Press Release; Pax Galactica Minsitry of Environment and Natural Resources.
Earlier this week, geologists exploring the vast tracks of Dominion Territory came across and unusual find. In a survey of World XR-16:386, scientist came across a new type of metal, dubbed "Braezilon". Upon further inspection, all the other planets in the XR solar system were found to contain major deposits of this metal. Astrophysicists and geologists have concluded that the unusual formation of the star system caused this strange metal to form, though further tests will be needed to confirm this and other facts about this metal.
Preliminary analysis of this substance have yeilded some interesting results. The metal, while atomiclly stable, seems to have strong resonation abilities, producing and conducting strange wavelengths of various types of energy.
Further testing and examination will be carried out. However, plans are already being made to mine this metal. Dominion scientists have started the conception of using this metal in the construction of starships, and possibly even new propulsion systems.
