The Imperium of Ruskkia's Garrack coloney has been invaded in a suprised, but expected, attack by the Industrial States of Artia.

It is believed that the Artian invasion force captured the colony capital, Port Garrack, with out a shot being fired (the Ruskkie Imperial Army platoon supposedly defending Port Garrack decided to leg it). Course the Ruskkie government is totally speechless about the invasion.

It has been learnt that newly promoted Lord General Chales W. Cringu 3rd will be commander-in-chief of the campain to reclaim Garrack.

At the moment in the Ruskkie military port of Saltaire is a scene of total chaos as half of the Ruskkie Imperial Army, including penal legions and artillery companies, and elements of the Imperial Air Corps swamp the town. The Imperial Navy has reportedly began a mass 'press gang' recruiment drive, support of course by the Ruskkie Interior Guard.

People of Artia, praise our brave boys for taking back whats ours!

The island of Garrack is now part of Artia once more, the swine Ruskkies didn't have much of a stomach for a fight!

However the Ruskkies are planning to luanch a couter attack against our lands and the Artian government needs you to defend our land. We need you on the lands and in the factories, we need you on the front line to show the Ruskkie scumbags once and for all that GARRCK IS ARTIAN!

I believe that some background is needed though;

You see the Garrack situation dates back to Ruskkia's colonial days, the island of Garrack was first discovered by a Captain J. Garrack of the Ruskkie Imperial Navy sometime in the late 1700s. The first Ruskkie colony, Port Artia, was founded sometime after this, but Garrack remained uninhabited expect for some half-wit birds.

Course following the Artian War of Indepence in 1821, a Ruskkie naval base was founded on Garrack called Port Garrack. It was from Garrack that seaveral campains were launched to retake Artia including the ill-fated Southern Peninsula War of 1885...

Problems in both Artia and Ruskkie during the early years of the 20th century lead to both nations keeping quiet over the Garrack affair. Then in the 1950s an attempt was made to sort things out, however that lead to leaders of both nations walking out in the first 15 minutes.

And that pretty much brings us up todate.
