Under the petition and approval of the Everqueen Elurín Aelosia

After a careful planning, and after realizing the weak position of the Empire's colonies in Mars after the last expansion of the Colony of Leithian, due to the acquisition of land to Kajal Mars, the Supreme Council of War of the Noble Houses has decided to increment the military presence of the Sacred Sindarin Empire in the planet Mars, mostly because we have dangerous or unpredictable neighbours that could endanger our holdings in the Red Planet. Due to the strategical nature and economic importance of both the colonies of Craulnober and Leithian, we should focus our best military resources to defend and maintain our Martian assets.

With that purpose in mind, we will mobilize several squadrons of the fleet to the Mars orbit, transporting several thousands men to the surface, both the elite of the Aelosian Army and the Outerritorial Forces of the Navy. more than one hundred thousand soldiers will be relocated in Mars, with the objetive of disuade any potential enemy of invading our borders, and with the secondary objetive of repelling any potential or possible invasion. Both the Third and Fourth Aelosian Fleets will be entirely used in this operation, with the support of several vessels, both civilian and military, from the rest of the fleets. The entire space Forces included in this initiative includes two VoidStalker Class Flagships, twenty Shadow and Eclipse Class Cruisers, and more than 100 escorts sized Frigates and Destroyers, along with a non defined numer of transports.

This Council also approves the initiative of construction great defensive lines along our borders in the colony of Leithian, where we are more exposed to offensive manouver by aggresive and untrustful neighbours. more than 600 pilots and their aircrafts will be relocated into a new military base in the center of the Leithian Colonial Territory, as with more than 20,000 armoured units.

We would like to take this time to interject that the Grand Cyberutopian Exoatmospheric Fleet is always open to assist in the Aelosian defense of their Martian holdings. Furthermore, in the best interest of speeding the deployment along, we can lend several fleets of cargo ships and escorts for such if the Aelosian government wills it.

"So. I suppose that the final number of troops being sent to Mars are 750,000?", asked a tall man clad in a bright blue armor, in his chest the insignia of the Royal Viceroys.

"Plus moving the Craftworld, our declaration to Mars nations said that we were moving and deploying more than 100,000 men, but we didn't said a maximum", answered the ShadowPrince, leaning over the holographic map of Mars, a wry grin in his mouth, as he pointed at the list of regiments mobilizing for the Martian operation.

"Are you really going to field a million troops?. Are you insane, Hyral?. That would compromize our capability to defend ourselves, even more as we will be moving the Craftworld to a known position. I can't fulfill my duties under those conditions. That's absurb, and I won't approve such a move. That's too brash and imprudent", thundered the powerful voice of a bulky elf in the other side of the table as his fist stroke the wraithbone. "No way!, that's madness. And how the hell are you going to move such an impressive display of troops?. We can't just teleport them to Mars as the eldar do!".

"Marshall Mablung. please stay quiet and let the Admiral finish his explanation. The rest of the Admirals agree with his plan, and now he has the permission of the Uibereth Aelosia to face the situation and apply his tactics", interrumpted a thin female elf fixing her glasses, with a deceiving appearance as a fragile woman, but her uniform of High Officer of the Navy spoke for herself. "We are elves, you should realize that all the people in this room have more than one ace hidden up in the sleeves. We also have full support from New York New Jersey and from Svarog due to the fantastic effort of out diplomatic team. Now it's the turn of us, military personnel, to do what we do best. We can easily retreat from a compromized position, due to our superior mobility, and of course that more hidden help is coming, although this isn't the place to talk about. I'll explain it to you later, when we have enough time for it, Elaith, ok?. Now let's talk about the military installations", said the woman, with a warm smile directed to the big Marshall.

"I also read a communiqué from Cyberutopia, offering their help, at least with their transports the operation of deploying the troops in the surface will be easier. That fixes the logistic problem, but indeed we will need to build an impressive amount of defensive positions and buildings to mke our plan work. We are surrounded by distrusted, to say the least, neighbours. We don't know nothing about Indiastan, Eniqcir at least maintains a friendly neutral position, and Auman and the Eldar are both potential and dangerous enemies. Our position is uncomfortable, and I'm being really optimistic. We're almost surrounded", said the viceroy of Mars, the ArchDuke Atheril D'nan, pointing at the Holo map depicting the current location of Leithian and Craulnober.

"I'll explain with detail the deployment that both Hyral and I designed for this operation...", he started, turning on a lightpointer.

'Hmm an interesting anoucement, tell me what do you think of this news?'
'Certainly interesting High Farseer, but I am unsure of what to make of it, in actuality I thought we where on good terms with the Aelosians..' The nameless female sitting across from Iyaana was not new to the council but she was... a unknown Iyaana herself had only discovered her existence upon becoming the High Farseer.
'Ah indeed that was the case, until recently this Everqueen Aelosia is a threat one I intend to deal with soon still we shall need an oppertunity to do what I intend until then I want to be sure... Hmm ah I think the Militia will need to start conducting some more excercises could you see to it?'

'Certainly, should I task the Asuryan fleets with the duty?'
'Indeed indeed, oh and I suppose the Ishar Fleet, it dosn't do to have our Admirals grow complacant, a change of scenary will keep the men fresh... recall the Harlequin fleet to take over from the Ishar Fleet.'

Samara Neja yawed, watching the bustle of the city from the massive marbled balcony outside her suite of rooms. It was always calming to see this, relaxing in an odd way to see so many people wheeling and dealing, backstabbing each other, in the metaphorical way, usually, and generally going about the business of a busy trading post. It made her content, a feeling of stillness in her heart, knowing that she didn’t need to concern herself like that.

“Yes?” she asked, hearing a servant approach, stepping through the open doorway.

“My lady, the Emperor commands you to make contact with him.”

She blinked twice. This was quite unusual. “Very well,” she said, striding through the doorway and into her rooms, turning left and through a half concealed door, making sure that the servant saw nothing of that, as he remained out on the balcony, which opened upon her approach. She stepped into the darkened room and into a circle of high necrontyr script on the floor, kneeling on one knee.

Soundlessly, the great holographic image of the emperor shimmered into view, dominating the room. It showed him from the shoulders upward. He generally had a tranquil and calming expression, and today was no exception. Samara bowed her head slightly, saying, “What is your will, My Lord?”

He smiled ever so slightly, “I am sending troops to Sentinel Two. The Aelosians are preparing to invade their neighbours.”

“Are you sure Sir?” she asked, curiously, “I had not heard that exactly, merely some additional deployment.”

“I have foreseen it. It will happen.”

“How many troops will you be sending?”

“Three thousand,” he said, “Tomorrow. Elements of the fleet are also preparing to return to Mars in the near future.”

“I take it this is secret?”

“It is,” he replied, “Look to the abyss.”

The image shimmered once again, and disappeared, fading into translucency and then into oblivion.

In the darkness, came light.

The light was a green colour. The green however, was neither pleasant nor natural, instead, were any creature there to see it, the green would have unsettled them a little, rippling as it did like water. A figure stepped from the green, skeletal and metallic, its gaze turned left and right, assessing the cave it was in.

The great chasm, filled with radioactive waste was sunk into the ground many kilometres. The Necron Lord stepped to the side, striking his staff against the rocky ground and turned to regard the portal as his under-lords followed him out, a score of them at once, their tread equally silent.

Rank after rank of machines came, first Lords, then Immortals, Flayed Ones, Warriors, Destroyers and their heavier cousins, hovering above the ground, Tomb Spyders to make scarabs for their plans, and finally, a veritable company of huge war engines, Monoliths and Pylons… And one last thing.

With a colossal roar, the huge shape of the Black Pyramid emerged. Far away, in the Tor Yvresse Mars colonies, every one of their witches and seers would feel it, a deeply unsettling feeling, like ice scraped against the bones for a moment.

It was colossal, one of a mere dozen in existence, capable of fighting an entire legion of the Eldar titans alone and triumphing. The portals capable of transiting these monsters were most rare, and the radioactive borehole, a kilometre across by twenty deep, had been intended to accommodate one in secret. Now that secrecy would be rendered pointless by any examination, no matter how cursory, of the borehole out in the wastes of Sentinel Two, the Abyss. But they were ready.
