OOC: We're WWII-Early 1950s tech.

In response to calls from the military, the Cremlin (For us, it is Cremlin, not Kremlin) announced an increase in military funding. "Today is a glorious day for the proletariat of Roosia! The People's Revolution shall defend the equality we have achieved. All power to the Soviets! Thank you!" said Premier Boris (Long-lost relative of Joseph) Stalin today.
The military also announced new uniforms.
The army features a dark green thick robe for warmth as the primary thing over it. Small steel plates are woven in into the robe over vital organs. A olive green turtleneck is underneath, along with some dark olive green pants and black boots. Red steel armored shoulderpads provide protection and intimidation. A light grey steel helmet covering the entire head except for the face provides, again, protection and intimidation. The gloves are solid black. A red belt and red supply bandolier completes the uniform.
The Glorious Revolutionary Troopers, our special forces, have a similar uniform, but different coloring. It features a camouflage robe, grey turtleneck, dark grey pants, camouflage boots, off-white belt, and grey supply bandolier, along with the same helmet. Armored shoulderpads are camouflaged as well.
The Air Force features a dark sky blue robe, red turtleneck, dark red pants, red armored shoulderpads, and a variant of the helmet with flip-down pilot's goggles and a oxygen hookup for high altitudes. There is no bandolier. Boots are black.
The Navy has no helmet, a solid green turtleneck, khacki pants, a robe with the top half dark blue, and the bottom half khacki, red armored shoulderpads, and a red belt. There is no bandolier. Boots are black.
The Young Marxist Legion, non-combat troops too young to enlist fully, perform support roles. They wear a helmet like the army, a robe with a red top and a khacki bottom, dark green turtleneck, armored shoulderpads, bandolier, and belt, and khacki pants. Their boots are black.
All share the same dress uniform: A solid red robe, with yellow armor shoulderpads, no helmet, and a cyan strap in place of a bandolier. The belt is red, the boots are black.
Pictures to come soon.
