We are now approaching the city of Saskatchewan. Would all those departing the monorail at the North stop please prepare to disembark.

Kimberly, a reasonably mature 15-year-old, awoke with a start. "Oh no!" she exclaimed. "I missed my stop." Her monorail stop was supposed to be at her grandparent's village an hour to the north by monorail. She spoke to the conductor about her mistake.

"Well, miss, you'll have to pay us the money for the trip from your intended destination to Saskatchewan. The tickets are non-transferrable, so you'll have to wait it out 2 weeks in Saskatchewan, then buy a ticket from Saskatchewan to your original destination."

"Thank you." She gave him some money and gathered up her things. She would have to spend 2 weeks in the city, a frightening thought for a rural girl like her.

Karl O'neil a 17 year old guy who worked on his fathers farm sat in his 2003 Dodge Ram watching as people got off the train. He got out of the truck smoking a cigerette then ajusted his dark sun glasses as he seen the young girl get off the monorail. He pulled his cowboy hat down and strolled towards her smiling:

"hey, you look a little...lost?" he said quietly sticking his hands in the back pockets of his jeans

OOC:cool :) the first non-violent Rp i have ever been involved in...

Kimberly looked up at a cigarette-smoking guy with a truck. "Hi, I guess I sorta am lost." She told him the whole story, ending with, "And after I pay for my fare home, I only have 20.00 to last a whole 2 weeks. I suppose I sound pretty pathetic, don't I?"
Baccardi
27-06-2004, 23:59
He took off his sun glasses and smiled:

"20 dollars..."

Karl thought hard, he felt bad for the girl..she was alone and almost broke..

"alright..i have a buisness propisition for you, we need some help up at the ranch out side of town and well..are you good at workin around a kitchen and sorts like that?by the way im Karl"

He stepped his smoke out and stuck out his hand

"I'm Kimberly. I can cook fairly well. My mom loves my scrambled eggs, and I'm famous in my home town for my cookies." She hoped she didn't sound like she was conceited. "Thank you so much."
Baccardi
28-06-2004, 00:22
He pointed to the truck then walked over opening the door for her:

"watch out it's one hell of a step,"

He got in on the other side and smiled:

"it will work out fine Kimberly"

He turned on the music in the truck, he had a crazy sterio system in the back, 2 Square 10" kickers, 1200wtt AMP. Lincon park pounded as the drove off. A brand new Banshee 4X4 was on a trailer on the back:

"thats my new 4 wheeler"

he smiled at her...

Kimberly smiled. "I think I'll have a diet Sprite." She then said, "Oh, yes, I heard about that one on the Internet. I was the first in my village to know about it." She smiled as she added, "Did you hear about the exclusive interview with Chava Goldstein on e_news.te?"
Baccardi
28-06-2004, 01:27
He looked at her smiling and said while he pumped gass:

"what exactly happend, Nazi's searched my ranch and all....motorcycles,officer cars...guns everywhare..were they assisting us in somthing?"
Temme
28-06-2004, 01:31
"No. Mr. Ellis, Madison's father, was a high-ranked diplomat. He wanted to ensure good relations with Baccardi, so he tried marrying Madison off. Some Ryananian guy, I don't think we ever found out who, kidnapped Madison. I think that they were looking for her. I wonder if they ever found her. . ."
Baccardi
28-06-2004, 01:39
He put the pump back on the holder and said with a sigh:

"thats messed up..i seen a Nazi soldier in a black officers uniform riding around in a old Mercedes alot...he stopped at my ranch..not a bad guy.."

Agent Killian Darkwater was nearly thrown from his feet as the monorail ground to a stop... The fact that he'd stood for the entire trip hadn't helped any. He was in some backwater excuse for a city, far from any real action...

'Jesus, this is getting old...'

He thought to himself as he exited the train, limping slightly as the feeling returned to his legs. The Berretta stirred nervously under his left arm, mostly hidden by the tan trenchcoat he wore. Black sunglasses hid his green eyes from view, as well as accenting his movie-star quality looks. Killian paid the fare & exited the vehicle... Now it got interesting. There was obviously nothing of any intelligence value here... That meant it was vacation time...

Franklin Koch literally flew off the train, his one bag sliding to his side. "There." He brushed himself and picked up his bag and glared at the door of the monorail "Stupid doors.. Making me uh... trip..." he quietly mutter to himself.

Franklin was in his 20's, with Brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing khaki pants and a blue short-sleeve collared shirt. He had a a slight accent resembling German. He standing around wouldn't answer his questions, so he approached the closest two people, Jessica and Killian...

So this is where we've wound up ay girl? the blond thought as she stepped off the monorail and looked about the place.

God I wonder if Black and his boys even know I'm still alive. Of course that twit Alderman is laying in his own pool of blood, along with those he hired to get done She adjusted her hair and grapped her two bags. The gunny sack went over her shoulder as started to look around for some form of transport. The green eyes were hard in the face, she was likely in her fourties although most would have pegged her in her early thirties. A scared hand held the metal case to her side.

All I really want...what do I want?

Jessica turned to him and said, "Saskatchewan North stop." She turned to the girl and said, "About 20 or so."

OOC: Just for reference, girls are usually married by 17, and men by 19.

The woman acted like she was about to dress down the young woman and then stopped...She is not a middy needing to have her clock cleaned for not saulting...she's hell...she can't be married?

"I was refering to the age of the child mam..."

18-07-2004, 05:24
Franklin nodded and turned around. He reached into his pocket and dug out a Becel and 50 Becarls. "I'M BROKE!" Many people in the station turned and watched him scream those words in agony. "Oh jeez..", Franklin mumbled as he nervously looked at the people...

The woman gave Franklin an icy stare.

Why would any of us care...well you are sort of cute...I wonder if you'd do a little servicing work for a few Krondor boy? she thought dryly...
Temme
18-07-2004, 05:30
"Oh, I'm sorry. The child is about 2 months old."

She turned to Franklin. "If you go down that way, there's a government booth there that helps foreigners like you."

"Oh, I'm sorry the young boy that I saw was about eight or nine months, a toddler really. Ah, I didn't recall seeing anyone of that description on the train. Who are they? Your older and younger siblings or something."

Why the hell do you care?

Cause I think I just became an old maid...

Sorry old girl gonna happen sooner or later

"No. My husband and daughter."

18-07-2004, 05:45
The blond looked up and down the platform. "Well, maybe they missed the monorail where they were supposed to get on. So they'll be on the next one from where ever..."

She cute, for a married girl...

I thought we had gotten through that stage in the Acadamy

We haven't had a meaningful sexual relationship in a long time

I'm not picking up a terrified mother who's looking for her husband and kids...I don't think I could and that would be robbing the cradle with this girl, back home she would be jail bait...

Aww, a traitor but not a pedophile how quaint...where the hell did you find your morals...

Don't confuse normal people with the Crawfords...

The train closed its doors and left the station. Jessica frowned. Her husband was nowhere to be found. Oh well, he was probably on the next train. She sat down and bought some fries.

Franklin made a commotion at the booth, then soon learned there was no Buechorian embassy nearby. Franklin made his way through various people, and after asking many if they had a job to offer, he only recived no's. He finally landed right back where he started in front of the blonde and Jessica. "Excuse me, yet again, but uh.. Do you uh.. " Franklin gulped "Have any job offers... Anything I could do for some money?"

Jessica turned to the blonde. "Cars are banned in Temme, so there's no cabs. However, there's a bus schedule over there."

She turned to Franklin. "A job? What sort of thing do you do?"

(Er. cars are banned but there is a four by four in the previous part of the thread?)

Great Buses...just want I want...

She walked down to the bus stop and stood there for a moment. She looked at the man in the trenchcoat, turned and leaned against a wall. She did her best attempt at keeping an eye on him without appearing to.

I wish I had taken that damn counter-espionage course in the Acadamy instead of basic nuclear engineering. popped into her head.

Meanwhile, back at the platform. . .

"Where is that husband of mine?" she thought. Just then a strange man came up to her and handed Jessica her daughter. "Mrs. Enid?"

"Yes?"
