The Flag: Resistencia’s current flag was adopted in 1906. The country’s official name is written in script on the top. On the bottom, are written the three principles upon which the country was founded. The hammer and sickle in the center represent the nation’s socialist government, and the surrounding stars represent the seven provinces united around the central government.
Notable Government Positions: The government of Resistencia supports the struggle of socialism and communism throughout the world. The government is extremely open to immigration from all nations especially third world countries. There is universal sufferage for all citizens above sixteen years of age. There is mandatory military service. There are no drug laws. All religions, ethnicities, and ideas are accepted with tolerance.
Terrain: Huge Mountain ranges in the north and along the eastern coast. The southeast portion of the country is made up of sprawling plains and low rolling hills. Another mountain range passes north to south through the center of the country. Resistencia has one main river which passes through the plains.
Climate: Resistencia posses a pleasant Mediterranean climate. The weather is hot and dry in the summer, and cool and wet in winter.
Natural Resources: Most of Resistencia’s natural resources come from the northern mountains. Here valuable resources of marble, copper, coal, and iron are mined and then sent south. The seas around Resistencia are full of many different forms of sea life. This abundance of marine biology plays a huge part of Resistencia’s food supply and exports.
