OOC #1: Alright, I'm looking for any sort of international roleplay of some sort. I'm going to get started with this as a press release. If any other country comes up with an idea for a RP - we'll run with that.

Havana, Protectorate of Cuba -
Today, The Gulf States met with Cuban authorities. A record 21st peace accord was signed between TGS and another western hemisphere nation. Cuban becomes another protectorate state of The Gulf States. The Ortiz Doctrine, that The Gulf States is the protector and aider of the Western Hemisphere - still stands strong.
What is an protectorate state of The Gulf States? - The nation remains it's own independent state. Sort of. They are fully autonomous, and free to maintain their own military. However, they send two represenatives to our Congress. Also, The Gulf States would happen to back the protectorate state if they ever came across conflicts. So we don't have to have the military manpower needed if we were an invading/occupying force. If two protectorate states had conflicts with each other, the mainland government would act as an intermediary.
What are the protectorate states of The Gulf States? -
There are 19 of them total.

Here's a map of the current western hemisphere. Protectorates of TGS are in dark blue. California and Alaska is in light blue. Menelmacar is in dark green. Light green is New York and Jersey (in North America) and Belem (in South America). Fantasan is orange-ish. Flocarga and Delmarva is in red.
We have been in negotiations on and off with the Mexican, Jamaican, and Bahaman governments to discuss any future relations with those states.

OOC 2: Alright, there's the RP so far. We've just become super-allies with Cuba and gain further influence in the western hemisphere. You're not just limited to Cuba though. You can invade another one of my protectorates in South America, help fight a war on drugs, aid after a natural disaster, whatever. However - the first GOOD idea that's posted is where this RP goes.
