Hello, World Cup members (anyone else, please leave us alone in our strange, strange world)
It's four days left of qualifying, we're bound to need some hosts, and I'm sure there are capable people out there who can do the job. So, anyone up for hosting the tournament?
Please note that the signing-up method is up to the host. It may be by TG, forum thread, or otherwise.
Bids so far:
Nought.

OOC: I am sorry..I thought I was signed on with Melmond.
If Melmond qualifies for the World Cup...we would like to do the Cup of Harmony on our own. Let's say we feel we have something to prove. If we don't qualify, I invite anyone interested to be our co-host. Scoring will be done via java and RPs will be judged by quantity (percentile), quality, and yes/no. Its very similar to how I ran the Melmond Club Eliminational Invitational. Anyway since I dont have much time and this is the only bid so far...I will leave it at that.

I can swear only teams who fail to qualify can host.

Krytenia has expressed its wish to host. I have already contacted CS re this.
As a neat coincidence, this is also a tag.

::::UPDATE::::
Due to Melmonds failure to qualify for WC15....
We present......
THE KRYTENIA/MELMOND CUP OF HARMONY!!!
And no, we're not going to abbreviate it to KryMe.....
...OK, so now everyone else is......
Trust me, after the major disappointment of our team of destiny...the Fearless Farmers really did KryMe a river.
Anyway the ranking system is an average of placing and ranking prior to the World Cup. The place finished will be multiplied by 10. For example Melmond was 48th prior to the World Cup and finished in fourth. 48+40=88/2=44. 44 would be Melmond's ranking without RP bonus. All the scoring but games featuring Krytenia and Melmond will be done using neutral site scoring. In Krytenia and Melmond matches, we will have it scorinated as the respective side being the home team. The RP bonus will go like this as the highest in rank you can go up is 8.
Quantity Bonus: A percentile system: Top 50 percentile gets 2 ranks, Bottom 50 percentile gets 1 rank, non-Rpers get nothing. Quantity is cumulative.
Quality Bonus: Each day either Krytenia or Melmond will grade the quality of an RP, giving it either a 2, 1, or if it is absolute shite, nothing. Krytenia will always grade Melmond and vice versa.
Yes/No Bonus: If you post an RP at all right before a matchday, you get 2 ranks, the day before a matchday, 1 rank, anytime before, nothing.
Momentum: Not really an RP bonus, but basically you get two ranks if you win your last game, one rank if you tie your last game, and nothing if you lose your last game.
Anyway there ya go!
When does the Cup of Harmony start? Svecia has failed to qualify for the World Cup for only the 3rd time in their history and need something to do to keep in shape.
