0200 April 2nd, 2014 - Trent Air Force Base

Forty eight Destroyer medium bombers pulled into the air from their runways, their mission was simple. To neutralize the Haaregradian radar stations along the Dill Row/Todeskopf border and to destroy the two airbases that would pose the most direct threat to Todeskopfian troops as they marched towards Kiosk, Dill Row SSR.

0230 April 2nd, 2014 - Dill Row/Todeskopf border

Todeskopfian troops began crossing the border with support from Luftpanzer close support planes, Tiger helicopters and Destroyer bombers. Two Panzer divisions and four Sturmtruppen divisions in total crossed the border.

0830 April 2nd, 2014 - Dill Row

The suprise attack caught the Haaregradians off guard, smashing most of the nearby airbases and radar sites. The Haaregradian commanders in the region were called back to defend Kiev and Kiosk. With Todeskopfian troops already within striking range of Kiosk with artillery it was imperitive that the troops hold the Death's Head troops at bay. This was proving to be a losing battle, with Todeskopf forces slowly but surely driving forward.

Already a heavier defence of Kiev was being planned, with troops and civilians building tank traps, foxholes and other defensive positions to help hold back the large Todeskopfian armored divisions.

Three hours later President Lenin gave a speech live on TV to the nation.

The remaining Haaregradian troops from the 302nd and 144th Infantry Regiments had been either thrown into retreat or surrendered, there just simply weren't enough troops to defend Kiosk.

1230 April 4th, 2014 - Kiosk, Dill Row

The city of Kiosk has surrendered, due to lack of manpower to defend it.

The surviving troops have retreated south and west, enroute to Kiev.

Partisans continue a guerilla campaign, destroying the main railway link west.

Eh, most of my stuff is of my own creations now, both my tanks, most of my fighters, both my new bombers(not in service, they'll be introduced later in this RP) so I'm kinda screwed for pictures.

OOC: It's good to have originality with weapon systems. For example, despite Sinoese being largely PLA, I have created or modified/improved some of the systems, especially aircraft and BMs. Since I'm so meticulous, I've also introduced Ghillie suits for Gen. Liu and other snipers.

April 7th, 2014 - Kiosk, Dill Row

With the city of Kiosk formally under Todeskopfian control(if not actually) Field Marshal Rommel was free to plan his next attack. He decided taking the capital, Kiev would be most important, most likely forcing the entire state to surrender. It was however possible the government would retreat to Haaregrad City. Either way Kiev was a very important target.

There was one substantial problem, Haaregradian partisans were blowing up anything that wasn't being watched. Todeskopfian troops tried to deal with the Haaregradians without being iron-fisted, but it was hard, many of them were very opposed to occupation.

Just yesterday a youth wearing a Communist Party patch on his tshirt(hiden by a hoodie) attacked Rommel's own motorcade with two Uzis. At first they thought he was a drunk kid until he produced two submachine guns from his shirt and started yelling about being god. He charged the motorcade and opened fire, taking almost 50 shots to subdue. A postmortem indicated he had taken a large dose of PCP.

Rommel's notebook contained a large tract on the problems of subduing the city:

The Haaregradians are not willing to accept Imperial law and order, but would rather continue their debotched, near subhuman existance. Drugs, prostitution, democracy, free markets, all things that were deemed a threat to society at home are not only accepted but encouraged here. I heard legends that you can buy sex legally here, but never dreamed I would see it happen.

Already problems are developing amongst our troops. I've heard reports of soldiers claiming this life is superior, and that what they've been taught was wrong and leads to chaos somehow works here. Myself I see no reason to believe it, surely this must be a irregularity and lead to the legends.

Everything about this land seems foreign, despite them sharing a border with us. Until we started enforcing laws against it men held hands in public with other men. Music, if you can call it that streams forth from many private and public buildings. But unlike music back home it is played by amature musicians, the singers, instead of singing about national pride, or the epic tales of our past, scream unintellegable gibberish.

I am amazed that this place hasn't fallen into anarchy yet. However maybe they were on a decline, after all they have yet to show any real opposition to our forces except in guerilla combat. Or maybe they're planning something. I highly doubt that they could be simply collapsing, and if my fears are correct I am truely frightened to see what they do to us.

OOC (to Todeskopf): Are you against free market?

OOC 2: That was a very good description of how we all view Haaregrad.

April 8th, 2014 - Kiev, Dill Row

Everyday longer Todeskopf had to fight for control of Kiosk was another day Kiev had to prepare for her own defense. Already huge tank barriers were being contructed from chunks of abandoned buildings, soliders and supplies began filling the city, large batteries of anti-aircraft missiles and other defense measures could be seen everywhere.

Intellegence reports showed Todeskopf considered Kiev a vital target because failing to capture it would leave the Dill Row SSR's government in place. Additionally it would leave their flank open as the Wermacht marched further on. If Kiev remained free Kovel couldn't be taken.

Regular forces as well as Red Army volunteers prepared to take up arms, and waited for the inevitable turn south by the Wermacht.

April 8th, 2014 - Trent, Todeskopf

Chancellor Adolf paced back and forth in his compound. The Haaregradians had reacted most oddly. He expected the army to of fought longer and their citizens to gladly accept the Todeskopfian troops as saviours. After all, wasn't this some sort of oppressive, socialist hippy compound?

He dialed the phone for Rommel, who was leading the forces in Dill Row.

Rommel, we're behind schedual, how ready are the forces for Kiev?

We still putting down partisans, we'll be ready soon. he said, somewhat nervously.

Kiev is bostering her defenses, do you have the Backup Plan?

Type 55VX shells? Rommel replied, less timidly then before.

Yes, that is the plan.

Rommel replied, I do indeed, sir.[i]

[i]Be prepared to turn south in three days, if Kiev hasn't fallen within three days back off, lay siege and shell and bomb them into submission. We'll send another division to clean up Kiosk, you got that? Adolf shouted.

Yes sir. Rommel responded as the phone clicked on the other end.

"I hope he learns some tactics", the Chancellor thought as he stormed out of the room.

OOC: Thank you, I liked the description myself.

Yes, we are opposed to free markets, Todeskopf uses an economy styled much like that of Facsist Italy. We have no problems with our allies using market economies, we generally never mention our allies economies to our own people.

We'd recomend Skull to be in our capital or Brandenberg, because the chances of retaliation against that city are almost nill.

April 10th, 2014 - Kiosk, Dill Row

With the city of Kiosk putting up much stiffer resistance then initially expected and orders to turn south onto Kiev tommorow Field Marshal Rommel was starting to panic. Kiosk hadn't been secured enough to be a forward base, but supply lines would have to cut through the city in order to feed his army's attack on Kiev. Rommel's new orders were to secure the city by all means required. The city of Kiosk would soon learn a new meaning for the word brutality, if it had to.

Without a frontal position of command, Lt. Gen. Chin fights the war from a mahogamy desk. This morning, he has ordered the Sinoese MBTs and IFv support to support the Todeskopfian advance.
