Alternatively, why not sign up for the Yamsterdam Tournament, the latest tournament to hit the Nationstates World?! Based strictly on the Amsterdam Tournament, apart from there are sixteen places and four groups, as opposed to four teams and one group, it is one of the most unpredictable and exciting tournaments IN THE WORLD, as is shown by the Ajax versus Barcelona game a few seasons ago. If you're interested, just hold on a few days, and a new thread will appear allowing you to sign up.

Or, alternatively, why not plug your tournament somewhere else, the latest guideline in Nationstates ettiquette?! Based strictly on the RL rule of minding your own business, apart from it's based in a NS setting, as opposed to a RL one, it is one of the most universal guidelines IN THE WORLD, as is shown by the lack of other pluggings in this thread the past few minutes. If you're interested, just hold on a few days, and a new book about NS ettiquette will appear allowing you to be polite.

Raptor Claw

Please Include the Raptors

The Raptor Claw Goalkeeper, Gonnast Opyou, from Tonka City in Giant Zucchini, has been National team keeper for many seasons now, improving at every attempt. The Raptor Claw Defense is led by Imapla Yindabak, also from the South Island Clan The towering central defender is a menace to all that approach. Partnering this Raptor in Central defense is Iwilltac Kleyou, from the rejuvinated Central Island Clan. This Raptor is the first to make the National team from the Central Island Clan since the horrific dismembering of the clan prior to World Cup 14. Playing as Wing backs will be Makapla Yupdaline and Overla Pinrun, both from the East Island Clan and regulars in the Raptors Lineup. The Raptor Claw midfield is led by Captain Imdalea Der, the experienced Raptor from the North Island Clan is an important fixture in the Raptors lineup every time they step out onto the pitch. Partnering Der in the Center of Midfield is Contro Lindaplae, also of the North Island Clan. On the left wing is the pacey Runni Nondaside from the West Island Clan and on the right wing, one of the most prolific Raptor goalscorers, Maki Narun from the South Island Clan. The Raptor Claw strike force is the frequently troublesome duo of Imat Arget and Runni Naroun. both from the East Island Clan

Oh, I'm sorry, so you're allowed to advertise your tournament in my thread, but I'm not allowed to advertise mine in yours? That makes sense!

You really don't like me, do you? Oh well, never mind. Methinks I'll let you get on with this, and I'll get on with my things.

P.S. I'm assuming by your name that you support Liverpool. Don't you think that Benitez should play Owen and Cisse up front with Baros just behind them and possibly with a supplier for him in midfield? Somebody like Smicer would have been ideal, but what he really needs to do is buy someone from the Czech midfield, like Nedved (yeah, right) or Rosicky for that job - then they'd be a force to reckon with.

OOC: With all the hype about Owen going to Madrid, I can see why he was left on the bench against Graz.
Maserrat

I thought he was going to be left on the bench anyway, to save him for the start of the season - it's not exactly as if they missed him, was it? Now we just need Manchester United to lose to Dinamo Bucharest, and that would cap off an excellent week.

In that case, I'll have to assemble a roster for this of aristocratic snobs whom have taken to the Soccer Field: The Magnus Valerian Aristo-Stars.

TEN's U21 WC4 team's names have been stricken from all written record and their faces placed in iron masks to hide the same of these players. They will be refered to as Number 1 through Number 18. Perhaps their names MIGHT be found again if they can come up with some success in this tournament.
