"Curses!" said President Susan Aglukark as the news of Greenland's elimination was brought to her. She ordered hockey commissioner Big Bobby Clobber flogged and then banned him from the country.

Greenland fans' eyes are rivetted on the "clash of the befuddled," Walmington on Sea against Tanah Burung. In fact, Aglukark has decided to hire one Arthur Lowe, an aging Walmingtonian duffer last seen impersonating a priest, to replace Clobber as coach-in-chief next season.

"Bugger it," she said. "If you can't beat 'em, hire 'em."

Oh, while I'm at it...

Nice 2nd place to Tanah Burung

Thanks to the few supporters I had for this season. At least Starblaydia's been around all season long. And there's a few others thankful I've been going with this the past few months thick and very very thin. I know it's been a pretty weird ride. But well, I helped keep the Cherry Cup going because nobody else wanted to. And now since I've apparently screwed up so horribly - this makes this upcoming season and future ones even better.

I at least enjoyed the season anyway. It was fun doing this whole process, and carrying on a major NationStates championship. Several ideas I had early on flopped, like the offsite board and the dice scoring. (In hindsight, that offsite board wouldn't have been bad with the two week layoff to the Jolt move.) And I'm looking forward to competiting in the next Cherry Cup.
