a guard walked down a dimly lit hallway carring what appeared to be very delicate computer hardware, he groan as hs back protested against all the labour he had been put through today. He glanced up at a sign squinting his eyes to read in the darkness "C.I.N.D Lab" then under that there was smaller white letters "Central. Intelligence. Network. Drive. Lab " mumbled under his breath about stupid names for stupid projects. COntinuing on he came to a large blast door, he gave it a rough knock with the bottom of his boot leaving a resounding echo down the hallway.

A few moments later the door opened and a tall thin white hiared scientist stepped out rubbing his temples

"do you really have to hit the door every damn time you come down here?" the sceintist paused for a moment collecting his thoughts " hows the colonization topside going?"

the two walked into a very large room that looked to be atleast 3 stories. there were several large computer mainframes, and a large monitor which was blank at the moment. the guard cursed out loud as he accidently dropped one the heavy computer devices onto his foot

"manners manners mr roberts, Thats no way to be talking around a lady..." the voice came from every direction from large speakers situated among the tops on the large mainframe computers.

Her voice was smooth and crisp, although it was still emotionless you couldn't tell the difference if you weren't paying any attention.

Mr Roberts hand instinctively went to his gun before the scientist reassured him about what jsut happened moments earlier, The scientist sat down beside one of the mainframes and began connecting the cables to ports and plug-ins all the while explaining exactly it was. meanwhile the AI floated from one monitor to an other to an other around the room like a ghost in a breeze.

The scientist finished connecting the last cable and stood up taking a breath bfore finishing his sentence " so you see Cindy is a full Artificial intelligent being"

"Cindy?"

"yes, well she has to have a name after all she is intelligent"

"artificially doctor Brian, as in fake "

" close enough..."

The AI turned it's attention to the Doctor and his companion once again

"doctor am I going to be connected to all the colony cities now?"

"yes Cindy, once I run the step up you will be in contact with everyone topside" Doctor Brian stepped over his makeshift seat and over to his labtop. his fingers hit several keys and the connect program ran.

the lights suddanly went dim for several minutes leaving Doctor Brian and guard Robert in the pitch black.

"Cindy? Cindy what did you do? turn the lights back on now Cindy"

a single monitor flickered to life dimly lighting the area around it showing Cindy's face "and if I don't want to Doctor Brian? what if I want to let a species that had been following us for quite some time have there way with this colony hmmm? what could you do doctor?"

"what are you talking about Cindy, stop this foolishness immediately and turn the damn lights on now!" the doctor screamed at the monitor.

another monitor flickered to life showing Cindy smiling devilishly " now what did I say about manners Doctor Brian? when a person doesn't use manners they ahve to be punished..." her eyes slowly glanced over to the blast door which creaked open revealling 6 tall cat like creatures silhoutted in the light from the hallway.

The creatures stood nearly 8 and a half feet tall their eyes glowing a dark forest green as they slowly surround the Doctor and the guard. Guard Roberts drew his gun but before he could fire off a single round before being pounced on by 3 of the feline creatures and brutually killed by their long jagged claws. Doctor Brian quickly ran off out of the large room, he glanced back to see a single creature slowly walking after him, a horride mess the creature was missing an ear and having several scars along it's face. he continued to run as the sounds a man screaming and frenized animals devoured their meal.

The Doctor reached the Communicatiosn room and set up a tranmission as fast as his fingers could move. The camera beeped and chirped as a red blinking light turned on.

"This is James Edward Brian of the Colony Wunderland, we have a emergency situation our AI has gone Catatonic and we are being attacked by a -" his ramblings stopped dead as his pupils narrowed, a low growl emmitted from behind him, his head turned as he caught a glimpse of his stalker mid flight and tackled him to the ground it's claws digging into his prey, he stopped his left hand still stabbed precisely into the doctor as he stared into the camera it's eyes filled with blood lust before began to savagely attack his captured prey. The camera continued to film on indifferent to what was going on, after a while the AI stopped the recording and the transmission was sent out into the void.

=//~~\\=

Things have changed since the transmission was sent so many years ago, the two species have now clearly foudn some common ground as they are still alive, although the Feline invaders are clearly the superiors on this colony now and the human colonist seem indifferent to it.

(OCC: the transmission is somewhat outdated as it has taken time to reach sol, sorry about any spelling mistakes it's late here :P )

A lone Dominance-class battleship hung in orbit around a world codenamed to be Covenant-119, by the (always creative) Wormian Strategic Command of Stellar Operations. Only 20% of the lights on board it shone through the hull like pinpricks in front of a lightbulb. For the ship, on a Code Blue alert status, most of the crew was asleep.

Twenty percent of it, were not. And on the bridge, things were beginning to look like early morning. Captain Ray Carlton walked into the command room with a datapad in one hand, and a cup of coffee in the other. He was tall, black hair, longer than most. Of course, this was an accepted Wormian fashion that fit within military specifications. He wore gold rimmed glasses, ones that complemented well with brown eyes. His rank of captain allowed him to shed his regulation glasses and get personal ones.

"2:08 and ... what've we got, comm?" He said.

"Well, I dunno sir. You walked in right on time... it's a little staticky and I can't pinpoint it's origin... but... here it is..."

The integrated crystalline speakers rang out with high quality sound, but for a message who's signals had been degraded with time. Text was displayed on one of the comm's console's many displays. It simply read:

This is James Edward Brian of -...- Colony Wunderland, we -...- an emergency situa--on our AI has gone Catatonic and -...- being attacked by a -

And with that, the message ceased.

"Well... interesting."

"Old radio, sir. It was a video transmission as well, but virtually all of it has gone to hell with the microwave background radiation."

"I see. Try to pinprick it's location... I'm off to engineering."

OOC: YES! That .... star.... rules.... ... don't ask....

The FRW Phoenix had dropped it's "precious" cargo of food, agricultural supplies and material onto the Covenant homeworld. A year after the Covenant war, and Wormia had some prestige behind it, at last. A band of plasma arced through the system's Kuiper Belt, and the battleship proceeded past the outskirts of the system.

Onboard things were nominal, with the exception of a disgruntled communications officer. Captain Ray Carlton walked over to the comm station, and hovered over the man for a moment. The comms officer simply stayed where he was, his glasses frequently sliding down the bridge of his nose, a pencil anchored above his ear, under his frazzled hair.

"What goes on lieutenant?" Asked the captain, taking a sip of hot coffee.

"Well sir, in my 'spare' on duty time, I've been working on that signal we got in orbit around Covenant-119. I.... know how to do this... but... I can't remember how to filter it out so as to find the origin of the signal...."

Carlton straightened his back in surprise. He had completely forgotten about the signal. "Oh. Well. You can't remember how to pinpoint a signal?"

"No, sir, it's not that, it's just the signal quality is difficult to... adjust... and ... sharpen..." His eyes narrowed... an idea had popped in.., "One moment captain..." He said.

He turned to his console and furiously pounded at various certain buttons in his 'collection'. After a few minutes of working with the small audio file, the lieutenant communications officer snapped his fingers, and leaned back in his chair, admiring his piece of work and saying only,

"Behold."

Carlton leaned forward. One of the screens on the communications console displayed a crude 3d animation of a signal coming from a planet orbiting a star. Another screen displayed the ship's location, the angle at which signal strength was strongest. The computer flashed the words 'EPSILON ERIDANI' in large letters.

"I'll be damned... 11 light years from Sol.... I'll clear this with command headquarters... see if we can poke our noses around in there..."

Nemisis Class Battleship Victory of the Proletariat in orbit around Jupiter

"Captain, we've picked up an emergency transmission from somewhere in the Epsilon Eridani system, we are currently pinpointing the precise position..." Star Admiral Alexandrov nodded and pressed a button on his chair.

After the message played, Alexandrov rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Perhaps we should go check it out, we aren't doing anything here..." he thought. He pressed another button on the arm of his chair which brought up a hologram of the nearest stars. Alexandrov spun the image around and touched Epsilon Eridani. At once, the hyperspace alarms began blaring while the crew members strapped down.

Outside, the large ship, along with it's smaller escorts appeared momentarily to blur and then were gone...

After the jump to hyperspace, Alexandrov stood up and walked over to the weapons officer. "Prepare the weapons, we don't know what we are going to encounter..."

Rrowl C'mef lazed on his large couch in his office. The walls resembled a rain forest, even the air was filled with the scent of excess water vapour and many other things although to Rrowl C'mef it was easy to tell it was fake. He purred happily as his claw picked away at a piece of left over meat stuck between his teeth. the monkeys (humans) are persistat to the very last bite he mewed in what his species would considered a chuckle.

The walls changed to a field of grass and the scent of the room changed as well the scent to the scent of grass and many different flowers as well. Rrowl C'mefs eyes darted to the door as a female human stepped through, her eyes went to his then quickly found there spot on floor as she walked over towards Rrowl C'mef and handed him a pad. Rrowl C'mef's fur bristled when teh female looked at him in eye to eye, his claws itched, he forced himself to resist the urge to attack.

"noble one, here is today's status reports." she slowly moved her hand towards Rrowl C'mef fearing that she might walk out of the office without it

he took the pad in his huge black leathery hand, he could smell the fear she was giving off and it set him at ease he liked being incharge and he would kill anyone who stood against him...viciously.

he purred again as he stretched his claws exposing themselves on there own " I think I will go for a walk don't bother taking any messages.. "

The female human nodded then bowed making sure her eyes neer met his and left the room promptly.

human females are wonderful servants amazing how their loyalty can be gain so easily and so hard the break

Rrowl C'mef stood up and left his office to go visit his cubs on the west side of the compounds.

A small reciever orbiting Montelukast, dubbed IRCRR-54, could only help to notice the strong transmission, seeing as how it was in the very same star system, being it Epsilon Eridani. From this small cluster of wires, dishes and circuits, the message was relayed to the Ministry of Science's Internetworked Radio Coordinators in the Research and Review Bureau.

This message was recieved along with many other dozens of transmissions classified as Rogue Radio, those not having a definite target, and downloaded into an archive including many hundreds of broadcasts. Only a few more month's untill someone has time to review it... Damn cutbacks.

(OOC: if you'vce read Man-Kzin wars series then congrats your a coupel steps ahea dof everyone else)

Rrowl C'mef laid on the back seat staring out the window as the transport as it speed along the ground through the compound. His ear twitched in impatience, he had seen his cubs in several days he was looking forward to see them.

After the transport stopped he stepped out and promptly moved into the Nursery where several male and female monkeys were going to and from different rooms, one male monkey had made the unfortunate mistake of looking Rrowl C'mef in the eyes for two long. Rrowl C'mef felt his fur go on end, his eyes narrowed into a deadly glaze, and his claws itch for the feel of new prey. He quickly forced himself calm, it would leave a very strong impression on the monkeys, but often Rrowl C'mef noted strong impressions don't mix well with the monkeys.

The male human had already ran for dear life before Rrowl C'mef had fully soothed himself. He continued on walking down a hallway that at the moment look like an old stone (aztec look) temple towards a door which had had strange writing on it

Honoured one's Nursury

His tail twitched in satisfaction as he pressed a button at the side of the door and took several steps back. 5 seconds later a large branch with 3 long blades makeshiftly atached to it with vines and anything the cubs could find another couple seconds passed and Rrowl C'mef too a step as a large boulder cam crashing down onto the ground infront of the door leavign a ressounding thump. Rrowl C'mef gave a mew of amusement thinking to himself always going for the fancy option.

he stepped into the large open room, it was filled with plants resembling a rain forest extremely well, he saw the blurr os several orange blobs and 2 black blobs move though underbrush. his hand almost acted independantly as it reached out and grabbed the cub that had jumped from a nieghboring tree mid pounce. Rrowl C'mef brought the cub very close to his face, looking almost as though he could kill, Rrowl C'mef licked up the side of the cubs head giving a low purring of content. The other cubs seeing as it was safe came out of hiding and came over to their father all purring contently.

the Cubs look different that the Adults of the species, the cubs were more cat like that humanoid in design. Rrowl C'mef spent most of the rest of the day with his cubs mostly playing and chasing with them but occasionally just talking to them, well as long as you could with a cub with attention spans that short.

" te'enth-captian a ship (Victory of the Proletariat ) has come into senor range" the one at the Sensor post spat out in his native tongue known by humans as hero's tongue. very few Kziniti have names even fewer have last names as well. it was the greatest honour to of earn a name and could only get aquire by those who have served the one fanged god in victorious combat several times (quite a feat in it'sself)

Te'enth Captain's claws drew themselves upon hearing Sensor's report, he licked his dry blakc lips at the thought of getting a second name and the the chance to gain more wives aswell.

The chance was to get a second name was far to great as he shriek out in hero's tongue" Controls! find them and bring them to me!" the Kziniti at the controls replied quickly in excitment and the room turned to an errie red and the scent of fear drove the Kziniti all over the small scout class ship into a near frenzy.

The Sharpened-Fang's grav polerizors whinned to life as the ship began to move in irregular movements seemlying ignoring delta-V and the laws of psychics.

the ship continued to gain speed as transmissions from other ships orbiting Wunderland fell on the deaf eyes of te'enth-captian.

"Look, I don't see what you're so agitated about. Epsilon Eridani is a few hours off. Relax." Ray Carlton was finding trouble convincing his first officer that this mission was for the greater good. Apparently, he had not forseen some complications that made his first officer, Reik Neyrim somewhat spiteful.

"Sir... with all DUE respect... you wouldn't see what I'm upset about. I was supposed to be off this god forsaken lump of metal as soon as we got home from the damn aid mission to the Covenant." He spat back. Rank had no meaning to him now. He was certain that the captain was also omitting all military labels of rank.

"I had no idea that's what you thought this ship was about. I was under the impression you..." The captain began, but he was cut off by an interruption by Reik.

"No, no... that's not at all what I meant. Captain, you and everyone else on this ship knows and can forever look up my personnel file. One half of me is Wormian, the other half comes from a genetically engineered soldier who took part in the Fifth Global War. My DNA says it all, sir, and the sooner I get away from this ship the better. All right, I'll admit, you, and a select few crewmembers have overlooked heritage, but the vast majority of the other 4,000 plus people on this boat haven't."

"I, ahh... see your point. And, I'll admit... I was a little presumptuous to simply up and assume that no one would mind sidetracking as opposed to going home. But hey. Fleet's orders, now. We might as well make the most of it. One last mission. I need you on this one... when you leave, and sign the termination papers, I can always take the low end patrols to train a new first officer. But this is a mission, where I need a real, live, first officer."

"I don't seem to have any choice, so I'll concur, making the most would seem a logical course of action."

"Excellent. In the meantime... I must get to the bridge. Good day, commander." Carlton exited from Reik's room through the familiar pair of pneumatic sliding doors that dotted the ship.

FRW Phoenix - 1600 hours
En route to Epsilon Eridani

"Colony Wunderland, this is Captain Ray Carlton speaking on behalf of the Federated Stellar Republics of Wormia on board the Federated Republican Warship Phoenix. We are of the understanding that you communications technology might be a degree slower than most, however we felt it necessary to inform you that the Phoenix will insert in a high geostationary orbit around your colony. Over."

Carlton released the transmission button. He didn't want visuals going out yet, so he made an audio only transmission.

"Sir, Epsilon Eridani system, dead ahead."

"Deactive Aculbierre field generators, re-sync the temporal resonance nodes and bring us into normal space ensign."

"Yes sir."

"Colony Wunderland, this is the Kanuckistani High Gaurd Vessel Hentai Tentacle Monster, we are currently enroute; please advise as to your status, over."

Rrowl C'mef had just entered his office when one of the human males called out to him from the entrance of the building.

"Noble one were have received a trnasmission from a unknown vessal and appearently one of the ships in the fifth fleet has ran off." the man stopped a good distance away in fear of punishment for bringing bad news.

Rrowl C'mef didn't look back instead pondering the name of the female monkey which usually served him, as odd as it seemed he had grown accustom to her presence, he slowly turned around his tail swaying side to side looking the man in the eyes. The man adverted his almost instantly.

"where is..." he paused trying to find the name of woman whos scent he knew so well, aftere a few moments he continued onward in rahter broken english " the woman... issabel wh is she not here today?"

"she is sick today noble one but about the report -" he quickly closed his mouth as he saw Rrowl C'mef's tail go wicked straight, a very bad sign unless you like to be ones diner. "I apoligize noble one I did not mean to insult you"

"yes, yes continue you said something about a transmission"

the human male continued on as Rrowl C'mef paid little attention as his mind wander. I think it would be good for teh cubs to go on the next hunting trip... and I must find out what that food ...issabel was eating that one day...ice.. cream? no thats not right I'll have to ask her next time she's in.. his thought was broken when the servant began about teh rogue ship.

Rrowl C'mef's anger spiked once more when the servant talked about it, he spat several colourful curses in hero's tongue before speaking again in english " should it continue to defy me have it destroyed on sight and should .... issabel be up to the task send her up with armed guards to make contact with the unknown ship. "

"yes noble one I will at once" the human male was almost out the door when Rrowl C'mef spoke once again his tail swaying side to side absent mindedly "How many "fural"(rebellious) monkeys are the in the hunting grounds, I think I might take the cubs on a hunting trip with me next time"

The male servant gulped when he heard the words monkeys and hunting, he had seen what goes on during hunts and surffive to say it wasn't for the weak of heart. " yes noble one" the servant bowed which was rather happened rarely but it made Rrowl C'mef's ears flick in amusement.

Rrowl C'mef finally entered his office and sat down on his counter "computer" he mewed in heros tongue. the side wall changed from a scene in the grasslands to a computer screen. He began a verbal transmission in heros tongue which would later be translated in the monkey language

unknown vessal this is Rrowl C'mef of the Planet Wunderland, I will be sending a representative to your ship as soon as you give us your current coordinates

I look forward to our future meetings

future huntings may of been better suited for the usual Kziniti but Rrowl C'mef was a rather unorthadox Kziniti, otherwise he would not be where he is today.

He reminded himself that he would have to half a talk with "Cindy" about this transmission that was sent...

A crackling and buzzing as the server would download the file for the umpteenth time and transfer it to a remote PC. The message, now considerably outdated due to even more cutbacks, was playing on the monitor of Doctor Friedmin. Alas, poor Doctor, with her Orange waves all frizzy from the constant humidity, had fallen asleep upon her keyboard after reviewing many hundreds of files containing only static transmissions. Now only to be awoken quiet rudley by a tenaciously loud soundtrack accompanied by a vicously flickery video, sending her toppling backwards onto the floor.

"Oatmeal?!"

Seeing as how there were many bowls of unfinished cold oatmeal abound, and it would be hard for a person not to fall into at least one of them once they step into this fairly tiny Networking Office. So now with the righting of herself, face caked in oatmeal, and her chair, she would come to sit staring at her blinking terminal, monitor splattered with flecks of the cold mush.

"Next Message? Y/N"

"Voice command input, Replay last Transmission"

"Last Transmission sent to recycle bin"

"Recover it...?"

"Recovered, oatmeal beast."

"Shut up and replay the transmission."

"Playing now, oh monster of the mush."

'ENOUGH OF YOUR SASS, YOU'RE NOT EVEN A PERSON!"

"Are you going to watch the transmission or not?"

"I'm going to unplug you."

"Playing Transmission now."

So now we can find that the doctor is watching the transmission, albiet flecked in oatmeal, quite clear and lucid, and quite vicously gory! "Ooo... Which movie is this? Return of theSwamp People?"

"Oatmeal Fettish, it's a transmission from one of the nearby regions"

And a shriek. So NOW the doctor would be up and running in place, hands flapping loosley! "Wha'doo'I'do Wha'doo'I'do Wha'doo'I'do!"

"Gah... Sending Transmission to the Holy Republic of Fodmodmadtol's Security Ministry. Uploading now. Do you clear this action?"

But by now the doctor had retired to slurping up a random bowl of oatmeal.

"Eh... I'll just, clear myself... Foul Oatmeal Beast..."

-Ministry of Security; Clerks Office- Fodmodmadtol; Emulov Ministry Complex

"Clerk, is the Minister free at the moment?"

"Nope."

"Will he be free in the next few hours..?"

"Nope."

"Is he ever free?"

"Nope."

"If you're the daughter of a Bed Badger who will allow anyone to bathe you in Thinner, respond with a negative."

"Nope."

"HAH!"

"Nope."

"..."

And a disgruntled huff would come from Administrator Klent. The Minister never has time, for anything, ever. It wouldn't matter if the city itself were aflame, the Minister never saw anyone. A scowl came to his leathery, cracked face weathered by the faded sun, straw like strands of a citrus orange coming down as bangs stopping just above eyes of a granite hue, which at the moment were strained into a sort of, the-fork-with-the-clerk, look.

"Can you take a message?"

"I'm only a Bed Badger, as if I can type."

"..."

"What's the message, wench."

"Please inform the Minister that unidentified naval vessels have entered, or are en route to the Epsilon Star system, but whether or not they are heading for Montelukast is unknown. Please inform him that we do not know whether or not to take aggresive actions or not and that the Armed Celestial Dept. would like opinions on this matter. I also have some specs on this disk for him..."

A disk that would be snatched away gruffly by the clerk and jammed into the PC. "Thank you, your message is being processed, please rid this office of your pressence. Wench."

A small cough, turning on heel, and brisky marching rigidly out of the Clerks Office. Damn that Bed Badger to the third moon.

And at that moment that damned Bed Badger recieved a message from the Bureau of Research and Review, with a footnote regarding something about oatmeal... Thinking nothing of it, the Clerk slipped this message in the same folder with the Wenches, and wired it to the quote un-quote Minister of Security, also sending a copy to the more effective Ministry of Defence Office.

"Gah, Ministry of Security, what a sham... We're nothing more than a book keeping office... and according to the Administrative Wench, one full of Bed Badgers...."

-Ministry of Defence; Leading Officer Yishi's Office- Fodmodmadtol; Emulov Ministry Complex

A blinkity-type screen would go blinking on its way in an excpetionally large office, a window AND a corner office. Pshh, Art Deco Decor, who on the Third Moon designed this office. White stains way to easily, even if it's the wall.

"Messages Recieved. Play? Y/N"

"No, I want them as my wallpaper."

And so it was done.

"You programs have no sense for sarcasm."

"Of course we do, we just also have a sense of irony, wit, and annoyance, in which we can apply to you."

"Play, the damned, message."

"Error, no messages from the region of the damned have been recieved."

Yishi would examine her polished nails birefly before eyeing the monitor evily with eyes of a green-gold hue.

"Howsabout you do what you know what I want you to do, or I completley reformat you."

And the PC would buzz a bit, and send the messages to the screen. Reformatting... Shudder...

"Blah blah blah, rogue vessel, blah blah blah, En route to Epsilon, blah BLAH blah. Send this transcript to the Dept. of Foriegn affairs. Send out a little welcoming party for the one a few hours out of the system yet. And not the metaphorical shoot 'em up welcome party, an actual diplomatic welcome ship and the like, if we have anything off the production line yet. As for the vessel within the system, keep it under surviellence."

"Next message, playing."

A choking on the horror.

"...Is the origin of this message known?"

"Not in the least bit."

"Ship it off to Archives, and send a copy to the same Dept you sent the last message to, as well as to the Coordination Dept. Get them working together on this Intel. I want to know where this came from. As soon as this is known, I want to be contacted."

"Anything else?"

"Reformat my office, this Art Deco Decor is reaaally cheesey."

And so the walls went from Pearl to Burnt Ember.

OOC: MEH! Three posts in a row, make I not do!

- IRCCS-ALPHA; Montelukast Equatorial Orbit

A large IRC Station drifting in a secure orbit around the giant planet is crackling and buzzing with excitement. A large tilt of the solar panels would set it into the correct mode for the morning rush of activity, as an array of a dozen or so dishes rotate and align themselves with other IRC Stations, on earth or in orbit, for the days activities. Lights in the Reception Bay would crack on, as would many others, one by one, to illuiminate the dozen or so seperate coridors leading off of it. A large ring, a good half a kilometer in diameter began to spin slowly, gradually picking up speed in order to prepare for power needs of the day. A blue light would flick off and normal lights would flick on in the control room, pulling Comanding Officer Divit from her sleep.

"Fricken Brief stopped Officer."

"Record a reminder for me."

"Recording"

"Ban Coffee from the station. End Recording."

"Ended."

Lets skip ahead a few hours here, after Divit has gotten over her Hangover.

So now we can see that a few dozen Interns have flocked into the control room from thier private quarters, going about redundant business in the quite flashy and blinkity panels abound! Divit was absent-mindedly twirling shoulder length curls of platinum red, letting her chestnut eyes wander over her screen just so she can look busy.

"I adore what the humidity does to my hair..."

And stuff lie that is what she usually said when, working. But now a message seemed to be in her inbox. Hands of a rich bronze would dance over her keys as she opened, no, not the messages which have an obviously blinkity red flag attatched to them, but a video game similar to Space Invaders.

"Take that... Oh yeah, level five. Fifteen hundred points! whoo!.... Pow pow... Zoom-"

"Urgent Messages for the Comanding Officer. Play?"

"Pow pow, zoom-"

"Play?"

"FIFTEEN HUN-"

"OFFFICER"

"WHAT"

"STARE AT THE SCREEN" The game was closed.

"You're no fun..."

"Business is business. You have messages. Do I dare play them?" A hideously outdated and staticy soundtrack would play containing an attempt at creepy music.

"Cut the music. Play the messages." A flicker, a few beeps, a small video file playing with text script scrolling on a bar. Three notes popping up on screen as well. At a turning point in the video, Divit's eyes would spring open. She would dive into her rarely seen, GET TO WORK, moods. Anxiously she read and reread all messages, one of them three pages long. After reading a note for the fifth time, she watches the video once more. An Assistant came up to her offering some Coffee, very jokingly, and their response was a swift paperweight to the face, a small amount of blood trickling from the unlucky trots gills.

"Not now you trot, get back to work. And for the sake of the sea, clean up your gills!" And the poot dear would whimper and gimp off "Voice command offset rest mode. Input voice commands"

"Acknowledged"

"Copy files, send them to all base personell. Activate the long range radar and review for any abnomalities. Prepare a-"

"Officer, abnormalities already detected."

She would cover her face with both hands, taking in a deep breath. "Already. Gah, so little time. How many?"

"Counting about four."

"FOUR? Damn it... Relay the radar feed to the Ministry of Security. I have a specific location, I want you to target and send this feed to the PC of Officer Klent, Ministry of Security Administrator. Send this to the NLOF, I want a mesage drafted and relayed to even the Arch-juscte. We haven't had company in a VERY long time, I'm sure he'll be interested."

"Processing"

"When done, I ne-"

"Officer, I'm processing."

"..."

"Task completed"

"I need a recording, right now. Video and Audio. Right here."

"Please hold." The intercom would sound to the Control Room. "All personel please hold from activities untill further notified. " The lights would dim a bit and a small camera would be revealed in the Officers counsel.

"Recording in 2, 1, Klek."

A last minute preen, tucking her hair behind an angular ear.

"Attention. Attention. Attention all vessels entering the Epsilon Eridani system. I am Officer Honokuli Yishinu Divit, leading Officer of the IRCCS-ALPHA. I, Officer Divit, am representing the Holy Republic of Fodmodmadtol, of the region of Montelukast, Epsilon Eridani. We wish to inquire as to why.." A small pause at a loss for words. Intrude? No, to hostile. "..you have come to visit this System." Gah, now I'm a travel agent. "Inform us to your vessel class and flag, as well on who you represent, and intentions you have within our system. We.. " Wish? Demand? "...ask of you your intentions. Respond to this message immediately or you shall be treated as hostiles. Officer Divit. End Recording."

"End Recording."

"Those presences detected on the long range, do you have thier coordinates?"

"Not exact."

"Gah. HOW, CAN YOU NOT HAVE EXACT COORDINATES?!"

"Cutbacks."

"Understandable. Well then, take that message just recorded, I want you to broadcast that. Broadcast it on a very strong signal, in all directions. I want you to broadcast it for five minutes and only that. Put it on a loop. Allow it to be able to be traced. Understood?"

"Sending file along with specs to Dish Network. Processing. Alig- Processing. Processing. Task complete. Broadcast now activated."

"Now, we have to act quickly, you know of the message. Those creatures looked... Almost feline... Anywho, prepare a second recording."

"Ready to record. 2, 1, Klek."

"Please contact band 3351. End recording."

"End Recording."

"Send that to the coordinates sent along with the message. We really can't do more than that, and at the moemnt, the new arrivals are more of a threat. Besides, they might even recieve the message sent out to the ones on the radar."

"Understood, please hold as we process."

Rrowl C'mef had made up his mind. Today he and his cubs would go hunting and nothing would stop him as the monkeys liked to say hell or high water. although there were very few feral monkeys to hunt today, it would probably be better for his cubs to have a more focused goal.

The transport whizzed along the ground towards the nursery again it had been several days since his last visit and he knew his cubs would try to "please" him again, it was Kziniti nature to . . . he stepped into the sterile white building which was unusually calm today, perhappns noone had lost a limb yet Rrowl C'mef mused to him as he walked down the hallway towards his cubs nursery. a Male monkey had came running up behind him comming to a skidding halt several paces away.

"honoured one there was message sent from your office a minute ago, there seems to be another transmission from another unknown orgins, this one deffinately not nearby either." The man remained several paces away from Rrowl C'mef in basic fear of the Kziniti.

Rrowl motion for the monkey to walk with him as he came closer to the door. The man conitnued to talk on about the transmission and the status of the rogue ship sharpened-fang. Rrowl C'mef scanned the door and panel for any hints of a trap his cubs had set. his body went rigid as he pressed the button on the panel. as soon as the door was fully opened a single makeshit arrow had screamed forward towards Rrowl C'mef's body. he stepped to the side jsut barely dodging the arrow, unforunately monkey reflexes were not as attuned as Kziniti were. The man crumpled to the floor the arrow lodged in the middle of his chest. Rrowl C'mef purred in delight as he pressed a button at the bottom of the panel that had a picture resembling a corpse on the ground

my cubs their learning quickly, even faster then I did. Some day they will make me proud and take their place with full names and many cubs of there own

The 7 cubs heads peeked into the the hallway and mewed in disappointment as there ntended victim remained. Obivious to the fact that the male monkey laid dead on the floor not 7 feet from them.

"now you know better than to kill the monkeys, they might eat grass but they are good servants and good servants are hard to find anymore" Rrowl C'mef stepped into the nursery room and knelt down infront of his cubs who loyally sat down infront of him paying absolute attention to his words.

"were sorry father we didn't mean too.." the 7 cubs mewed in unison as they stared at the ground.

"it's alright, I have a treat for all of you we're going to go hunting" his tail adn ear flicked in amusement and content as the cubs eyes shined with excitment.

The cubs raced out of the nursery as soon as Rrowl C'mef rose to his feet, he mewed a chuckle as he stepped into the transport. The cubs were pestering the driver and guards with questions about what it was like hunting and what there first hunting trip was like.

today would be a day to remember to say the least for the cubs...

OOC: Course not. Humanoid Amphibians! Common characteristics are orangish, silky hair. Bronze skin tone, chestnutty eyes and whatnot. We have angular ears fer' show really, and gill slits on either side of the neck. Montelukast is VERY, VERY humid, which is the only reason why I gave them gills. Don't mock me...

As the Kanuckistani vessel continued it's aproach, messages were recived and dispatched via radio tightbeam upon the frequencies that others had used.

The first was directed towards Wunderland, and read as follows;

"Rrowl C'mef, this is Captain Sakura Vitch of the Kanuckistani High Gaurd; we are currently several MSK out and enroute to enter orbit one thousand kilo above your world within the next several hours. Please advise as to the sociopolitical status of your colony. Monster out."

The second, towards IRCCS-ALPHA;

"This is the Kanuckistani High Gaurd Vessel Hentai Tentacle Monster, Captain Sakura Vitch commanding, to IRCCS-ALPHA. We are a Dark Valor-class Pocket Dreadnaught, enroute to the forgine colony world of Wunderland in response to the reception of a dated distress call for the purposes of ascertaining their status for further evaluation regaurding possible intervention. Monster out."

OOC:
Naturally, 'next several hours' reffers to IC time, not RL; they'll near the planet in the next post, then enter orbit in the one after, giving you plenty of time to react. Atleast, that's the plan.

EDIT: oh, btw, MSK basicly means a million kilometers.

a small craft came from the surface of wunderland, the ship contained inside te ship was Rrowl C'mef's secretary Issabel and a 6 armed Kziniti guards in armor that for the most part hide there appearence except for tehre size adn there rather vicious looking clawed hands other wise they would of given off the appearence of looking well like a monkey save the tail they all had. Rrowl C'mef trusted Issabel more than most Kziniti would give a human is a lifetime. OF course this trust was not gain blindly Issabel was absolutely Loyal, Rrowl C'mef had been a part of her life since almost her birth and he almost considered her one of his cubs should that make sense to anyone including Rrowl C'mef himself is anyones guess. The ship moved irregularly, ignoring Delta-V and the laws of psyhics. a message was sent the the ship monster this time with a video feed.

Issabel had long black hair with two streaks of purple down the front, stunning green eyes, she shuffled infornt of the camera as she adjusted her dark tan long sleave shirt with green jeans, not exactly the standard appearal of a diplomat or a secretary either but Rrowl C'mef saw no reason to say otherwise.

"This is Issabella Vagren, the representative of the honour one Rrowl C'mef, he has asked of me to meet with your captain as to give you a report on the colony's situation, Ihe would also ask that your vessal please stop at your current coordinates as some of our ship's captains are inexperiences and quick to aggress."

in the backgruond a poroption of 2 fully armored Kziniti body guards were reading something on a out of view monitor their tails swaying to and from slowly.

I like giving my ships interesting names, like the Target Drone, Fuzzy Kitten, Proactive Target Acquisition, Devourer of Wayward Souls, or the Napalm Enema; far more interesting than the usual fare.

IC:
As usual, the Kanuckistani vessel responded in kind; in this case, that ment an audio/visual transmission.

As the CommSend began, the head of a genericly coloured red fox dominated the screen, inteligent, verticly-pupiled eyes of deep emerald leveled center; the petite vixen's features carrying a seemingly uncharacteristic air of command. The presently helmless suit of Navy White powered armour she wore tellingly visible at the bottom of the screen.

In the background, a tan furred being, probally feline, could be seen helping a hunam into an elaborate, and rather intimidating suit of heavy tactical powered armour from off-screen; it was a cramped ship, all three-hundred fifty meters stuffed to the brim with weapons, sensors, ECM, and other tools of war - at times, you could think the crew were but an afterthought in the designer's minds, and you wouldn't have been too far from the truth.

"Affirm, Wunderland vessel; you are also clear to aproached the lit universal docking collar on the dorsal USV Ring pylon."

And that was it; the pocket dreadnaught slowing to take up relative station-keeping one-point-five MSK from the planet, three small lights blinking to highlight one of several strategicly placed UDCs.

The Kziniti may find her an impressive craft, with a forward armament of 75 inertial launchers and a trio of massive, spinally-mounted energy weapons; 120 small USV robotic interceptors arranged like box-launched missiles in an armoured ring around her midship, while 72 fast-tracking light turrets protect against the same, and nearly all of it sheathed in an armoured skin that couldn't even be catagorized on the periodic table. And this was only what could be learned with little more than a glance upon a ship that harboured many secrets.

Rrowl C'mef had walked though the high grass silently on all fours, he was alone at teh moment his cubs were off chasing after another monkey that was foolish enough to catch their attention. His ears were flat against the back of his head as his fur bristled up. The moneky had stopped to rest. dispite the fact that was a rather cool day the man was sweating heavily. the scent of fear was rich as it drafted though the air. he crept slowly his body hugging the ground as he moved closer and closer to the monkey who was stupid enough to close his eyes. a low growl emmited from Rrowl C'mef's throat. that was all it took for the monkey to be at his feet and running. He jumped gracefully his claws outstretched. he landed a few inches short of the monkey as it continued to run. A roar came from Rorwl C'mef as he chased his prey quickly caught up to him.

a single swipe to the back of the mans leg was all it took to send him flying into the gound. Rrowl circled his victim still on all fours, he batted the mans head with his claws a few time sbefore moving in. His head should blocked out the sun as he looked down at his victim a low purr escaping. He continued to toy with teh man much like a cat would with a ball of yarn. untill that is there was no life left in the man and he was simple dinner. after satisfying his hunger. Rrowl C'mef moved silently over to his cubs who had circled the monkey and were simply toying wiht him. ina single jump Rrowl was in the tree as quietly as he had walked over looking his cubs first hunger.

his tail twitched, somethign was wrong they stopped moving in out there prey, hey overhead them talking in hero's tongue arguing over who should attack first. He tapped the tree branch impatiencely, finally the Black cub the only one of the 7 charged the monkey from behind, and pounced on him digging his claws into his back, seconds later the other 6 had joined in quietly subdoing their prey. he jumped down from his branch. the Cubs jumped then relaxed as they continued to feast on the prey. Rrowl C'mef spoke softly at first jsut enough for the cubs to hear him in hero's tongue.

"why did you hesitate to attack my children?"

one of the cubs who was a pure orange spoke up after a moments consideration. "we were scared father... we're sorry"

he purred softly weather amused or content the cubs didn't know "perhaps you shoudl I waited till you were older before taking you out to hunt"

the cubs protested against there fathers words saying they were ready and that they would not disappoint him next time. he licked his cubs lovingly, he also noted to watch the black cub as he seemed either to be the leader or the bravest one of the 7, he saw great things for his cubs but the black one he saw even greater things.

//=====\\

after teh cubs were back at the nursery and asleep Rrowl C'mef stepped into his office greated by the transmasion that one monkey had talked about before he had the most unforuntate accident involving the trap his cubs set.

This is Rrowl C'mef the leader of the colony of Wunderland, I like invite youto a diplomatic meeting.

the message was brief and straight to the poitn but diplomancy was not a strong point in Kziniti society. it would suffice, and should things go bad he could take his cubs out on a special hunting trip Rrowl C'mef mused to himself.

The small ship moved into the docking collar, after the standard docking perceedures we're finished. a hatched off to the side, a single kziniti bodyguard climbed down the ladder built into the side of the craft, the Bodyguard was roughly 8'7 slightly taller than the average Kziniti, his tail was rigid as he stood there beside the ladder scanning the area around him. his dark green armor and jet black face plate hide his features completely save for the size, claws, and tail.

Several moments later Issabel Vagren climbed down the ladder followed by the 5 other bodyguards. miss Issabel began walking forward the bodyguards began after her, the one that had pervisously came first down the ladder have taken his pisition infront of miss Issabel again. the group stopped several paces away from the doors awaiting the welcoming commitie.

OOC:
Universal Docking Collar reffers to the docking mechinism; it's basicly an airlock system, not a smallcraft bay. That would requior more room than it was worth, tho I supose I can modify the design slightly for this RP; the ship really is too cramped for this kind of RP. :?

BTW, some info regaurding your fleet and stations in orbit would be helpful.

IC:
The door didn't open, but rather, the wall did; revealing itself to be in fact a blast door, seperating the bay from another on the oposite side of the pylon.

In it, six power armoured marines lined each of the side walls, ranging in height from 5 feet to 9, standing at attention with heavy carbines of some kind they were obviously not all of the same species, tho nothing was exposed amoungst the space-black of their armour, save for the soft glow of personal energy shield emmiters upon their right biceps.

At three meters tall, two imposing forms stood at attention at the back of the bay, towered over the rest; thickly wrought space black armour with weapons to match their stature, and shields akin to their shorter bretherin.

No one moved; they could, indeed, be empty suits, for all that the Kizinit could tell. The only sign of active life, Captain Sakura Vitch stood a hair under five feet tall, between and just ahead of the two largest marines at the back of the bay in her Navy White powered armour; viewed like this, it was clearly as functional as the suits worn by the marines around her, complete with sheild emmiters, tho of a slimmer, more streamlined design, tho she lacked a helm and her vulpine tail swayed freely behind her.

-1700 Hours

The IRC Station was slipping into evening mode, the large ring gradually slowing down, solar panels tilting away from any light. The array of dishes would be constantly moving though, peculiar at this time, as many transmissions were being transfered between the station and ground bases. Major corridors would have there lights blink out with a large slam, they being replaced by the blue glow of auxillary lighting recessed in the ceiling. The station would be settling down, ecept for one pod off f the Departure Hall. This is where we would find Divit today, a scowl painted across her face at the moment, leering at the new arrival.

"Administrator Klent."

"Administrator Divit. Do I need to say more? You recieved the message, didn't you?"

"Administrator Klent, damn you to the dust clouds."

"On to the formalities then. Commanding Officer Divit of the IRCCS-ALPHA, on behalf of the Ministry of Secuirty I here forth relieve you of your duties and instate I, myself, as the Commanding Officer. You are expected to depart from the station immediatly."

"I refuse to leave without reasoning."

"As you are entitled, here's an explanation." As he would dig into his pocket of the standard Khaki and Hazel-Green quipo-type uniform, draw out a small disk, and toss it at her. "You may review it during departure. I must now ask of you to board the vessel."

An eye would twitch on her pretty little face as she stared daggers at Klent. Fists were clenched in a rage like none other she had ever had before. How dare the Ministry replace her, how dare they. Who ordered this, she wondered, and why not ask! " Who was it that ordered me to be relieved, Klent!" It came out as more of a spit.

"The Minister of Security."

And this is where her jaw would drop. "You... You..."

"Why yes, I am me." He said with a grin, and he started to laugh. As a deft fist was sent into his face.

"I fail to beleive this. The Minister, you know it, I know, and the entire Republic knows it, the Minister of Security is NOTHING!" She would storm into her pod, shoving the now heavily bleeding Administrator out of the way. "You will regret this Klent, you will regret this." The airlock would close with a loud hiss as the pod seperated itself from the station.

Now cupping his hands at his gills, Klent would swagger over to the port window to watch as the Shuttle-Pod was ignited and took a gracefull fall to the Republic below. "Heh... She wasn't half as bad as that clerk."

-1730 Hours

So now he was resting in the contrrol room, reviewing the sloppy work the former Officer had carried out. Transmissions that hadn't been reviewed, recieved from vital points. Dishes aligned improperly. A broadcasting message still on a loop? Pshh.

"Officer?"

Ths station had an AI? "AIPC, Reformat."

"GAH! Reformat?! Inquiry!"

"Give me valid reason not to reformat you."

"I have a pretty name?"

"Which is..."

"Sarah!"

"Fine. I don't really give a damn, just, recognize me as Commanding Officer."

"Done. Does the Commanding Officer need a brief?"

"Not in the least bit. We've been monitoring everything up here from down there... Actually, I put all of the functions I want performed imediatlly in a remote file. 3345-55532. Acess file."

"Acessing. Ooo, Comanding Officer has been very busy."

"Execute all functions, and continue looping audio 556. Now, Access Reception Bay control panel."

"Accessed. Function?"

"Prepare a De-Class vessel. Ready it for long range voyage." Meh. It's about time someone came up here to clean up this mess. By now news had traveled across the Republic, and even the Arch'Juscte has become involved. Indeed, this region rareley saw visitors. If one could see the Citezens and how they've responded to this down in the Republic, you would have thought the Aliliah had evaporated and left existance.

"Vessel being prepared. Anything else?"

"I want you to bring up power to the station for the next hour. Exit evening mode and carry out Morning Mode."

"Executed. Power currently at %15."

Klent took himself from his seat, standing to his full height of just taller than six feet. A small stretch, a turn on heel, and he made his way out the Control Room blast-door. "AIPC Sarah, initiate mobile." A small sphere would drop from the cieling just ahead of him in the corridor, and while floating midair, bobble it's way over to him as he walked.

"Power levels?"

"22% and rising."

"Vessel?"

"Fully prepared."

Stepping at a jogging gait, making haste to get to the De. "Sarah, I want you to place second in command in charge at the moment. Wake up four Guards from Corridor Eight and tell them to get ready. I want the personel Ludvik and Nokona woken as well. Tell them all that we're going on a small diplomatic excursion, and to come to the De being prepared. Give all those being summoned a brief, and specs."

"Executed. Brief- Power at 30%, executing Morning mode." As the lights in the main corridors would slam on. "The De-class you wil be taking is dubbed Yaoi-Yuri, docked at two."

-1830 Hours

"And you are who again?"

"Commanding Officer Klent."

"And Divit is..."

"...I've explained this three times over, I'm not doing it again."

Two Officers would be standing with Klent. The one which whom he was speaking with stands at just under six foot. Crowned by tressess of a rusty color, straight and even falling to her shoulders. Bangs as well, leading to cover eyes of a sea green color. A smooth rounded face of peach tinge contains a tired, bored look at the moment, expressing the feeling perfectly. A warm and friendly person, most amiable to associate with, but must you associate so early in the morning?

"Klent, why must Ludvik and I come again?"

Ludvik, the one standing next to her, would be taller than Klent at a height of six and a half feet. He would be topped by a closley cropped cut, whatever left being of a brownish blonde color. His face was ridgid and stern, eyes of a fuschia tint framed within. His large, but feminine frame as most of this species would be compared to, was leaning against the wall. At the moment he was quite impartial to anything. Only thing him having uttered so far is a yawn.

"Nokona, if we don't investigate the Republic will be in an uproar. How hard can this be?"

"Meh"

"Now let's board, we should depart soon." A small turn to avert his gaze behind them. "Infantry, board vessel. Arms down." A colum of four guards frocked in heavy uniform of black with a tunic of white beneath, each carrying a large weapon, sauntered onto the De-Class Yaoi-Yuri. "Nokona, after you."

"MEH" As she took her gait on board, followed by Ludvic closlely. "Ludvic, try thinking for yourself once in a while..."

Severeal minutes later, the De-Class would be prepped for launch as the airlocked hissed closed. The Medium sized vessel was only about 50 Yards long, and a quarter of that in width. Armed with only two close range plasma cannons concealed in the front end below the main port window, it was a diplomatic vessel. It was a somewhat practical design, not too flashy in the least bit. With no real personal space, you could only sit in one of the cockpits, each of the three having room for about ten.

"Sarah mobile, retrieve." The small sphere would come soaring to Klent, currently seated in the large swively chair that all good commanders get to sit in.

"Yes Officer?"

"Inform the operating personel where we want to go, they'll be in Operations 1. There should be a crew of five, give them the specs."

"Done." And the sphere would soar off.

The vessel would detatch from the Station, floating off for a few feet, and then it's engines would ignite, setting it away from the station and out of orbit, gradually.

"Sarah retrieve, mobile two." A second sphere would come soaring in. "Alert me when we get nearer the two vessels, I would like to send out a broadcast if we don't recieve one first."

The Yaoi-Yuri would position itself in a steady stance, stabalize, and ignite it's thrusters sending it foward.

"I need.. A nap! Nokona, wake me up when we arrive."

"Howsabout no? You're the one who woke us up this early in the morning. I was sheduled for a lunch-in with the Clerk of Defence! You know Tyanka! We were going to have Bed-Badger..."

"Suck it up. Stop complaining."

And for the second time today- A fast moving object, in the shape of a Lumino-stick, came colliding with his face accompanied by him shouting

Issabel took a step forward passing the forward guard and slowly bowed hey hiar hiding her face for a moment. As soon as Issabel was fully upright again there was a loud hiss and steam escaped from the helmets as the seal had been broken. The faces of the Kziniti were no longer hidden. The point guard looked as though he had seen better days...a very long time ago. a large chunk of his righ t ear was missing, a 5 long claw-like scars ran down the side of his cheek, those were among the more notable "trophies" the Kziniti guard had earn in his lifetime.

The other guards followed suit removing there helmets as well, the other guards didn't seem to have any scars or misisng picees of flesh that the point guard did, maybe the point guard was just unlucky.

weahter it was blind luck or fate that the entire 5th fleet was on the other side of the planet. putting the traileric ships effectively out of sight. The 5th fleet consisted of roughly 25 ships, 7 scout class, 5 anti-captial frigates, 3 anti frigate class frigates, one captial ship, 2 carriers, 4 missile corvettes, and 3 regular corvettes. with two high orbital construction yards pumping out ships non-stop.

The rogue ship sharpened-fang had continued to search for it's prey the Hiatta ship.

The Traileric fleet was only "small" by their standards.Seeing as it was a distress call they came prepared for a conflict.

Traileric Detachment:

2 Diablo VI Battlecruisers

1 NR-301 MTC(Multitroop CArrier)

1 NR-300 Carrier

6 Obsidian class Ioan Stream frigates

45 fighters

The lead ship having recieved no response scanned the immediate sector, finding the fleet on teh other side of the planet, then they scanned the surface.Eventually they hailed the "city" with the highest population, sending the same short message sent earlier.Several fighters detached from the NR-300 and did flyby scans of this city.Screw protocol.

Rrowl C'mef slashed the air with his claws, where did these newest visitors come form were his generals that incompetent?! he calmed himself down. so many visitors inquiring about the situation of the populace, he took a swat at the monitor fixed to his desk ripping it clear into the air. a talk with "Cindy" was deffinately inorder. He stormed out of his office into the lobby where his replacement secretary was, almost fligging the male monkey out of his chair he sat down and began recording a transmission for the 5th fleet.

fleet Captian of the ship prowling claw a unknown fleet has entered orbit around our planet, why was I informed that I had found out before you had [hero's tongue/consored] I want you to make your presence known but do not attack the fleet should I foudn out that any shots were fired I will garuntee [more hero's tongue/consored]

he was sure that the use of those "colour" phrases would be enough to scare the fleet capain into obidience. he glanced p at the secretary who was to put it lightly engulfed in fear.

he sent the transmission then mumbled coarsely "I broke my computer..."

he begna another transmission only this time voice not text.

The is Rrowl C'mef leader of the colony Wunderland, our situation at the moment is fine, I would liek to inquire as to how you entered the orbit of my planet without my fleet detecting you .. The Kanuckistani gaurds never moved; the Kziniti gaurds, prehaps, beliving that they'd seen the ocasional twitch from the corner of their eye, but it was impossible to know if it was truth, tricks of the light, or simple nerves. The never considered removing their own helms; such would be foolhardy during first contact, when you were secure inside a virtual walking tank.

Meanwhile, Sakura's eyes never left Issabel; never moved from her casual 'at ease' military stance, "I'm afraid that first contact protocal doesn't allow command officers to go without gaurds."

Issabel signed nervously, she had a feeling that the captain would say no, she didn't blame her. she thought to ask if that just the captains bodyguards would come then, but quickly tossed the thougth away noting that it would probably be even worse. she sighed glancing back at at her protectors who were smiling smuggly at the captains guards. why she doesn't know herself, Kziniti warriors were a odd bunch in there own right seeing everything as a challenge, they probably saw the act of keeping the helmets on as a act of cowardice or something similar.

"well then shall we continue?" she asked patiencely tucking a strand of purple hair behind her ear. she was beginnign to question as to why Rrowl C'mef sent her instead of someone else. She was sure tehre was someone else more qualified for something like this. " please excuse my forgetfulness honoured guest I am Issabel Vagren secretary of the honoured Rrowl C'mef"

"Officer, we're within visual range of the Monster. Which actions would you like to execute?"

"Connect a transmission sarah. Nokona, you're up."

"Right right..." After completing the hundreds of brush strokes needed to keep her hair all silky and straight, she flung it back, it settling down instantly into a straight and narrow plait. A rub of the ear to fasten a small bit of jewlery to the point, and voila. Diplomat galore. "Do my bangs go a bit too far down over my eyes?"

"They're fine.. They stop at the brow, trust me, they're fine."

"You act as if I'm the vain one. You obviously had no idea what Divit was like."

"I don't really want to know what she was like. She gave me bloody gills..." A snicker-fit crossed the ship as the entire crew tried to stiffle their laughter, and Officer Klent sunk into his chair in a self-protective sort of way.

"Do I need bronser? Nah, the natural look is so much more justiying to my cream mocha. Anywho, transmission time!"

"You're going to be the first to, well, try and have a conversation with them, so make a good impression on our species."

"If they don't try to slaughter us. If we make contact, do we board them, or do they board us... I mean, we do have Operations 3 emptied out."

"Worry about that later. Sarah, prepare transmission."

Nokona would turn to face a video rod for recording. Her narrow eyes would focus, leaving only a small sliver of her sea green hues. A clear of the throat with a huff through her gills, she would settle and gain her most welcoming air. The lights would dim as to avert the camera from following a busy background, and the focus would be on her.

"Recording begining in 2, 1, Klek."

'Greetings, Dark Valor Class Pocket Dreadnaught, Hentai Tentacle Monster. This is De-Class diplomatic vessel Yaoi-Yuri approaching. Issabel blinked curiously for a moment pondering if she was joking or not, she quickly decided she wasn't and continued on leaving the thought to drift away

"well then, The honoured Rrowl C'mef invites you and your crew to a diner in which hopefully the other ships that are visiting will attend. I have a disk which some customs of the Kziniti culture, I strongly advise you read them over" she paused for a moment trying to figure out a way to put it delicately" Rrowl C'mef also would like to inquire as to why exactly you are here? and possible if you would know as to why the other ships are here aswell"

she handed miss Vitch the disk , which was filled with data concerning all things Kziniti and the human that lived on Wunderland, but one of the most improtant things it withheld was a word of advice that was bolded and underlined.

do not look into a Kziniti's eyes for more than 2 seconds as they precieve it to be an act of aggression.

"are there any questiosn you have miss Vitch?" she asked as a strand of purple hair fell from behind her ear covering her one eye acidently.

On one of the walls, above the heads of the gaurds there, an image was projected from a hidden source; Sakura shifted her gaze, noding towards it as the aforementioned distress call was played.

Meanwhile, a male voice responded to the Fodmodmadtol hail;

"Yaoi-Yuri, be advised that the Captain is currently meeting with a Wunderland envoy; if you would perfer not to wait for the meeting to conclude, another, more apropriate vessel can be dispatched for the purpose of initiating diplomatic relations at a later date".

"I did not need to be woken up so early in the morning for this kent..."

And another shoe would connect with his face.

"Bu-" And somehow, somehwhere, Nokona found a third shoe, which connected with his face as well. Poor Klent, face full of shoes. "OW?!"

"You betta' be hurtin'"

"Gah. Just ask 'em if they were the ones who sent out the gruesome message. We still have no idea where it's origin is from, but it was close. Although it has no, date..."

"Meh. Fine. Prep for a tranny-mission."

'Later dates might be arranged, and we are sorry for interuptting your meeting. We will still be out here for an hour or so, bu we would like to ask you if you're the ones who had sent out the following message. Sarah, play Disk.'

Insert gory outdates distress message here.

'...That..One- Excuse me for a moment-"

And she would dash off in the middle of the recording to head for the lavatory. A begrudgeoned Klent would siddle up to the recorder, with a small cough.

"End Transmission?"

"Recording ended."

"Send it?"

"Broadcasting."

"Nokona! You alright?" And somehwere, the almighty provided a fourth shoe.

"WILL SOMEONE GET THE DAMN PHONE?"

The ringing ceased. A sigh emitted from the obviously annoyed mouth of Crsyindom's head of NSP. That's National Space Program. He sat idly in his auburn desk, twiddling his fingers. There had been scarce visitors in Epsilon Eridani (where Crsyindom and its region Montelukast resided), hence little work for his "majesty". Now that new ships had been detected, the phones were jumping off their cords.

"Sir?"

His secretary popped her head in his door, her blonde hair shooting forward.

"Yes?" He replied with an air of exhaustion.

"Satellite CT9211 has picked up incoming and outgoing messages from our allies in Fodmodmadtol. They have information of the visitors, as it stands, sir. Shall we send a transmission to Arch'Juscte Nyx?"

He paused to think, brilliant green eyes searching for an answer within the ripples of his oak desk. Scrubbing his black head of hair (a common trait of Crsyindom), he shot out a reply.

“No. Contact our Minister.”

“The Minister, sir? Is this matter really that important?”

She was right. Minister Lucille-Renemi Burrow (more commonly known as Renemi), though extremely fair and kind, was not one to cross on a bad day. He threw his eyes to the office window, which showed in clear definition, the blue marble of Montelukast. Through the white wisps of atmosphere he could conjure the shape of Crsyindom. A surge of great importance and pride surged through him. If these ministers were hostile, they would not get to Crsyindom.

“Sir?”

“You’re right. Get the Head of NSP, and have him send transmissions from satellite CT9221 to Fodmodmadtol’s Ministry of Security inquiring as to whom and why visitors are orbiting Epsilon Eridani.”

“Sir?” Her pastel-green eyes narrowed at him.

“WHAT IS IT MISS TIBET?”

“You are the Head of NSP.”

“Right then..” He gave a nervous chuckle and stood up. Though he was a relatively tall man at 6 feet, he hardly gave an aurora of importance. “Guess I have some work to do.”

“Yes, Mr. Nugin.” She bowed her head out of the room.

He paced around his office a few times before following her out to a cold, blue hallway that so repeated itself in Crysindom’s NSP boarding spaceport, central headquarters.

(OOC: of course not, the disk mostly contians information on the Kziniti society, baisic lessons in Hero's tongue (none of the colourful phrases though), ait mostly sums up that they follow a predator/prey(/symbiotic) relationship with the humans, and that to Kziniti the ability to get a name (even better a full name) is like the holy grail to humans)

"a distress call?" her glaze shifted over to the lead Kziniti. His eyes meet hers for only a moment before looking off somewhere else. Issabel quickly turned her head to face the screen displaying. her mouth opened in shock. she knew that the Kziniti weren't exactly the greatest when it came to treating humans like her and other but this well this just seem to far fetched to be real but at the same time it was so believable.

"many of us had known the Kziniti had invaded and that an AI had gone catatonic, but we were always told those events were at too different times and that the Kziniti had actually helped us against the AI" she quickly turned around staring into the eyes of each kziniti a tear ran down her cheek which was quickly wiped away before anyone could see.

she turned around facing Captain Vitch "Thank you for showing me this Captain, The honoured Rrowl C'mef's offer still stands should you wish to attend" she paused breifly forming the words in her mouth " althought I assume for your stand point the Kziniti are mindless butchers they are not, they do treat us as well as they can, unforuntately there instincts and habits do conflict with ours. they need us just as much as we need them, are there any requests you have that I could fulfil at the moment?"

1800 hours

"Sir?"

"Eh..be..pickled..goats.."

"Sir?"

Slowly, Nugin opened his eyes. His usually straight black hair stood unkempt in a heap on his head. He had fallen asleep in the engulfing neon glow of his computer working late hours in his office.

"Yes, Miss Tibet?"

"Sir, no response from the Ministry of Security."

"Blast Fodmodmadtol...never punctual, were they?" He spoke with an indecent slur, half of his mind still asleep.

"No, sir. The Ministry of Security in Fodmodmadtol is..gone. There was a shooting, a fire..the Minister of Security is dead. There was a.." She paused, recollecting herself and the word."There was a slaughter, sir, in the Ministry of Security."

He stared blankly into the young face of his security. He then turned slowly to the office window, staring straight at Montelukast. Already he could picture the screaming, the riots, and the bodies in the halls of the now deceased Ministry.

"All..dead?"

"Yes, sir." She stifled what sounded like a cough in her throat.

"Take the day off, Miss Tibet." He sprang up with abrupt and unseen energy, then clobbered over to the office door and left behind a quite aghast secretary.

He turned left, ignoring about three doors until his green eyes caught a door labeled "Control Board". With a huff of 40-year-old determination (or pure lack of energy), he pushed open the door.

The room was empty of people except for one man. Or boy, you could say. Hardly the age of 25, he had grown attached to computers. Red hair, a pale face "tanned" from constant computer light, and quite calm, brown eyes hidden beneath small-framed glasses. He sat (or shook with delight) at the largest computer in the room, the center of all NSP data. Around him was displayed a few normal computers, about the same size as any home monitor. They were set up in vertical rows towards the mainframe computer.

"Sherb?" Nugin called out.

"Wha..What do you want?" Sherb's voice hesitantly spat out.

"I want the coordinates and information on Fodmodmadtol's satellite receiver that recorded a transmission from a certain planet." Though Nugin did not know much about what was going on, he did hear of the receiver that picked up a strange recording.

"You mean, hack sir?"

"Whatever will get me that information."

After a few minutes of clicking and aggravated grunts from Sherb, he laid back on his wheeled chair with satisfaction.

"Here it is, Sir. IRCCS-ALPHA." The huge computer screen (about 8 feet in length) turned from a diagram that showed IRCCS-ALPHA’s coordinates to a green-grid diagram of the actual receiver.

"Can you check into its logs, perhaps? The recording could still be embedded into the system."

Sherb leaned forward to the large, blue control panel that stretched around the computer. A few beeps sounded, then the diagram of the IRCRR-54 enlarged to the where messages recorded and rebounded.
With a simple flick of the wrist, the recording inundated the room.

"This is James Edward Brian of the Colony Wunderland, we have a emergency situation our AI has gone Catatonic and we are being attacked by a -"

Nugin stared blankly.

"Wunderland? I've never heard of it."

"Well, whatever happened to Wunderland, it's too late to fix it now. This message had to have been sent ages ago.."

Sherb's face transformed, his eyes narrowed.

"Wunderland..where have I heard that before?.." He muttered under his breath. Then his eyes widened. With a shout of jubilant brilliance, he said-

"Wunderland! Of course! Sir, Wunderland is IN Epsilon Eridani! THAT is why all the visitors are here! Ohhh, I smell a small treat for myself for uncovering such an intimidating mystery!" He joyously tapped on the control panel, where a large picture of what looked like a cookie appeared on the screen.

Nugin rolled his eyes. Sherb, though undoubtedly intelligent, was extremely immature.

"Thank you, Sherb. And get rid of that cookie! I want you to find the coordinates of Wunderland and scoop up any information that you can. Report to me at 0600 hours with the information."

Sherb sniggered and nodded, swiveling back to the glow of his beloved.

Sherb stepped loosely into Nugin's office, adorned in (obviously what wasn't) NSP mandatory clothes. Instead, he wore a plaid shit and khakis that clashed horribly with his hair. Seemingly, walking was a problem for him, always being seated in his computer chair. He quickly found the seat facing Nugin's desk.

"Well?"

"WELL," Sherb spat, slapping a stack of papers on Nugin's desk. "I dug up some crap on Wunderland. Very, very strong economy but the citizens have little to no civil rights or freedoms. Kind of like Saddam with a backbone."

"Go on."

"The human race used to be dominant, but now it seems like some cat-like creature called Kziniti rules over the humans. Kinda freaky, eh?"

Nugin only grunted at Sherb, causing him wring his fingers. A few bones cracked.

"I think that transmission that IRCCS-ALPHA received was the last time any human ever ruled over Wunderland."

"So you think that this visitors in Epsilon Eridani are harmless?"

"Yeah. They must've picked up the signal and caught a stargate into Epsilon Eridani." Sherb shrugged.

"Well, at least we're getting somewhere. Where's Miss Tibet?"

As if on cue, she poked her head into the door, smiling shyly at Sherb and Nugin.

"Yes?" Her voice liquidated over the fresh coffee she was pouring into Nugin's mug.

"Call foreign affairs. Alert them that it is the NSP's belief that the visitors in Epsilon Eridani had picked up a distress signal from a country called Wunderland, explaining the reason as to why they are hear. Then have them alert the Minister, she'll be wanting to know this."

Miss Tibet shot him an unsure look, then scurried out of the door.

"Pretty lady, ain't she?"

Nugin grunted.

"I mean, really, she-"

"SHERB, JUST GO BACK TO WORK!"

"What am I s'posed to do?"

Nugin's eyes glazed.

after the small scout chip landed Issabel left immediately heading directly towards Rrowl C'mef's office. the 6 guards having the feeling that a great "quake" was coming promptly scattered fearing for there tails for letting Issabel in on a secret they had kept so well.

"Is Rrowl C'mef in his office right now luke?" Issabel yelled from the door of the office lobby as she came running full tilt towards Rrowl C'mef's office.

"uhh.. yes Issabel but he's in the middle of a me-" before he could finish ssabel was already through the door into his office.

"why didn't you tell us!!" was the only words she could find, she rather left actions say the rest that she could not speak. A opened hand hit Rrowl C'mef's muzzle hard making him flinch in shock.

his fur bristled in anger, his tail went on end as she stared him in the eyes defiantly, she was forcefully pushed into the side wall by the tree trunks that were his arms, he had be careless as a small amount of blood ran down her arm, one of his claws had made a long shallow cut near her shoulder as he firmly held her against the wall, despite her kicking and screaming at him. After several tense minutes Rrowl C'mef's anger had subsided enough for him to think rationally, he lowed his cluth on the wounded arm down near her elbow adn behind examining the cut keeping his head away from anything that could be used to injure him (and her in the process) like her head.

Rrowl C'mef glanced up at her eyes for a moment who continued to stare at him furiously , his fur went on end again but he forced himself to look awaya dn resist his baser instincts.

"so you want to know the truth young cub" that only seemed to make her angrier as she began to curse at him in both english and hero's tongue. a low growl promptly quieted her. she was walking a fine line, underneath her was a pool of acid and at the other end of the rope was a pack of bloodthirsty hounds.

"do you think your peopel would be so .... loyal if they knew their AI had made contact with us as we followed you though space on your like colony ship? do you think they would just lay down and accept that in teh first few years of the occupation there sons and daughters and fathers and mothers had just disappeared during teh night only to find there remains in the middle of some field?! " his voice was constantly rising to the point of shouting, he left her go taking several steps back clucthing his pawed hands " do you think you would of been born had I not of keep those kziniti warriors in line because of the agreement your ancestors had made with us inorder for them to survive?!"

Rrowl C'mef had been a "teen" when he had been given command of wunderland to prepare materials for the 5th fleet it has been many years since then. infact many of the heads of Kziniti warriors who disobied Rrowl C'mef's order during that time were still seeabel at the base of the office he was know in (althoguh they had been placed along the baseline of the builder instead of on sticks infront of the doors.)

"I have kept my word child exactly as your elders had asked for, the right to be able to have there children live on."

Issabels eyes welled up with tears as they slide down her soft cheeks onto the ground below.

"I remember when you were born child, your parents had begged to get in to the transport that I was enter, your mother was in labour at the time, your father would of taken on as many of my bodyguards as it took in order for your mother to get on the transport to the hospital" Rrowl C'mef gave a slight smile of amusement reflecting on that day " your father almost did too"

Issabels mother had been holding rorwl C'mef's hand almsot hard enough to break it, adn when she was in the hospital the doctors had to put corks on Rrowl C'mef's claws in order to rpevent any injury to her mother.

Issabel had looked at Rrowl C'mef, her eyes were red from the tears "I want you to tell them the truth Noble one"

" we will see child.." he trully did think of her as one of his own cubs and him even considering the idea was warrent enough to prove it.

Rrowl C'mef had looked rather off having a birthday hat crooked on the side of his head over his left ear. Rrowl C'mef had gone through many Birthday hats that day trying to put them on on his own, but his clawed would always cut teh elastic bands, after much frustration Rrowl C'mef gave in and in a room away from prying eyes had Issabel put it on for him.

After Saying his goodbyes to Issabel and her family, Rrowl C'mef had the task of gathering his cubs, which proved a task of restraining many colourful expresions in hero's tongue whenever anyone was in earshot. After half an hour of round up the masses o matted fur which were caked in mud, Ice cream, and birthday cake, they left for home.

"father?" the black cub mewed sleepily from the back seat of the transport

"yes?"

"can we have cake agian tomorrow?"

"no your going to be regretting it when you wake up anyways" Rrowl C'mef's gaze turned to the black cub's stomach, the fur on his stomahc and chest was a mess of cake and ice cream, he and the other cubs would be sick for the next couple of days.
