Fairly experienced RPers only please. Or ones willing to learn, but it will have to be fairly big posts and punctuation + spelling.
OOC// This RP will be mainly character roleplay - set in several different locations. These are the only locations that you could RP in, to have a bit of a character roleplay. I will have a character on all of them, as could you if you wished. Your guy would arrive by being recruited into the "International Brigade" a division of foreign volunteers sent to help. The rebels are fighting for a democracy/ centrist idea. If any "victory location", if you will, falls, then ill open a new one for it and it will have effects on teh overall roleplay. Your free to come in as any rank, but you will take overall orders from Rebel command. After a "victory location" is taken, then watch here coz ill update who the originals are held by, and add a new one. If you want, you can be an imperial troop, but you'd have to be Hogsweatian. Enjoy! You can use your own equipment. No tanks.
Katanashka ridge-Rebel
A ridge held by one hundred Rebel fighters - an airbase on the cliff with some biplanes, the republicans are very ragtag - bolt action rifles and maxim guns are the common weapon, no tanks and the only anti-tank support is the biplanes dive dropping bombs and an old 76MM cannon - nicknamed Big Tom. The Imperial Army coming down on it is somewhat around five hundred men - with about 50 T54 tanks. The ridge creates a semi circle, with dense forest on either edge.
Sai-Kong City-Disputed (Docks-rebel)(bridge-imperial)(senate-imperial)(factories-disputed)
Sai-Kong city is the capital of the Imperial Soviet Republics of Hogsweat. Imagine a chinese city, but with more slums, and more apartments. The city starts off fine and dandy, but with three thousand Rebel and
four thousand Imperial troops, and with Imperial heavy artillery bombarding the city its bound to get hot. The rebels have the usual, and Imperial troops are armed with grenades, AKM's, PKM's, etc etc. No tanks. 150 Heavy mortars and howitzers are blasting the city from a hill above Sai-Kong. The two airbases nearby are under Imperial control, each has a garrison of Stuka's and Focke Wulf Condors (usable as bombers). There is a Republican airbase, but again it has only biplanes and some hurricanes. The Imperial Senate, in the middle of the city, is held by 500 Imperial Guard (elites) and will be fought over much in the coming battle. Sai-Kong has docks and harbours, and although tthe fleet is not being used in this RP the docks and harbours will also be fought over. Other things include: Tirias bridge - the main bridge across the river Sai- the river Sai runs across straight through the city, and although there are minor bridges and boats, Tirias is a main Victory Location within a victory location. There are factories, and they are ruined and un-inhabitated.
Tung Forest (swamp-rebel)(forest-rebel)
Tung Forest is a wet forest, ridden with Mosquitos carrying Malaria and other diseases. It is extremely hot. The Hog-Cong, local guerilla fighters, live underground and in local outlying villagesr. The whole area is captured by Imperial forces, and they are beggining their assault on the forest as we speak. Around 2,000 Imperial Troops, unsupported by tanks, and around 500 Rebels. Standard equipment.
