in the fact that no person or vehicle in this space mission is equiped with any form of weaponry.

Due to fear from outside nations attempting to influence how this space program shall work, The Corporate Utopia of Liebermonk hereby grants full control of the space shuttles to its colony, The Colony of New Liebermonk. This semi-independant nation has built an army, enough of one for defensive purposes. New Liebermonk has always had a very large airport. One large enough to handle the space shuttles. The company working on the whole project has sites in both nations, so the transistion will be smooth. New Liebermonk has gladly accepted the honor of having this new addition to their nation, and has already began changing the ships for minor defensive purposes incase of attack.
