Ten thousand swords leaped from their scabbards to avenge even a look that threatened her with insult or to defend the king even as the kingdom itself is overrun. But the age of chivalry is but a forgotten memory, or is it?

The new parliament building was very simple, lacking decorations, it reflected the fact that the government could not indulge in any luxuries as they were still managing the controlled chaos that is the country itself after the recent military insurrection. This didn't make the two guests any less welcome however, because as they entered the room, Lev maintained a cordial glance at the two. He stands, "Welcome, Lev Aleksandrov, at your service. It is indeed a honor to have two such prominent leaders of our time as my guests."

Bound to the Necrontyr Empire and the Menelmacari; He thought. Requiem, perhaps, for an enigmatic little nation that no one pays attention to. Requiem, indeed.

The Emperor, the other guest at his side, their body language, to those who knew of such things, speaking of friendship and surprising ease in each other's company, bowed a little, long white robes exxentuating the movement of his body. He smiled and looked into Lev's eyes, "You flatter us," he said, with more modesty than usual, "but nevertheless we are happy to be here," he paused and looked at Sirithil to see if she had any comment on that.
