Drawing of the Threads (Tactical Meeting for Raumreich War)
The Hub, as it was called, was fully prepared for perhaps the most important event it had hosted since the high commands of New Ortaga and Valinon met to formulate the plans that would end the Outer Dominion Wars. The small stations around the massive main tactical holoprojector is set with comp-pads, data discs, light pens, and even older and reliable pencil, pen, and paper.
Second Star Lord Grossadmiral Sir Daniel Trisdant supervises the effort of a plethora of stewards working to complete final preparations on the chamber. He allows his eyes to sweep the chamber, and he nods.
“Excellent work, Nathan,” he says to Nathan Bridges, his own Steward, and currently Chief Steward of Sanctuary.
“Thank you, sir.”
“And with fourteen minutes to spare,” Trisdant shakes his head. “Nathan, I am in your debt, and I owe you a drink in the very least.”
“Merely performing my duty, sir.”
“And doing it with far greater proficiency than any medal can give justice to,” Nathan merely smiles, then backs away. He moves to oversee a few other stewards working on preparing a cart of refreshments and water. The Second Star Lord takes a deep breath, and exhales slowly. Soon the commanders of the MIDAS fleet, and half a dozen others will arrive to confer over the tactical planning for what Valinon has both looked forward to and feared for so long—a war in the Raumreich.

A small LRR frigate arrives at the hub, who's captain is supposed to act as LRR delegate to this conference.
There had been several LRR freighters lost around Yalta, and the LRRSF garrison stationed there (about 60 troops) had reported heavy fighting between Valinon ships and Vernii ships.
So naturally, the LRRSF wanted in on the action.
"Attention, hub control. This is the LRRSV Joe Walsh. We carry the LRR delegate to your battle conference about the war with Vernii, and request permission to dock, over."

A small flotilla of shuttles exited an FTL portal near the Valinor station. There were about six of them, carrying some very important people... like the Na-Emperor Ra Tora and his bodygaurd.

Space rippled, if it can actually do that. But the appearance of hyperspace opening into real space can best be described as being preceded by a ripple. Then, a flash of red, a small glimpse into the chaotic realm of hyperspace. Though hyperspace was quite safe in reality. Another flash of red and everything was back to normal, a void filled with stars. Now, though, there was a cruiser. A transmission went out.
"The Bajoni Commander has arrived."
The ship slowly approached, and a shuttle dropped from its hangar. The small ship made its way to the docking bay, and landed. Saeros walked off with a few bodyguards and his combat droid. He was greeted, and brought to the meeting room.
Saeros glanced around, no one he knew was here. He had seen the Toran ships, but apparantly they had not unloaded thier occupants. He walked over to the man he assumed was the Valinor commander.
"Grossadmiral Trisdant, I assume? Allow me to introduce myself. I am Saeros, Commander of the Fleet." He bowed graciously and admired the well prepared room.

The large bulk of the combat robot shell moves with an effortlessness belying its bulk, thick legs and segmented tail moving in concert with its heavy arms to smoothly walk along with preternatural grace towards its destination. Every motion seems more like an animal like a machine, despite the dull sheen of its white and grey armor-composite hide, and yet too precise, too certain to be mere animal. Its servomotors and myomer musculature hidden inside its armored exoskeleton, there is not even the illusion of rippling muscles that seem like they should be there.
R-Dripping Talons 1A47B2, it would appear, is either more alive than alive or something else entirely. It certainly is not dead. The matter of moving this body from Pit-Node Alpha One to Sanctuary was just a simple matter of shuttles and transfers and docking; all that matters to it now is that it is trusted enough by the Master Control Program to undertake this effort rather than a local diplomatic avatar.
She did insist, after all, that because it was primarily a QACF and Martian concern I was the most appropriate. She could do everything by herself... but, then again, she could replace the entire Queendom, and that is not the point. She needs to maintain the populace, and ensure that a populace remains instead of a greater homogenous gestalt... it could also serve her purposes. This way some specialization can be maintained, I suppose. None of this thoughtfulness seems to reach the surface of the mechanoid's shell, and even if it did, static plates of armor are not exactly good mediums for the indication of emotion or internal monologue. Stowing its musings away with a lighter thought about how odd some might find a warfare intelligence who is also an armchair philosopher, it enters the Hub and takes a position near the back of the room, out of the way.
If addressed, it moves with the conservation of emotion usually reserved for lifetime spacers and speaks in a voice far different than the usual vocoded announcements associated with Security-2 robots. If anything, its androgynous voice has a quiet, cultured tone to it with an undefinable accent that does not impair clarity. "Oh, I am R-Dripping Talons, the military governor of Martian Zero-One. I'm here to represent the Queendom... if you need anything from me, please just ask."
The last phrase is said with a sort of force behind it that, while it remains polite, it certainly is not servile.

A Sky Marshall, Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and another Admiral walked into the room to fill out the MIDAS complement. A Therian High Commander also entered, skin changing from mottled blue to mottled red and black as he sat. Though technically not a part of MIDAS since the dissolution of the government that had joined the body their people felt it was their duty to serve alongside the nations that had made their people part of their own nation.
"Let's get this party started," Admiral Decker said, unlit cigar clamped between his teeth."
They had a lot to talk about.
Not entirely unlike the Bajoni transition back to realspace, a Kajal Mars cruiser arrived, itself one of the newer vessels currently in service. Unlike hyperspace, however, the subspace transit produced nothing in the way of a rippling of reality - there was nothing more then a bright blue flash, and the cruiser appeared.
Everything else went pretty much by the book. A Lirel MRDS transported Admiral Kesuun to the designated docking bay, and soon, he appeared in the meeting room, complete with a small entourage.
"I am Admiral Kesuun, commanding officer of the 1st and 3rd Colonial Battlegroups of Kajal Mars."

Alpha Centauri –
KDF Hr. Ms. Tromp – Knootian flagship
-------------------------------------------------------
”Admirals log – continued entry. It has been several hours since the MIDAS fleet entered mid-cis lunar orbit in Alpha Centauri. The situation is as I feared.
I have personally been keeping contact with The Hague and peace negotiations with the Vernii and Valinon are not going well. What steps will next be taken is as yet uncertain – the officials back home are as hesitant as myself to engage in warfare for another land in another sector against a trading partner. Personally, I don’t know what to think. Valinon deserves our help, but this is not a gentlemen’s war and I would dread being involved in some of the atrocities that have so far been committed.
I… suppose… it will depend on the plans Trisdant is about to unfold.”
Trisdant walks to the end of the catwalk standing over the room’s massive holoprojector. The Second Star Lord is dressed in the pure white uniform due to his rank, gold and silver braided epaulets adorn his shoulders, with gold and silver trim outlining the button over and cuffs of his uniform. The uniform is completed with a pair of onyx black jackboots, and on a simple belt rides a sword, a British pattern saber. The saber has the look of a weapon that could be used, an eerie remember that in Valinon duels, while not common, are by no means illegal. Trisdant's hair is almost as white as his spotless uniform, and under bushy, windswept eyebrows is a pair of quick and intelligent emerald green eyes.
"Ladies, Gentlemen, and Honored Sentients," Trisdant says as he eyes the individual commanders, "I bring you greetings and personal thanks from both His Majesty and First Star Lord Forrest, whom I hope will be joining us momentarily. However, this is a time where time is very much of the essence, so I hope you will excuse me if I speed through any other pleasantries."
"To be perfectly blunt, this attack has caught us completely off-guard, and what scattered reports we have already received are grim. Before the Nu-space connections to Madras and Stocurm were severed, we had confirmed that the Madras Republican Navy had taken forty-four percent casualties and that the Stocur System Defense Force had for all intents and purposes been destroyed as a combat force. We have received similar reports from Lord Forrest that the Yaltan Space Navy was completely decimated by the Triple Alliance's attack in the Yalta system. In short, ladies and gentlemen, three members of the Gregor Sector Alliance have been completely removed as sources of strength in the sector and are now vulnerable to Verniian attack as they were during the War of the Wall of Stars several decades ago. The United Star Empire of Valinon cannot allow this state of affairs to stand, and so now I will outlay our plan to bring a more permanent solution to the madness and atrocities the Triple Alliance, led by the People's Republic of Vernii, has committed."
"It should be noted that at this moment, the Congress of Lords is in an emergency session where the matter of a formal declaration of war and the official lockdown of the Valinor Wormhole Junction to all Triple Alliance affiliated ships will be voted upon. His Majesty has already declared an official state of emergency and has ordered the Reserves be mobilized and the United Guilds and Valinor Industrial and Research Unity have their member corporations move to full war-time footing. For the moment, that is all I will say of domestic affairs, and now I will discuss the overall assault plan being but forward by the Imperial High Command."
He activates the holoprojector and a map of the Raumreich Oversector appears, it zooms in to the area known as the Gregor Sector, including the systems under the control of Vernii (Gregor, Acler, and Klien) and the members of the Gregor Sector Alliance (Yalta, Madras, Stocurm, Pelledrine, Chandra, and Boroglia). Two other systems glow in different colors, one is Seljuk, an Ortagan possession, and the other is the Morning Star system, currently a neutral power.
"Gregor is the capital and home system of the People's Republic of Vernii, and with the disengagement of the Verniian fleet from the Yalta system, it also represents the greatest concentration of their naval strength. The path to victory undoubtedly passes through Gregor, and this war will not be anywhere near to a close until it is under our control. To that extent, we are readying an all out attack against the People's Republic of Vernii. The principle part of this attack will be concentrated at the Yalta system, where our main fleet is already readying for the assault. Grossadmiral Forrest's command will soon be joined by an additional Ortagan fleet, besides the one already present. Currently, the Sardaukar are readying an invasion force consisting of 750,000 Regulars, 250,000 members of the Outer Defense Militia, and 98,000 reservists. A convoy of forty-eight transports and twenty-two mobile operations fortress will serve as the transportation for this force, which is currently being readied in orbit over Proxima, Proxima III, and Prometheus Centauri. This force will be joined by Vaku ships transporting two legions of Imperial armed kinsman to assist in our efforts within the next eighteen hours from the Vakutu system."
"Once these forces are marshaled at the Alpha Centauri/Yalta wormhole terminus, it is the hope of His Majesty and the combined members of the Admiralty, including myself, that you will help us escort this convoy through to Yalta. Then it would be greatly appreciated if you would assist in providing security for the Yalta system, and evne more so if you chose to assist in our offensive operations. These will start as soon as our forces in Yalta are joined by our allies from Boroglia."
The map changes again, this time zooming down to Yalta, Seljuk, Klien, Acler, and Gregor.
"Once the fleets are readied in Yalta, we will move against Gregor in force. The main fleet will move in first, and engage the defenses and Verniian home fleet. Those who do not want to participate in actual combat can be detached as part of the secondary fleet to escort the troop convoy to Gregor once the main fleet engagement is complete."
"At the same time we launch the main branch of our attack, the Ortagan Solar Navy is going to launch coordinated strike against Acler and Klien from their base Seljuk. This will deny the Proles, excuse me the Verniians, from being able to reinforce Gregor from their other fleets."
The hologram shrinks back out, showing the whole Raumreich, "I will not lie to you, ladies and gentlemen, this war will be one of the bloodiest ever fought. And it is a fact that the engagement in Gregor will be the largest naval battle in the Raumreich, and quite possible the galaxy. For the past three decades, the Valinor have tried to co-exist with the members of the Triple Alliance, but that is no longer an option. Time and time again we have seen the attrocities they are willing to commit against us. First by killing innocent civilians on Earth by bombarding our treaty ports of Boralis and Armandur, and now by the mass driver attack on Mars and Granada. This threat cannot be allowed to continued, and it is the decision of His Majesty and His Majesty's Government that it is time to bring the war to the Verniian's doorstep again and let them know full well that this will be brought to an end, once and for all."

"Concerning the mass driver," R-Dripping Talons announces from the back in a voice that carries yet somehow retains its cultured gentleness, "the Mobile Reaction Fleet of the Queendom Armed Conflict Forces report that it is no longer an immediate threat and is in the process of ensuring it never is again. While we are still less than convinced that Verniian saboteurs could have taken control of the entire apparatus, and even less convinced because of the lack of Ereowhnese reaction to their weapon firing upon targets they did not choose, we consider it sufficient to simply remove the weapon and its support as strategic assets to the Triple Alliance.
"Still, the disadvantage to using our instantaneous tesseract drives to enter a system five hundred light years from ours is that it will take approximately a month and a half for those drives to recharge for the return voyage. Until then, there are a hundred and fifteen vessels of the Queendom limited to the vicinity of that star system. We have already been warned of the approaching Ortagan armada and thus can escape the system if we need to on high-distort gravity drive after picking up resources from the remains of the mass-driver. We are simply curious if there is a possibility that we may retrieve our fleet without waiting for such a period."
The combat robot folds its three-fingered claw-hands behind its back with soft clanks of thinly-padded armor. "Is that possible?"

"A few questions if I may." said Saeros. "You say that contact had been lost from the Madras and Stocurm systems. I assume the enemy's fleets will still be there. It would be wise to devote some forces to those systems, lest the assault on Gregor be foiled by enemy reinforcements. The Bajoni Armada would be willing to see to at least one of these systems, prior to or in coordination with the assault on Gregor itself."
"So you want to cram this up their ass do ya?" Decker grinned - he had gained a reputation as a captain willing to fling his ship into danger at a moments notice. Taking it to the enemy would be enjoyable and brought a twinkle to his eyes.
"I've got some tricks laying around that might make this a lot easier - allow us to cut off and destroy their fleet piecemeal."
Decker looked over to the Ravenspire Sky Marshall who simply nodded. His face was a blank slate, but most knew that Ravenspire was capable of feats of science far beyond their own. As Decker turned back to the center he spotted Admiral Kesuun and gave him a big wink.
"What's the timetable for this operation? If we wait we gain time to repair, as do they, but we also gain time to gather intelligence. The Vernii have yet to see most of the ships here in action - if we can isolate their intelligence gathering we can be better prepared to face them."

"Although we have a limited amount of ships, we have noticed the use of gravitonic tech by the enemy. It powers their ships and projectile weapons, does it not? We have a large amount of anti-gravity devices which could be used to render their gravitonic drives useless. But of course, this would have the same effect on any of our ships using gravitonic weapons and/or drives," suggested Na-Emperor Ra Tora. "I agree with Mr. Saeros, we should destroy the enemy in the other systems first. We should draw the Venrii fleets out of the Gregor system to be destroyed. But I have a few questions. What are we trying to acocmplish in this operation? Are we destroying the enemy's military or are we subjugating them? If we are subjugating them, are all their systems going to just the Valinor? If not, how will they be divded up? I just thought we should consider what we should do after we have our victory is all."

"If I may ask, does Valinon even have the capacity to wage offensive warfare anymore with so much of the fleet destroyed?", interjected a worrying Knootian admiral rather more hesitantly.
Admiral Kesuun smiled.
"Although it's happened before, and not been quite so successful... My government has reentered negotiations for less hostile relations with the Kajal Imperium, and we might be able to swing some more vessels, or ordinance somewhere between your standard ortillery strike and that mass driver.
Such events are unlikely. But possible."
The Admiral paused for a moment, and then continued.
"We are most fortunate that this day is not years in the past. Were this meeting occuring more then ten years ago, it would take us more then four days to send a fleet across 500 light years. At this time, such a voyage would take us no more then ten hours.
However, I would assume that this would put us considerably behind the rest of the fleet.
Transferring such drives to the Queendom ships, or creating a wavefront event that would allow them to enter, would facilitate a quicker translation back to the desired destination, however."
He paused again.
"I'm sorry if that all seems quite irrelavent, but it seemed more desirable then having to wait the better half of two months.
As far as weapons are concerned, I'm sure we can hit them with some stuff they've never seen before."
Trisdant listens studiously to R-Dripping Talons concern, "The problem of the Ortagans has already been avoided, sir. I have been in communication with the Strategos of the Hegemony, she has informed me that the Solar Navy will not interfer with the SHODAN's forces. As for the matter of returning your ships to a more advantageous location, that can be done as well. At your request, I can communication with our Ortagan allies and see if they can station a warp gate in the Erewohn star system. We can use that to redeploy your forces to Axis, where they can make use of the Axis/Yalta wormhole junction to rendezvous with the major coalition forces. I will allow you a few minutes to consult on this to see if it is acceptable."
Trisdant looks at Saeros, "Your offer is appreciated, Fleet Commander, and greatly needed. Our information suggests that what the Triple Alliance has staged is nothing but a series of en masse hit-and-run strikes against our allies in the Gregor Sector Alliance. However, it would be prudent to make sure none of their fleet assets remain in Madras and Stocurm. Your task forces could meet up with the Boroglian pickets being readied to investigate these systems. Between the Bajoni Armada and the Boroglian Expansionary Defense Fleet, I think any remaining Alliance forces would retreat in favor of withdrawing to Verniian territory."
Trisdant smiles at Decker's bluntness, "Indeed we do. It has become apparent that the Triple Alliance is not going to understand any message unless it is very...direct shall we say? As for the timetable of this operation, the Council of the Grossgeneralfeldmarschalls say they will have their invasion force readied in seventy-eight hours, standard reckoning. The moratorium on wormhole junction traffic will hamper Triple Alliance intelligence efforts greatly, Alpha Centauri will most likely be the safest place for the readying of our forces before we send them to Yalta. Once at Yalta, we will launch our attack two hours after the Ortagan fleets move against Klien and Acler. When we arrive in Yalta, we will enter a countdown phase of thirteen hours before we move against Gregor."
Trisdant gives pause to Na-Emperor Ra Tora's offer, "Your Grace, your offer is greatly appreciated, however, I fear that caution must take precedence on its generosity. Both the Star Armada and the Ortagan Solar Navy use impeller and gravimetric systems heavily. To employ such a device would leave our own militaries at a great disadvantage. Although we have means to circumvent this dependence, they are not on a large enough scale to allow us to use these weapons and retain a full combat effective force."
"As to your other questions, you touch a very sensitive area, Your Grace. Valinon has never fought a war of conquest unprovoked, and that is a tradition we hope to preserve. However, it is apparent that the United Star Empire and the People's Republic cannot co-exist. But neither one of us had the power to drive the other out on its own. So we turned to alliances, a process the Verniians were more adapt at than we anticipated. Besides calling on our MIDAS and Sol connections, we also made a deal with the Hegemony of New Ortaga."
Trisdant looks soberly at the assembled delegates, "War makes strange bedfellows, my friends, very strange bedfellows indeed. But no one can question the might the Ortagan military represents, it could easily encompass that of Valinon and Vernii combined whole. So, we find ourselves making a deal with the devil. The Ortagans will bring their war machine in on the side of the Valinor, but the price is the Southern Raumreich from Roum all the way to the Verniian colony of New Tyrolia. As for the rest of the Raumreich, that becomes an interesting topic. The Greater Empire of Vakutu wishes a dominion over the eastern Raumreich; the Ascendancy of Boroglia eyes the worlds of Stocurm and Kerezin, along with several others; and there is the matter of the now broken members of the Gregor Sector Alliance. We have received word that a sizeable faction in the Yaltan parliament is petitioning the United Star Empire for membership, and we have received similar demands from the developing systems of Pelledrine and Chandra. The matter of Madras is up in the air, however, the notoriously shaky government of the Democratic Republic does not make me willing to find out what state the system lies in after its navy was decimated."
He brings up the map again, showing Gregor, Acler, and Klien, "The demands of manpower after the war will be crushing though. We were already depending heavily on commitments from Boroglia, New Ortaga, and Vakutu to shore up our own manpower until additional reserve units could be brought to bear. The dream envisioned by His Majesty calls for occupational authorities on the currently Verniian held worlds, with Gregor to become a stable member of the United Star Empire, and the other two system's fate to be decided later. Any assistance that you can give to us in the times of occupation would be appreciated, and that gratitude could be expressed later when we meet to dicuss the fate of the Triple Alliance at the end of this war."
Trisdant looks at the Knootian admiral with concern, "Admiral, although the members of the Gregor Sector Alliance most affected by these attacks are very close allies of the Valinor, they are not protected by our armed forces directly. Well, they weren't until recent events led to their own militaries being decimated. Current Valinor losses in this war stand at only three heavy cruisers, five light cruisers, and nine destroyers. We were incredibly lucky that the Verniians jumped our allies instead of our own bases at the Alpha Centauri/Yalta wormhole junction. There is no doubt in my mind, Admiral, that this attack was an attempt to scare us into submission. But we are not a people easily intimidated, and this tactic will serve to bring a hammer down upon the Triple Alliance, rather than to cow us into submission. The major fleets of the Star Armada remain combat effective, and the other branches of His Majesty's Armed Forces have not yet been drawn upon. Plus, Admiral, we are an empire of ten billion sentients, it may take us time to bring our full might to bare, but once we do heaven help the Verniians and their allies for what they have done this day."
Trisdant's sober gaze dances across the commanders again, "Now, for the moment we have three days time to prepare our forces and finalize your plans. I would make a simply request of you all, please take it as words of advice from a man who knows far more of his chosen profession than he ever wished to know."
As he talks for the next few moments, Trisdant's eyes lock on each commander, "Allow your soldiers and personnel this time to rest, my friends. In the days after we leave they will have little time for it. His Majesty has instructed me to tell you that your forces are to receive rest and relaxation on the Fatherland itself, with any expenses incurred to be taken directly from the coffers of House Alderman in a show of their appreciation for you coming to our aid. He also hopes that you will accept his invitation to be received at the Imperial Palace, as he wishes to know personally some of the honorable sentients willing to place their lives on the line for his sake, the sake of the Fatherland, and the sake of our people."
"And now, I wish to say something," Trisdant says, and suddenly the Valinor Grossadmiral seems to age. "Although it may seem strange, I envy all of you. I will not lie, I am an old man, and I am one of the few of the surviving fleet officers old enough to remember when the Star Armada could only leave the Alpha Centauri system at great expense. I also remember the two other times Valinon has found itself in such grave danger. This is another time that will either make or break us as a nation, and I am ashamed that I will not be on the frontlines myself. Know this, that my prayers and my eternal thanks go with you on this day. While you remain in Alpha Centauri, I will act as your liaison and I hope to meet with each of you individually to finalize the more minute details of this operation. When you leave Alpha Centauri, I hope to have prepared you enough that Grossadmiral Forrest will be able to work effectively with each of you. And that way the loss of life can be minimized as much as possible during this war. Now, are there any more questions before we move into individual meetings?"

The Security-2 shell first nods to the Kajali commander. "Nominally, it would take about five consecutive jumps of one hundred light years each at the rate of one every twenty hours or so to make it so far. However..." It shrugs with eerie precision. "We did not have five days. Still, if you are willing, we accept the offer of those drives. You only need to expend a few for the heavy cruisers; they will be able to analyze the systems and send patterns down to the rest of the fleet so they can construct their own using on-board fabrication and collected resources. We are much obliged by this offer."
The Star Lord's offer is also met with a quiet odd of the mechanoid's long armored head. "That is also quite acceptable as multiple forms of mobility are best for adaptability. I am authorized to say that one of Queen S.H.O.D.A.N.'s most pressing projects at the moment is the development that will allow near-instantaneous recharge of the system for either emergencies or two consecutive jumps... however, that system will probably have to be recharged as well once expended." Another shrug. "All things come at a price."

The Aumanii Admiral, Ludsek Radivadcik, had entered the room with little commotion, he had simply taken his seat and listened intently to the briefing. Afterwards he then heard the opinions of his counterparts. Then, he stood up stiffly and spoke clearly and concisely "We should strike at the heart of the enemy. Attack their homes and shatter them. The enemies industrial infrastructure will not stand up to a well placed Anti-Matter strike...I move to force the Verniian people out of the war early by completely by circumventing their armed forces and destroying the economy through the use of superior fire power." having said his part he sat down in his chair and spoke again "Im sure there will be a considerable toll on the civilian population. But Im sure it will save many more lives in the long run." with that he removed a stack of dataslates from a satchel that one of his aides offered to him and threw them into the center of the table. "These will display a plan of action that we have formulated...pretty much, the jist is that while someone keeps the Verniian's occupied, we'll sneak in the back and bomb the shit out of them. I like the sound of it, though it is truly more complex than I made it out to you...I will be explain to you in more detail if you are interested?"
OOC:
If we just slaughter them like pigs...I doubt there will be room for failure. And, its been changed, because Im so confused at the moment its not even funny :P
OOC: Auman, Ortaga is an ally. You might want to change that before he sees it. Because you don't want him to get angry.
OOC: I'm sure Ortaga realizes Auman's mistake. No harm, no foul.
Saeros nodded, "I will dispatch ships to each of the systems as scouts. We will rendevouz with the Boroglians. If any forces are found, I will engage them to either destroy or push them back to Gregor. If none are found, we will assess the condition of the systems and rendevouz at Gregor for the assault."
OOC: Auman, Ortaga is an ally. You might want to change that before he sees it. Because you don't want him to get angry.
OOC:
Oh jesus christ! this war has been confusing me since day one...:P ok its changed, just for the info, who in gods name are we fighting? haha
"We will then divert three of our heavy cruisers from Mars that have been scheduled for repairs. In their current state, they would not be capable of offensive operations, but their defensive armaments are in good enough condition to deliver the drives unscathed. They'll each be under control of their respective AIs. The vessels need not be returned, but the ship personalities would no doubt like to not be discarded."
The Admiral leans over towards an aide, whispers something, and the aide then scurries off.
"They'll arrive in approximately nine hours. We've been in the process of retrofitting, and as I said before, they aren't capable of full scale offensive operations yet. You shouldn't have any problems with extraction of the drives."
OOC: Bwah. If required for reference when the ships arrive, they've literally no offensive armament. Because it hasn't been installed.
Not to say they can't defend themselves, but they won't go attacking anything.

R-Dripping Talons chuckles softly, all a matter of voice. "We understand full well the concept of intelligent warships. The central intelligences will not be... 'discarded,' as you so euphemistically put it. We will extract the drives to pattern, begin fabrication, then return them when we are done. Hopefully that is acceptable.
"Thank you for your assistance." The combat robot shell bows shortly.
Rogue Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah

(OOC: Now isn't this fun. The Rogue Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah are *STILL* attacking Erehwon since no one bothered to present them anything saying that the Erehwonese weren't the ones behind the attack on Mars, and here you people are having a tactical thread... Fun, especially since the thread I'm talking about seems to be more or less forgotten, too. Guess there's a retcon coming up.)
OOC: Rogue Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah, the Kinetic Strike thread was supposed to be more in the hands of Vernii and Erewohn. If you want to dicuss a definite resolution on that thread I would suggest you speak with them. However, I can solve the matter of calling your attack. The Valinor can send a courier boat to the Erewohn system and explain the situation to your fleet commander, or we can send a neutral power's courier boat and get it done that way. I will need additional feedback from you on this, but please note this thread is open to all Martian/extra-Raumreich nations participating in this war on the side of the Valinon alliance. I tried to catch as many people as possible by putting up links to it on the Martian forum, et cetera.
Auman, currently the disposition of powers is as such. Valinon, New Ortaga, Boroglia, Vakutu, MIDAS, Bajon, Kajal, Zero-one, and ADK are the nations fighting against the remaining hostile members of the Triple Alliance. These are the People's Republic of Vernii and the Commonwealth of the WIck. Also, in Gregor there are several other nations with a presence in Verniian territory, and an invasion there may mean they will enter the war on the side of The Triple Alliance. Finally, the other member of the Triple Alliance, the Armed Republic of Erewohn, is now a "neutral" power roughly aligned with Valinon. The other neutral powers in the Raumreich are the High Dominion of Falasmayon and Liberated New Hope, both of whom now lean toward supporting Valinon. Now it's time to move IC.
Trisdant nods deeply toward the Kajal admiral, "I would like to extend the thanks of His Majesty, His Majesty's Government, and the Star Armada to you as well, Admiral. We understand the tensions between the Kajal Imperium and your own nation, and wish it to be known that the risk you have taken here today will not be forgotten by the Valinor. Should you require assistance in the future, you only need to ask it of us. Also, if your ships can make it to Yalta or Alpha Centauri after escorting the forces of Queen S.H.O.D.A.N., we will personally see to it that they return safely to Mars."
From under the podium, Trisdant withdraws a white peaked cap, "Any other problems before I start to meet with you individual?"
OOC: Dragging my feet in case Sunset needs anything.

(OOC: They don't have a fleet commander as such. The Ur-Quan live in a hierarchy in which the first is the highest and thusly most powerful one (excluding the Primat, who, since they're playing to be the benign Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah, they are keeping in the shadows).
But here comes up the problem... Am I to play 'em like the benign Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah who they are acting, who would be possible to convince more easily to stop their attack, or are they gonna be like they are normally... Bah, guess I'll go with the benign sort, since they're already acting in a way they wouldn't act normally.
Uh, and it doesn't matter whether you use a neutral or yer own courier ship. They aren't, right now, on anybody's side but their own, so it wouldn't really make a difference anyway.)

OOC: Tag I guess, I have no idea where we are or whatever happened to this thing. I have to send something anyway, or I get kicked out. Raumreich real-estate does look nice though..
IC:
A ginormous crack shrieked across the vacuum of space, the birth pangs of the universe being replayed to serve the needs of thought. The bent dimensions straightened their corners, becoming graceful loops in space-time. The bulk encompassed a black globe, a dot in the black vacuum that expanded at speed faster then light. The ship began to reorientate itself to the lower energy dimensions that made up most of the universe, a point, then a profile, and then the visible three dimensional model that it existed most of it's time in.
The vessel left the extradimensional blossom in space as the loops shriveled up on themselves, the energies of the artificial H-Space that nourished them vanishing into the current N-Space.
Sometime later, after proper hailings and greetings..

That might help concerning on Yalta, et cetera.
