Starblaydia World Cup Squad Announced
Jean-Paul Georges-Ringeaux names his 23-man squad for the World Cup Qualifiers.

Goalkeepers (3)
1. *@^Rodriguez Da Silva, 24 - Iskara Daii
Entrenched as the Under-21 Goalkeeper since he was 16, Rodriguez is being touted by every pundit as the future of Starblaydi Goalkeeping for as long as the next decade, he has replaced Myhill between the sticks at this tournament. A shock pre-tournament announcement that he is moving to newly-crowned Starblaydi Alpha Division Champions Iskara Daii is still sinking in for the heartbroken Internashionale fans.

12. ~@Boaz Myhill, 35 - Corinthian Spirits
Debateable as to whether he's still the best 'keeper in the country, Boaz is as solid between the sticks as you could ask for. A great commander of his area and good shot-stopper too, he was the number one for as long as many fans can remember

21. ~Matt Higgins, 31 - Jhanna United
The second backup goalie yet again in WC Qualifiers, Higgins is in the squad in case something goes terribly wrong for the other two keepers. He may never again get the oppurtunity to represent his country in a major tournament, though a switch across the capital to Jhanna Utd from Jhanna City may not have helped him as much as he wanted.

Defenders (7)
2. *~@Robert Cole, 30 - Corinthian Spirits
His switch to right-back for his club has paid off for Robert Cole, and now plays alongside his brother Paul. Also able to play at left-back he is an experienced, solid defender.

3. *~@Ryan Garry (Captain),34 - Vecchio Victors
Back for one last time, Ryan Garry has raised his fitness levels to a higher level than ever, just for this tournament. Still inspirational down the left of the park, Garry holds the team together at the back.

5. *^Spike Martin, 22 - Jhanna United
The Under-21 Captain at U21WC4, Spike is leading the rejuvenation of United, and looks set to take the captain's armband when he gains a few years.

6. *~@Paul Cole, 29 - Corinthian Spirits
Tall and strong and back for his second World Cup, Paul Cole is a skilled Centre-Back, who reads the game excellently.

13. ^@Rastian Salaam, 23 - Iskara Daii
Now specialising as a Left-Back at Iskara Daii, this former Under-21 back-three player will most likely take over from Ryan Garry down that side of the pitch. One to watch for the future.

15. ^Moses Brown, 23 - Hallad Reavers
Another man off the 'Big, Strong Defender' production line within Starblaydia's Alpha Division. Where do all these guys come from?

23. ~@Matthew Kilgallon, 34 - Internashionale
Still big and strong but not as quick as he used to be, which means he is here to give the younger players a guiding hand through this tournament, perhaps in preparation for a management role in the future.

Midfielders (7)
4. *^@Ki-Jana Carter, 23 - Iskara Daii
Supremely commanding at the U21WC3, Ki has graduated to the Senior side with style and power. His defending is second to none, plus his range of passing seems to increase with every International match.

7. *~@Stefan Haldorsson, 29 - Internashionale
The number one Left-Midfielder in the country, the two-footed playmaker and free-kick taker still retains his dazzling displays of skill and work ethics previously seen in WCXV Qualifiers.

14. *^@J.J. Stark, 21 - Tabeck FC
The young Right-midfielder has been bumped up to the Senior squad, instead of captaining the U21s for their last tournament. The youngest player in the squad, he is also Tabeck's youngest Club Captain ever.

16. ^Brett Perriman, 24 - Basian Valley
A versatile left-sided midfielder, Brett is being used as a general-purpose backup anywhere up and down the left.

17. ~@David Benson, 27 - Internashionale
Having won great respect for his performances in WCXV, Benson's Right-Midifeld antics balance Haldorsson's perfectly, with great runs and through balls. His switch to the same club side as Stefan has cemented their switching and link-up plays

19. ~@Aiden Matranga, 31 - Jhanna City
The veteran Left Winger has lost half a yard in his speed but is now more serious and more of a playmaker. Fiercely patriotic, the Jhanna City Captain is a short winger in the classical mould, flying down the touchline for a pin-point cross into the box

22. ~David Mannix, 34 - Phraen Palace
Once again the general-purpose midfield backup, David's game has changed somewhat since his move to Inter, and is now more comfortable in a defensive role.

Forwards (6)
8. *~@Fabricio de Souza Lima, 31 - Internashionale
Now entrenched as a Playmaking-forward. His amazing ball control and fierce right foot mark him out as a samba star. His game is much slower now, based more on control than blurring speed. Switched to the Spirits from Internashionale in a controversial move.

9. *~@Nikola "Laser" Lazerevski, 32 - Penningworth United
With 12 goals he's Starblaydia's all-time top scorer, though some feel he is losing his pace. Even with this criticism he's still the first striker on everyone's Fantasy-League team

10. *^@Simeone Di Bradini, 23 - Iskara Daii
A nineteen year-old striking sensation in Starblaydia's U21WC3 campaign, Di Bradini has pace, power, drive and an excellent touch, top-scoring the Daii to the Starblaydi Alpha Division Championship. The new Nikola "Laser" Lazerevski?

11. ^Karl Robertson, 22 - Iskara Daii
Striking partner of Di Bradini at Iskara Daii, Robertson did well at U21WC4

18 ^@Ricky Torino, 22 - Jhanna United
Played alongside Di Bradini in the U21WC3, his stinging shot is famous with goalkeepers all over Starblaydia, moved last season from Tabeck FC

20. ~@David Bentley, 33 - Penningworth United
David Bentley's sweet touch, work rate and shooting ability are still highly prized by the nation, though his fitness levels and pace have dropped off dramatically, his legendary class is there for all to see.

World Cup 16 Roster
The World Cup 16 starting eleven have been announced.

By Bill Christmas

OGLETHORPIA (BT) -- To the surprise of no one, due to the speed in which the World Cup 16 roster was released, the starting eleven representing Oglethorpia has seen no roster changes since the end of World Cup 15 at the hands of arch-enemies Eauz. Not even the ages of the players have changed, possiblity attributable to BSFA President Mel Green striking a deal with the devil, despite his best attempts at telling the public otherwise.

Sarzonia
24-07-2004, 02:08
Fresh off a Baptism of Fire Cup title, Bryan Marshall, the coach of Sarzonia's national team announced the roster for the team's World Cup debut.

Sarzonia Stars
Coach: Bryan Marshall. Assistants: Dave Wilson; Barry Owens

ROSTER (starters in bold)
GOALKEEPERS
30 Troy Perkins (Portland): Perkins is still young (23), but was a commanding presence in net during the BoF Cup with five clean sheets in six matches (0.33 GAA).
1 Kerry Tanner (Portsmouth): Now 34, Tanner brings a veteran presence to the team. He can take over in a pinch if Perkins can't go.

DEFENDERS
2 Mike Coyle (Woodstock): Left back in the Wild's 4-4-2 alignment. Speedy defender who can make up for occasional lapses in positioning with sheer athleticism and scored twice in the BoF Cup tournament. Now 22, still learning positioning.
5 Bryson Juergens (Portland): Plays left fullback for the Timbers but will play sweeper for the national side. Slow, but experienced. At 36, his best days may be be behind him.
14 William Jackson (Townshend): Steady right back helped bring pride back to the war-torn city of Townshend. 30 years old.
18 Taylor Williams (Rochester): Plays right halfback for the Rage. He earned a spot in the starting 11 with all-star caliber season. Not much pure speed, but tremendous quickness and great smarts. (29 years old)
32 Emacio (Ravenna): Known as a tremendous offensive defender, joined Ravenna in the SFC and helped lead the first year team to the playoffs. (22 years old)
34 Antonio Bresco (Burlington Braves - minor league): Can play defender or midfielder. Led the league in minutes played by bench player. Could start even for most SFC teams, but tires out easily after 65 minutes. At 34 years old, his stamina may be getting worse.

MIDFIELDERS
6 Jeff Conley (Woodstock): Also plays defensive midfield for the Wild. Renowned throughtout the league for shutting down the league's best attacking midfielders and withdrawn forwards. Aggressive streak sometimes results in cautions and sendoffs. 35 years old but in the best shape of his career.
9 Darwin Russell: (Parkville F.C. [NEWI Cefn Druids]): Tremendous left-side player with a deadly accurate free kick from that side. Can be roughed up and taken out of his game. At 24 years old, still has potential.
10 Bobby Convey: (Woodstock): Team captain. Easily the best playmaker in all of Sarzonia. Very experienced. Able to relate to all his teammates well. Frightening maturity at 22.
16 John Benmont (Portsmouth): Rugged midfielder adds great danger on right flank with accurate, pacey free kicks. Above average speed. 27 years old.
21 Martin Overton (Richmond): Plays defensive midfield for Richmond, but can also join the attack in a pinch. Has played withdrawn forward at times when the club team was hit by injuries or suspensions. 28 years old.
17 George Mitcham (Saugerties): Plays attacking midfield for the expansion Snakes, though he's better suited on the flanks. At 24 years old, may flourish with a new club.

FORWARDS
13 Anton Gregor (Daurmont, Isselmere-Nieland): Withdrawn forward who doesn't see much playing time on the capital city's best side. However, played key role in BoF tournament for Sarzonia. At 26 years old, the sky's the limit.
22 Brian Wilson (Woodstock): At 20, the youngest player on the team, but has terrific skills for his age and great football awareness. His father is the national team's top assistant coach, so he often thinks like a coach on the pitch. Shared MVP trophy with Perkins in BoF tournament.
31 Barry Alphonso (New Daurmont): Can play either withdrawn forward or striker for his club team. Led the league with 19 goals last season. Set records for most goals in Joe Gibbs University's history as a four year starter. 25 years old.
Melmond
24-07-2004, 03:38
Meet the Under-a-Cheevers!
The Melmond National Team

kits: white and loser red

Manager Gerry Cheevers Age: 48 Sex: Male
After one qualifying campaign serving as assistant manager to Felix Coostatlwak, Gerry Cheevers is ready to take over the side cleverly affixed with his name and yet oh so Melmondian. He brings a harmonized evenness to the fold in Melmond. The formation reflects the harmony he tries to achieve, as he follows the sacred geometry of the 4-3-1-2 triangle formation.

Starters (All Clubs in Melmond Unless Specified)

Goalkeeper #21 Snhp Xtfuinxm Age: 27 Sex: Male Club: Elliston (Krytenia)
He has to be the unluckiest goalkeeper in the world in the past couple years as lots of strange mishaps have gotten balls past this world-class goalkeeper. Hopefully a new qualifying campaign could bring Xtfuinxm back to putting up the clean sheets.

Defender #7 Jonsi Torrini Age: 31 Sex: Male Club: Cornellby City (Audioslavia)
The up and coming youngster who started in Melmond’s first ever World Cup qualifying campaign is now the solid veteran leader in Melmond’s backfield. Not only is his defence superb, but he can certainly let out great corner kicks.

Defender #3 Sergio Ortiz Age: 32 Sex: Male Club: Unne Yellows
The complement to Torrini on the veteran side of defence, Ortiz combines physicality and cleverness to balance out Torrini’s strong yet unflashy marking.

Defender #24 Charles Unne Age: 17 Sex: Male Club: Unne Yellows
Charles Unne seems to be following Unne football tradition quite well. The youngest brother of the football playing Unne family featuring Diallo, Critandi, and Gina, Charles has already proven to be one heck of a defender, getting the Melmond Premier League’s Defender of the Year award in his first ever professional season.

Defender #22 Trav Strachan Age: 23 Sex: Male Club: Lee Grays
Has surprised many by his ability to shut down the top scorer of the sides played against with his very physical style. However, that physical style may put him in card trouble.

Midfielder #25 Fwynj Otsjx Age: 27 Sex: Male Club: Melmond City Blues
A childhood friend of Snhp Xtfuinxm has finally impressed the Melmond football community. Being a foot shorter than Snhp Xtfuinxm, people said he didn’t have the physical skills. But his skills, a combination of Camui Arai and Chris Owen have turned people into believers.

Midfielder #19 Rainy Zoulthane Age: 32 Sex: Female Club: O’Connor Greens
Finally the always solid Zoulthane gets her chance to start for the national team after being a very dependable sub. Her chemistry with striker Benjamin Leeb should do wonders for the attack.

Midfielder #11 Cristina Antunez Age: 34 Sex: Female Club: Lee Grays
Who knew that the flashy and the mistaken prone young Cristina Antunez would metamorphosize to be the steady member of the midfield? However, she can still pull off the clever and immaculate pass.

Point #8 Critandi Unne Age: 25 Sex: Genderqueer Club: Sen-La-Sa~o Relekhati (Rejistania)
Playing the “point” position in the Cheevers triangle, Melmond striker Critandi Unne certainly has talent to spare, even from this demanding position which requires hir to coordinate the entire attack.

Forward #2 Chris Owen (captain) Age: 34 Sex: Male Club: Aldi Reds
This player just refuses to quit as he is still empathically excited about playing football as he was when he was a teen. His fiery spirit has made him the perfect candidate to be the Melmond National Team’s second captain in its history.

Forward #4 Benjamin Leeb Age: 36 Sex: Male Club: O’Connor Greens
Leeb certainly doesn’t let his age get in the way of his game. His game is a quiet, discipline approach; an approach that gets better with age. He should do well with Zoulthane starting.

Reserves

Goalkeeper #12 Gina Unne Age: 29 Sex: Female Club: Unne Yellows
Sure she is no Snhp Xtfuinxm, but she really made a leap to the next level of goalkeepers in the last couple years. Now if Xtfuinxm gets hurt or has to be substituted, Melmondians need to worry no more.

Defender #26 Veronica Dean Age: 15 Sex: Female Club: Suburbia Whites
She is an absolute firecracker on the pitch. She may be smaller than who she marks, but has the ability to wear them down. However, she has a giant temper. Don’t ever call her V.D.

Midfielder #28 Andrew Gore Age: 39 Sex: Male Club: Melmond City Blues
There may be more talented and younger players in Melmond, but Gore is the ultimate role player and knows his place in all key situations. There is no wonder why when he plays well, his club team plays well.

Forward #27 Mornakh the Bloody Handed Age: 35 Sex: Male Club: Cornellby City (Audioslavia)
Don’t let the reserve status fool you, Mornakh the Bloody Handed may very well be Melmond’s best striker, but Leeb and Owen’s chemistry is unmatched. Expect him to be coupled with Keelafin if Melmond struggles to score goals.

Midfielder #29 Alfred Smith Age: 18 Sex: Male Club: Lee Grays
An offensive minded midfielder, Alfred Smith can usually find the open man or make clever passes. He could also finish as well as he shoots with power and can head the ball rather accurately.

Defender #17 Phael Survigosis Age: 35 Sex: Male Club: Cali Purples
A solid, veteran defender. He will probably be the substitute if any of the young defender struggle on the larger stage.

Defender #18 Kestrel Bluesummers Age: 32 Sex: Female Club: Acosta Browns
She is becoming more than a player for speed and agility lineups against physical sides. She can lead a defence as she had with Acosta Browns. Not the talent of the starters, but still very good.

Midfielder #30 Peeko Noodleschlausen Age: 21 Sex: Male Club: Faasen Oranges
A prototype midfielder, Noodleschlausen can play both the physical defending midfielder and the offensive sparkplug.

Forward #23 Naol Keelafin Age: 33 Sex: Male Club: Melmond City Blues
He is a very good complementary striker, meaning that he is very effective with another talented striker but cannot really lead on his own.

Bedistan
24-07-2004, 21:41
The BFA has, as promised, made huge changes to the composition of the Bedistan Lions for WC16. There are no returning players from previous competitions, and the team once again has new management. The team is composed entirely of younger players, since it seems reasonably apparent that the youth talent of Bedistan is at a high point. The FA has decided to keep the original player numbering system one last time, since with the current 16-man squad (yes, all male for the first time in our history), the numbers just happen to go up all the way to 99. Additional players may be announced later, and if they are, they will most likely be returning players from the WC15 squad playing backup positions.

After the debacle that was the qualification attempt for WC XV, Chuck Mitchell has announced a re-vamped Hurricanes squad,
Only 9 of the squad from the last WC have got a place, although john Bell has retained the Captaincy despite rumours that his move to Giant Zucchini side Earl United would cost him the armband. Young goalie, Fred Fleetfoot seems likely to get the nod ahead of former #1 James David after his outstanding displays in the CoH

Starting 11:
Goalkeeper:
1-Oog - Prehistoric F.C. (GZ)
One of our most dependable players in the squad. Has incredible reach, has the ability to cover any inch of the goal in one dive. Rarely lets in any goals. Suffers from the occasional lapse of concentration.

Defenders:
2-Aargh - Elders (KNG)
A solid right back who tackles with no fear. Has a danger of getting fouled.

3-Humm - Prehistoric F.C. (GZ)
A very solid centre back who will not let anybody past him without a good challenge. Another player who has a danger of getting fouled.

4-Quk - Rentruk Rovers (GZ)
A good clearer of the ball who makes runs up the field occasionally. His tackles are not as hard as Humm's or Aargh's, but he has the ability to clear the ball very quickly to the forwards.

5-Thunk - Earl United (GZ)
A solid left back with a fierce tackle. Plays the passing game well with Krak and Gung.

Midfielders:
7-Kerrnigit - Marauding F.C. (GZ)
A quality right winger who can cross with accuracy, dribble with tight control over the ball, and shoot with a deadly curl. Our default free kick taker.

6-Poom - Marauding F.C. (GZ)
A centre midfielder with a good eye for passes. His ball control, although not as good as Kerrnigit, can still thread him past defenders. He also has an accurate shot, but it occasionally lacks power.

8-Krak - Earl United (GZ)
A centre midfielder with a good pass. Has great interplay with Gung and Thunk.

9-Gung - Earl United (GZ)
A left midfielder who makes the occasional run forward. Exhibits great passing with Krak and Thunk. His shots occasionally lack power.

Forwards:
10-Urk - Marauding F.C. (GZ) - Captain
Without doubt our best striker in the team. Has brilliant ball control and a devastating shot. However, his best weapon is his versatility. Can beat the keeper from way out, produce a breathtaking curler around the keeper, or simply dribble into the box and lob the ball over the keeper. Occasionally plagued with injury problems.

11-Yew Sei Biu - Kung Pao F.C. (GZ)
The first Giant Zucchini international from the region of Kung Pao, native to the Wong Kua race of oriental zucchinis. An excellent finisher despite lacking speed and fitness, this striker usually operates as the fox in the box.

Subs:
12-Zonk - Yuba United (BED) - Forward
A striker who has yet to prove himself. Has passion for the sport, but slightly lacking in ability. Has decent ball control, but his shots lack accuracy and power.

13-Narf - Bill United (GZ) - Midfielder
A stable midfielder. Has good passing abilities. However, slightly lacking in fitness.

14-Throck - Prehistoric F.C. (GZ) - Defender
A stable defender. Usually subbed on when a more defensive style of play is called for. Has a good tackle and a good clearance.

15-Ppakkaddumm - Wurtherington Wanderers (GZ) - Midfielder/Forward
An attack minded midfielder who can also play upfront. Has a decent shot. However, slightly lacking in ball control.

16-Phoot - Prehistoric F.C. (GZ) - Forward
A striker with good ball control and no fear of defenders. Has the ability to dribble the length of the field without losing the ball. Can also finish headers well. However, his shots occasionally lack accuracy and power.

Reserves:
17-Furtermachtermorgstrasluwecragnavonchelsenntungkshvaghugtihetesprishtengckshnoff - Dankeschoen F.C. (GZ) - Forward
Machterstrassefurtermorgannachttunggutsprechenbuchlungweighetvolkshvargenshtickshnoff's compatriate in Dankeschoen F.C.. Has blistering pace and an accurate shot. However, he is low on fitness and ball control, his shots lack power, and he has a dreadful first touch of the ball.

18-Faard - Westinghouse-Armature F.C. (GZ) - Defender
Has good fitness, quick pace, strong in the air, and tackles hard. However, has poor control over the ball and a horrible shot. Most importantly, his passes are usually errant, which may provide chances for the opponents.

19-Shtaan - Simoleons United (GZ) - Forward
A striker with a wicked shot. Despite its speed and power, his shots are very inaccurate, and he usually ends his season with only about 10% of his shots on target. Has good ball control and passing, but lacks stamina and pace.

20-Plaat - Marauding F.C. (GZ) - Goalkeeper
Widely seen as the successor to Oog. Is very alert and anticipates rather well. However, he is rather small and his reach is limited. Prone to committing the occassional slip-up.

21-Xcavabar - Atlantis F.C. (EB) - Forward
Plying his trade in Europa Brittania, this forward is strong testament to the strength of Giant Zucchini. An all out charging type striker, has brilliant speed as well as a great position and finishing sense. However, may be slightly lacking in experience and fitness. His long range shots also lack power.

22-Zurk - Wonkerman Wanderers (GZ) - Defender
Lately deported back from TnUI, this defender combines defensive grit with attacking flair. A young talent who shows great promise.

23-Woog - Wonkerman Wanderers (GZ) - Midfielder
A young talent which caught the eye of Mr Hurr in his first season in the Premiership. Blistering pace and stamina, but lacks experience and composure, and skews most of his shots wide, or straight to the keeper.

24-Messerschmittahugengrossenbiggenfattenheineapmudorischeronzonisonobuonioevrepique - Dankeschoen F.C. (GZ) - Defender
A young defender with good pace and a good tackle. However, his fitness is low, and has few attacking traits. His good passing makes up for his lack of positioning ability.

25-Machterstrassefurtermorgannachttunggutsprechenbuchlungweighetvolkshvargenshtickshnoff - Dankeschoen F.C. (GZ) - Midfielder
A midfielder with a long name. Known to be able to inject flair into a game. Fairly comfortable over the ball. However, his passes lack accuracy and his shots are weak and inaccurate. Also lacking in fitness.

*: while Cirdanistan dosn't have the capitalist concept of true on-pitch off-pitch stardom, certain players do receive more adulation and admiration from the crowds than others, and these have been marked with the asterisk.

The standard kit is haze-grey, with the keeper in black; the alternate is based on the flag, black with a large red star on the chest and the keeper in red.
I'll dig out some of the bios i did for the ACN when i have time.

Spurland Team Shows Up to Play

Today the Spurland national side was chosen. There were no suprises as it was the exact team picked for the recent Baptism of Fire cup where the team finished third. All players have recovered from injury and manager Sid Morzaria seems to have the team he would have hoped for. Most are members of the biggest club in the nation, Tothampton FC.

SPURLAND ROSTER:

MANAGER: Sid Morzaria
ASSISTANTS: Jack Black, Steven Brown

GOALKEEPERS:
*1. Bryan Robinson (28 - Tothampton FC): GK
First Choice kepper at his club for over 6 years, has been instrumental in the clubs success. Very Agile and is known for his bravery.
13. Jack Teller (34 - Clochester Wanderers): GK
Usually safe, but tends to drop off towards the end of games.
16. Robbie Hutch (23 - Blythe FC): GK
Wears a cap. All the time. Besideds that, a handy keeper to have in reserve for any team.

DEFENDERS:
*2. Theo Buss (27 - Tothampton FC): D L
Left Back at his club and is often seen charging down the left wing and knocking in crosses with some precision.
*3. Paul Kelly (19 - Tothampton FC): D C
Young central defendar, very ambitious, has shown signs of developing into a good prospect for the future. His only weakness is giving away freekicks just outside the area.
*4. William Prince (23 - Bromley): D C
Often injured but always gives his best when fit.
*5. Paul Campbell (34 - Accrington): D R
Aging Right Back but still with a lot of quality.
12. Daniel Brown (25 - Tothampton FC): D R/L/C
Versitile player, can play in a number of positions at the back. He gives 100% in every game, but his ability isn't as good as his effort. Good cover for the defence.
14. Kevin Atkinson (27 - Clochester Wanderers): D R
Right back. He has shown signs of being a decent player, but he's not brave enough to actually show us what he can do. At times last season, he wouldn't move with the ball for fear of messing up again.
20. Howard Becker (29 - Tothampton FC): D L
Average player at Left back, not in his clubs first team and is not expect to play unless injuries take its toll on the team.
22. Thorston Willhelmson (18 - Cowdenbeath): D L/C
Good player will lots of talent and time on his hands. Will be one for the future. Player either Center or Left at the back.

MIDFIELDERS:
*6. Jack Davis (29 - Osset Town): L M
Left Midfielder whols played in that position all his career. Can run for 120 mins, always the first one on the pitch.
*7. Martin Ricketts (23 - Tothampton FC): C M
Central Midfiender, hasnt yet quite reached his prime but a good player none the less. Wins all headers that come his way.
*8. Jackson (26 - Tothampton FC): C M
Another one of Tothampton FCs Central Midfielders, always charges up the pitch, goes for every 50-50 ball. Probably the most commited member of the squad. Mostly known for his lack of last name, when asked about it he says, "How am I supposed to know?".
*9. Peter Mannes (29 - Accrington): M R - Captain
This Right sided Midfielders can carry the whole team on his shoulders, superb passing ability, positioning and is the national teams captain. Been at his current club all his career despite a number of offers from more successful ones.
15. Ron Davies (35 - Witton): M C
Oldest member of the team, announced his retirement at the end of next season. Still has signs of the Davies of old. Prefers playing in the center.
17. John Lewis (24 - AFC Westleigh of Krytenia): M R
Right Midfielder with great speed. Unfortunatly without the talent to match it. Average player with average ball skill, and acts like it on the pitch except for his performance at the BoF which earned him the move to AFC Westleigh, the teams only player based abroad.
18. Terry Motson (22 - Weymouth United): M/AM L/R/C
No one really knows what his best position is. But what is known is that he has quality and can score the odd goal.
21. John Blue (30 - Weymouth United): M L
Hardly played last season, only reason he is in the team could be because he is a known friend of the manager. Plays on the Left side of midfield.

FORWARDS:
*10. Robert Yeats (26 - Tothampton FC): SC
He is without a doubt our most consistent player and has saved the team many times in the past. Part of the backbone.
*11. Alaau Morris(22 - Cowdenbeath): SC
Always ends up scoring. He is more out-and-out than Yeats, which makes for a nice little partnership. He's a bit short though.
19. Dean Morris - (17 - Cowdenbeath): SC
Started with his brother Alaau at their club Cowdenbeath last season. He had good first season and was rewarded with a call up. Easily the youngest member of the squad, not expected to start, but a good back-up. Greatly impressed at the BoF.
23. Jonnie Hammond (20 - Weymouth United): FC
Largely inexperienced. Only managed to break into the first team of his club in the latter half of last season scoring just under a goal a game.

*=Expected to start.
