In Sand City, capital of Larwana
Members of the Spitting Camel party celebrated... they had won the election over the Desert Life party, before the majority, and the Nomadic party.
The Desert Life party was moderate on all issues domestically, and had a strictly isolationist foreign policy. The Nomadic party was conservative, and advocated a revertion back to the old ways of the Golar and his church. The Spitting Camel party had was a moderate socialist domestically, and had a very strongly interventionist, some would say imperialist foreign policy.
"Today, the greatness of the Desert Republic sweeps over the world like a violent sandstorm, shining like an oasis in the middle of the desert. We shall bring the light of freedom and democracy to all of the desert, and enhance our power to do so." said the party leader and new Prime Minister, Ashan Pasoal. "I issue, as my first submittal of bill to the Convention the following declaration:
1. All desert nations deserve freedom and democracy.
2. Non-desert nations are inferior and should be dealt with at arm's length.
3. Larwana has the purpose to bring this, and thus should seek power.
4. Larwana will use all means needed to bring about one and three."
