For years now, the agricultural area of northern Grenval has been the major producer of the grains that stock stores and warehouses around Grenval and feed the population. It is on a small farm in norther Grenval, during the fall harvest season, that what is to become known as The Farm Massacre begins.
A Oakers family are sitting around the dinner table, after the first day of the harvest season. Outside, the temperature is beginning to drop as the fall season begins setting in, taking the bite away from the August heat that has been plauging the area. Inside, a warm light shines down upon the kitchen, where Harvey Junior sat at the table, waiting for dinner. The seven year old figeted in his chair as his mother set down his plate in front of him. Out of habit, she warned him, "Do not start eating until we have said the prayer."
But Harvey Junior ignored her as he grabbed his corn on the cob. Opening his mouth as wide as possible, showing his missing teeth, they had just fallen out, he dug into the corn. Just as his mother turned to tell him to stop, he dropped to the floor, convulsing.

"And welcome back to GNN: Grenval News Network. In breaking news today, governmental officials are warning that the food you buy everyday in the supermarket is unsafe to eat. That is right, do not eat the food! The Grenval Intelligence Center, located in Blair, Grenval, cites terrorism as the probable cause. Due to that, all shipments of produce coming from northern Grenval have been stopped. The government is currently in the process of buying all the food. However, if money runs short, the government will consider nationalizing the produce. The stock market, recently experiencing an eight week high, is falling, and the Grenvali Nation Bank and Reserve have enacted numerous laws to stop the crash. So far, the death toll is reported at one hundred and seventeen." The camera turned from the woman to the man sitting next to her, and he began speaking.
A black van rumbled down the road, trying its best to be quiet on the rough gravel street. Its headlights were turned off for secrecy, despite that it was eleven o' clock at night. As the van rounded a corner, it crashed into a tree. The tree shuddered as the driver was thrown from the vehicle, straight into its branches. The side door opened and four men, dressed in black, jumped out. Each carried an Uzi and an assualt rifle with a folding stock inside their trenchcoats. One man fell onto the ground as he tried to leave the van, his leg broken. His bone, which had torn through his pants, shone in the moonlight, the only shape visible on his entire body. Hitting the ground, he passed out from pain. One of the men dragged him back into the van. The other two men were carrying the driver back to the van also.
Suddenly, over a hilltop, surrounded by ears of corn, twenty people, also dressed in black, pulled out their machine guns. Instantly, the night was broken with the fire of weapons. The van burst into flame, then exploded as the gasoline was ignited.
