Xanthal

With the Boukyaku Event's destruction less than a day away, the Xanthalian government is preparing itself and its population for the complete interstellar communications blackout that the temporal anomaly's elimination will cause. Due to the intense distortion that will occur throughout both Xanthalian and border space, the Ministry of Communications and the Ministry of Transportation have agreed to shut down not only all audio, video, and data transmission technology during the duration of the distortion, but also to completely halt transportation outside of inter-system spacelanes already established between the Aellis and Than systems. The Boukyaku Event will take approximately three years to completely disperse, during which time it will be closely guarded by Armada forces. When the distortions cease at the end of the event's dispersal, the Xanthalian government will restore all normal communications links. In the mean time, the Triumvirate reminds the international community that the Socialist Republic has not abandoned them, it is simply putting the safety of the galaxy first by ensuring that the Boukyaku Event not be allowed to continue its existence. A general alert has also been issued to all international transport companies, warning them away from Xanthalian space while the Boukyaku Event is being destroyed. Citizens of the Socialist Republic, though regretful of their impending loss of contact with the universe beyond Xanthalian borders, have expressed a general feeling of optimism in that the blackout will be temporary and that they will all be safer for the Boukyaku Event's destruction. The communications cutoff will also mean the end of XNNInternational for three years, so this will be our final broadcast until the distortions have ceased. We would like to thank all our viewers and listeners for their patronage and assure everyone that we will return with fair and accurate news coverage of the Socialist Republic and the galaxy as soon as we can regain the airwaves. Until then good morning, good afternoon, and good night.
