Today the first set of viral bombs was tested in a contained and controlled enviroment. While most have deemed such weapons unethical the Steel Legions leader Ursakar Dresk has refused to disarm these weapons. We attempted to reach the ursakar for comment but he refused to see the press or make any comments at the time except for being overheard saying "the viral weapons are almost ready, just a few more days and we will arm all our vessels with them." Whether or not he plans to use them has yet to seen.

Tonight we have a breaking story, viral weaponry has been launched on living targets, these viral bombs have been fired upon a group of militant muslims within the steel legions. They were captured and taken out to the testing zone where Ursakar Dresk released the virus on them. The virus apparently latches onto DNA strains and begins breaking them down. The virus is transmitable through the air and physical contact. Air filters are apparently of no use as the strain can move through them with little problem. Ursakar Dresk does have a counter virus ready and waiting should he have to use it. He recently released his plans to use this weapon on militant muslim groups such as Al-queda, he plans to bomb the mountains in Afgahnistan to root them out.

The nation of Phalanix is disguested by this and any ships carrying these viral weapons found in Phalanix space will be fire apon if they do not leave within an aloted time.

Secret IC from the public: The High Council is currently interested in these viral weapons and would like to know more about them for "research" purposes
