Inside the Mars Asteroid Belt the Webgate opened and an Armadaa exited most where simple Tranports seeming to pull something much larger behind them, although the Ishar Fleet moved amongest these Transports escorting them. immediatly altering direction for Mars, the journey wa slow, for the Eldar the entire fleet being limited by the simple fact that the Transport vessels where having to provide all Thrust to what lay in the middle of their number.

The Anastari was the first link in what eventually would be a chain of Orbital and deep space platforms, that would cover key points for the Yvressi between Mars and Earth hopefully taking some of the strain from the Asuryan Fleets.

This first Station Would be postioned in GeoSync Orbit above the Main Colony on Mars, providing both direct firepower and Smaller Fighters/Bombers to their Arsenal. Later it would act as the Control center for a series of Platforms over Both the Yvressi Martian Colonies.

Now as the First of the Stations was settled into Martian Orbit the Webgate opened once more and the same sight was repeated, the station this time being directed to the Smaller colony of New Roan/Hellespontus. The Two Stations would explain in Part perhaps the Chains Title, theu where the Twin Blades of Mars...

But the Kionash where not finished....

OOC:Hmm, and I hear my admirals and generals getting parranoid already at this new development or at least they will when the stations appear above earth and elsewhere.

((OOC Of ocurse they are only going where we have territorial claims... but it does provide us with a platform to launch fighters etc. It's actually more the other Platforms that shall be linked to the Spires that are behind this program. Once the initial stations are in place we can bring in smaller dedicated satalites. On the main intention is just to allow them to move Fleets around with a little more freedom. Of course it also looks intimadating which is always a plus. and it would be nice to have my own spy Satalites over Earth.))

OOC:Of course but they are going use as an escuse to push to have the orbital command center updated with new equipment and weaponary, besides Tor Yvresse and Teritora still aren't on speaking terms after the elder serial killer. ;)

Now that the stations are in place andsettled more transports pour towards Mars taking up positions around the planet they release small versions of the station, well more cut sections, as they are the size and shape of one of the sides of the station. ((Two of those Wings, and the small gun Emplacement between them.)) Facing 'downwards' at Mars they settle into a regular Orbit of the planet.. After an hour or so Smaller transports arrive and Dock with the 'Satalites' when they leave each Satalite launches a wing of fighters. (15 Fighters/Bombers to a Satalite, Fifteen Satalites to a station.)

And now the larger Spires Launch Wings of Fighters Ten to a station. This is a Network that now surronds Mars, and indeed it is a true Network as each Satalite is connected Via the Web to it's Parent Station allowing fighter crews and ground staff to be rotated regularly, and for more specialised forces to be moved in...

The annoucment came later that day.

People of Mars the Badbaltrias Network went on line today, and it marks the first stage in our growing defensive woks within the Sol Sector of space. Soon the basic model shall be imported to Earth. We take this step as a response to increasingly Hostile relations with the people of Aelosia, it can be no mistake that they now class us as a hostile neighbour although we have done them no wrong to be treated as such. This then is our response to their own build up some months past. We are as ever commited first and formost to the defence of the people under our care, and this action should be taken as evidence of this facet.

It is our formost hope that the Network never be needed but if it is, then it shall not be found lacking.

However it is in no ones interest to have an arms race, and therefore we call upon the Queen Aelosia to visit us on Mars to discuss what exactly her issues are with teh Yvressi people. We who until your emergence from your sleep had never heard your name, and whose first encounter with you was to discover your hatred of us! We implore you in the name of our previously good relations between our peoples to speak to us, and tell us how we have wronged you to have such a hostile opinion of us.

Ladies and Gentlemen of Mars. We refuse to acknowledge these claims about the supposed belligerency of Aelosia. This is unacceptable defamation, a direct assault upon the honour of Queen Aelosia, an Imperial Ally.

While we have long had relations with Tor Yvresse that could not be described as exceptionally friendly, we have always managed to preserve a semblance of respect in our public discourse, and this shall not change. However, I am forced to formally request an explanation of these outrageous claims by the Yvressi council.

Certainly we shall provide what has been requested. May we first bring to your attention the first occasion we had to see Queen Aelosia in action where she fortified the Border between our Martian assets... Hardly a common occurance between allies, especially when analyists tell us that the amount of forces that where deployed placed their other assets woefully underprotected.

Such moves caught us by the surprise but they where not the last. No we have her own words.... We shall come to them shortly.

Although I must recognize that it was difficult indeed for me to grab my writing feather to finally write this letter, because my hands were balled into fists, I have finally gathered the tranquility I needed. However, even as I prize you as an enemy, and I'm fearless and honest enough to tell you that in a frank, blatant way; after living amongst you for centuries I must realize that the hidden power, knowledge and wisdom of your race must not be understimated.

Please forgive my lacking in your language, I'm afraid my learning lies in other areas.

I have recieved reports of your nation launching a weapons network around Mars. Be relieved, Wazzu recognizes the rights of all nations to have free access to space.

However, one issue concerns me...your satelites seem to be *pointed* at the planet.

I am not cognant as to the nature of your weapons, but I wish to announce my hope that they are not collateral in their nature. The Martian environment and the people who live there have suffered enough such attacks, and I could not let another occur without taking action. I personally believe many in other nations, even yours share this view.

Please take this as a friendly warning from a peace wishing neibor.

In response to your communication, the Satalites that have you concerned (that is the sections of our newly placed network that are not in Geo-Sync Orbit with our own colonies) are merely Hangers containing wings of fighters and Bombers and the direction that they face is merely a whim of the designers of the network. Rest assured that the only direct firing weapons on the Platforms are defensive emplacements to intercept missiles and the like. We would be happy to lay to rest any concerns you might have and invite you to tour any of the Orbiting Platforms at your lesuire. And at your choice of the Platform/Satalite you wish to Tour.

The message was considered too valuable to trust to open communications, but MangalaCorp's courier service was signifigantly quicker then Hermes Spacelines'. It wasn't too terribly long before a Wazzu messenger arrived in the Earth/Luna system with Admiral Foristen's message.

It was certainly a suprise to Admiral West. She expected that if any reply was made, it would be made by a diplomat straight to Earth, bypassing West's supposed 'coup' of the WMDF. Damn the complexities of politics and fascists like Rios. West thought, in contradiction to Wazzu's oppressive beginings.

But the suprise was a plesent one, that it went through an ambassador and straight to a TY military official gave her hope that TY would not recognize Rios' "government reorganization." So West took the time to hand write a letter back to her commrade in arms.


Admiral Foristen,

I was pleased to recieve your letter, and relieved by your words. They inspire a trust in me that does not require inspection of your network. But perhaps that invitation may serve another useful purpose.

Relations between our nations have generally been strained. It would be a shamefull waste to throw away any contact that might lead to better co-existance. Perhaps when events both inside Wazzu, and those we are both contending with internationally calm down, we can exchange tours and discuss easier relations, if not attempting a national friendship.

Samara fumed. "Who the hell writes that kind of thing?" she ranted, stomping along the corridors of the viceregal palace, more of a town hall really, "I hate you. Here's some evidence to use against me?"

She was most displeased by this letter, it meant that any effort to continue to goad the Yvressi would simply seem pathetic. She'd definately lost this round in the endless war of words. Infuriating.

Statement issues by the Council of Tor Yvresse

'Now that the Martian elements are in place the second stage of the Badbaltrias Network shall begin, as can be seen from the images presented here...'

Cut to the same scene as before a Large Station being towed towards Earth from the Martian Asteroid Base, slighlt different from before however is that the support stations are also being towed into place, and that there are more of them roughly it would appear 25 to the Station rather than the Ten to each station around Mars.


As before the central part of this network shall be placed in GeoSync abort around earth, more exactly above our territorial asset on Earth. The rest of the satalities shall orbit earth, to extend the network across as much of the planet as possible.

the Station and network are under the direct command of Admiral Eldansal any queries about the station should be directed to him.

One problem though. West has defected (Murder, Death, Discord thread). She is at Corsica station near Jupiter at the moment. Not sure how you want to play that off (or if you do).

Earth Orbit, Satalitie 13, 'Sword of the Ancestors'

The office was small, containing little more than desl, behind it was sat a non-dexcript Eldar, at work checking requistion orders, and other small details for what was essentially a military outpost of the Kionash. in contact with the bases small Infinity Matrix, his reports where being immediatly sent on up the chain of command to his immediate supperior the Admiral.

They where ready to begin the first excercise. The purpose to simulate a surprise invasion of an unnamed enemy nation. The Badbaltrias network was vital for this purpose. Now was too see if they could truely launch a surprise attack, and hold off any counter attack long enough for Fleet Assets to move into reinforce the Network. Therefore it had been estimated that the Asuryan Fleet would have to be no closer than three hours away when the attack was first launched, any closer and it would act as a clue as to their intentions, any further and it would place the Network under unneccersary risk. It was time to test this theory out.

For the purposes of the Simulation the Third Khaines Fleet had been given the role of defending fleet. Now came the 'attack'. As scores of vessels departed the Network and headed down onto the surface, to 'Force' Landings on their Island base. Here the Secret of the Network could be seen by any orbiting spy satalites of ocurse, as from out of the Craft poured ground troops, Tanks, everything that would be needed by an expeditionary force of the Kionash... Including Seers who began to simulate the establishment of Web-Wey entrances.

The sting had been that no troops had been seen loaded onto the Satalites or the main Station, no warning of the preparations had been given, for the troops had came through the Web...

Now the defence of the Network began in earnest, as one after another the smaller stalites where marked as destroyed, unable to defend themselves, the Main Spire held strong, and now the landing craft returned to aid in the defence of the network...

Three Hours Later the time for the Asuryan fleets arrival had came, and the Network was decleared still standing, in the excercise the estimated damage to the Satalites was Total, the Spire badly damaged...

But the Expeditionary forces had secured a Beach head, and the invasion was officially decleared as having begun...

It was ready the surprise death

.The news of the extending of the Badbaltrilas Network was not taken well by Teritoran Space Forces High Command especially with its satellite hangers, it was also an excuse to update the Teritoran Orbital Network and get the orbital command center updated with new equipment and weaponry as well as update the rest of the earth and Dora sector defenses and beyond to the Teritoran Systems across the board while they were at it. With vast groups of pirate the size of some nations like the Zoir Warlords, the Fractional Tordorans in space and other hazzards in space nothing was better than to be prepared.
