"So, the HUXFLUX Generator was a success eh?" Veers spoke as he looked down in his papers.
"You know, we are not small numbered as it comes to the army. Though.. we never use it nowdays." he continued.
The generals infront of him stood still, listenting.
"And more to it, we have several space fleets, over our heads. Why arent they patroling anything? Ofcourse, invading our space.. the little we have.. would be a total nightmare for whoever does it, but on the other hand.. we need the resources, So I hereby order you to go fetch Danneland some stars, planets and a couple of asteriods."

"You can start with looking into this.. dead zone.. FTL Drives, its luck that we use Warp. heh.. hm.. never mind.. start to search on the outskirts of this "dead Zone".. And while you'r doing that, I'll dust of the ol' colony ships. The colonization project was aborted after the last nuclear attack on us.. oh.. I suppose you allready knew that.. oh well.. anyhows, by the weekend I'd like to have atleast ten systems that we can colonize and claim as ours. So, you have seven days gentle men!.. and the one who brings me the most systems shall be greatly rewarded!"
The 10 generals hailed Veers and quickly made their way to their respective fleet. Only Veers personal fleet remained home to defend and patrol the little space that was known to be Dannelands.
The First Fleet, Commanded by General Vlastock Hambo
The general was a short, fat, bitter man who hated everyone. Joy was not something he was familiar with, but he did like a good competition, and he would do everything that stood in his power to bring home the most systems.
With his russian accent he adressed the crew of The DSS Harvester.
"We shall leave for cordinates two..five...one..nine..engage!"
The first fleet got into warp, the journey to 2519 was rather boring, Vlastock spent most of the time drinking. That was his other hobby beside blasting space pirates into dust.
Through the comm system he was hailed. "We have arrived at sector 2519"
"Im comming, Im comming!" the general yelled back at the navigation officer.
He arrived on command deck. "Well.. well?!"
"Sir, we have located.. 15 systems sir. Orders?"
"Bah! send out ships to each one of them, scan them and I hope you all pray to god that there are systems that we can colonize.. or else!"
"Or else what sir?"
"OR ELSE WE HAVE TO GO TO ANOTHER DAMN SECTOR!"
Vlastock threw his glass of vodka at the officer, wich got hit in the head and passed out.
"MEEEDIIIIC!" The general yelled and got into the Command Seat. "I hate obroad mission.." he mumbled.
The Seccond Fleet, Commanded by James Bond
His mother had the bright idea to name him after a famous movie character. She'd never expect him to join the navy to make sure he'd stay away from her as long as possible. With a tierd face he enterd the command brige.
"Set course for sector 2..2..1..8.. while I crash here.. I dont know.."
As long as nothing of real intreset happend around James, like a war and enemies. He didnt make mutch noice, but he was a brilliant General, when he got around to it.
James fell asleep in the command seat. Some hours later they arrived at sector 2218. His naviagtion officers gently woke him up.
"Yea.. well?"
"I can read nine systems sir"
"Send out some people.. you know.. investigate.. Im hungry.. I'll be down in the mess hall if ya'll need me. Just call me.. okay?"
"Yes sir!"
The Third Fleet, Commanded by General Johana
General Johana stood at the command deck. She was one of hard nosed women who just had to prove that they could be just as coldhearted massmurdering maniacs as any other male. The bad thing was that she had the looks of a goddist.. and well, it was hard for her male crew to keep concentration on their job.
"Set course for 2..3..1..8..now!"
"Yes mam'!"
The third fleet arrived hours later, found 11 systems and began to investigate if there was any planets to colonize.
The Fourth Fleet, Commanded by Joe
General Joe in his youth had been a rocker, he loved the women, the beer and the music. And he still did, due to some more or less legal activities he joined the navy to get away from prison. He found himselfe rasing in the ranks and was promoted to general only six months before he got ordered to do this.
"Head for 2..3..1..7.."
his fleet got into warp and the same thing happend there as with the other three fleets. 19 Systems to investiage.
The Fifth Fleet, Commanded by A.I Bob
A.I Bob was the first A.I to command a major fleet. It set course for 2117, the entire fleet lacked any crew. Since it took care of everything on its own.
It arrived, scanned the sector, found 6 systems and began to investigate.
OOC: At the moment this is more of a story rather than an RP, since the only one near the "Dead Zone" is Kanuckistan. and well, I dont plan to claim his space. Im using the map as a reference to what is claimed and what is not.
