LIBERAL PARTY ANNOUNCES CHOICES: QUESTO MICHAEL LAWRENCE, SECURITY MINISTER; KEVIN LAVERNE/JOHN FORRESTOR, MILITARY MINISTER; PEOPLE AFFAIRS MINISTER, MICHELLE LACI; GOVERNMENT-AFFAIRS MINISTER, GORDON A. FISCHER; FOREIGN POLICY MINISTER: THOMAS J.H. MUSKEY/ROBERT LANE; ADVISERS LILY CORNOPOLIS/ ROBIN LINCH/CYBILL ROBERTS/THOMAS MCDONALD-MUSKEY

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Larogera is having an election for the next priminister as you know but our government known as a 'Final-Parlimentary' doesn't allow the priminister & his deputy of intelligence to pick these people. We agree that the people pick these positions:

1. Security Minister- The security minister has the duty of advising the priminister in security affairs. He has the power to advise the priminister into closing the borders of the region & country, putting the country on alert for terrorism, and anything else to do with terrorism. Even though the priminister makes the final decision, the security minister is notified of these alerts.

2. Military Minister- The military minister is in charge of advising the priminister in military affairs. The military minister has the power of advising the priminister in any military affairs from ordering the military to declare war to ordering the military to withdraw.

3. People-Affairs Minister- The People-Affairs Minister not only has the power of advising, but has the power of making some decisions without the top-dog. He/she advises the priminister on people-made decisions (elections, enzos, housers (senators, congressmen/women) and makes decision about protests, and people concerns.

4. Government-Affairs Minister- The Government-Affairs Minister advises the DI on government-intelligence & affairs relationships. This includes alliances, trade, and any other alliance decisions. The DI makes the final decision, but the G-A Minister creates options.

5. Secury Minister Adviser- Advises the Security Minister in making decisions.

6. Military Minister Adviser- Advises the Military Minister in making decisions.

7. Foreign Policy Minister- The Foreign Policy Minister makes decisions on foreign policy & how it affects the rest of the world. The final decision is made by the priminister & the People's Leadership Council (PLC)

You must elect by party, meaning that a different party could be controlling the 7 cabinets. The Conservative, Imperial, Liberal, and Monarchy parties are running. Each of these parties have released 'platforms':

Conservative- The Conservative Party has taken a more 'fiscal' stance this year. They are increasing security this year by electing a person with a fiscal security history. They hope to order 'alert levels' (such as the American way) in hopes to help warn people. The military is supposed to strengthen itself army & navy wise to make sure that we have bunkers protecting people coming in and out the borders on ships, ferries, and planes. Otherwise, they have decided to focus most on Military and Security, instead of the foreign policy.

Imperial- The Imperial Party wants to focus on serious military & security spending, and create 'protection' for Larogerans by spending more on Social Welfare, Education, and Law & Order. They also hope to create a foreign policy plan that will benefit the world. They also hope to increase spending on environmental issues.

Liberal- The Liberal Party hopes to increase spending on Government-Affairs by creating alliances with Inoffensive Centrist Democracy countries. Not only that, they will create a security plan that will protect Larogerans without scaring them. The environmental plan will be addressed, still following the 5 environmental rules to be made by J.H. Muskey, in which lets every 5 miles have over 10 trees and over 65 plants.

Monarchy- The Monarchy Party, in which isn't running for priminister is hoping to increase funds on foreign policy and keep everything else the same.

Please vote for one of these parties. Don't vote for the same party you voted for priminister, because some of the policies might be different.

Why the Liberal Party will work with the priminister....
Trato 7, 4002 (August 7, 2004)
By: Robert LaTonto

The Liberal Party has taken a lead early in polls with over 80% of the vote. Why is the Liberal Party the BEST for the jobs? The Liberal Party has been known to work with different governments.

"The Liberal Party has some of the best people for the job because the Liberals look for leadership, quality, and credentials instead of just picking the guy around the corner", Liberal Party chairman Ronald Johnson said.

Of course, the other party, the Imperials have problems. They won the last election (in which representatives voted) and carried a horrible government for some time. The Liberals have been fighting to get into the government so they can increase spending in different places.

The Conservatives & Monarchs are very 'fiscal' people who have had a past of increasing spending by over 50% on one thing, making it a very uneven administration/cabinet.

The Liberal Party (in which is losing the priminister election) has decided to pair J.H. Muskey with the cabinet. If Muskey loses the election, he will become the Government-Affairs Minister, and if his DI candidate, Kevin Laverne loses as well, he will become the Security Minister. It's all in the family, and the Liberal Party looks to be winning.

Full Report: Monarchy Party

The Monarchs are back for 2004 as they introduce their plan for Larogerans if they get elected. Currently they have no votes, but they are continuing the momentum. 23% of funding put aside is being spent on advertising, in which will help out the Monarchs a great deal if this advertising is 'good'.

The Monarchs on Foreign Policy:

"Foreign Policy is very important to us. We believe that alliances & trade are very important and funding should be severely increased if we want to have friends in times of conflict", Monarch Chairman James Livingston is saying.

The foreign policy budget is under 6 billion gropes, but the Monarchs hope to increase it by 5% to about 7.5 billion gropes a year.

The Monarchs on Security:

Security is supposed to be a big issue for the Monarchs this year.

"We are hoping to have a warning & alert center, and also a strict policy against foreigners coming 'illegally' into the country. We know that we can do this without increasing severely", Monarch Budgetter Laura Stapleton

The security budget is at about 1 billion gropes, and they hope to keep it that way.

The Monarchs on Government Affairs:

"The government needs a 'fiscal' policy. Our platform on government affairs is called 'foreign fiscal conservitism', which means we will allow 'legal' people into the country. They must have the Larogeran seal of approval if they want to come into their country, and their passport (yonto in Larogera)will be in file and updated every single time the person goes on a trip".

The budget, in which is at about 16 billion will actually decrease heavily to about 2 billion gropes.

"We are hoping to start more alliances, and create strict, but working trade projects".

Full Report: Liberal Party

The Liberal Party has decided to focus more on governmental-affairs & security.

"We hope to create tons of alliances: several with inoffensive centrist democracy, trade organizations, and war friends", Liberal Kevin Laverne said.

The Liberal Party hopes to increase the budget of government affairs from 16 billion gropes to 16.5 billion gropes, and place in alliance, trade, & war-alliances.

"Security is very important, and we need to look at it very closely. By creating a tight security plan that checks passports, and checks bags and such without scaring the Larogeran people", Kevin Laverne said.

Security's budget is at about 1 billion gropes, and is supposed to be increased to 5.5 billion gropes.

The Liberal and Imperial Party both but up booths at the 50th anniversary of John Klirken's famous 'I have an orange' speech, in which was a strict environment speech that led to Klirken's Environment Day, a popularized day full of environmental speeches and more.

Confusing Elections; Too Many??
Trato, 9 4002 (August 9, 2004)
By: Kimberly Kirkmen

As Larogerans all over the country are getting used to the new process (in which they can vote up to 25 times a year), it is still confusing for many. In the past election, in which the Leadership Council, Gordon A. Fischer, and the Foreign Affairs Committee was elected to lead the government, there was only one election, and it lasted for 2 days. Now, there are 2 elections so far, with one outrunning the next.

"It is confusing. I go to vote for priminister, and I end up voting for two things: cabinet members, as well", George Pontonoton, a fan of the Monarchy-government said.

Yet, Gordon A. Fischer, the outgoing Deputy of Intelligence is saying that he likes this change.

"Giving people at least a month to vote in the election gives a better voter turnout. Instead of 2 or 1 day(s), you get 26 or 30, making the voter turnout over 90%", Gordon A. Fischer said.

Currently, the voter turnout for Larogerans is at about 46% in cabinet elections and at about 67% in priminister elections.

"It is still early", Gordon pointed out.

Michelle Laci calls the system, 'an astonishing way for government'.
Thomas J.H. says, 'wonderful, brilliant, gives more time for voting'
George Herman says, 'it is an excellent way to bring out more votes'

The Liberal, Conservative/No-Name, and Imperial Parties all agree with it. One party makes it extremely difficult though: the Monarchs.

"The Monarchy Party wanted a revamped version of the Monarchy Party in the 21st century. Come on, get a life, get a grip", Liberal Paul Deveraux said.

The Monarchs proposed a plan in which eligible people would run to be king, and representatives would run to vote for them.

"Too much bias & scandal is involved. We need to come to a new conclusion", Conservative Ryan Feldman said.

Gordon A. Fischer, who has been known as the 'Every Party United' guy started the 'Final-Parlimentary Revolution' in 1993, in which became very famous. Monarchs were destroyed.

Today, Monarchs are simple people, who believe that the government is horrible. Some have been banned from the region because of their terrible doings.

Which brings us to the final question: is this election process good or bad?

The Imperial Party weekend campaign was cancelled, as was the Liberal event supposed to happen. Polls have been closed in some areas, but the awareness of the election has increased in recent days, with the fresh gossip of Michelle Laci becoming a Liberal, as both party's (Liberal and Imperial) will combine forces to create the best cabinet possible, according to the chairman of the Imperial Party.

Meanwhile, the Monarchs are rallying behind the Conservatives as both are campaigning to fight the Imperials and Liberals and fight for the Larogeran people. Both parties have been heavily opposed for the past few years, and also have never been able to win an election.

Otherwise, Gordon A. Fischer declined to give an endorsement to any party.
