Roman Catholic Militants Terrorize Reichskamphen and Greater Prussia!

(OOC: This is Reichskamphen and I have returned to the game for anyone who cares.)

IC:
*Release to governments of all nations*

After the appointment of staunchly Protestant Dr. Ian R.K. Paisley to the throne of Greater Prussia, Roman Catholic militants have been working to undermine the efforts of the crown and the Greater Prussian Empire.

Dr. Paisley has promised to uphold the traditions of Biblical Protestantism and to fight against the apostacy of the world, wherever it may come from, especially if it comes from Romanism, Paganism, and Mohammadanism.

While he guaranteed religious freedom to all practicing Catholics in the Empire, this does nothing for the two lead nations of the Empire, Reichskamphen and Russapovia, where Catholicism is illeagal and the penalty for administering or being present at a Mass is death.

Foreign fighters from other nations in Greater Prussia, as well, as it is suspected, from other nations beyond its borders, have entered Reichskamphen and Russapovia with the intent to harm and destroy whatever is necessary.

While some laws may not be agreeable to all parties, there is no excuse for terrorism of the sort being carried out by these Papist extremists.

In Reichsburg, the capitol of Reichskamphen, a carbomb exploded killing 11 people, including a mother and her unborn son. In Magdeburg, Capitol of the former nation of Scotta, now absorbed (for RP purposes, since Scotta no longer exists) into Russapovia, two gunmen opened up on church goers as they exited Dr. Paisley's own former Church. These are just two in a string of attacks that have claimed over 500 lives.

Protests were made for the government to do something, and so it has. Emperor Paisley has declared an all out war on the militant Romanists and has ordered that each and every one of them must be killed or captured to await trial. To this end, 1000 Security Service troops from Jedi Revolutionists, and 1000 troops from the Protestant Prussian Czardom of Derscon have aided the Emperor in weeding out the extremists from his own backyard. The Royal Army of Reichskamphen itself has now completely mobilized and is hunting down the militants.

This is not another case of people simply wanting to kill Catholics. We are only hunting for the militants involved in these attacks.

We ask for any help available in stamping out these terrorists. God be with you all.

His Emminance,

Andre-Allistaire von Katrineburg

To All Fellow Catholics, I ask you, with the grace and will of God, as his living word and devout follower of the pope, to end these violent acts of terrorism. This does not mean I ask you to surrender to this cruel, inhuman and devilish act, in fact I encourage you to protest, to take to the streets, and to demonstrate...peacefully. We should never harm the innocent, and leave the judgement of the guilty to our Lord God. By using peaceful demonstrations we shall overcome this brutal oppression.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
May God Bless You. Go in Peace.

Reply to Agrigentian Catholic Church by the head of the Catholic Militants:

The Pope can't help us here! His Holiness cannot see the evil here we are fighting against! Like the Israelites, we too must take to arms for our Promised Land! Like David, we must strike down the proud Golliath sitting on the throne! These men blaspheme against Mary and against his Holiness the Pope! It is commanded of such people, such heretics, that they be put to death! I am willing to lay down my life for my Lord and Saviour, as are all of my men! We do not seek Martyrdom like the Islamic terrorists, but we will accept it if it is thrust upon us! Go with God.

"May God forgive them." Father Sapienza sighed as he looked on at the mangled and charred corpses of 5 Employees of the Martyrs Memorial Free Presbyterian Chruch in Magdeburg. "Their herecy strikes at the heart of the Chruch like a cancer. They were cut out like cancer." he sighed, trying not to think about the fact that he had just showered with gasoline and burned alive five people eating their lunch in the park. One of the eyes of one of the women had not been consumed by the blaze. The light caught it and it drew his gaze. It was blue. As he looked into it he saw the eyes of douzains of people just like her. They flashed before his mind in rapid succession, chipping at his conscience like cannonballs against a stone fortress wall.

The fortess hasn't fallen.

Sapienza, with his gun hidden in his jacket, walked on, blending in with the crowd who had gathered to view the gruesome spectacle.

"Who in the name of Viktor Leipzig's bloody ghost did this!?" an Imperial Guard Oberst screamed at the crowd. His voice was swallowed by the unctuous murmers rising and falling and consuming all competition. A young Leutnant handed him a Megaphone, he turned it on and said again, "Who did this!?" The crowd got quiet as glances were exchanged by all within it. A moment later the noise resumed. "Fall out, surround everyone here, prepare to shoot if necessary." the Oberst ordered a Hauptman standing infront of an urban assault vehicle. 15 Black Uniformed Imperial Guardsmen surrounded the crowd, locked bayonets, and prepared to fire.

The Oberst spoke over the Megaphone again, "You are now surrounded. Everyone here will line up in a singlefile line and sit down on the pavement. You are not going anywhere. The Leutnant here," he motioned to the young man at his side, "will question you all about what you have seen and heard. If you have any information, I urge you to give it now. Lieing when questioned by an Imperial Guardsmen is an act of disloyalty to the crown and will be punished severely."

The 20 something Leutnant, in his snappy black, silver piped uniform began questioning the people sitting on the pavement. It was summer. The sun was beating down, and a rippled heat was rising from the pavement, permeating everything, and making everyone unlucky enough to be outside miserable. The hairdos of women going back to work had now fallen and sweat poured down the brows of the momentary detainees.

Father Sapienza was second from the last in the line. He was looking frantically for a way out, but he saw no opening, not even a lax guard who he could knock down and break for it. 'A hostage' he thought, 'I have to take a hostage.' He looked at the woman infront of him. She was perfect. On her lapel was a pin with a picture of the new Emperor on it, and sticking out of her purse was a pocket new testament. She was very obviously a Paisleyite. He quickly put on a black head and face mask covering everything but his eyes. In the same motion, he drew a stiletto knife from his boot and his Beretta pistol. Throwing his arm around her neck and threatening it with a knife, he aimed his gun at the guards who had now taken notice of this and had prepared to fire.

"Shoot and she's dead!" Sapienza screamed violently.

The guards held their fire. He backed up, after he made it 100 feet from the guards he yelled back to them. "Here! Take her back!"

He released her. As she ran, tears streaming down her face, he leveled the gun and fired off a round into her head. Immediately the life drained out of her face as her head opened up in a bloody mess. As she fell to the ground like a sack of potatoes, the guards opened fire. Two hand grenades were hurled into the area where he had previously been, both detonating.

"Lets find ourselves a body." the Oberst said.

The soldiers grimly passed the woman's corpse and searched the woods for him or his body.

"There ain't nothing here!" one soldier yelled.

"Herr Oberst! He's gone!" another relayed.

The Oberst slammed his fist on the side of the urban assault vehicle. "Son of a..!"

Dersconian Embassy in Reichskamphen

The Koniglicherschutzsicherheit guards were patrolling the Embassy grounds when they heard the call. the radio gave a breif description of the suspect and the general direction he was heading.

"You six," the head Koniglicherschutzsicherheit on duty said. "Come with me." The Seven Koniglicherschutzsicherheit started walking towards the incident when someone came running by them. The head Koniglicherschutzsicherheit looked at him and saw he fit the description. "STOP!" he yelled, as the seven Koniglicherschutzsicherheit ran after him. The person fired a couple shots back at them, but they all missed.

ON ALL OPEN CHANNELS

This is Imperial Sergeant Rudolf Goering of the Dersconian Koniglicherschutzsicherheit. I think we have the guy who ran off after taking that hostage down by the Presbyterian Chruch! He is heading northbound on foot and just passed the Dersconian Embassy! We are going in after him! Out!

"Great!" Father Sapienza thought. Now the Dersconians are after me.

He turned left and ran off of the path he was previously following, then completely back around towards the park.

He hit the treeline with the Dersconians following closely behind him.

OOC: Going to take a couple liberties with the RP, tell me if you don't like it and I will reverse it, but this is just to show an aspect of the insurgency you might miss otherwise.

IC: The Dersconian officers cautiously entered the woods in the park into which the insurgent had run. But to their astonishment...he had totally disappeared.

He breathed as quietly as he could. He could hear the boots of the Dersconian troops tramping on the roof of his tunnel. After about an hour they left. He then came out, and began to look for a taxi. A large KDF Wagen pulled up so he flagged it down and got in.

"Where to?" the driver asked.

"To the Magdeburg Memorial Forest." Sapienza responded.

"Which one?"

"The one just outside of town, to the north."

"Gotcha."

They drove off.

"Damn, we lost him," the one officer said. They searched every nook and cranny and came up with nothing. "Shit, it has been over an hour." THe Officer chucked a rock at a tree in anger. "Might as well head back to the Embassy."

We graciously decline to be a part of this nonsense. Our stance on organised religion is being proven here. When will you fools stop killing each other in the name of god?! You both worship the same deity for christ's sake! so what if one side wears condoms and the other does not? We were raised catholic and is the pervaiding religion in our nation 90%. But we embrace other religions and refuse to fight a christian holy war against other christians. Good day and call on us when you all have come to your senses.

We are not fighting a Holy War. We are fighting a war against terrorists who happen to be fighting us for religious reasons. Our reasons for fighting are for national security. We would gladly have been willing to talk about these laws and thier grievances if they had taken to the negociation table instead of to their arms. But there can be no negociations with terrorists, and there is no person within Reichskamphen capable of formally representing the Catholic terrorists in a Sinn Fein type of way. Even so, I will not negociate with terrorists. If any third party wishes to represent the interests of Catholics within my nation, I will be happy to speak with them. But until such time. I will continue.

God be with you all.

Rev. Kyle Paisley walked up to his father, seated in his office, staring out of his window high above the streets of Reichsburg, the restored Capitol of the Triune Kingdom. "Dad, I have something to say, and it may not sound very nice or Christian." Kyle said softly.

"Go on, son." Paisley mumbled in his thick Northern Irish accent.

"What the hell were you thinking?"

"What?"

"You basically invited someone to mediate for these Papists, these terrorists, these lost souls."

"Oh, that." the Emperor Paisley sighed. "Yes, well I just figured, maybe we should atleast talk with them."

"When have we ever talked with these Romanists or their organizations and representatives!?" Kyle shot back. "This wreaks of COMPROMISE!" Kyle shouted. "You cannot compromise the word of God for Politics!"

Paisley collapsed in his chair, realizing what he had done. He pulled his hands violently through his hair, scattering the thin white whisps all about his head. For the first time it hit him. 'I am over 80 years old. How can I expect to be the Emperor of a land 1000s of times larger than old Ireland, when I can't even keep Reichskamphen itself safe.'

"Dad." Kyle said calmly. "We all make mistakes. Now we have to do the best we can to reverse this one."

"What harm would it do to see them and just find their demands unacceptable?" Paisley asked, then instantly realized it himself. "It would make it look like I am talking with Rome."

"You said it yourself, Dad. Fundamentalism and Apostacy DO NOT DIALOGUE! We must contend with them. But...if you don't speak to someone about them now after you made that offer, then world opinion will turn against us."

"Who cares about world opinion! As long as we are doing the Lord's work it is his opinion about which I am concerned." Paisley shouted, feeling as he did in the old days.

"Along with their world opinion, armies could turn against us. Wars have begun for much less, and I don't know about yoiu but I am not ready to go to War over this and lose Christian lives."

"CHRISTIAN LIVES ARE ALREADY BEING LOST!" Paisley slammed his fist on the desk.

Kyle remained calm. "But now they are being lost 10 here and there. If a war starts, millions could fall."

"Then...we must see them." Paisley looked at the floor. He looked at the fibers in the carpet. He could swear he saw the Pope's face roughly made out in the strands. He knew it was time to get some sleep.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thankyou for your offer to mediate. We will accept on one condition, that the mediator not be an official of the Roman Catholic Church or be on its payroll or connected with it in any way other than perhaps as a paritioner. Normally such a meeting would be administered by the Religious Troika, which consists of Imam Ilbrahim Al-Housad, the most revered and respected Muslim cleric in the nation, Rabbi Avi Jakob, one of the most well known Jewish leaders, and myself, representing both Catholicism and Christianity as a whole. However if this is unacceptable I will speak directly the Agrigentian Government about a diplomat to handle such proceedings directly.

Understanding the delicacy in this situation, and the potential for loss of life, the Republic of Agrigento offers its hand in unbiased mediation. It is in our interests to preserve peace and prevent the death of innocents and combatants alike. While wishing to remain neutral and to separate both the affairs of the Republic from those of the various churches involved, we will send, upon your approval, the very highly respected Sgr. Roberto DePartenza, diplomatic attaché to the ANH and Presidential advisor. While he himself is a practicing Roman Catholic it is guaranteed by this Government that he will conduct himself in the interests of neutrality and will not favor any side in this conflict.

It was a sad day for the citizens of Cav. Being a devoutly Catholic nation, they could sympathize for the me fighting the religious oppression in the head of Greater Prussia. However, they had crossed the line when they started targeting innocent civilians. Emperor Cav has called for the immediate excommunication of all terrorists from the Faith. It will distance us from these horrible groups, and it will allow our citizens to rally against them. We are all members of Greater Prussia now, and Cav will take its place in the ranks.

We offer to send 10 teams of 15 men each, in order to help in tracking down those who kill the innocent in the name of religion. We can send them almost immediately, assisted by a small helicopter force.

Cav will also grant asylum to practicing Catholics that wish to flee the practices of Reichskamphen and Russapovia. You will be welcome to practice Catholicism, we will greet you with open arms. We will in no way, however, harbor terrorists, no matter whose name they kill for. That is our stern policy. Any terrorists caught in Cav will be extradited to the country in which they committed crimes.
Agrigento
21-07-2004, 06:46
We would like to commend the nation of Cav for its attempts to defuse this situation by providing a safe place for people of all denominations to practice their religions freely. However we feel that its failure to forgive and allow the practicing "terrorists" to repent is lacking and contrary to central Roman Catholic beleifs. We must remind them that one man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter. While it is the stance of this country that terrorists are indeed enemies worthy of such treatment, it is not the stance of this Catholic Church. We find that these citizens have taken arms against an unjust oppression and have in fact only utilized their God-given right to reform their government. While we are appalled at the violent methods they used, we find that every person is worthy of forgiveness.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

OOC: Yes, there is. No one knows Sapienza is even in the country. He is a foreigner who landed on the beaches and came ashore. You can get in contact with him or send a message out to any part of the Terrorist network. There is an old burned out Catholic Church atop a cliff on the shores of Reichskamphen. It is from there that they move into the village below and steal supplies from ships, and or pick up supplies they have purchased. Speak to the KDF Motor Works. A shipment of armoured KDF Wagens will come into the harbour supposedly for private security forces in the area, but terrorists will pick them up. Have a man onboard and you are set.

IC: Thankyou for your time and effort. I assure you that I shall listen to your requests and consider them thoroughly. I look forward to meeting with you.

Rev. Ian R.K. Paisley

----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the best solution that I can see, the one that Cav has offered. We are prepared to offer an amnesty period of two days to all Roman Catholics who wish to leave and have not committed or supported acts of terrorism. In those two days, these Catholics are to approach proper authorities, claim themselves as Catholic, and turn themselves over to the Royal Army of Reichskamphen. From that point on until they leave leave the country up to two days later, they will be under the protection of the Royal Army and will not be harmed. All remaining after those two days will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

The President of USRWC, Jason M Conners, had just settled into his chair in the library of the Presidential House and had begun reading a book, when his Secretary of State, Alexander Burton, and Secretary of Defense, Joseph Hannover, strode into the room.

SOS Burton: We need to speak Mr. President, there seems to be a...situation developing within Greater Prussia...particularly against the nation of Reichskamphen. Catholic Terrorists have been planning and carrying out assaults against civilians in an attempt to overthrow the Governments stance on Catholicism. I know you stood behind Reichskamphen during your campaign and even endorsed Reverend Paisley as a great leader. But it seems now that it may not be in our best interest to involve ourselves. We are a relatively small nation Sir, and with all due respect to the armed forces....are not capable of dealing with an Insurgency.

President Conners: Well Mr. Burton, you have me at a loss of words....Mr. Hannover, what are the exact death tolls and reports from Reichskamphen? I'd like very much to read over them before deciding the risk.

SOD Hannover: Well sir, it seems that over 500 have been killed within Reichskamphen and currently there are outside mediators attempting to diffuse the situation between Catholics and Protestants. My concern for you right now Sir, is whether or not you're at possibility for being a tar..

President Conners: A target? I could care less for the convictions of a terrorist. Get me those reports Mr Hannover, and Mr. Burton I want you to send a diplomatic team to help Reichskamphen, and any other nation, to deal with this problem.

SOD and SOS: Right away Mr. President.

Hannover quickly left the library, sometimes feeling dumbstruck at the swift resolutions that the President comes too, a fault he considered it to be..but the Reports were of priority and he left to get them.

Burton left for his office in the North Wing, his mind full of thoughts on how a President of such a small nation, could risk his citizens by involving himself with the targets of a Terrorist Insurgency.....

OOC: Hopefully this wasn't too long, if you see any mistakes please let me know! It's been such a long time since I have RP'd Forum style.

"Alright, in and out, nothing fancy." a man in a black hood said.

"Ja wohl herr Oberst!" the men responded.

The man in the hood moved frantically to quiet them down. "Don't salute, and don't call me that!"

The men hustled aboard the ship. A few sailors quietly helped them unload the KDF Wagens and placed several wooden crates in the backs of the wagens.

Suddenly a man stepped out of the shadows, all of the men pulled their weapons instinctively and aimed for the figure.

"Werr da!?" The man in the hood shouted. 'Who goes there!?"

Russapovian/Dersconian Border 12:52 am
--------------------------

Security had been bolstered on both sides of the border. The insurgency had meant that every single patrolling officer in the Greater Prussian Empire was relatively high-strung.

Just below the border guards feet, seven men crawled low to the ground in crudely dug tunnel.

"Licht aus." one whispered. The man behind him in the tunnel then handed him his lantern. One of the railroad ties used to bolster the roof of the tunnel appeared cracked. "Das ist gut."

He unloaded the large backpack strapped upon him and laid it on the ground. Unzipping it, he revealed several douzain sticks of dynamite. He attached them to the roof of the tunnel at the exact spot where the map said the large guard bunker on the border was. After a remote detonator was attached, they crawled on.

They reached the end of the tunnel. All seven men crawled out about 200 yards away from the spotlights of the border patrol. The man who had placed the explosives then hit the remote detonator. The bunker and the wall exploded in a violent ball of flame sending chunks of concrete and mangled flesh flying into the air. A huge chunk was taken out of the base of the guard tower on the Dersconian side it began to quake and finally toppled to the ground with all the guards inside it.

The spotlights turned towards the explosion and all remaining guards ran towards the site of the gruesome blast to help unentangle their surviving comrades. Using this distraction, the seven men escaped into the woodsline and set about their task, all seven men split up and began to head to differant parts of the country.

President Conners sat at his desk within the Presidential Office reading page after page of the reports coming from Reichskamphen. He looked out the window to the side and noticed that he had spent the night reading the whole reports, and now the sun was beginning to rise.

President Conners: Have I really spent all night reading these reports of death and treachery?

He leaned foward and grabbed the phone from it's base, dialing Secretary of Defense Hannover's Chamber....

Conners: Hannover, these reports...I cannot stand by and watch an ally deal with such disgusting tactics...we must help in whatever ways possible: whether it be security or sending our own troops in there.

Hannover: Mr. President, these are obviously not amateurs....our involvement could compromise national security, and put the lives of our own citizens, and yourself at risk.

Conners: Hannover...did you not listen to a single word I said? We cannot, and will not stand by. Call for the assembly of the Senate...we're proposing our full involvement in the terrorist problem that is plaguing Greater Prussia.

Hannover: *sighs* Right away sir.

Hannover set down the phone gently and closed his eyes, deeply sighing. Speaking out loud to the empty chamber he sat within:

Hannover: Does this President even seem to care about our image within the world...the region? And what about our National Security....oh well...time to send the announcement for the Senate Gathering.

Dersconian/Russapovian Border

The guard presence was high at the moment, along with the tensions. Although some of the Dersconian guards were having conversations with the Russapovian ones, everyone was nervous, with trigger fingers twitching.

In the woods behind the fence, the machine gun bunkers were going through the daily inspection. The HAAV Warthogs were driving up and down the area. The guard towers -- some with snipers, some with machine guns, some with antimateriel rifles, but all with spotlights -- were reletively quiet.

On the ground, three guards were walking by a patch of bushes. They noticed them rustle and they pointed their weapons at it, but they figured it was just a squirrel, so they moved on. It was a reletively calm night.

In one of the spots in which the bunker complex spikes above ground, the four guards, two at the machine guns, one leaning on the wall, and another sitting in a chair by the two-inch thick steel door, were just relaxing. They knew that none of the Russapovian guards were going to attack, so they just basically sat there. The guard sitting typed in the six didget code, and opened the steel door. He trodded down the hallway, heading about a story and a half underground in the process. He walked down the hallway a bit more, coming to about four stories underground, he turned left. When he came across a door that stretched about two stories high and about thirty feet across, he slid his keycard in the slot, and thelight turned green. The giant blast doors opened, first the four-inch-think reinforced titanium outer doors, then the three-inch-thick fire/bulletproof glass inner doors (with frames), and then the steel grating lifted up, allowing him free passage into one of the border garages. Loads of M1A1 Abrams tanks belonging to the Dersconi Waffen SS Homeland Security Corps One were lined up in their slots, as well as hundreds of Warthogs, Bradley's, and a couple Vulcans. He noticed that the blast doors heading to the surface were open at the time. They took you just to the other edge of the forest. The blast doors to the Transnational Tunnel Complex was closed, though. The TNT Complex was a series of tunnels that connected all of the military bases in Derscon, and even went as far as connecting Dersconi bases in other nations. Hundreds of Dersconi Waffen SS soldiers were getting ready to cross the border to aid in the antiterrorist forces in Russapovia, so he had to go through the bustling of soldiers just to get a coffee. God, I hate night shift, the soldier thought.

He turned around and looked at the opening. Shit, I forgot to close the blast doors.

Back at where he came from, the guard at the machine gun yawned. "Ugh," he said, still yawning. "I hate the night shift." He turned around. "Damnit! He forgot to shut the door." He left the machine gun to shut the door, but he never made it.

BOOM!

The bunker was blown sky high, and the alarms immediately went off. The flames went all over the place, but they found the open door, and decided to explore.

Back at the garage, the soldier was walking toward the blast door when the alarms started going off. He walked a bit faster to hurry and shut the blast doors, as was protocool when the alarms went off. The troops mounted the Warthogs and the tanks and started to head topside to ward off any enemy forces, and some other warthogs went zooming out of the other open blast door to patrol the complex and head topside in different locales.
The soldier pressed the button to close the blast doors, and held it until the gate dropped. He then turned the little key to close the rest of the blast doors, when he looked up. He saw a rush of fire come at him at a fast speed, looking for more oxygen.

"HOLY SH-------" the soldier screamed before he was cut off by being enveloped by the fire. The fire hit two other warthogs that blew up, until the inner doors finally closed. The sprinkler system automatically went off, and all the blast doors in the sector were shut. The fire eventually died from lack of oxygen and no fuel.

In the woods, the guards patrolling and at the machine guns heard the the alarms. THey knew the protocool, too -- anyone that is not in a Dersconi uniform, shoot until dead. THe machine gunners saw movement in the trees. He motioned to the area, and thirty guards swarmed the entrance of the woods where the movement was seen. All the machine gunner could hear was "STOP!" and then gunfire. He switched on his night vision, and opened fire with his Browning M2 .50 calibre mounted machine gun.

Three men were clearly visible to the shooters. They waved their hands for the gunmen to stop, but it was too late. A .50 caliber machinegun tore through all three of them like a hot knife through butter.

As the Dersconian officers approached the bodies of the three men, it became at once very clear that they were wearing gray, more specifically...gray uniforms.

"These men are soldiers from Reichskamphen!" the head Dersconian Guard shouted. The medical officers rushed to tend to them. All but one was dead, and he was barely clinging to life.

"We were kidnapped..." the fallen solider struggled to speak. "They turned us loose...Catholics...trap...trap..." he gasped for air his pupils dialating and eyes widening. His head then fell limp and pulse fell to zero as he went into Glory.

"Trap?" the lead Dersconian officer said. "What trap, for them or for us?"

His question was soon answered. The 10 sticks of dynamite concealed under the now dead soldiers uniform was connected to a pocket size heart monitor. Five seconds after his pulse fell to zero, the bomb went off. Entire trees burst into splinters. Small fires dotted the forest floor and charred remains were strewn about everywhere.

OOC: Derscon will be at the beach for 10 days so his assets are frozen and protected.

IC: Ian Paisley sat in his office, pressing his fingertips together beneath his chin, listening to the most grim daily intel briefing since his ascention.

"It seems," said the aging Count von Magdeburg, hero of the Second Scottan War, "that the insurgency has spread to Derscon. We are recieving reports of terrorist cells forming there and gaining support after the attack on the border and the escape of an unknown number of Catholic militants accross the border. We are unsure if it has spread any further than that, but our best guess is yes."

"Well, where are they getting supplied from, they have to be getting their stuff from somewhere." Paisley scratched his head, a momentary itch.

Magdeburg paused, "Well, we suspect that some supplies are coming in through smuggling operations at Kamphstadt. Other than that, it's anybody's guess."

"Hrm...I want Royal Guard in plain clothes on the Docks of Kamphstadt 24/7. Find them some employment with companies or something. Make it inconspicuous. I want any smugglers to be shot on sight." Paisley ordered.

"Ja Vohl Mein Kaiser!" Magdeburg popped to attention and saluted.

As the Senators, the President, the Vice president, the Secretary of State, and the Secretary of Defense were just beginning their debate on whether it is neccessary for USRWC to become involved at all with the recent insurgent attacks, just four blocks away in the heart of the Capital of Conspiratoria D.C., a beige early model Conspira Van was driving slowly down the street, the windows were tinted, and the back of the van seemed to sag a bit, as if it were carrying a heavy load.

The van came to a stop at the intersection, although the light was green. Many of the Business Men and Women looked at the van awkwardly and kept on their way. Suddenly the back doors of the van burst open and several armed men in masks piled out into the intersection, rounding up a group of people and marching them next to the van.

The shaken faces, many with tears streaming down their pale cheeks, the sobs echoing out as screams echoed through out the city. For that one moment, it seemed that the world had stopped and time froze.

The armed men lined up a group of 38 people and began to chant in Latin:
"Nex ut protestor quod calvinist humus"*

A few of the men and women in the group began to cry out "I'm a Catholic! Let me go! Please!!" their fear was obvious, and the terrorists seemed to thrive from it.

"Nex ut protestor quod calvinist humus! May Deus offendo super vos , quod may vos exuro in abyssus."**

Then in unison the clicking sound of safety's being thrown off, echoed louder than the screams and crying, Sirens were heard in the background as the sounds of the Automatic Weapons tore into the flesh of the people, blood splattering over the fan and flooding into the streets. After 10 seconds of massacre, the men piled into the van again and sped off, obviously having planned a secure escape route from the Capital.

The Holy Empire has set up a refugee camp at Hapsburg AFB. All inbound immigrant flights will be directed to the base, and it will help us register our new citizens, as well as screening for potential terrorists. We also are providing helicopter flights from the border for those traveling by land.

Meanwhile, we have positioned our forces to move into Russapovia/Derscon, and we have a carrier prepared to deliver them. MH-53s and their Apache escorts are awaiting final confirmation from Russapovia to enter their airspace. Unconfirmed reports are flowing in that the fighting has moved into Derscon, and something major happened on the border last night. General John Ryan would like to move things quickly, and the sooner we have airspace clearance, the sooner we can help put an end to this terrorism.

GeneralFeldMarschall Count Friederich von Magdeburg
C-in-C Royal Armies of the Triune Kingdom

-----------------------------------------------------------------

To: President of Right Wing Conspirators
From: Rev. Dr. Ian R.K. Paisley

Thankyou for your support in defeating these Papist terrorists. Terrorism is abominable and should be stamped out by any means necessary. I also pass along my condolences for the attack that took place in your Capitol. I wish to assure your people that they will recieve Justice, God will vindicate them. Peace and Grace.

To: Head of Agrigentan Catholic Church
From: Count Andre-Allistaire von Katrineburg

I have been placed in charge of the diplomatic process concerning the rights of Roman Catholics by his Majesty, the Emperor himself. I intend to be fair and even handed in this matter. To be frank, it may be a better situation for you than it would have been to speak with the Emperor himself for he has given me full authorization to take whatever action I deem necessary pertaining to the matter.

A group of 15 Guards will be allowed. Your security force will be augmented by the Royal Guard, as many men as you request will be at your disposal.

God be with you.

His Emminence,
Count Andre-Allistaire von Katrineburg

"Now is the time" Emperor Paisley said in a soft voice, "to put my foot down."
He took a sip from his glass of water. He had sworn off alcohol. "Kyle, do you remember the name of that General who Viktor Imprisoned for Crimes against humanity in dealing with the insurgents?"

"Yes." Kyle Paisley responded, "General Count Helmut von Herzenstein. He burned down an entire village after his men were caught in an ambush by citizens there opposing the crown."

"Get Magdeburg in here." Paisley said.

Kyle picked up the phone, called Magdeburgs office and asked him to immediately report to the Imperial Study. A few minutes later, the 70 something old man, dressed in a Republican Guard unifrom from the days Joseph Thompson's Protectorate, walked through the door.

"Can I be of service?" Magdeburg asked.

"Yes, I want you to free General Count Helmut von Herzenstein from the Old Capitol Prison, destroy all records of his actions, reinstate him in the military, and promote him to the rank of GeneralFeldMarschall overseeing the elimination of terrorists from the Greater Prussian Reich. Anyone who knows anything about his past, I want them silenced any way you deem necessary."

Magdeburg smiled a little, delighted that finally there was an Emperor of the throne with some Backbone. "Ja Wohl mein Kaiser." He bowed and exited the room.

"That ought to even the playing field." Paisley muttered darkly.

This is understood. It seems to me illogical that the Catholic Terrorists would fight someone petitioning for their cause, so I doubt your diplomat will be in any danger. But just to be on the safe side. He will be escorted by 100 Royal Guardsmen and everywhere he goes he will go in a convoy which will include no less than 5 Reichsfuhrer XXI-g Main Battle Tanks. The streets in the Triune Kingdom are designed to handle tank traffic as well. So this should be no problem.

He shall be arriving at Reichsburg Internation Airport. We will send 5 jets from the Imperial Luftwaffe to escort his plane through our airspace.

There was a tense pause while the lead terrorist thought it over. Trigger fingers were getting slippery and nerves were stretched to breaking.

"Very well." he lowered his gun, causing the rest of the guns to be lowered. "As soon as we get this unloaded, we will take you back to HeadQuarters."

A few hours later a KubelWagen with the head terrorist, two gunmen, and the mysterious gentlemen arrived on the outskirts of Reichsburg.

They blindfolded the representative and led him into the woods, about a mile or so in, they took off his blindfold and opened a hatch in the forrest floor. It was almost impossible to notice and when stepped on, sounded just like the forrest floor. They all lowered themselves down and a labyrinth of underground tunnels spread out before them. They were reinforced in concrete with full lighting and even a modern surveillance and computer system.

"My son. Welcome back. How was the haul?" a man, leaning against a computer panel said. "It was just wonderful Father. We have here a gentleman who says he is from the organization responsible for the insurgencies in Kecha and Cyberutopia. He says he wishes to offer us help."

"Interesting." the man mused then said, "Oberst, please leave us."

The lead terrorist turned and left. Now it was just the two of them.

"I am Father Sapienza, Head of the Armies of the Virgin's Son. I believe there is someone else you should meet too. He led the fellow off into a dark chamber. Visible was a red glowing cigar tip, and smoke wafting into the air. Obviously a very good cigar. A dark outline of a man in a military officers hat could be made out, sitting behind a desk, but none of his features were readily visible (OOC: Lets keep him a mystery for now, so no night vision or cameras or whatnot).

"I hear you want to help us. You're from Belem eh?" the man in the dark said.

OOC: Insert representatives reaction.

"Oh, please, I was there. I was in Kecha. I was under the employment of your Inquisition. Foreign fighters are much more expendible than your own men, so they were all too eager to hire me." (OOC: I know its a leap, but lets just run with it unless you really hate it)

He took a long puff of his Cigar.

"So what can you offer. We would be most grateful for anything we can get. This is an uphill battle, but we can win it."

General Frost was in the CIC when they got permission to enter foreign soil. He made the radio announcement to his men, and they were to meet him on the deck in 10 minutes, ready to go. They did, and he walked up to the podium that had been set up for him.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, you are about to embark on a mission that you may have some reservations about. If you do, rest assured that these men you are fighting are no more Catholic than Buddah. They have all been excommunicated by The Emperor, and we will take great lengths to ensure the safety of the true Catholics of that nation.

"You will notice that we have added the Catholic Cross to your uniforms. Our aim is to confuse your opponent for a short amount of time, giving you the advantage to pull the trigger before they do. If they soon figure this out, you are allowed to remove the Cross, but you must not deface the patch. Bring it with you, carry it as a sign of faith."

He nodded at the helicopters to start their engines. Over the slowly rising roar of blades, he made his final statement. "May God be with you all."

*************
Major Joe Cannon sat on the MH-53 as it lifted off the carrier deck. He was leading this mission, and he hoped it would be a short one. He hadn't seen combat since he was a platoon commander in the Higeran war, and now he was the head of this special operation.

"Alright guys, listen up. We're gonna split into teams and comb this area here," he said pointing at a map. "The Apaches will hover around the area providing cover, but if we get into some thick brush, we've only got ourselves. Now, there will be some friendlies in the area. We'll be in contact with them on the radio, but if you haven't been informed of their location, shoot first and ask later. And if somebody starts shooting at you, you shoot back until they stop. Understood?"

"Hoo-ah!" was the men's reply.

"Good. Now get ready, we're about to touch down."

The MH-53s in the group landed on the Russapovian side of the border. The Apaches would establish circular patrols around the groups and operate there until called upon.

Cannon stepped out, MP5 in hand, and started moving his group towards the border. He ordered the others to fan out and get to their first location. Hopefully they'd meet up with the other special forces groups in the area. The radiomen in each squad were trying to reach the friendlies in the area and inform them of their position using the pre-arranged codewords.

They sent out a signal and hoped it would be picked up.

President Conners paced back and forth in the War Room of the Presidential Residence,

"Hannover, HOW did they get in here? And HOW did they get away? And WHY weren't the intelligence and defense agencies on top of this? Knowing that there were terrorists active in this region, why weren't our border patrols increased? Why didn't you put the Intelligence Board on this? Huh? Now we've got...38 INNOCENT citizens dead...and no terrorists to bring forth to be punished. Hannover...if we weren't about to enter a time where I and the country needed your expertise...I swear I'd fire you. I want a Full Report on what happened, and our strategy for upping security around here." His firm and apparently furious voice echoed in the room.

Hannover hung his head, his face flushed with anger and humiliation "Well....Mr. President I'm not exactly sure why, and if you need my expertise..I recommend you back off with the job threats. I'll have those reports for you ASAP...good day Mr. President."

The furious Secretary of Defense stormed out of the War Room, just as the RWC Presidential House's Media Head walked in..."Mr. President, I believe it be of the utmost importance for you to address the nation, possibly within the next few hours."

IC: This is GPNN, Greater Prussian News Network

This is an address from the Emperor of Greater Prussia,
Rev. Ian R.K. Paisley.

*The Camera pans in on the Trisword Flag of the Kingdom superimposed upon the Christian Standard for the Greater Prussian Empire. The flags faded away and the Camera zoomed in on a podium where Rev. Paisley was preparing to address the Empire. On the front of the Podium was the Flag of the Imperial Family. A White field with a yellow diagonal stripe, four bees on the stripe, and VL for Viktor Leipzig in the centre of the Flag. The camera zoomed in for a closeup of Rev. Paisley, who appeared more determined than ever.*

"Citizens of the Empire," Paisley began, "For the past two weeks we have been suffering under the yolk of Roman Catholic Terrorism. It has now taken the lives of over 600 Triune Kingdom Civilians and Soldiers, Douzains of Dersconain Soliders, and most recently 38 Civilians in the Republic of RightWing Conspirators. Now, we are in grief, but in time, enemies of our respective administrations will begin to raise questions; 'Who knew what and when?'. I come to you today to answer those questions and others as best as I can.

The first time I personally knew anything of a terrorist threat was when the first carbomb exploded in downtown Magdeburg at Lunch hour, killing 42 innocent civilians. Figures coming in from intelligence agencies showed a large spike in the number of practicing Roman Catholics in the Kingdom. I considered this odd for a nation that outlaws it, but while I despise the Roman system, I also am a proponant of Religious freedom. It is for this reason that I gave the order not to clamp down on the problem. We assumed that perhaps some missionaries had infiltrated the country and began winning inconstant hearts for their side, but it now seems that a large part of this was due to Foreign insurgents.

In the Empire we have a policy of religious tollerance and freedom for all nominally Christian nations, so for this reason, I simply passed along the reports to other interested leaders of the Empire and let things continue as they always had. It was infact my previous intention to remove the ban on Catholicism for the interests of Relgious freedom, but now, this is an action I cannot take. The blood of our people is on their hands, and I will not give them one ounce of what they want. I see now that I was wrong to wish to give this freedom, for some people simply cannot be trusted with it.

I would also like to assure the people of RightWing Conspirators that this was not a predicted situation. Had I, or my good friend President Connors known for an instant that anything like this was going to happen, we would have done everything in our power to stop it. But it is alas, too late for that. Our soil is now drenched in the blood of the innocent, drawn by murderers who cling to a false and evil ideology that makes it acceptable for them to kill in the name of our Lord. There is nothing more abominable to God or his son, than for men to draw blood unjustly for their names.

Some have even questioned about the involvement of the Vatican in this terrorist spike. I can assure you that while the thought did indeed cross my own mind, intelligence seems to say otherwise. I sent a letter just the other day to the Pope in "Holy"Vatican See asking for his condemnation of the terrorism. He has so far refused to comment officially, only telling me that the Church has never supported such things. I pointed out to his "holiness" that while he may call Protestants his "separated bretheren", his predecessors were want to separate their bretherens' heads from their bodies!
I would also like to point out to the Pope of Rome, a little thing called the Inquisition where millions were killed, including God's Martyrs, the Waldenses who stood for Biblical Christianity in the face of Corruption. What about the 30 years war? And there has always been complicity with the IRA in the lower levels of the Church. I have always suspected though, but not been able to prove, that the complicity runs much higher. So while I cannot officially say that there is any complicity with this terrorism on the part of the Vatican, intelligence seems to suggest that there is involvement with it in the lower levels of the Church in the Greater Prussian Empire, maybe even as high up as an Arch Bishop or Cardinal. So I exhort you all to watch carefully for any suspicious activity and report it immediately to your local Gendarmes or Constables, or the Imperial Guard Office near you.

Before I finish though, I would like to thank the nations of the Greater Prussian Empire, especially the Nation of Cav who mobilized despite the fact that it was a Catholic nation. I applaud anyone who can see through labels to the deadly threat that is posed by this terrorism. I would also like to thank the Senate and Government of Right Wing Conspirators for coming to the aide of the Empire as well as The Protestant Prussian Czardom of Derscon.

I will now close with a Prayer." He bowed his head.

"Heavenly Father, we beseech thee to watch over, this our Great Nation. That we may serve thee with all of our capacity in every thing we do. That the evil that blights us now may be soon washed away.

We also Pray for our troops as they march now into battle against the enemies of your Crown and Covenant, may you watch over them and protect them that they may return home to their families and loved ones. We also pray for the families of those who have already lost fathers, brothers, mothers, cousins, and all other types of loved ones due to these horrendous attacks. May you comfort them in their darkest hour and see their hearts through to the victory, your victory, which is close at hand.

We also pray for those who persecute us. We pray that the unconquerable and unquenchable fire of the Gospel will burn in their hearts and turn them from their wicked ways so that they may serve only you, O Lord.

Now let us Pray as Jesus taught us, together," he paused giving them all a moment. Then the entire room began to pray together, all over the Empire, men, women, children prayed with him infront of the TVs and Radios.

"Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. THY kingdom come, THY will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for THINE is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever, AMEN."

*The Camera faded out.*

IC: Hapsburg AFB, Cav

The stream of Catholics was steady, and the guards were doing their best to keep people moving through the system while still performing a thorough check of their possessions. Presumedly, these people had never seen such a high concentration of soldiers, and certainly none of a foreign type. So it was expected for them to look nervous and unsure of the men, but there was one person who looked... a different kind of nervous. He was dressed the same as everyone else, and he tried to look normal, but there was something about him. A sniper in the guard tower was told to keep an eye on him and life went on.

The man was next in line for entry and looked more nervous than before. The Bureau of Immigration workers were informed of this man, and they were told to be as nice to him as possible and double check for anything fishy.

"Next!"

The Immigration man looked at him for a minute and asked for his papers. The suspicious man put his things down and reached into his pocket for the necessary items. The worker scanned the IDs and waited for the computer to screen his photo with known terrorists and criminals. It turned out clean and he was sent on his way. He thought he was clear and gone, but he'd only taken a few steps when...

"Excuse me, sir," the Immigration man yelled for him. "You're going to need to come back over here."

The man stopped and tensed up. He stood there for a few seconds, like he was deciding what he was going to do. Everything else stopped. Things were quiet.

"Hello?" was the last thing the poor government employee said. The man whipped around and produced an uzi, spraying the computer area with bullets.

"Shit!" the colonel said as he watched this go down on the security monitors. "Take him down, but don't take him out! Keep him alive!"

The sniper aimed for the man's gun-toting arm. He fired one bullet and hit somewhere close to the elbow. The man was throw back by the sudden impact and lost his grip for a moment. The sniper then aimed for the knee and shot right through it. The man fell to the ground.

It was some mess that needed to be cleaned up. There were dead Bureau of Immigration officers everywhere, and almost all of the computer equipment was damaged by the gunfire. It was fine for now though, because most of the crowd had run for their lives away from the area, and wouldn't want to come back for awhile anyway. The problem would be finding and accounting for all of them. Were there others?

The guards ran to the fallen man, kicked his gun aside, and picked him up. An ambulance was on the way to take him to the medical center on the base, where he'd spend some time in an induced coma. Before the ambulance got there, a guard went to the other side of the desk and picked up a briefcase. He threw it at the man, letting it hit him in the chest. "Hey, prick, you forgot something," he said.

The man's expression changed. He was called back to the desk because he forgot his briefcase. And how he'd never walk again because of it. He passed out from the pain.

The base commander sent out a message to Russapovia explaining that they had caught somebody and would return him as soon as medically possible. He sent out a picture of the man with the report, in case they knew who the man was. And if they didn't get the transmission, it would all unfold for them tonight on FoxNewsCav, where it would be the top story.

GeneralFeldmarschall Count Helmut von Herzenstein, the newly appointed commander of the Imperial Gendarmes, the new overarching police organization in control of stopping the terrorism, entered the "Crime Lab" in Magdeburg where unbeknownst to the world he was recently released from Old Capitol Prison after being acquitted of charges of Crimes against Humanity by Imperial Decree.

"FeldMarschall von Herzenstein!" the Gendarme guarding the door exclaimed, causing all to look up from their microscopes and other contrivances, send a knowing glance his way, and then return to their work. Herzenstein paused, obviously dissatisfied with this. "ACHTUNG!" he yelled causing an irritated look from all in the lab before they returned to their work. He grabbed the first scientist he could reach and smacked him accross the face and grabbed him by his lapel. "When I enter a room, I expect ALL to stand at attention! This isn't a crumby little science lab. You are all now members of the Imperial Gendarmes! This is a military organization and I am your superior officer! I expect to be saluted when entering a room and to be addressed as Sir, Herr FeldMarschall, or Herr Count, IS THAT UNDERSTOOD!?" All in the room stood back quaking with terror, not uttering a sound. "I said...Is that Understood!?" A man in the back of the room stuttered out,

"Y-y-y-yyes Herr FeldMarschall."

"Say it louder, all of you!"

"JA WOHL HERR FELDMARSCHALL" they all exclaimed. There was a tense moment of silence. He surveyed the room from corner to corner allowing the experiance to sink in. They were civilians, not ready yet for the enormous responsibility that was about to be laid on their shoulder. It was his job to make them ready. "As you were." he said calmly, as if nothing had happened.

He walked over casually to a table where a scientist was disecting the remains of three of the carbombs. "What do we have?" he asked calmly. The scientist jumped slightly and moved a bit away from him, still shaking a bit. "W-w-w-Well We h-h-have."

"Spit it out, I'm not going to hurt you."

"We have three bombs here, all made, from what I can tell, in the exact same way, from the same types of materials. This tells us that all three Bombs were made by the same person, or by the same group of people. It seems the bombmaker has left a callingcard, or a trademark if you will. He times all of the bombs with childrens timex watches, from what we've reconstructed, while he scratched out the serial numbers on all of the materials used to make the bomb. He seems to have forgotten, or intentionally skipped over scratching out the serial numbers on the watches."

"So," Herzenstein said inquisitively, "we can contact the company and see where they were made and findout what stores they were sent to, perhaps get a rough idea of the location of the bomber?"

"Good thought," the scientist said," but were about seven steps ahead. All of the watches were made in the Oberhausen Timex Factory, but they were all bought at several differant stores."

"Near eachother?"

"Not a chance. One was bought in Kamphstadt, one was bought in Oberhausen, about 900 miles away on the other end of Reichskamphen, and one was bought in Magdeburg about 1500 miles away from both of them."

"Perhaps someone is training people how to make bombs that way all over the country?" Herzenstein suggested.

"Also a good thought, but what about the watches, thats a one person calling card."

"Or perhaps an imititation of one...meant to look like it was one person, so when we caught one, we wouldn't look for more. Get the surveillance tapes at the stores where the watches were bought for the last two months. Get the records of sales too. Find out when they were bought and I want a picture of the guy who bought them." Herzenstein finished his commands and began to walk away.

"Sir!" the scientist called after him. "One more thing. This is a relatively small explosive device. In order for something this size to set off a car violently enough to kill several people, it would have to be some pretty heavy duty stuff. Substance tests are pretty much inconclusive as to exactly what substance was used, but from what we can tell, it was some type of plastic explosive. That stuff isn't available everywhere. We may want to check for someone in the construction industry as they replaced dynamite with it about 10 years ago."

"Good work." Herzenstein said.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Ambassador DePartenza!" a voice called out accross the tarmac. "Welcome to Reichskamphen!" It was count Dietrich von Oberhausen, foreign Ambassador of the Triune Kingdom. Behind him marched a column of ten Black uniformed Imperial Guardsmen carrying the standard of the Leipzig-Thompson House and a Protestant "For Crown and Covenant" standard. On the bottom of the standard was written the name of the division, "Sola Fide" "one faith", a reformation slogan. Ironically this was the division ordered to Guard the Agrigentan Delegation. Imperial Guardsmen surrounded the perimeter and held the airport in tight lockdown as armoured Urban assault Vehicles painted with Imperial Guard insignia patrolled the area accompanied by well armed shocktroops. Tanks sat at every corner of the tarmac and Imperial Guard helicopter gunships circled overhead.

"I assure you everything is safe. Count von Katrineburg, the man you were supposed to meet with is unfortunately detained for the moment and will be meeting us when we arrive at the Palace where you shall be staying unless you have any objections. It is viewed that it is the safest place for you to be."

The Imperial Guard moved from Column of twos into line of battle, advanced forward in the direction of the delegation and Count von Oberhausen and then formed a square around them, rifles pointing outwards, guarding against any outside danger and providing human shields for those inside.

"Let us go to the limo." An armoured limosine flanked by a motorcycle on each side, two behind, tanks in front and back, smaller armoured cars for Imperial Guardsmen, and APC's towards the rear incase a larger deployment of troops was needed. All got in as the convoy sped off for the Imperial Palace. They drove down Via Regorum "Road of the Kings" the road that bisected Reichsburg. During the first Scottan War, a battle fought in the city, coupled with internal arson caused the destruction of nearly 98% of the 800 year old city. They passed through the two pillars of what once was a grande arch going across the road. The remains of the top piece lay beside it. They passed the ruins of several arches, all placed by victorious Kings of the Thompson line to commemorate Great victories. The only one still standing was the one placed by King Will Thompson II (The Great) to commemorate his victories in Akilliam, Esamopia, Rash Unite, and the Oberhausen revolt. As they passed the arches, they drove up Palatine Hill, the former residence of the Kings. The 500 year old palace was leveled by Republican Guardsmen intentionally destroying it, though it was uninhabited and ungarissoned. The ruins of the palace were strewn about, with a new road going through ruins. A monument was errected, an equestrian statue of Will the Great holding a sabre in the air, inscribed on it was, "All for my People, all for My Country." a quote the King had made and below that were written the names of the 5243 Royalist soldiers who had died during the first Scottan War.

"We keep these here so that we don't forget." Oberhausen informed the guests, obviously wondering why ruins would go uncleaned.

As the passed through the ruins and down the hill the new Imperial Palace was now visible. Much of the statuary and fountains and grand arches placed by Viktor were removed by Emperor Paisley for the sake of removing Royal Trappings and giving the appearance of just another large house...very very large house.

As they pulled up to the front, Count Andre-Allistaire von Katrineburg, head of the combined Royal Houses of Leipzig-Thompson, stood at the top of the grand staircase and descended to open the door of the limosine as the chaufeur would normally do.

"Good Day, and God Bless, welcome to Reichskamphen. I am Count Andre-Allistaire von Katrineburg."

"I know for a fact," said the man in the Darkness, " that the Emperor has ordered plain clothes agents to be placed on the docks. He's onto us here. We need to find another way to get the supplies ashore. I think perhaps sink them in watertight containers several miles offshore, and we will send fishermen or divers to dive down and retrieve them. Don't sink them so far offshore that it will arrouse suspicion about the deviation from our fishermen or divers normal routes. That is unless you have a better easier idea."

He takes out an encrypted satelite phone and starts punching in the long access code. "I'll also have the guys at HQ figure a way we can sneak a team in. Oh don't worry about security with this its a direct line no way it can be tapped."

The phone connects to a passing Belem Comm sat and the Inquisitor waits for the computerized voice to say "Line is Secured" as the signal is bounced off 6 other satelites(2 are civilian sats from Belem companies) doubling back twice(OOC: to ensure more security) before being transmitted to Imperial Center.

Once the line is secured the Inquisitor speaks into using Inquisition code talk(OOC: its a combination of Church Latin and Old Roman Latin.) "Agent deposited. Contact Made. Request Standard Field Outfit. External deep sea drop. Coastal distance. no special weps. Ops later." He hangs up and looks at the lit cigeratte light and says "Give it a few days."

Meanwhile in Belem....

Within 2 hours Inquisitors begin loading a Lupine Submarine in a enclosed sub pen with sealed metal cases. There are a total of 6 cases each containing weapons and accesories. After the sub is loaded it departs for positions for positions about 30 miles off the coast of the port city(OOC:if im not mistaken thats where coastal fishing takes place.) It will be using silent propulsion for the last 300 miles of its trip and the rubber pitting around its hull helps distorts active sonar. ETA: 2-4 days.

OOC: divided over the 6 cases: 222 Uru submachine guns*stamped metal submachine gun only has 3 moving parts no safety and can be manufactured in under an hour. Though they are extremely cheap they are not prone to break because theres nothing in them that can break. The magazine is the most expensive part of the gun. 3 magazines apiece

60 AR-18s The cheapest rifle ever made, unfortunetely being that a rifle cant be made from stamped so it is a little on the pricy side otherwise its a cheap substitute for an assualt rifle. With only about 17 moving parts. Being an assault rifle it can fire on full auto. 3 magazines apiece

300 Fibreglass pistols The most expensive items in the set, they are made out of fibreglass so they can be smuggled pass metal detectors if neccessary. The only metal parts are made out of lead which can be passed through metal detectors.

600 Wooden grenades, Basic grenade except with its case being wooden to allow it to pass through metal detectors of course range suffers slightly and it is not as lethal.

120 pounds of Silicone Composite explosive(silicone composite is approx. 4x stronger then C4

60 Bullet Proofvest armor level 1 good against pistols and not much else.

MESSAGE TO CAV: from FeldMarschall Count Helmut Reichsmuller von Herzenstein; Chief Commissioner of the Imperial Gendarmes (Kinduv like an Imperial FBI...founded after the terrorist attacks began):

We request that you scan the briefcase that you obtained from the gunman at the border. Handle very carefully, place in a protected room, and allow no one who is not in a bomb suit to touch it. It is very likely that there may be explosives inside. These explosives could be very valuable to several cases we are working on.

The sub gets to a position about 30 miles off the coast in prime fishing lanes. The sub begins to flood one of its compartments then opens the supply hatch in the hull. Divers use mini submersible subs to pull the crates out and deposit them on the seabed floor.

After the crates are deposited the team boards the sub, and the sub uses silent propulsion to stealth away.

OOC: the crates would be noticable on fish finding sonar so since your men are waiting for it they should find it easilly

OOC: sorry about the bad writing, Im not fully awake.

A ship floated directly above the location where the metal crates had been placed. The fisherman cast nets out, catching fish and rolling them in. The fishermen ondeck went about their business as normal. Beneath the surface, nothing was normal though. Three minisubs circled around the metal crates, pulling them up to the bottom of the ship. A lower compartment opened up, and the subs dragged in their cargo. after the door closed. The compartment was pumped and the sub operators were able to take off their masks.

The most commonly heard comment was, "That s*** is HEAVY!"

President Conners nervously shifted behind the solid oak desk in the presidential office, he glanced at the speech on his desk in front of him and tried to practice some of its lines.

The Camera Man "Mr. President we're on in 2 minutes."

Conners glanced over to his wife who was standing in the corner, keeping a smile for him, he smiled slightly and went back to concentrating on his notes. He looked up for a moment and then drank some of the water that was sitting on his desk.

"Mr. President we're on in 1 minute."

He ran his fingers over his chin lightly and then interlaced his fingers together and set his hands on his desk in front of him. He looked right at the camera.

"We're on in 5...4....3....2....1"

Conners:
"Good evening my..." he stammered out...trying to remember his speech.

"Good evening my...you know...I had a speech planned out for this, but it is proving to be much harder to say what is written, than what is on my heart and my mind. I am here to apologize for My failure as your Leader and your Protector. Just yesterday morning we were beginning to wonder if getting involved was the right thing to do, now we see that we didn't even make the decision to get involved....they made it for us. 38 innocent Men and Women were killed yesterday afternoon on Capital Street, right here in our very own Capital. I wish I could tell you right now that we know who planned it and that we had caught them, but I can't. But I will promise you this...I will make sure to the very extent of my powers, that we exhaust every resource until these criminals are brought before you, and we will have our justice.
Just after the attacks, your Senate made the decision to become involved Militarily and to offer Diplomatic and Humanitarian Aide to those Countries, and Refugees who need it. We will be allowing Catholic's that are fleeing Reichskamphen to enter our Country, but they will not be permitted to leave the designated area for them. We must recognize that while these Terrorists that have committed these atrocities are Catholic, or try to Represent the Catholic faith....they do not represent the Catholic's who know that the Bible has never called for the death's of the innocent, that it has not called for unneeded bloodshed! May you sleep easier tonight, knowing that your Government, and your Leaders will not rest easily, or at all, until this matter is resolved. May God bless you and be with you during this time of mourning within our nation, and our region."

The camera turned off, and the various aides and House Staff stood around, unsure of what to say. That speech having been the first unscripted speech that a President had ever given on television, but it was powerful none the less.

President Conners got up, his hands shaking lightly as he walked away, his wife Andrea looked at him as he walked by, and she took hold of his hand as he walked out of the office.

"So...I suppose you won't be coming to bed tonight.." She said lightly

"No...probably not until this is seen through...." He said saddly, "But...I promise you I will see this through..." and he began to walk away, towards his War Room which would become his Stronghold, his Kitchen...there would be no straying from it until he resolved this matter.

Of the other twelve men, three were officers of the Gendarmes, obviously high up, four were dressed in suits, and the other 5 were obviously officers of the Imperial Guard.

We would also seek to start a recruiting effort for the Imperial Guard, a branch of the Military itself, within your country if you would allow it. This is a multinational force which is currently 100,000 men strong and could certainly use more troops and funds. Each man of the Imperial Guard swears an undieing oath of loyalty to the Emperor and to serve his commands. I hope you can find this acceptable."

Count von Herzenstein was pacing back and forth in the lab. Men in white coats worked under bright lights and strained their eyes to see into small microscopes. He unconsciously gave a huge sigh. Several scientists looked up, disgusted, but afraid to show it. He realized he was causing them some difficulty so he decided he would leave and make their work easier. As he reached the door, a voice accross the room called out to him.

"FeldMarschall! I have something to tell you!"

His eyes lit up as he quickly made his way over to the scientists table.
"What is it??" he asked, visibly excited.

"Just wanted to say, have a nice weekend!" the scientist said with a smirk. Herzenstein drew back his arm to srike the man, but before he could the scientist tacked on, "And we found a serial number on one of the Bomb pieces!" This stayed his hand.

"If you hadn't had that, your face would have been plastered all over the floor. I hate smarta**es." the Count said darkly.

"In any case," the scientist continued, "one of the serial numbers on a detonator was intact, we traced it to a plant in Kamphstadt where it was sold to the Royal Army."

"What base was it sent to?" the FeldMarschall asked, as if he suspicioned he knew the answer.

"To none sir. Atleast, no one ever recording having recieved it. As far as we know it just fell off the face of the earth after the shipping people took it."

"The shipping people!" Herzenstein exclaimed. "Thats it!"

"Maybe you should get a warrant to search their Headquarters?" the scientist suggested.

"Warrant?" the Count laughed. "My warrant comes out of the muzzle of a gun."

"This is the Imperial Guard!" an officer shouted as he rapped on the door, "Open up in the Name of the Emperor!"

After a few seconds passed, he gave the 'go ahead' signal with his hands. A battering ram knocked the door off its hinges and sent it falling to the ground. It made a startling slapping sound against the cold, gray cement floor.

"Holy Mother of Mercy..." the lead Imperial Guardsmen sighed as the rest of his men nearly gagged at the sight before them.

Men and women, employees and executives were all impaled through their stomaches on the lifting hooks used to lift crates, and hoisted high into the air where their blood tricked from their gaping wounds, down their legs, and pooled on the ground beneath them. On the wall was written in blood, "Ave Maria" It was written countless douzains of times in varying sizes and there was a trail of blood, apparantly where a body had been dragged, leading from the doorway, down a hallway. "You, you, and you." the Guardsman said, pointing to a three younger officers. "Come with me. The rest of you, fan out inside here and document the scene. Send pictures back as soon as you can. The blood is still fresh here. If we missed them, we didn't miss them by much." Some of the bodies were still twitching on their hooks nearly 30 feet in the air. Was it uncontrollable post mortem muscle spasms...or were they breathing their last breaths? The Guardsmen couldnt accept the latter, so he had to believe it was the first.

He walked beside the bloody trail, following it down a dark hallway. He turned on his flashlight so he could get a better glimpse of what lay ahead. The trail it seemed, stopped at the door to the office of the President of the Company. They cautiously opened the door. The room was dark as pitch. When the Guardsman directed his flashlight in, the first thing it illuminated was the lifeless, bruised, and mutilated face of a man in his 40s, apparantly the President. As the other lights came on, he saw he was nailed to the wall in the way a man would be nailed if he was crucified. He was nearly two feet off of the floor, blood and saliva draining from the corner of his lips. Below him lay what appeared to be a night watchman with a bullethole between his eyes and a slash down his sternum. He was probably the man who was drug from his post at the door to this office.

Above the man on the wall was written "Tu es Petrus. Tu es Mortus." 'You are Peter. (Popes Motto) You are dead.' A bloody arrow pointed towards a timer on its last seconds, hooked to a huge glob of C-4.

The briefcase sat in a vacuum-sealed room, and the technicians were suiting up to take it apart. The interrogation of the terrorist had not turned anything up about activities in Cav, or the contents of the briefcase. Whatever it was, he wanted us to find out on our own. That itself was enough to make the bomb squad overly cautious. The two men walked into the compression chamber and opened the inner door when the light turned green.

In the room, the briefcase sat on a table with a lot of high-tech instruments on it. The men approached it slowly and got out their tools.

"Unscrewing the locks. Removing hinges." They managed to take off the locking mechanism and get the hinges off the back.

"Removing top." As they moved the top off, they heard a whirring from inside the briefcase. Moving it completly to the side, they saw what was making all the noise inside. "Shit!"

One of the men took off his glove and touched the small ball inside. "It's warm. Uh, guys, do we have any nuclear physicists around?"

The briefcase held a nuclear bomb, the "suitcase nuke" that terrorists around the world had been feverishly trying to get their hands on. The yield of this particular one was estimated at 4kT, but the NEST team couldn't be absolutely certain unless the device was set off.

Alarming to the government, it adds an entirely new variable to the equation-- that terrorists are actively working in Greater Prussia with the ability to set off nuclear explosions anywhere they operate. It was good that we caught this man in Cav before he could do any serious harm, but now we must worry about nuclear explosions here and abroad.

We have sent out warnings to the other involved nations to alert them to this menace which we all face now. Cav will be tightening its borders and rechecking all of those we have integrated into our population.

"I am Hauptmann Esselhoff of the Imperial Guard." the Imperial Guard officer informed the Warden of the Facility as he showed him his papers and identification. "I come here by the order of the Emperor. He requests a two hour transfer of Custody of the Prisoner to the Imperial Government for interrogation. After which point he shall be returned. Your men are welcome to observe, and participate if they have a useful role to play." He handed them a paper with the Imperial Seal at the top and the signitures of both Emperor Paisley and Count Friederich von Magdeburg, commander of the Army and Imperial Guard.

*Beach where Belem agents landed, 20 minutes after landing*

Five men on horseback galloped along the beach. The hooves of the horses kicked the water, pooling in the sand, into a fine mist, falling through the air. The men were Chasseurs of the Imperial Guard on the regular beach patrol. They wore a combination of full dress uniform and standard battle garments. The dressier parts, harkening back almost to the 1700's, were for the added warmth they would afford on the cold Reichskamphian nights. Sabres hung at their left sides as in ages past, and Assault rifles hung on their right in a perfect position to be grabbed along with an array of handgrenades and anti-personnel mines. Their sheathes repeatedly clanged against the plates on their Sabreataches, the sharp sound echoing throughout the night and carried for miles by the thick ocean breeze. The moons rays shone palely upon the beach at that hour, all was nearly the same, homogenious and familiar. The same scenery they had seen for the past 15 miles and the same scenery they had seen for the past two weeks of their patrol.

"What is that?" a Hauptmann stared into the distance at what appeared to be a shadow cast on the beach. "Get the binoculars."

A Feldwebel took out a pair of nightvision binoculars from his pack and handed them to the Hauptmann. Zooming in he saw that they were man made...five of them. Maybe some type of weird jetski...no they were mini subs! But why here?

"Let's have a look." he decided with a hint of boldness in his voice.

He pulled at the reigns and dug the spurrs in, causing the Horse to Gallop. The rest of the men followed suit. It was a brilliant sound, the hooves slapping again and again against the cold, wet sand. The spray behind them flying upward and the riders hunched over, with an intense look in their eye. It could have been a painting.

It was very sudden. In the twinkling of an eye, the five machines exploded, a fireball rose into the air, illuminating the darkness. It was eerily beautiful and evil at the same time. Debris flew everywhere. The horses stalled and whinnied as the light and sound shocked them, and their riders as well. A horse screamed loudly and began to fall. The rider tried to get off but fell also, and became trapped beneath the horse. A two foot long shard of metal had flown from the minisubs and gone straight through the horse's skull.

"Get him off!" the Hauptmann ordered. Two of the men dismounted, and moved the dead man to the side, one helping his limping commrade onto his own horse.

"I think it's broken!" the man who had been trapped called out pointing to his leg.

"At least that's the only casualty...so far." The Hauptmann mused. "Someone has obviously gotten into the Country. And I am quite certain that they don't want to help us out." he took a deep sigh and turned his horse 90 degrees to look into the moon. "Inform HeadQuarters. We need to seal this city off. No one is to go in or out without clearance from the Emperor himself!"

"So!" Count von Katrineburg began, addressing the Agrigentan delegation, "Can I get anyone anything to drink? We keep a full stock of the finest wines and liquors in the world. Or we can get you something straight from the Imperial Orchards or Dairy!"

"You know we have a very touchy issue here." Katrineburg said. "I myself am Protestant, but I understand how it feels to have one's religion outlawed. I am Anglican and Anglicanism was until recently all but forbidden upon penalty of death. This is a very Conservative Country, and I will give this among other things to King Marcus and to Emperor Paisley, they run things as the people want them run. The biggest issue we will run into with legalizing any form of Catholicism will be the national outrage due to the attacks and the natural aversion to Popery in any shape or form. What would have been ideal would have been for the Emperor to pass down a decree making it legal for them to worship, which he was going to do. But the attacks put a stop to that." He paused and looked for the reactions upon the faces of the representatives. "Do we have any ideas? Any solutions?"

OOC: Oh good, I was worrying you were using "legal" methods. Thats why I had the Guard come. But no worries.

"We would be delighted if we could use your facilities as this is only a two hour transferr. You can have him back after we're done if you want him." the Guardsman said.

Two more men of the Guard came along escorting a 30 something woman, an old man, a 15 year old boy, and a four year old girl. They were dressed in their pajamas, as if they had been awakened from their sleep. Behind them was the big man himself, GeneralFeldMarschall Count Helmut von Herzenstein, Chief Commissioner of the Imperial Gendarmes. " I hope I'm not too late." he said with a smile and a wink to the lead Guardsman.

"Not at all Herr Feldmarschall...we were just getting started."

They walked down to the interrogation chamber. The man had obviously been given a pretty good beating. Much less than he deserved though. Herzenstein lined up the woman, the old man, and the teenager, and the four year old against the far wall of the Chamber so he could see them.

"Maryanne!" he gasped as he saw the woman.

"Yes," Herzenstein smiled. " This is your lovely wife." He patted the younger ones on the head and said, "These are your two wonderful children, Mark and Diane." He then walked over to the old man and smiled widely, "And this is your Father, George. Now," his voice got much firmer. "Tell me who you are working for, what you were sent to do, and anyone else you know who is involved in any way shape or form."

"Never!" the man screamed.

"Ok..." Herzenstein trailed off. He paced away from the chair, looking as if he was contemplating something. Then he suddenly drew his P-38 pistol and shot his wife in the head. Blood and brain matter splattered against the back wall as the life drained out of her eyes and she fell like a sack of meat against the floor. The kids screamed and the old man gasped in terror. The little four year old hid her face in her brother's leg.

"Again." he said much too calmly, "Tell me."

Tears streamed down his face, making streaks in the blood that still oozed from the wounds from his previous interrogation. His mouth was open wide, jaw quivvering with grief. He began to sob heavily. "TELL ME DAMMIT!" Herzenstein yelled in his face.

"Na-na-la-ga-ba-ba-ba..." he began to stutter incoherantly, too overcome with grief to speak, now sobbing uncontrollably.

"TALK CLEARLY!" he yelled as he drew his pistol again and shot the 15 year old boy between his eyes. The four year old screamed louder, as her refuge was yanked away from her. His blood was matted in her hair and spotted her face all over.

"MOMMY!!!" she yelled screaming wildly. She flailed and kicked, trying to wake up her brother and her mother. "Wake up! Wake up! PLEASE WAKE UP!!!" She fell on the ground screaming the most horrible sounds any human being has ever heard. A scream so full of raw pain and sorrow, it could only come from a child.

"Now, unless you want to lose another of your family...I suggest you give me answers!" Herzenstein yelled.

"I work for..." the man began.

"Yes?" Herzenstein leaned in.

"I work for Lord God Almighty!"

"Isn't that interesting..." Herzenstein mused. "I work for Satan, but for now, I am in the Employment of a Man of God!" He walked over to the old man holding a gun to his head. The old man closed his eyes. His heart rate quickened, sweat dripped from his brow. He could hear it before it even came, the shot that would end his life. He anticipated it. His whole life had been leading up to this moment. He knew it would come, but he never thought like this. 'I am ready.' he thought. 'I won't even know...Ill be dead before I can feel a thing.'

Herzenstein pulled out a knife and slit his throat! The pain was like fire, he could feel the blood draining out of him, warm streams flowing down his body, onto his hands and hitting the floor. He gasped for air but found none, the blood bubbled and gurgled as he frantically tried to breath. He collapsed to the floor struggling to hold the cut together with his hands.

"GRANDPA!!!" the little four year old yelled she ran for him but Herzenstein smacked her and threw her against the wall.

"STAY HERE!" he yelled. He moved over to her as the Man's father lay kicking and struggling on the ground. "Now ask your Daddy to tell me what I want to know." he said to the girl. She stammered on, screaming, hot tears pouring down her little cheeks.

"NOT MY GIRL! NOT MY BABY!" the man yelled out.

"Then tell me what I want to know!" Herzenstein grunted.

There was a tense moment of silence. "Fine." Herzenstein said as he rose up. He began to walk towards the door. He was in the door way when he stopped, and came back and said, "Oh, I forgot." He shot the little girl three times, shot the terrorist in the groin, and calmly walked out of the room, adjusting his hair so it wouldn't look messy.

Speaking to the Cav interrogators he said, "Sorry for the Mess. Believe me, if this won't make him talk, nothing will...but I left him alive incase you wanted to try something else." He turned to his own men, none of whom had seen what had happened in the room and said, "Let's go."

"What about the people?" the Imperial Guardsman asked. " Do we take them with us?"

"No." Herzenstein said. "They wanted to stay here with him."

The Marine Squad crept through the Forest Silently, their keen eyes sweeping the area. A strange mound caught the eye of the rear guard and he motioned for the rest of the squad to halt and he pointed at the mound.

The others noticed it and the Squad Leader motioned for the rear guard to follow him to the mound, they crept silently, their trigger fingers slipping over the triggers of their small silenced Mp5's. They laid down on their stomachs and crawled inch by inch until they were nose to nose with the mound, not touching but very close. The Squad leader pulled down the front of his mask for a moment "Bernards...check for any openings, or if this is a buried object." he said silently. The other Marine who had accompanied him to the mound was now crawling slowly around it, searching for an opening, but found none. "Sir, it's a buried object. Possibly an explosive.." he said his voice slightly waivering.

The two looked at eachother as they heard the unmistakeable thud of bullets pummeling into flesh behind them. They turned around to find themselves staring at two mid-height men, one in their mid-thirties with blonde hair and green eyes, the other was hard to distinguish age or features at all, as he was cloaked and masked. "Seems we've caught ourselves some Marines Christoph, take these two to the tunnels, and get a clean up crew to take care of the bodies." The cloaked man said, his voice chilling but almost familiar to the two marines.

"Right away Cardinal." was all that Christoph replied as he forced the two marines up and took their weapons, "March protestant scum."

OOC: RWC, do you need some help with those guys? I've got marines roaming around the area.

IC: Maj. Gen. Marion watched the screen as each family member of the terrorist was killed. That's one way to do it, he thought. Well, if Count von Herzenstein was finished with the terrorist, Marion figured he should go down and take care of things.

The room looked worse than it had been portrayed on the monitor. On the other side of the room were four bodies, and the wall was covered in blood and pieces of brain. It was all over the floor too.

The terrorist was writhing in pain and trying desperately to get out of the chains that connected his wrists to the ceiling. He looked in pretty bad shape, as now he'd been shot three times in the last 24 hours. Marion surprised himself by thinking that von Herzenstein should have drawn out the process more. He was a mess, that was for sure. The pain finally gerw too strong and he passed out.

"Clean him up and stop his bleeding. Cauterize his groin wound. Don't touch the bodies. Only do enough work on him to keep him alive."

They called the control room and lowered and unchained the body. They took him away on a stretcher to the medical facility, where he would get washed off and then worked on.

************
He came back around a few hours later. He was physically weaker than before, and he was forced to crawl back to the interrogation chamber, where his family had been left there to rot. Marion was standing there, waiting for him to get back.

"The Field Marshall wanted me to give you this," Marion said handing him a list.

Emperor Paisley looked at the press report from the Vatican. "Something smells fishy." he said. "Both you and I know the Pope is thoroughly enjoying this, whether he will admitt it or not. He wants nothing more than to see the Empire return to a Catholic Crown. The response that Cardinal gave almost seems to be...I don't know..."

"Dodging the question?" Kyle Paisley suggested.

"Yes. That is it." the Emperor stated difinitively. We both know that Rome has a big mouth and when something offends it bad enough, it will keep going and never shut up. Just consider for a moment, that these terrorists were killing other Catholics? Why, we would have ambassadors from the Vatican everywhere. There would be excommunications flying everywhere!"

"But since we are Protestants..." Kyle added.

"Who Cares!" Paisley said, in an immitation of what the Pope would say. "They are just Protestants. Maybe after all this is over, this violence will bring about Catholic prominence."

"But Dad..." Kyle began speaking as if an idea had suddenly struck him. "Remember how you said that excommunications would have been flying everywhere?"

"Yes."

"Well, perhaps the Pope being our greatest adversary...he could also be our greatest tool for our salvation. Rome is in an ecumenical mood...trying to coax the Apostate Protestants and the Orthodox Eastern Churches into joining their fold. They can't have this escalate too much further without more action or risk losing the ecumenical grip they hold. So if we request that the Pope excommunicate the insurgents on the grounds of breaking Catholic Faith and being an enemy of the faith, then we can perhaps, force his hand into saving us from this fire. If they are loyal Catholics, they will stop the terrorism. If they are not, I don't know what, but it's worth a try."

"But if it does escalate, you think the Pope would lose his ecumenical Grip?" Paisley needled him.

"Perhaps, but I would much prefer to see our people alive. The Ecumenical problem can be solved without bloodshed. Go on International Television demand that the Pope excommunicate them."

"Then that would acknowledge the Pope has such powers." Ian said.

"But he doesn't, we both know he doesn't...but the insurgents don't know that. If they still believe in their anti-Christ let them, we can use it to our advantage!"

"Hmmmm."

"You still aren't going to say anything, are you?" the interrogator asked from behind the gas mask. He backhanded the man in the face. "Go back to cleaning up your family."

The interrogator met General Marion in the conference room, where Marion was almost mesmerized by the man's ability to clean up the brain matter of his dead wife. He showed emotions, but apparently the years of murdering others' wives and children made him somewhat immune to this.

Marion sighed. "We've done all that we can do."

The man had just finished putting his daughter's corpse in the size small body bag. He saved her for last, which was the most emotional part of this ordeal. There were three garbage bags full of body parts, blood-soaked rags, and empty bottles of disinfectants. On top of that were the four body bags.

The door opened and a guard threw him a rope. "Tie them together, we're going somewhere."

"I've had enough of this! Why don't you just kill me!" he yelled.

The guard turned his rifle around and gave the man a good beating. "All in good time. Now move!"

The man crawled his way through the corridors and up the stairs to the roof incinerator. It seemed like it took hours for him to drag his family behind him, and when he got there he found Marion and a priest. The man's battered body slumped over and fell to the ground.

The guards stood him up to be addressed by Marion. "You do not deserve the last Sacrament, but your family does. We will perform the ceremony for them while you watch. Father, go ahead."

The priest nodded and crossed himself. "In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen. Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen."

"Thank you, Father. We ask forgiveness for what we do."

The priest nodded and went back inside. The guards brought the terrorist to his knees as three more men walked up. They grabbed the bags and threw them into the fire. The man's spirit was completely broken, and he wept for his family and his choices in life. He was stood back up and chained to the concrete wall. The three men joined the other two guards and they drew their weapons.

Marion began the final stages of the terrorist's life. "Terrorist, you have been accused of crimes against the state, and possession of a weapon of mass destruction. Being a non-citizen of Cav, you are not entitled to a trial by jury. For this, Emperor Cav has conveyed upon you the death penalty."

He turned to the men. "You know the drill. Single-shot, outside the O-ring."

Back to the terrorist. "It's a shame you will never be united with your family again."

"Ready. Aim. Commence firing!"

The men began at the terrorist's feet. They moved their fire up his legs, and then moved to his hands and arms when they were done with that. Then his stomach. Blood was everywhere. His intestines fell out of his stomach. They watched him bleed out until he stopped moving. Marion took out his sidearm and shot the man in the head. It was over. The guards unchained him and threw his body into the incinerator.

"Send a video of today's happenings to the leader of the terrorist groups. Let them know that they can expect the same fate if they choose to declare war against civilization."

A chuckle enounced from under the mask "My dear Captain...had you kept your mouth shut, I may not have had to kill you, but you obviously are more intelligent than I give grunts like yourself credit for." his cold voice crept slowly outwards.

The Marine walked up to the Senator, catching him offguard and spit in his face "Traitor, bastard, soul-less piece of shit." was all the Marine said before he felt the knife rip through his outter blouse and striking the bullet proof vest underneath. He quickly ducked down and launched his fist into Ball's kneecaps.

"So," von Herzenstein said, "It seems they knew we were coming to the shipping plant. But how would they have known?"

"Perhaps," Vice Commissioner Essling suggested, "we have a spy in our midst."

"Perhaps, Perhaps..." the Count took a moment to think. Was it sent out on the radio? No...complete radio silence...the only ones who knew it was happening other than the proper authorities in Reichsburg was the Imperial Guard unit carrying it out.

"He's in the Guard." Herzenstein stated.

"What?" Esling asked incredulously, "You're out of your mind! They are the Guard for Christ's sake! These men are the most loyal soliders in the army."

The Count continued. "At that shipping plant, the bombs went off killing pretty much the entire regiment...but were there any survivors?"

"Yes." OberGruppenFuhrer Trachtenburg, head of the Kamphstadt Bureau of the Gendarmes piped up, "There was one survivor of the Regiment, one Yuri Timoshenko, a former Esamopian National who immigrated to Reichskamphen with his family when he was 3 after King Will defeated Esamopia in the Two Day War. He was complaining of horrible stomache pains so they didn't make him go out that day. He was several miles away when the bomb went off.

"Hmmm...bring this gentleman in to talk to me." Herzenstein ordered.

"Right away Herr FeldMarschall!" Trachtenburg clicked his heels, saluted, and left to do his master's bidding.

"You're mad Helmut!" the Vice Commissioner said. Everyone in Kamphstadt has heard of the Timoshenkos, they run the docks there. They are a very respectable family and Yuri is also very respectable...a nice clean young man. He went to Calvin U. for Pete's sake! Our old Alma Mater!"

"Familiarity with a suspect does not rule him out."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Gefreiter Yuri Timoshenko, reporting as ordered Herr FeldMarschall!" the young man with cropped brown hair snapped to attention. He was wearing his best dress uniform and held the bearskin bonnet cap, the signiture of the Imperial Guard, under his arm.

'He is trying to remind me that he's in the guard, use their prestige to hide his shortcomings. It won't work', Herzenstein thought.

"I am GeneralFeldMarschall Count Helmut von Herzenstein, Commissioner of the Imperial Gendarmes." he extended his hand which was prompty taken and shook. Yuri had a strong grip. "Now, we are here to ask you some questions about the tragedy which took place within your regiment."

"Oh, I wasn't there sir. Had some bad stomache pains, but I wish I had been." Yuri jumped the gun, "It seems so unfair that they had to die, and I get to live."

'His dedicated soldier act.' the Count thought, 'Won't get him too far with me.'
"Now, we know that. We just want to know why you weren't there."

"Stomache pains." Yuri responded.

"We know that..." Herzenstein leaned in as if he didn't want anyone else to hear, "but what's the real reason."

"Sir, with all respect!"

"That tone isn't respectful at all...so how can you be addressing me with all respect Gefreiter?" the FeldMarschall chided him. "You forget, I was IN the Imperial Guard under Emperor Viktor. Guardsmen do not shirk their duties because they have stomache pains! I got a footlong gash in my arm one day and I was right back drilling the next day. Heck, I knew a guy who broke his foot during a forced march and didn't say anything about until the next day. Just kept marching! So you can peddle that Bullsh*t with someone else. But it won't fly with me Timoshenko!"

"I'm sorry sir...I just...I just..."

"You just what!?" Herzenstein pressed him angrily.

"I just got scared!" he yelled as if popping under all the pressure being applied to him. "I didn't want to die! They told us there might be gunmen there waiting for us. I just pretended to be sick."

"Now, you also had a civilian cell phone!" Herzenstein produced his phone. "These are contraband and not allowed by the Army as idle talk could give away positions and travel routes. You are supposed to use the land lines in your bunk house or use a cell phone provided by the guard that operates on a monitored frequency. And thats just what you did with it, you gave away the movements of our troops, and stayed behind so you wouldn't have to suffer the death you knew awaited them at that plant!"

"No! I wouldn't! That phone was to talk to my dad, incase he had an emergency and needed to reach me! He's getting old."

"Dad...Father...hrm...Father...Priest...yes, sounds interesting. What a unique way to characterize treason!" Herzenstein said in his face.

"No sir! You can check the records!"

"Oh we did." Herzenstein smiled. "On your phone, the records show that you are correct. We decided to double check that with the phone company though. When we did, we found you give a call shortly after you were informed of your mission. The phone which recieved that call was an illeagal phone, unregistered and pirating the frequency. It was a phone whose location at the time of the call was tracked to be right inside of the Plant."

Timoshenko's eyes got wider. He began to sweat. "May I have a drink of water please?" he asked.

A Guard got him a small cup from the watercooler in the corner of the room.

"Thanks." they saw him take something out of his bearskinbonnet and crunch down on it.

"DAMMIT!" Herzenstein yelled as Timoshenko's lifeless body fell forward, his head striking the table he was sitting infront of. "Trachteburg!" he yelled. The Obergruppenfuhrer came running very quickly.

"Yes sir?"

"Find this guy's family. Check them out. They are high profile so we can't just kill them. Our friend in here was a spy, we confronted him with it and he went for a Cyanide capsule. So we gotta keep this quiet for as long as we can. Observe them. At the first sign of Catholicism or Treason, move in and arrest them."

"Yes sir." Trachtenburg walked out.

OOC: Darnit Belem...I posted but it didn't post. I mean, I had a good one too. It would have made your job alot tougher. But I'm too lazy to rewrite it. Your next stop as you would have been informed by your instructions will be the Anglican Church in Katrineburg about 15 miles North of your current location. That is where your original instructions would have ended and your next set would be given.

Agrigento: Basically...HVS made a lukewarm statement in regards to the insurgency, made a generallity, so the insurgents will be able to interpret that any way they want. Emperor Paisley has decided he wants to demand that the Pope excommunicate the insurgents. Belem has inserted a team of 10 advisors to the insurgency. There were a couple raids that took place, leading to the capture of an Imperial Guardsman who was in league with the insurgents and the possible indictment of an entire prominent family. The Anglican Church is secretly supporting the insurgency. Marines from Greater Prussian nations are helping with the problem, two marines from Right Wing Conspirators were captured. The terrorist that was captured by cav was interrogated rather brutally, I like alot of the writing on that part, and since he didnt talk he was executed. I may have left something out but I don't think so. You are welcome to read any of it at your own leisure.i I will go back and find the last post that I made to you. Here it is.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So!" Count von Katrineburg began, addressing the Agrigentan delegation, "Can I get anyone anything to drink?

"Well, it is certainly not the policy of the Catholic church to support such acts of terrorism, I am no theology scholar or priest, but of this I am certain. Such attacks seem very contrary to proper Catholic teachings and dogmatic doctrine that it is hard to beleive that these are truly religious zealots. It would appear to me that these terrorists may have alternative goals and are merely using the ban on Catholicism as a means for garnishing support. However, I will do my best to make contact with these groups and see, if indeed they are fighting for religious freedom, what accomadations they demand", he said, rather longwindedly ignoring the offer of beverages, "Furthermore I will certainly abide by the rules and limits your government places on these negotiations and will not negotiate with what I cannot. Now, where should we start?"

"Unfortunately," Katrineburg sighed, "Emperor Paisley is right partially on this one. Lord knows I've never been his biggest fan. There's been times when I've hated the man, and he knows it himself, thats why he picked me...I would be easier to talk to than he would. But, unfortunately the teachings of the Church on this subject aren't as clear and straightforward as one might thing. It has been the policy of the Roman Church in recent years to take such stances, but before the last two Popes, the stance was very differant and many things were said 'infallibly' ex cathedra that seem to indicate the exact opposite stance as the one you have suggested. And if these were infallible statements...then they supposedly cannot change. As the Emperor has pointed out, this Pope may call Protestants his separate bretheren, but his predecessors were want to separate their bretheren's heads from their bodies. And there has been no official change in the doctrines or Dogmas of the Roman Church to suggest that it is getting any better. These are Conservative Traditional Catholics, they don't buy into the image the Church is trying to show off these days for the sake of looking attactive ecumenically. The Emperor asked the Pope to condemn them, he did not. He only issued two vague generalities that would contradict eachother in these terrorists minds and in the minds of many others. Plus, he didn't even speak. It was just a footnote, a brief mention in a press conference by a Cardinal. The Pope himself has ignored the situation. This, coupled with the fact that even the Church let alone the Pope has not taken a difinitive stand has mislead the terroists, and many in the Empire, already suspicious of the Papacy, are taking this as a sign of his philosophical support for the insurgency. Until he comes down and flatly excommunicates these terrorists and makes a definitive statement, I myself will even personally hold this opinion, and I am far from a dogmatic traditional Protestant."

He took a sip of his wine, realizing how long he had spoken. But also realizing, that he had more to say. He took a deep breath, and began again.

"Now, insofar as negociations with the terrorists are concerned...there will be none. What shall happen, is we shall ascertain what their intentions are and what their demands are. Then we will see outside of that, what we can do about them. This would have been much easier if they hadn't started all of this...the only solution I can see now, is the Pope excommunicating these terrorists. If he does not, the blood of thousands will be on his hands. There is no way that I can see to stop it other than that. What he cannot do is excommunicate Reichskamphen, which would mean that anyone is welcome to kill our leadership at anytime and be free of sin according to Catholic Dogma. If he does that, he will also have the blood of thousands on his hands. The only way this can be stopped is his excommunication of the insurgents. The best thing you can do, other than speak with these insurgents, is to carry this case to the Pope and speak with him about it."

A family was walking down the road leading to Katrineburg, but they were walking away from it, perhaps back to their house. The little girl in the family was carrying a picnic basket and skipping, whistling a happy tune. Then, she saw something in the woods. They were men, dressed in black. "EEEEE!" she screamed.

"What is it sweety?" the Dad asked, very concerned.

"Theres people over there! They have guns!" the girl screamed out.

"Now sweety, no one has guns..." then he caught sight of them himself. "Honey," he said to his wife, "Take Samantha and run NOW!" He began to run himself. He picked up his cell phone and dialed the regional Gendarme office. "Hello, I wan't to report several men with guns in the woods near..."

"Move it double time!" The group hurrys through the forest for about 100 yards before the Lt signals the halt. He turns to the urban ops officer and points to his watch.

"6-10 minutes would be the normal police response time, there'll start at point of first contact and expand outwards we have time." comes the reply.

The Lt. nods, and gives his commands "continue with the advance cover the tracks."

The squad begins moving again slowly now disrupting there tracks to make it harder for followers. They use all the natural features of the land including hard dirt and rocks to make it more difficult for pursuerers.

IC: The Imperial Guard arrived on the scene about three minutes later. The units arriving were reinforcements for the blockade noose in the South so they were already nearby. Seeing the remains of the flashbang, the Guard immediately knew the threat was real. Within six minutes helicopter gunships were overhead searching for the team and Imperial Guard troops were combing the woods. The column heading to the South was large, 100 men fanned out in the forest and the Royal Forrest Service officials were notified.

Using thermal imaging, and magnifying cameras, the gunships scanned for the team in the woods. "Picking up ten large heat signitures moving north...wait, no West now...no now East...They are changing direction pretty randomly." the Helicopter pilot said.

"It's probably a heard of moose." the commander replied, "but the area of the forrest you say they are in is offlimits to civilians due to the proximity of a nearby government installation. Whatever they are, take your shot."

He flipped back the cover on his weapons stick and launched five rockets at the targets. Then he came down at tree top level where he hovered, shooting at anything that moved.

Hearing the tell tale buzz of the chopper and the hiss of rockets the men dive to the ground and roll under cover. Luck, training and terrain were the only things saving them from being hit by the rockets.

The men remained hidden and motionless under the brush, shrubs and trees waiting for the overflying helicopter to continue on its path. They had weapons at the ready but they wont make a move unless the chopper fires first. There close proximity to the fire would help mask their thermal images.

IC: "Everything is in place." a dark, rumbling voice whispered into the telephone.

"Excellent," Father Sapienza said, "no one suspects?"

"Not a one." he replied with a tone in which one could almost see the grin on his face.

"Go about your work my son." Sapienza ordered reverently.

"Father?" the voice called out after him.

"Yes, my son?"

"Father...could you...." he paused, thinking of the implications of what he was about to say, "give me my last rights?"

"Of course." Sapienza agreed, the tone in his voice almost endearing. He then gave him his last rights and softly hung up the phone as if the speaker on the other end were actually inside it and he might jostle him if he set it down too hard.

"It is all ready." Sapieza declared. He looked into the shadows and saw that red glowing cigar tip...almost like a great red eye...watching.

"Excellent. Just Marvelous." the voice of the man was slightly slurred because he kept the cigar perched upon the corner of his lips and the end gripped tight in his teeth.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Two hundred and twelve dead..." the Count looked on in horror at ground zero of the latest terror attack.

"It appears they bombed the two largest baracks of the Imperial Guard in the region. That is 212 Imperial Guardsmen dead." a Gendarme Feldwebel informed him.

"Anyone survive this time?" the Count inquired.

"No sir. All present and..." the Feldwebel glanced at a twisted, charred body, its hand burned into a hideous bony claw..."accounted for."

Several Gendarmes were poking through the smoldering remains of the baracks, gathering the bodies to be shipped home, and investigating the scene.

"Over here!" one Gendarme called out. The Count and his entourage hurried over to where the voice had called to them and looked down to where the man was pointing. They then saw the huge crater. The center of the explosion. "Wait..." the Commandant of the Fort looked at the crater. He walked to the edge of the foundation, and took two large paces. "This is where the first bunk would have been. He took another, "second bunk." and another, "third bunk." and then he stepped into the crater, "fourth bunk." and into the centre, "fifth bunk."

"What the hell are you doing?" the Count demanded impatiently.

"Counting the rows from the foundation, find out whose bunk was there. I've been in the military 30 years and I've seen my share of explosions. This bomb was planted on the floor, because there is no way to get under this place...it's solid cement and rock underneath it. And it was under Alphonse Ligouri's bunk."

"Sounds Italian." the Feldwebel commented.

"It is." the Commandant answered, "His parents were Catholic. The men used to tease him. Guess he got the last laugh."

"No." the Count stated, very sure of himself. "These people aren't muslims. They don't do suicide bombings." He began to walk towards his staff car, "Keep up the good work Commandant." he called after him. 'Someone else.' he thought. 'Someone else who had access to the barracks...'
------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the Belem units arrived at the Anglican Church, they noticed a blinking light at the top of the steeple. It was flashing...morse code. "Back in woods. Wait there." it said.

Then, the gardener walked out into the woods with several wheelbarrows. They moved aside the plants inside and handed the insurgents street clothes. "You need to come into the Chapel," the gardener whispered, "but there is no secret way in. Just walk right in with these on. Don't act suspicious. The Priest will recognize you by your clothes."

He rolled the wheelbarrow out and back into the church garage.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Katrineburg looked at the Agrigentan delegation emotionlessly for a moment. "Very well." he finally said. "Our offer is, if all militants turn themselves in for prosecution, we will legalize Catholicism. With the military threat gone and them brought to justice, it will be easier to justify."

As soon as the insurgents were in, the Priest removed his mitre. "Sorry about that...err...sloppy performance back there...but at least it worked." He hung up his coat and sat down his heavy hat. "I am Father Lucas Sapienza of the Katrineburg Anglican Church." he reached out and shook their hands. "I am afraid there has to be a bit of a change in course for you men. Just last night, high command decided that the marines around Reichsburg were looking a bit too closely, so they opted to escape. The tunnels there are all but empty."

He looked wistfully out into the foliage of a large oak tree, standing strong by his window. "We are setting up a forward command outside of Kaiserstadt." He reached into his desk and produced a map where he pointed out Katrineburg and Kaiserstadt, "About two days walk, and about an hour's drive. Get there how you can. But we will need two of you to stay behind. Katrineburg is a veritable hotbed of insurgency just waiting to explode. All we need is the right kindling, and right match to set it off. The match is provided. What we need is two of you to remain behind and help us train these people...be the kindling that will help us start the fire that burns out these biggots once and for all."

Reichskamphian/Cav border: 1:02 AM

OOC: If you don't like this I will cut it and figure out another way to do it.

Catholics and Apostate Protestants of all types had been pouring accross the border from Reichskamphen into Cav for the past few weeks. It had been a flood at first, but now it was only a trickle as most of those who had wanted to get out were now out safely.

A rusted out Volkswagen pulls up to the checkpoint at the border. The driver presents his ID, "George Shermann, 42, Imperialist Party Member, Registered Member of Free Presbyterian Church, 820 KaiserstraBe, Reichsburg, Reichskamphen."

It seemed a bit funny why this man would leave. He was set for a good time and he was not opposed to any of the actions taken by the government and being a Free Presbyterian was obviously very religious and a fan of the Emperor.

"Why would you want to leave?" one of the guards finally asked, giving in to his curiousity.

"I am getting tired of the b-o-m-b-s going off." he said bombs very slowly and deliberately.

"Bombs?" the guard asked again.

"Yes. B-o-m-b-s. He made a slight motion to his vest...beneath it were nearly 40 sticks of dynamite, tied to a remote detonator. 'Help me'. The man mouthed out slowly, being careful not to say the words so they couldn't hear.

All of a sudden, the guards, the car, and the man, were wiped away in a bright white flash. Tearing up several cars around it and doing some damage to the border installations (OOC: For Cav to determine how much) Immediately four pickuptrucks began to race to the front of the action where soldiers worked frantically to control the situation and rescue the fallen. Machinguns were mounted in the beds of the truck as men in the back fired stinger missiles at the gates and installations, rushing the guards and the guard posts. They deliberately aimed their small arms fire at anyone that moved, military or otherwise. Cutting a swath of destruction, they approached the entrace to the border, not decreasing speed a bit. One of the trucks fired a TOW missile knocking out the gate, and the trucks sped through. A few miles down the road, the men abandoned the trucks, and split up on foot, setting their vehicles to self destruct within five minutes.

Men had entered Cav.

Austraicosmos, Dersconi Star System Two

Austraicosmos, the Dersconi Prision planet, is where the worst prisioners in the Empire go. There is no hope for escape. No means of transportation, no contact with the rest of the universe, just barren wasteland -- with lots of volcanos and storms. The only Guards are at the only government complex on the planet, and that is the Shuttle bay, where prisioners are dropped off to live out the rest of their lives.

=====================

Space Station Gaundlet, Outside Austraicosmos' Atmosphere

Gaundlet is the space station that monitors the planet and is often known as the "Gateway to Hell." All shuttles to and from the planet must first stop at Gaundlet, or be blasted to nothing with an antimatter charge. The commander looked over the new reports, shocked to read it.

Prisoner 5038866613 is to be released and transported to the Kremlin immediately.

Oders directly from the Czar

The Commander reread it about three times before it completely sunk in. No one has ever left this planet! He shook his head and issued the orders. A shuttle dismounted from the space station and entered the planet's atmosphere and landed at the military complex on the planet.
========================
Austraicosmos

The soldiers unloaded from the shuttle and got in their Warthogs and Apache gunships. They drove and flew to the location of the prisoner. Any person found in their way they shot, just for kicks. They finally got to the interrogation center, dismounted, and dragged the prisoner out, and threw him in the transport, wnet back to the base, and shuttled back to Gaundlet.
========================
Space Station Gaundlet

The Shuttle attached itself at the same time a Dersconi Diplomatic Transport Shuttle mounted itslef. The guards dragged the person into the chamber, where the ID code was verified. The chip inside his brain was surgically removed, his tatoos erased. He then took a shower, and was given another prison uniform -- a clean one. He was escorted to the transport shuttle, and they flew back to Earth, to Kremlin Palace.

The VC-130 landed, with the prisoner beingf loaded into the convoy, and taken to the Kremlin. He was escorted to the front gate, in which three Imperial Guards took him into the Kremlin. They escorted the prisoner to the throne room, opened the giant doors, and let him in.

Throne Room

"Good Afternoon," the Czar said to the person.

"It is, isn't it?" the prisoner remarked. The Czar pressed a button, and two Imperial Guards came in, and gave the ex-prisoner his old uniform.

"Well, now," the Czar said. "Adolf Hitler, I hereby promote you to the rank of Field Marschall." He opened up what looked like a replica of Pandora's Box, took out the crystal, and handed it to Hitler. The black cloud eveloped him, and went in. The power surge was amazing. "Field Marschall Adolf Hitler, I hereby give you the title of Sith Lord Adolf Hitler." The Czar took out the lightsabre from the box, and presented it to Hitler. He activated it, and the red laser shot out. The hum from it was powerful. "Glad to have you back."

"I am glad to be back. What is my assignment?"

"You are to round up Catholics, interrogate them, and eliminate them, if need be. As you know, the hidden concentration camps in various locales will be nice. Denver International Airport is the main one I am reffering to. Will not be hard to miss."

Alright, the first message has been preached, and a question answered. I have decided to liven it up a bit, to make it more than a lecture series, we will debate after every message. There are certainly alot of people who hate what I have to say. Here is your chance to formally have at, so to speak.

The Czar watched the Sith Lord leave the room. The Imperial Guard came up to the Czar at his request.

"Yes, sir?" the Guardsman said to the Czar.

"Here," Sapienza pointed to the nearly 500 people gathered in the woods outside of Katrineburg, "are the people you will be training. What do you think would be a good first step to educating these men?"

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The other militants from Belem then recieved their instructions in a letter from the Commander of the Insurgents:

Continue on to Kaiserstadt post haste. Visit the King Will The Great Museum on Koenig StraBe. Take the 10 am tour. Your tour guide should be wearing an eye patch. When you get to the exhibit displaying the captured Akillian standards from the Akillian Wars, ask why the standards were kept. It is important that you do or say nothing conspicuous and only say this at that precise time.

The guards in the tower were watching on, looking at the crowd of people filing in. They saw the suspicious vehicle, definitely out of place compared to the other cars that passed through the border so far. The explosion shook the glass. The men realized what was happening and pressed the alarm soon enough to see the missiles headed at them. They were vaporized along with their tower, and the entire border complex was in shambles. The minimal troops that were stationed there were now dead, and the border was wide open for anybody to just waltz right in.

Border Air Station, 12 miles inland

"Sir, there's trouble in Sector Charlie-Two. They sounded the alarm but we haven't heard anything since."

"Get some eyes in the sky. Send a helo group to check out the area."

The blackhawk pilots saw the smoke from the car fires, but proceeded to the border to secure the area. There, they saw all of the devastation-- buildings blown apart and bodies strewn about. The helicopters unloaded their men and they got to work securing the area and tightening their patrols. They'd check out the other fires soon enough, but for now they were going to make sure that nobody else could get in and do the same.

Three brigades of the Imperial Army in the vicinity of the attacked border outpost immediately responded under the orders of Count von Magdeburg.

The Oberst Commanding the formation rode ahead through the twisted metal and mangled corpses in an armoured Kubelwagen. "4th Brigade, Fan out and secure the perimeter on this side of the border. 7th Brigade, move in to assist the Cav army with their operations. 8th Brigade, cross the border and secure a perimeter on their side. Be sure to clear this with the commanding officer here first." The Oberst looked upon the devestation with his binoculars. It was heinous. His feld grau Panzer wrap glistened in the sun as the drops of perspiration, fallen from his face, caught a ray. "You gotta do what you gotta do." the Oberst thought to himself.

The troops ran, as if they were advancing on some huge enemy position, their MP5's at the ready. "Herr Oberst," one soldier called to him. He approached and glanced at the charred face of a man, trapped under a metal truck door. A tattoo was clearly visible on his bicep. "AVS" with a sword going through it. "Take the body, and incinerate it. If you find anymore, do the same." the Oberst ordered.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Count von Herzenstein to see you, Sir." Count von Magdeburg's secretary spoke shrilly over the intercomm.

"Send him in."

A moment later, the doors opened, revealing a 6'5" man, wearing a Jet Black Imperial Gendarmes uniform. Under his arm, he held a black, parade style shako complete with a "Soli Deo Gloria" Imperial Monnogram Shako plate, gleaming in the flourescant light. Herzenstein noticed Magdeburg was going through a large ammount of papers. He was signing them rather quickly. He kept doing his work as he spoke to Herzenstein.

"So what have you got so far." Magdeburg inquired, signing a paper.

"We have pieced together that there is some complicity within the lower levels of the army, and maybe even in the Imperial Guard. This infection runs deep. We may be forced to use...erm...unconventional methods to deal with the problem areas."

"Such as what?" Magdeburg looked up, arching his eyebrow..

"Such as, we may be required to enforce the laws prohibiting Catholicism, instead of just being lax. We may actually have to roll some heads to send the message accross as well." he paused, extremely upset with what he was about to say, "We may also want to consider declaring Martial Law in the Kingdom."

"Now," Magdeburg sighed contemplatively, "I think enforcing the laws against Rome will only worsten the problem...but I agree with your decision on Martial Law. I believe it is the only way to stop these people from winning. I will pass this along to the Emperor for consideration." he then returned to his work. He signed a paper, and as he slid it to the side, it fell off of the desk, wafting down to Herzenstein's feet. He picked it up:

Sapienza addressed the men from Belem assisting in the training. "We need them to be trained to hold a position effectively, and to take ground if necessary. To set traps, to make casualties, not take casualties."

The walked on through the woods outside of Katrineburg and saw men stabbing tires with bayonets and firing their weapons at targets. They were all dressed in civilian clothes. Then, they noticed a group of 15 men, dressed in Imperial Army Uniforms. They were walking by the perimeter of the training site. The insurgents began to pull their weapons before Sapienza calmed them, "They won't bother you. No worries."

*King Will the Great Museum*

"Step right this way." a man in a red vest motioned the large group of people with cameras. "The 10AM tour begins in just a moment." The group waddled their way towards the museum entrance...a grand arch carved from limestone with the House of Thompson Royal Crest atop it. That Crest hadn't been in official use for nearly 20 or 30 years. It was a small palace built by King Will Thompson the First, father of King Will the Great (the Second).

"Located twenty miles outside of Reichsburg," the tour guide began, "Katrineburg was the traditional home for the Kings since the 1620s after the riots in Reichsburg caused it to be unsafe to reside in the cities. The first palaces built here stand as a monument to the extravagences of the Pre-Thompson dynasties. In particular, focus is turned towards King Charles XVI, who built the largest palace ever constructed in Reichskamphen. Its squarefootage in usable floorspace, not simply storage, is nearly 8 acres. This, coupled with the three other smaller mansions built on the grounds as guest houses and places to stay in the 100 acre gardens, cost the people of Reichskamphen nearly one fourth of the Gross Domestic Product during every year of the later half of the 1600s.

Since 1702, though, the year King Alexander Thompson the First took the throne, the palace has been in disuse, a stark reminder of the Catholic Crown that was cast away by choice of the people. The Chapel on the grounds of the Palace was the location where the last legal Mass took place in Reichskamphen in Decembre of 1701." he paused allowing the information to sink in. "Now if you will follow me." The tourguide walked up steps and entered the palace. It was austere and simple. Few ornate decorations. What stood out though, were the huge columns on the sides. Powerful. Tall.

"King Will the First Built this Palace in 1978 in order to make a smaller, more modest, yet still Royal home for himself and his family. He lived here only two months before matters of state obligated him to return to his ancestral home in Reichsburg and inhabit the pre 1620 Palace on Palatine Hill, since destroyed in 1991 by Republican troops in the First Scottan War. His son always used this Palace as a vacation home when he could, and towards the latter years of his life, actually lived here 9 months out of the year. He often remarked it was his favourite place to be." the tourguide then motioned the group to follow as they headed down a large hallway.

"Here we see the exhibit containing some items from the military campaigns King Will the Great fought in. He was first and foremost a King with a sword. He dealt death to the enemies of the Reich with swift accuracy. The first large campaign he commanded the Reich armies in was the Akillian Wars in which the Emperor of Akilliam broke away from the Reich and attacked Iesus Christi. In return, Matthew Iesus issued the order for Reich forces, under the command of King Will to invade Akilliam and return it to the fold. With a feigned invasion to the south, the Akillian forces shifted, giving Will enough time to land men in the north and east to create the two giant pincers he would use to destroy the Akillian Army. Ships of the Kriegsmarines blockaded the nation and sailed the rivers. Soon, the 6th legion and the Akillian Imperial Marines were brought to bear on the Lignum Crucis Division of the Royal Army of Reichskamphen. In a one day battle, the Akillian forces were crippled and the back of their army was broken, causing a massive breakout, and the subsequent surrender of the Emperor, just before forces entered the Capitol. These eagle standards you see before you were kept by King Will and they are the standards of the Akillian 6th Legion and Imperial Marines, and even and Imperial Guard standard."

It was night. The moon cast a blue glow on the grass which extended for a shortways before running into a house with white vinyl siding. A little dog yipped in the yard. Yanking forward on its chain, jumping up and down at the shadows in the darkness. It stopped yipping. A sign in the front yard, akin to an election sign said, "Emperor Paisley, God's Man for the Job".

A gloved hand deftly turned the knob, checking to see if it was locked. It was not. Slowly opening the door, being mindful that the hinges did not squeak, he slinked through, low to the groud. Suddenly he crouched down behind the kitchen table. The fridge door opened up, illuminating half of the room in its warm glow. A little girl, no more than five years old struggled to reach a glass of milk perched on the top shelf of the fridge. Her eyes grew wide with terror as a hand slipped over her mouth pressing tightly. She screamed but no sound came out. "Suffer the children unto me." the man whispered as he took a knife from the kitchen counter, and slit her throat from ear to ear. The blood poured like a waterfall as she fell to the floor hemoraging horribly. Her eyes screamed "HELP!" but her vocal chords had been cut, so she could scream nothing. He then took the selfsame knife and touched it to her chest. He saw her eyes grow wider. He could almost hear the crying as he slid the knife in, slicing through tissue, until it hit bone, her ribcage. He looked into her eyes, the tears pouring and mingling with the blood. Those brown glistening eyes, they pleaded with him to stop, to save her. He smiled, and put all his weight on the knife, sending it through the ribcage and into her heart. He could hear the snapping of muscles and the grinding of metal against bone...within a few seconds she was dead.

The men continued down the hall where they found her little baby brother asleep in his crib. He awoke, smiling, with a little giggle. His eyes bright, alive with wonder and yearning for knowledge. The man reached out and touched his stomache. It held in a giggle. He picked the baby up and held him in his arms, the biggest brightest smile accross its face. He placed his hand on the back of the baby's head, and twisted until he heard a snap. He laid the lifeless infant back in his crib as he continued down the hall. The mother had been stirred by the Baby's sounds. She had gotten up. A silenced pistol knocked her back down before she could make a sound. When she fell to the ground, the husband woke up and rushed out of the door. "Honey! Are you ok?" The man swung a short sword and the man fell to his knees, then forward, prone on the ground, as his head rolled away, settling four feet away from the rest of his body.

The next morning, the neighbours awoke to find a big red "X" in the front lawn and blood spattered on the Paisley sign. When they went over to investigate, they found the gruesome scene. On the walls, written in blood was, "Jesus Saves: Paisley Kills"

"I am glad you asked." the tourguide said, a glint appearing in his eyes as he took stock of the men, "They were offered back to the Akillian army, but they were refused, and given as gifts to the King himself. They said that he earned them. He said that he earned nothing and all the glory was due to God. He kept them as a symbol of the triumph of Christian soldiers of the Lignum Crucis Division, Lignum Crucis meaning wood of the cross, over the pagan and athiest Akillians. Christ overcomes all foes."

After the tour ended, the tourguide took the men aside. "We are ready to begin the next tour." he took them down the same hall, but slid back a secret panel, that lead to an outside door, which lead to the sprawling gardens. Through the overgrowth of the untended gardens, they could see Briarstadt Palace, the largest palace in the Kingdom. As they walked on, they cut through the thick brush...the last time the garden was tended was under King Marcus, five years ago. They then arrived at a small fountain...long since dried up. He pushed at one of the sculptures which slid back with ease...it was on a track. When the sculpture was moved, it revealed a long, dark tunnel. The men climbed inside and began to walk. nearly 15 minutes later, the walls of the stone on the tunnel changed from a new white stone, to an older gray, medieval looking boulder style rock. The tunnel seemed to go on forever. When it finally ended, there was a rock wall. The men seemed disheartened until the tourguide pushed in a stone, causing the entire wall to slide to the side. They then entered the famed pearl room in Briarstadt Palace, A room paneled almost entirely with thick mother of pearl, studded with real pearls along the side and gold filagree everywhere. "Welcome, gentlemen." A man in a gray Imperial Army uniform called out to them. "I assure you, I am on your side." he said, urging them to put away their pistols. "I am Oberst (Colonel) von Lichtenstein, commaner of the Army of the Virgin's Sword for this province. Welcome."

"MOMMY!!!" the little girl screamed as she stared on in horror. Her mother's legs had been broken by the Anti-Crown troops. She pulled with her hands, frantically dragging herself along in the street, the dirt and rocks gauging into her skin, which was oozing blood and caked with filth. A soldier in a brown face mask ran to the woman dragging herself along and knelt down beside her, watching, as one would watch a slug crawl accross a sun baked sidewalk. He laughed. The air whipped past his machete blade as it slammed down onto her wrist, cutting off her left hand, then her right. "MY BABY!" the woman screamed hysterically, crying hot tears, blood coming of her mouth and caked dry around her nose. She used her elbows to pull herself along the dirty street as a veritable fountain of blood gushed from the place where her hands used to be, washing the dirt from her arm. She felt cold.

"Ha look at this, Nigel!" the soldier called to his buddy. He forced open her mouth, took a pocket knife, and cut out her tongue. Then he slid the small blade into the eye socket, rotated it around, and popped both of her eyes out. Afterwards, he took the selfsame knife and lopped off both of her ears. "See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no Evil!" he laughed uproariously.

"What the hell are you doing!" Count von Herzenstein yelled to the soldiers. He ran up to them in shock, seeing the poor woman, gushing blood inching towards her baby girl. He took his service revolver and shot both soldiers in the head. As he turned to the woman, she collapsed, dead of bloodloss. He took the child over his shoulder and began to run towards the rear. He saw it again. Soldiers gang raping a woman. He shot every single one of them. They were everywhere. Soldiers murdering, raping, pillaging. He shot, and shot, and shot. He didn't even notice himself reload. Men dropped left and right, pieces of skull and brain flying left and right. He put the girl down from his shoulder, but she collapsed, her face a bloody pulp.

Count von Herzenstein bolted upright in bed awaking from his dream...sweat pouring off of his face.

"And they sent me to jail for ordering that attack..." he turned over. "I ordered it stopped, but I didn't order it."

Islam is a counterfeit religion. It is one falsehood stacked upon another contrived by a liar and a cheat who came in the guise of a profit. Mohammedanism is one of the most foul forms of farce and deciet ever foisted upon this world. GOD'S CURSES upon ANYONE who preaches ANY OTHER GOSPEL but that presented in the infallible Word of God, the Bible.

I stand here today in opposition to any type of falsehood. However, I as the Emperor of Greater Prussia, it is also my responsibility to ensure that religious freedom is guaranteed to her peoples. I will fight for the rights of my people, no matter what faith they hold. For these reasons, I allow Islam to carry on as long as it does not threaten the state.

This was the same position I held on Roman Catholicism. It was my intent to reverse the law laid down in the 1600s outlawing it. But now, as terrorists have risen up, I cannot in good conscience do that!

I pray, O Lord, to be given the chance to allow the freedom I desire to have given to my people. May your grace work in the hearts of these insurgents and shine light into them that their strong delusion that lead them to believe a lie should be wiped away. We pray that they may lay down their arms so that justice may be done and freedom be allowed to reign again.

God give us the victory.

The country side sounded with explosions all over the USRWC States of Lletlla, Oreh, and Noitide (Click here for Map of Country) (http://www.rightwingconspiracies.net/usrwc/map.htm). Thousands of power lines, cell phone towers, phone lines, cable lines, and gas lines destroyed. The fields of the states ablaze from the recent terrorist attack, were obvious due to them being the three states with the largest influence within the Senate, and all 3 having all but unanimously backed the motion for action to be taken.

At the same time, the President, Secretary of Defense, Secretary of States, Attorney General, Secretary of Homeland Security, and the FBI and the CIA Heads were all on a plane headed for Reichskamphen to meet with Revered Paisley, and to set up for the Royal Guard to have outposts within USRWC.

President Conners looked over at Count Oberhausen,
"So, how are things in Reichskamphen, besides the attacks...hopefully it hasn't decimated your economy or taken the lives of your leaders? And how is Paisley, I've yet to see him since I won re-election 4 years ago, is he still in good health?"

"Well, things are going pretty well. It seems the terrorists in our nation have opted for more of a mental assault. They are simply doing ghastly crimes to strike fear into the civilian population instead of damaging assets. Why this is...we don't know. We have on good information that foreign agents are now in the Country. We expect that Belem or another Inquisition style country is involved, but we don't have any proof as of yet.

As for the Emperor, his health is slowly failing. He is very old, in his late 70s. He may abdicate as soon as the crisis is over, but keep this top secret. He is being treated for an unspecified illness, the Imperial Family won't release the info to anyone even in the government, infact, no one in the country knows that he isnt in peak condition. We all suspect it is Cancer (OOC: The same is true for the RL Dr. Paisley. He deserves our prayers as he is very sick)."

Several hours later they landed in Reichsburg where they were conveyed by limousine to the Royal Palace. The Emperor and Count von Magdeburg, head of the Armies, met them at the door. "Welcome!" Paisley yelled out in his thick, Northern Irish accent. "So glad you could come." he shook the hands of the President and those accompanying him.

They walked in to the Emperor's Study. He groaned as he sat down. "Now, we have alot of business to attend to. First and foremost we need to take care of those terrorists. The terrorism problem seems to be far more pronounced in your country than in mine, so I believe that is where the attention should be turned. We would like to set up an Imperial Guard office in your country and recruit from your population and army. These men would be under the pay and command of the Imperial Government and would work in conjunction with your state security forces. We would also supplement the Guard raised from your populus, with an entire division of the Guard from the rest of the Empire. The Sola Fide division is covering most of Reichskamphen Militarily. The Soli Deo Gloria division is free to march to your land though and combat the insurgency. We would also like to set up an Imperial Gendarmes office. They operate like an Imperial FBI. I give them the authority they need to get the job done. They work in conjunction with your forces just as the FBI works with local police forces. We would like to set up two offices in your country due to the size of the insurgency. These offices would cover your country and assist us in finding the source and putting an end to the insurgency."

President Conners: "First let me say it's so great to see you again Reverend Paisley; and yes it seems that the terrorism is much more pronounced in my country than here, unfortunately. I've already discussed the idea of allowing the offices of your Imperial Gendarmes and Imperial Guard Offices in our country and all in all, we like it. But there is one rule my Attorney General asks, in agreement with my Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense...we ask that both the Gendarmes and Imperial Guard keep our Law Enforcement notified, mainly our FBI and CIA. While we trust your operations in all entirety, we still like to remain in control of what happens in our country."

Secretary of State Burton:
"Yes Mr. Paisley, we are most honored for your operations to take place in our country but we do like to keep tabs on everything going on..."

Meanwhile in the State of Oreh, the Governor, Damon Morrison, was just addressing his constituents when an explosion tore through the stage under him, engulfing the Governor in smoke, fire, and debris. He felt the stabbing pain of a large splinter of wood in his ribs and cried out for help. The only sounds he could hear from beyond the stage now, was gunfire and the helpless screams as he heard Latin being screamed followed by bursts of gunfire. He blacked out....

"Of course we would keep you notified." Count von Magdeburg replied. "That is the policy of the Guard and the Gendarmes. I run the guard for now, but the Gendarmes is run by my protege GeneralFeldMarschall Count von Herzenstein. He has been doing some good work. If you wish to speak with him, we can get him in here too."

"Yes," Paisley sighed, "I want some tea. He rang a bell and a butler entered the room.

"Yes your highness."

"Rev. Paisley. please, Mark, God is the only one who is higher than you."

"Of course Rev. Paisley."

He smacked his dry, parched tongue together and said, "I would like a cup of Hot Earl Gray." turning to the others, "would you like something?"

After the drink orders had been taken, he turned back around to the delegation. "Now I was wondering, have any of my Free Presbyterian Churches been attacked in your country? Also, just a bit of info...our friend von Herzenstein in the Gendarmes made a big discovery the other day. Apparantly, the Anglican Church is helping alot of these insurgents due to their similarities to Papists. Heck...they pretty much are."

Count von Magdeburg's eyes grew wide.

From the resistance, you will be given actual Imperial Gendarmes papers, uniforms and all necessary accoutrements. Your men under false identity will be placed in the Imperial Gendarmes, and along with three other real Gendarmes sent to the Capitol of Derscon to replace five men who are leaving.

The FBI Director Charles Winget looked at Magdeburg "Well...I personally disagree wit.."
He was cut off by a sharp glare from Attorney General Grant Lecher, "I represent the Law Enforcement of our Country" Lecher said "And we'd be more than glad to host the Gendarmes and the Guard in our country, both the FBI and CIA will be in full cooperation."

The Military Aide that carries the "Nuclear Football" for the President on trips such as this interrupted the conversation "Mr. President, there's been another attack..three states, 4 explosions...Lletlla we believe to be hit the worst..not only with explosives but with insurgents and the Governor presumed to be dead..."

"Oh my...oh my..." Paisley's jaw hung open. "Let us say a prayer." He bowed his head. "Lord, we pray that you will watch over and protect those who were injured in the latest attacks. We pray that you will comfort them in their time of sorrow. We also pray for the families of those injured and those deceased and pray that you will raise up those who have died to life eternal in your everlasting Kingdom. We pray also for President Conners, give him strength in this time of tribulation. Keep him strong and keep him loyal to the Gospel above all else. And we also pray for our Empire. May you bless Greater Prussia and keep her people safe from evil and violence. In Jesus name we pray....Amen." he raised his head up. "I am guessing that you will probably need to go. The Imperial Guard will escort you to your plane. You will be safe."

President Conners face became flushed after the prayer as he stood up and said his quick goodbyes "My Secretary of State will stay to further these talks Reverend, however you are correct and I must go..." He hurried out the door followed by the Military Aide, Hannover, and the FBI and CIA Heads.

As he was aboard the plane he looked over at Hannover "Ok...what the hell do we know and when did we know it?" His exasperated tone was obvious, from little to none sleep and the heaping amounts of stress, "Well we know that Lletlla is under Insurgent attacks and that the Governor is presumed dead. Troops are in position to strike, and I'll give the order the moment you give me permissi.."

"Order the strikes! I want that state cleared of Catholic scum right now. Shut our borders, no one crosses on either side without my say-so and we're putting the country under temporary martial law until this crap gets cleared up."

To: General Duke Victor Orsinni, Commander of Soli Deo Gloria Division, Imperial Guard

From: Emperor Rev. Dr. Ian R.K. Paisley

Due to the attacks in RWC, your transfer to there has been expedited. You are to be mobilized and in the state of Lletlla in 8 hours. Take every piece of armour and equipment you have. You will need it. God Speed.

Rev. Ian R.K. Paisley
Emperor Greater Prussia
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Duke Orsinni looked at the map. "8 hours...hes insane." he sighed out. Two hours to mobilize and atleast an 8 hour trip after that..."No, we can do it." he thought. "We will leave what we have to behind and have it air dropped to us when we arrive, or when we need it."

Everywhere men were scrambling. Getting their effects together, eating their last meal before embarking. "Lets go! We're leaving now! Take only what you desperately need!" he yelled as he walked down the asphault on which the tanks sat.

Due to a miracle of logistics, the entire Soli Deo Gloria division was on its way within 30 minutes.

As the plane landed within the State of Silmaril at JMC Naval Base (Silmaril being one of the neighboring states of Lletlla), President Conners was finishing a cup of coffee and dressing into a fresh suit and tie, and leaving the place to talk with Military Commanders.

"Ok Gentleman, we're placing the country under Martial Law...Curfew at 10pm unless given specific permission from the local sheriff, I also want background checks done on every government official within this country, this was an inside job and we need to know who's on the inside that shouldn't be."

The Marine Corps Commadant, the Navy's Top Admiral, the Army's 5-Star General, and the Air Forces Advisor were furiously taking notes and readying for battle.

Attorney General Lecher glared at President Conners "I need to speak with you Mr. President..." and he walked into another room followed by Conners "What the f*** are you thinkin..."
Conners: "Don't start with me on this Lecher, especially with that tone of voice. I called martial law, I do not have to go through you...now if you want to keep dissenting then I suggest you pack your things and get ready to head back to Conspiratoria D.C. where you can clean out your office. I do not have time to deal with your 'suggestions' right now. If you had done your job in the first place...we wouldn't be here." and Conners turned around and walked out, leaving Lecher with alot to chew on.

A call came through to the Naval Base on a Secure Ground Line "This is President Conners. Ah thank you so much Reverend Paisley, your support is much appreciated and your men will be treated as one of our own." Conners looked at the Military Brass at the Table "Gentlemen....reinforcements are on the way, Reichskamphen is sending.... a very large force from the south to help defend Lletlla from a total Insurgent take over....which will free us to start monitoring the rest of our states and preventing this from happening again."

President Conners turned away and walked down the corridor barking at a Young Lieutenant "Lieutenant, get me my House Press Aide here now, I need to address the Nation and the Region."

*Nine hours later, Lletlla, RWC*

The 2nd Panzer Brigade and the 6th Grenadier Brigade arrived at the city of Enohp, the main city in the state. Reichsfuhrer XXI-G Main battle tanks patrolled the streets of the city along with APC's and Armoured Panzer Grenadier troop carriers. There was a Grenadier of the Imperial Guard on every stretch of the street. General Orsinni rode through the streets in his armoured command car. On the back of his and every vehicle, were small, but powerful speakers to broadcast his voice to the Populus. He took a deep breath and pressed the button on the mic.

"This is General Victor Caldara, Duke of Orsinni, Commander of the Soli Deo Gloria Divison of his Majesty, Ian Paisley the First's Imperial Guard. This city is hereby under marshall law by order of your President Conners and confirmed by Emperor Paisley himself. Please go to your homes. Anyone on the street without permission after 10 o'clock, that is, 30 minutes from now, will be shot without question. If you know any information about the Insurgency, please report it to your local Imperial Guardsman, or Gendarme and he will pass it on to the proper authorities. The sooner the insurgency stops, the sooner Marshall law will be rescinded and the sooner we will leave. That is all."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Elsewhere in Lletlla, the 50,000 men of the Soli Deo Gloria Division were moving into the smaller cities and towns, enforcing the Presidents orders. The entire province was under complete military lockdown due to the quick action of the Guard.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Why the Hell did you do that!?" Magdeburg fumed at Emperor Paisley.

"Because it needed to be done Fred, thats why."

"You can't just order the Guard in, I have to do that!" He placed his hands on the desk, almost in Paisley's face.

"Fred..." he took a breath trying to maintain his calm, "get your hands off my desk and back away." Magdeburg realized what he was doing, and made a visible attempt to calm himself, slowly backing away from the desk. "Fred, I am the Emperor...I do as I please. The Imperial Guard is MY Guard...my personal Guard. I have the authority to order it to do anything that I please. You, for your part, will ensure that my orders are carried out, and will make DOUBLY sure that they are carried out well."

Magdeburg stared on blankly. Without a word, he walked out of the office.

In the forests outside of Conspiratoria D.C. the single Marine marched under gun point until coming to a series of rolling hills, he knew that he was heading towards Looking Glass Lake near the middle of the state. He tossed the idea over in his mind countless times, trying to figure out why a Senator, one of the sworn leaders and defenders of this country could so easily backstab his fellow countrymen. The Marine stopped and turned around "Senator...why? It was your speech at my high school 2 years ago that led me to this very position....why did you mislead us? Why did you betray us?" the young mans voice was full of fear but also full of dignity, something that seemed to bother the Senator Ball. "I'm sorry you seemed to believe I'm 'misleading' our country, but this was the perfect chance to have a revolution and support my heritage. I am Catholic, and this country is in ruins...it's time for a change and I'm supporting the change by any means neccessary."

President Conners watched monitors showing the News coverage of the Marshall Law taking place in Lletlla, now the obviously most infested terrorist State in the Country. "What the hell is the media doing out and about, lets just give the terrorists live feeds of streets and locations! Get the news in that State shut down temporarily." he said sounding very cross. "What's the news on the Governor?" he asked looking at Attorney General Lecher "No word on him Mr. President...he's still presumed dead...which is a safe assumption."

Conners:
"Bah, is my Media Aide here yet?" .... "Good have him make an announcement to the states to have their TV's and Radio's on in 4 hours, I'm addressing the nation."

The President stood looking at himself in the bathroom mirror, he splashed some water on his fatigued looking face, and he was badly in need of a shave. He began to think of how to explain what was going on to his people, and keep them from rejecting what he saw as a short solution to a short problem. There was a knock on the door.

Conners: "Just a second" He opened the door after drying off his face. "Yes Leche..." was all he said as the Attorney General launched a punch and hit him in the face.

Lecher: "You idiot! First Marshal Law! Second, You REPRESS THE MEDIA?! Are you out of your mind?! This is the United States of Right Wing Conspirators, not a dictatorship, did you even bother to call together the Senate?!"
He screeched, soon followed by being pushed to the floor by Secret Service

SS Agent: "Are you alright Mr. President?"

Conners: "Yes Robertson, just a busted lip...I want him put in the brig until we've cleared this mess up."

SS Robertson: "Yes sir."

"Now get walking again, you're going to be my ticket to a revolution." Ball said coldly.

Marine: "I can't do that sir, you'll have to kill me right here...I won't be the item for barter for the downfall of our nation." his stern and firm voice caught Ball offguard.

Ball: "Well if that is the case Marine, kneel down, I'll at least give you a clean death for being so forthright."

The Marine knelt down and he heard the unsheathing of a sword, and he began saying the Marine's pledge out loud. "I pledge to defend and honor my country; I pledge to uphold her beauty and her justice; I pledge to her citizens the rights that God gave them; I pledge to uphold our constitution; I pledge to destroy her enem..." were the last words that came from the Marine's mouth as Ball hacked his head off and kicked his lifeless body to the ground.

Ball: "Pathetic....but touching."

Christoph: "Cardinal Ball, why has he been slain by your sword? This man surely was not our enemy?"

Ball: "My son, you must realize the foes of your Lord and the Virgin Mary, are your foes and mine as well."

"Saint Ignatius Loyola, intercede for us, and forgive us for what we are about to do." a man in inconspicuous jeans and a tshirt said, turning his gaze to the skies. The moon shone brightly, reflecting off the stagant pools of water on the damp asphault of the streets. Reichsburg was a cold place at night. His breath formed billowing clouds infront of him as he stuffed his hands inside his pockets and walked accross the street. A car passed by and turned into an alley as he hustled to the other sidewalk. He looked up at the sign on the building, "Imperial Gendarmarines Headquarters". Two Gendarmes stood outside, rifles in ready position and, scanning accross the street with their ever vigiliant eyes. The man called out to them, "Pardon me officers!" they glanced in his direction, still scanning around to ensure nothing was going awry. He jogged up to them, trying to quickly but not too suspiciously close the distance between them. "My little girl is lost!" he said frantically, "I can't find her anywhere and who knows what could have happened on these streets at night!"

"Do you have a picture of her?" the one Gendarme asked while his partner continued to scan the horizon.

"Yes, but its small." he pulled out his wallet and produced a very small wallet sized picture, placing his left hand back in his pocket. The other Gendarme turned his head to look at the picture. Then suddenly, the pan with the picture, pulled his other hand out of his pocket producing a knife and with one quick stroke halfway decapitated the man before he even knew what was going on and another man jumped the other guard from behind, placing razorwire on his neck. He pulled hard as he hear the tendons snap one by one, then the jugulars as a fresh gush of blood came, then, right inbetween one of the vertebrae went the razor wire and his head slid right off of his shoulders and fell to the ground. Quickly pulling the corpses aside, they gave the signal and the other people who seemed to be just walking the street, turned about, producing assault rifles and all walked up to the entrance of the building. The man with the picture glanced quickly in the small window on the door. He saw a single guard in a chair by the door, fast asleep. He quietly opened the door and slipped through without a sound. Then, he accidentally released the door and it slammed shut. No sooner had the guard opened his eyes to see what the noise was than had his vocal chords, and indeed his entire throat been cut. He fell to the ground clasping his neck, in a vain effort to keep the blood in. As they looked up from the dead corpse, the intruders saw a Gendarme, frozen, staring at them with a cup of coffee in his hand. They looked at eachother for what seemed forever, before he broke and tried to run. A silenced pistol was produced and he was shot straight in the back of the head. He tripped and fell after the wound, and the coffee cup went flying in the air. One of the men lunged forward and inches from the ground, caught the cup before it could shatter, alerting others.

The gunmen moved forward and entered into the basement. As they walked down the steps, the reached up the wall to flip on the light switch. They found it, but it didn't work. It was black as pitch. None could even see their hand infront of their face. "His office is on this floor, I know it, we just have to find the light." he whispered softly. The man felt around blindly for a few minutes. Finally, he felt what appeared to be a lamp, he followed the base of the lamp up to near the bulb where he found a switch to turn it on. He flipped it and the room became illuminated. Looking at the lamp he whispered, "Whaddaya think, Eddie, am I smart?" there was no response. "Eddie?" he turned around to see Eddie's body laying in the floor in a pool of his own blood just like every other man from the team. And standing around them, were 15 Imperial Gendarmes. "Drop your weapons." Count von Herzenstein commanded the man.

"There you are." the man smiled. "We were looking for you." He flipped the switch on his detonator. A split second later, the dynamite vest the man was wearing exploded violently, throwing shrapnel everywhere, slaughtering wholesale the Imperial Gendarmes. The ceiling collapsed as support beams were taken out and then the entire building fell in on itself in a great ball of flame.

"My fellow countrymen, I must first start off by apologizing for the inconvienence of marshal law and the troops that are now ever so present in our country. My decision for Marshal Law was not an easy one, but it had to be done. The Governor of Lletlla is dead, a squad of Marines are missing, 38 innnocents mercilessly gunned down, and thousands lives lost and even more wounded in the recent bombings that scarred our country....these are the prices of war and they are not cheap or easily forgotten.

I am here to announce that through intelligence gathering, and cooperation with Reichskamphen and our Military, the terrorists within our nation...shall soon be obliterated or brought before our courts for the Justice of those who have died. Within the next half-hour we will mark the beginning of Operation Justice. Just be comforted knowing that soon Marshal law will be done, and our country once again safe from these terrorists, these villians."

The Presidential Seal then slid onto screen and the broadcast was cut.

Conners stood up and loosened his tie. "Get me Hannover in the War Room, I want complete and total coverage of Operation Justice in front of me at all times. We're clearing up this mess now."

"Your orders are to sweep this country clean from stem to stern. As you are now in the Province of Lletlla, You are to enter every city and small town and search everywhere possible for these terrorists. Execute them publically and make examples out of them. If anyone resists you, they are cooperating with the terrorists and are to be shot on sight.

Your Emperor is praying for your safe return and has sent me his sincerest hopes for your wellbeing and safe return as well as his desire that you should fight honourably and serve the Crown with all of your ability. I know you shall do this and much more. Rain death on the enemy and they shall not return tommorrow.
