Fairly experienced RPers only please. Or ones willing to learn, but it will have to be fairly big posts and punctuation + spelling.

OOC// This RP will be mainly character roleplay - set in several different locations. These are the only locations that you could RP in, to have a bit of a character roleplay. I will have a character on all of them, as could you if you wished. Your guy would arrive by being recruited into the "International Brigade" a division of foreign volunteers sent to help. The rebels are fighting for a democracy/ centrist idea. If any "victory location", if you will, falls, then ill open a new one for it and it will have effects on teh overall roleplay. Your free to come in as any rank, but you will take overall orders from Rebel command. After a "victory location" is taken, then watch here coz ill update who the originals are held by, and add a new one. If you want, you can be an imperial troop, but you'd have to be Hogsweatian. Enjoy! You can use your own equipment. No tanks.

Katanashka ridge-Rebel
A ridge held by one hundred Rebel fighters - an airbase on the cliff with some biplanes, the republicans are very ragtag - bolt action rifles and maxim guns are the common weapon, no tanks and the only anti-tank support is the biplanes dive dropping bombs and an old 76MM cannon - nicknamed Big Tom. The Imperial Army coming down on it is somewhat around five hundred men - with about 50 T54 tanks. The ridge creates a semi circle, with dense forest on either edge.

Sai-Kong City-Disputed (Docks-rebel)(bridge-imperial)(senate-imperial)(factories-disputed)
Sai-Kong city is the capital of the Imperial Soviet Republics of Hogsweat. Imagine a chinese city, but with more slums, and more apartments. The city starts off fine and dandy, but with three thousand Rebel and
four thousand Imperial troops, and with Imperial heavy artillery bombarding the city its bound to get hot. The rebels have the usual, and Imperial troops are armed with grenades, AKM's, PKM's, etc etc. No tanks. 150 Heavy mortars and howitzers are blasting the city from a hill above Sai-Kong. The two airbases nearby are under Imperial control, each has a garrison of Stuka's and Focke Wulf Condors (usable as bombers). There is a Republican airbase, but again it has only biplanes and some hurricanes. The Imperial Senate, in the middle of the city, is held by 500 Imperial Guard (elites) and will be fought over much in the coming battle. Sai-Kong has docks and harbours, and although tthe fleet is not being used in this RP the docks and harbours will also be fought over. Other things include: Tirias bridge - the main bridge across the river Sai- the river Sai runs across straight through the city, and although there are minor bridges and boats, Tirias is a main Victory Location within a victory location. There are factories, and they are ruined and un-inhabitated.

Tung Forest (swamp-rebel)(forest-rebel)
Tung Forest is a wet forest, ridden with Mosquitos carrying Malaria and other diseases. It is extremely hot. The Hog-Cong, local guerilla fighters, live underground and in local outlying villagesr. The whole area is captured by Imperial forces, and they are beggining their assault on the forest as we speak. Around 2,000 Imperial Troops, unsupported by tanks, and around 500 Rebels. Standard equipment.
Five Civilized Nations

(OOC: Count me in...)

Jonathon Ashe, a grizzled former Combined Five Civilized Nations Army Colonel, moved slowly through the Hogsweatian capital, sighing to himself as he walked, reading the newspaper. Shaking his head in disgust at the news of a rebellion, Ashe snorted at the ineptitude of the Hogsweatian government in keeping the population in peace.

Suddenly Jonathon's eyes saw a recruitment advertisement for volunteers to join the "International Brigade." Hm... Interesting... I could use the money... Shrugging to himself at the prospect, Jonathon decided finally to volunteer...

OOC: What's a general idea of the armaments of the rebels? I don't want to come across as overpowered with equipment or self-deprived. I plan on having a rebel guerilla in the Tung Forest who's a sniper/scout of sorts.

Katanashka ridge:

Imperial International Brigade Leiutennet Ralph Bauer looked through his bonoculars at the high ridge which the rebles controlled. The air was damp and a slight drissle was comming down:

"inform the men to be ready for orders...i think the time is comming soon to attack"

The sargent took off towards the soldiers taking cover in the dense forest:

"LT says be alert...we should get artillary fire before the move! pass the word"

As Bauer looked around he noticed the Intel was fairly correct...they may have been slightly wrong on the amount of infintry he was seeing. That was somthing he could deal with up there:

"this's gonna be 1 hell of a fight.." he adjusted his M4 Carbine then wiped the sweat from his forehead with a rag...

He was a former Infintry officer for the elite SS of Baccardi who had volenteered at the start of the conflict...

OOC: sorry for the stat wank but i just wanna let ya all know what he's carrying :P
M9 HE-DP Grenade
http://img52.photobucket.com/albums/v160/Midlonia/grenadehedp.gif
The M9 high explosive, Dual purpose grenade is a thrown fragmentation device. Used normally to suppress or disable Vehicles, except tanks. It can be rolled bounced or ricocheted into places direct fire weapons cannot reach. Increase the angle of the throw to toss it farther or to get it over obstacles. DO NOT throw it close to your location.

M6D Pistol
http://img52.photobucket.com/albums/v160/Midlonia/m6dpistol.jpg
This pistol is a recoil-operated, magazine fed handgun. It is issued with a smart-linked scope capable of 2x magnification. It fires 12.7 mm semi-amour piercing high explosive rounds. It can shoot either semi-automatic or automatic fire.

MA5B Assault rifle
http://img52.photobucket.com/albums/v160/Midlonia/ma5bassaultrifle.jpg
This rifle is gas-operated and magazine-fed. It fired 7.62mm armour piercing rounds. Rate of fire is limited by a soldier's ability to aim, fire and change magazines.Short controlled bursts are more accurate than fully automatic fire.
The MA5B's integrated computer displays rounds left in the magazine and the relative direction of the gas giant, threshold, for point of reference. This feature is particularly useful for orienting you in areas where it's easy to get turned around and lose your sense of direction.

IC: Kurt Petroff fire another burst from his assault rifle at the rebels, he had been in the factory district for two days, and in this bloody trench that had been dug into the shattered floor of this factory, he thought it must have made farm machinery as the skeletons of tractors lay around, a shot cracked next to his head and he saw a rebel figure stagger up out of their trench, he cut him down with a short burst before diving back into his own grey-brown trench, a hail of fire blistered the gorund above and behind the trench.

Bauer sat by his feild radio waiting for the assult order to come through. The troops were egar to get into combat, they were ready for a fight.. this ridge would be a hell of a battle.

TRANSMISSION:

"attention!attention! All troops are to mobilize immeaditly"

It repeated twice and Bauers facical expression turned angry:

"MOOOOOOOOOOOVE!" he yelled at the top of his lungs...

The troops ran out of the woods very stealthly, the Rebels retaliated with heavy fire from a 75mm that was called 'Big Tom'...

Bullets flew all around, tracers flew through the air striking men all around Bauer but he kept running:

"don't slow down!!Slow down be cut down!!" he yelled

All of a sudden a massive blast exploded meters ahead of him which sent him flying back. He rolled over to hear a loud ringing noise, he was shell shocked:

"god damn it!!" he yelled but could not hear himself

The Imperial army started to fall back and regroup as the first wave failed to take the objective, 2 men lifted Bauer and carried him back towards the woods....

Forty seven days. Sixty four soldiers under my command. Zero left.
Nothing could describe his guilt. His transport was supossed to set them down 200 miles north of their previous position, but for some reason went west instead. His team fought their way back into Tung Forest, making their way to their destination. All the while, they fought off imperial soldiers and raided their camps for food. However, nobody lives forever. And ammunition clips don't last forever. They scavanged weapons as they could get them, but due to carrying limitations, they ran out severly in a big skirmish when they were already down to half. He was only able to save four. They didn't last long.
No guns. No allies. No food. No fear.
All he had was what armor h had originally, a medical kit, and a pair of kevlar knives. Over the last few days he had become very good at tracking down lone soldiers and killing them before they knew he was there. Now, he was getting hungry. And the lone soldiers don't carry rations with them.
One last raid...
