Allanea, the Axackal Border

"Did Stage One of our little police go action go through fine?"

"Not really, sir. We've only caused limited damage."

"It's fine. Do I understand correctly that we are stupid enough to have full 100 infantry divisions on the Axackal border."

"Sir, it's not stupid . The UNAPS...."

"[i]Fuck the UNAPS, they are not currently a thread. I want you to attack here. With 50 divisions."
The general points to a small strip of land on the Kyzyl Orda border, just miles from where it mets the Corrheia border.
"Concentrate our forces there. There's lots of mines there, so expect to take heavy losses."

"Yes, sir."

"Get the soldiers on the trains NOW."

"Yes, sir!"

The adjutant storms out of the room.

48 HOURS LATER

"Go! Go! Go!"

With the roar of engines, the screaming of Sergeants and the clanking of tracks, the Allaneans cross the Kyzyl-Orda border. For the first 20 kilometers, nothing happen.
Then, the Allanean armoured monsters grind to a halt.

"Whoa. That's one monster of a minefield."

"Yes. Those bozo have..." the commander checks a manual... "40,000 square kilometers covered in minefields. That's about the space of the Province of Axackal"

"Sh&t"

"Sh$t is the right word. OK, we have about 200 engineering troops per division. 10,000 total. I want these guys to start working in shifts. Around the clock. We need a corridor at least ten kilometers wide, and we need it ASAP"

"Yes, sir!"

In the meanwhile, 1,000 JV helicopters fly above the minefield, low, at only about 10 meters of height. They are flying at about 300kph - and will traverse the minefields in several minutes.

The aide ran throuh the corridoors banging open doors as he went, he gt quicker and quicker heading for Saddam Fadid's office.
"Sir they need you in the map room... NOW!"
Saddam looked up, jumped up and run with the aide, they entered the "map room" which contained the "eye of allah" supercomputer.

"Norther border of the empire now..."

"As you can see we have this concentration of troops here"
the aide had grabbed a glove and pointed and circled the obvious disturbace on the normally tranquil map.
"We can beat the crap out of them with the artillery quite easily, we can hit them with 450 of our guns, we also have some of the deep remote controlled mines right underneath them aswell which should be entertaining."

Saddam nodded.
[i]"Ok, set off the charges, then a few minutes later begin a concentrated bombardment on them, we'll break them before they even get far in"

The aide nodded and brough up a command menu on the floating screen.


The Explosions were large and would rip through many Allaneans.

In the desert something stirred, the sand shook and move, the guns were revealed in all their splendour, they had been painted in the colour of the sand making them fairly hard to spot, especially so far away, 450 shels a minute rained onto the Allanean troops.

"Oh no."

The explosions leave about 150 Allanea soldiers (support troops mainly) wounded, 50 dead, and damage a tank carrier.

Then the shells come. While notoriously inaccurate, they still manage to kill about 300 Allaneans in the first two hours.

"Do we have sattelite image yet?"

"Yes, sir. We can see those cannon. Pretty big muzzle flashes, there."

"Nice. Just what we need. Fire up the Abu Abbas launchers We have about, what, 5,000 of them in the Corps?"

"Right."

"Good. I want them to be firing missiles. At a rate of about 500 missiles each ten minutes until every last cannon is obliterated."

"Yes, sir!"

"How deep in are the Engineers?"

"About 800 meters, Sir."

"Good. Can they speed it up."

"I don't know, I can certainly tell them to try, Sir."
