Queen Mariah in first public TV interview

Jeruselem Government News Interviewer = JGN
Queen Mariah I of Jeruselem = Q

JGN: Thank you for agreement to this interview, I'm sure the Jeruselem public will be watching.
Q: I'm not one for too many public appearances, but it's part of my job.
JGN: Shall we start.
Q: Sure
You're the first Queen since Catherine Conaro to hold the title of King/Queen of Jerusalem and Cyprus since the selling of Cyprus to Genoa. Does this make your position more difficult?
Q: Not really. The title is meaningless these days, but there were critics who wanted a male successor my father. I'm glad the Catholic Church voted otherwise.
JGN: Does your Jewish bloodline affect your Catholic faith?
Q:Having a half-Jewish mother makes me, well, quarter Jewish. It has helped with Jewish-Christian relations as the Jews feel that a quasi-Jewish monarch is on the throne. I could be descended from King David, who knows?
JGN: Have you ever been to a religous function of your Jewish relatives?
Q: One or two. No time really in my busy itenary.
JGN: There are rumours of marital problems with your husband, the Regent.
Q: Not really. The usual domestic issues but most are spread by Protestants who don't like female rulers.
JGN: What is your position of Gay marriages.
Q: Same as the Pope and Catholic Church. Nothing will change my position.
JGN: Recent, some photos on the net have circulated with you on the beach. Why didn't go ban them?
Q: No use. The net is impossible to control. Some sure Christians are downloading them right now. <giggles>.
JGN: What is your relationship with the ruler of Roania, your relative the Princess.
Q: She's a little strange, like the rest of her line, but much like me in some ways. She share much in common, but I don't have the Black neurosis.
JGN: Recovery from the birth of Arthur Jacob Stuart complete?
Q: Not really. Have to lose some weight, but I wouldn't call it fun. It was worth it, but not too often.
JGN: Arthur have his teeth yet?
Q: No, and not looking forward it either. He likes bite things too much
JGN: Some people say you dress to liberally, what is your response?
Q: People always say these things. Swimming at the beach in the Victorian bathing suit? Not me.<waves at the camera> Enjoying those pics out there?
JGN: Use any lucky charms?
Q: A gold coin from the Pope John Pope II. Always with me.
JGN: I hear you've won a beauty contest.
Q: Miss Jerusalem University for 3 years in row. Still have those prizes. Maybe I'll auction them on eBAY one day.
JGN: Thank you for your time, your highness.
Q: God bless you and your viewers.
