First of all, I'd like to say what a terrific audience you've all been. Really. God loves ya! It's been one whole year on this site, and I'd like to thank you all. Let's go through it by name...
On second thought, that'd take too long. Let's just say a big thank you.
Except to certain mods, who shall not be mentioned, who lied when they said that I wouldn't have to learn all new codes. Curse you.
Now, on a more serious note...
after some reflection, I've decided to completely drop Space-tech from any serious roleplays I might be doing. And I'm making that retrospective, as well. As some of you may have noticed, I've been avoiding space-tech since...at least March. While this was just because there were no space-tech threads that interested me, I've decided that I've been enjoying NS a lot more since I
'dropped' Space Tech, so I'm making that official. If Space-Tech nations really want me to do something, fine, but as far as I'm concerned it has nothing to do with the rest of my roleplays.
Actually, for most people who I've rped with since March, it will come as a surprise I ever used space techy.
I'll be keeping fantasy, for now, though I might try to steer away from Tolkien and more towards the ethereal stuff. I've also been reading a book to my little sister called the Amulet of Samarkand, and I'm amused with various concepts in there.
So, what's going on in the coming year? Well...firstly, in my current major timescale (NS 1950/Post-WW2, I don't think it's got a name yet), there's a vacancy to my immediate north...
Shadows of a Future Darkness is ticking along nicely now, so I'm viewing options along that line even though various parts of my plan seem to have come undone and I'm now playing by ear. I think that people are taking me too literally when I say things like 'oh, yes...come up with your own plotline and I'll just play along'. Still, it's been an interesting experiment for me, I look forward to finishing it, and I'd like to thank the Guinea Pi... roleplayers.
Finally, I've hit a timepoint which I like. I think I'll be keeping my current cast of characters for the remainder of my time on NS, with only a few minor additions and, as well as a return for some old friends...
