The Chinese National Education Ministry expresses their concern as the new educational education system implemented on the island. While it promotes Chinese sovereignity and culture and reveals the risk of Japanese imperalism and separatist traitors, it is still a covert approach to denounce the Regulated Republic under the name of "uncovering" the lies against China by the foreigners. With the new change, the education system poses a new risk as the militant leader continues to spread anti-Xinzhongguo (New China Reform policy) propaganda and endangers further relation between the governments.

"The Rotovian Government cannot and will not allow our sheer and unrestrained digust at these actions not to be noted to the international community. Whilst we have supported _Tawain on many occasions this does not diminish our primary goal to promote freedom and equality to all the world. The recent actions of _Tawain are not only digusting in nature but are so appauling that they sully the names of nations who would hold good diplomacy with them."

The government of Hudecia strongly deplores the removal of balanced teaching in the Taiwanese school system. Such an action is on level with the removal of teaching of Japanese atrocities in Japanese school system.

Of particular concern is the removal of the teaching of the atrocities commited by Chinese troops in Xinjiang during the recent conflict there. Hudecian troops both witnessed and intervened in such instances and refuses to believe that one of its allies would disrespect the service its troops commited in protecting China by ignoring this.

Based on such, the government of Hudecia threatens to take economic action against Taiwan unless they modify their plans.

The Sinoese Ministry of Education strongly supports this long awaited manouver! We wholeheartedly denounce those nations that dare to criticize the superior Chinese education systems with Taiwan's as an example. Rotovia is clearly asking for trouble as Sino has yet to retaliate on these subhumans for their support of Tibetan Independence.

Hey, Yao Ming, hand this to Yeh would ya?

Sure

Wow, Liu wants to become sworn brothers with Mr. Zhang, send this to Gen. Liu.

"General Liu, I am dearly compassionate of your recent plans to become sworn brothers with Zhang. I hope it will be fufilled, as I am a supporter of your government and having two of my most honoured heroes become sworn brothers seems like a magnificent event."

-Yeh

P.S. I have enclosed a package of two Imperial incense made from Palace sandlewood standing to be 10ft tall. There is a pack of 9. It is a token by me as support and honour to General Liu and General Zhang.

Xiaguo wishes to have Taiwan add the Hong Kong Democratic Movement, Tibet, and Xinjiang. And do not ban religious apparel, do you mean no one may wear a necklace depicting Jesus, a cross, Buddha, or w/e.

OOC:The French proposed that Turbans and scarves not be worn in public. Now, you can't say its discrimitory.

We also wish Taiwan to add a portarait of Sun Yat Sen in every state operated school.

Man, this thread wants me to start my own Educational Agenda. Anyone with me?

(Indeed. It would though, sadly, be unrealistic to expect that anybody outside the Choson People's Republic of Dra-pol would know what was going on in Drapoel schools. I suppose I could chalk it up to Kurosite Progress (which, incidentally, makes up about 90% of the curriculum). I'll refrain from having DaKhiem comment on the Taiwanese changes, too. Nobody needs Hotan telling them that they should, "display the Drapoel wheel of life and revolutionary progress, too, because you know it's coming soon, anyway".)

The Hudecian government, having received no reply as of yet from the Taiwanese authorities, proceeds by introducing a bill into Parliament that officially condemns the Taiwanese decision to exclude the Sinoese atrocities in the educational system.

Bill C-904: Condemnation of Taiwan

"1. Bearing in mind the example of Japan when it refused to allow criticism of its war record and the resulting effect it had on the Japanese society, the Hudecian Parliament hereby condemns Taiwan for refusing to aknowledge:

a) the Sinoese atrocities committed in Xinjiang
b) Chinese atrocities in the occupation of Tibet
c) the Hong Kong Democratic Movement

in its educational curriculum.

2. The Hudecian government hereby
a)recalls its ambassador to Taiwan and closes its embassy.
b)strips any Taiwanese officials in Hudecia of their diplomatic immunity.

3. Should the Taiwanese government refuse to alter its current state of mind, the Hudecian Parliament is authorized to meet after 1 week to discuss further measures to be taken.

Following a review of the cirriculum by teachers and selected students, the government has decided to re-introduce studies related to the Hong Kong democratic movement once again. This move is expected to be applauded by many in the international community.

To placate international concerns, the University of Taipei has added material to it's "Sinoese Military Analyst" degree about the Xinjiang incidents. (OOC: An extra sentence "It is rumoured that a small number of Sinoese troops committed atrocities but this is highly doubtful.")

The Xiannese Educational Board and Ministry has bought a shiptment of some of Taiwan's prototype books to review.

The United China Party also encourages Taiwan to publish a textbook on China and International Affairs to help promote understanding of Chinese Political effects and the world.

Xiaguo also encourages the learning of,
Japann War, Bonstockian War, Xinjiang Front, and the involvement of the Asian Alliance and the Chinese Coalition forces.

Xiannese foreign education analyists will visit Taiwan and investigate on the Taiwanese textbooks and curriculums (mainly on things that talk bad about Xiaguo and to make sure atrocities are listed.

XNA, Xiannese News Agency
"Minister Mao, how do you feel about Hudecia's stand against _Taiwan's reformed education curriculum? Are the Taiwanese doing enough?"

"The Taiwanese have already included the subject, Hong Kong:Democratic Movement into the Taiwanese curriculum. They have also added Atrocities committed by the Sinoese Millitary. They have included this subject only in the University Level, and that, is not quite enough. I think Taiwan should have this topic in the High School System, too."
-Minister of Education, Xiaguo-Mao Han Guang

"What is the Xiannese Educationas Ministry's stand on this issue?"

"The Ministry has been interested in this for a while since many of the wars have included Xiaguo in it. Many Xiannese veterans have witnessed the deeds and heroic efforts of the Sinoese, and also the brutal treatment and tactics done by the same people. We have to have the new age of Taiwanese to recognise this. We do not hate Sino, of course, but sometimes the Sinoese Government's policies have gone way too far.
The Xiannese government is planning to send Education experts totaiwan despite the fact that Prime Minister [Yeh Zhao Feng] is going to Taiwan on a state visit. They will be researching and will investigate the Taiwanese Education curriculums and classes."

"Thank You Minister Mao Han Guang

All state-funded schools must ban the wearing of religious apparel

The Republic of Syskeyia, while it generally has supported the Republic of China in the past, must condemn this ban on religious apparell, as it is contrary to the right of religious freedom, and is seen by our Republic as a notorious effort to forcibly secularize Chinese society.

God bless,

Hudecia Post:

Taiwan Revisits Educational Reform

The Taiwanese government reformed its educational policies in an attempt to stem growing international condemnation of its plans. It has reintroduced the Hong Kong Democratic Movement as a curriculum subject and has altered its content on Sinoese actions.

Hudecian Education Minister Jane Stewart was quick to dismiss the chages as 'cosmetic'. "We are looking for real change in the Taiwanese reforms and until we see them, Bill C-904 will continue to be debated and pushed through Parliament."

Bill C-904, which condemns the Taiwanese alterations has been the topic of fierce debate during Parliament sessions with some MPs hoping for a more tempered response and others looking for a more severe punishment. The Bill has passed both readings with the removal of clause 1c) and a full vote is expected tomorrow.

Protesters took to the streets of Toronto, where there is a significant Chinese and Taiwanese population. The two marches, one in support of the reforms and one in opposition came very close to meeting but Hudecian police were there to prevent any clashes.
