Emperor Zhu Shun, the Emperor of Jo'hito, the third most powerful state in the Allied States Union sat upon the Dragon Throne, a massive jade and gold throne in the shape of a lotus surrounded by dragons, while he appeared to be asleep upon the very symbol of his power, the Emperor was dead, he and his entire Imperial Court and also his etnire extended family of over 75 people right down to their servants and pets were dead. All of the 8,000 men, women, and children of the Solar-Dragon Palace had been killed by a very powerful nerve gas that had been released into the air conditioning system.

Similar things were occuring across the nation, the Grand Palace of the Eternal Star in Irgui state was blown up, over three thousand years of history destroyed by an explosion that was visible over 300 miles away.

In the city of Arju which was the capital of the state with the same name the entire Royal Family of Arju was killed by a strange new strain of Antrax that kills within seconds (according to the offical report) and the entire palace of Yuan Ming Yuan, a palace complex that streched for over 20 miles was burned to the ground to keep the virus from spreading.

All across the nation the state governments were being destroyed at the exact same moment.

All according to plan.

The President-Senator Aron Toko, the ruler of the Allied States of Saiogena turned on the news, the reports of the complete downfall of teh State Governments was flooding in. The phone rang.

"Yes, this is the President. Yes I have just seen the news, I am completly shocked, don't panic, as of now I have declared a State of Emergency, all of the state militaries are under my command, total marshall law and the borders are to remain closed until I say otherwise, nothing in and nothing out unless I myself ok it. Understood? Goodbye."

"All 25 State Governments of the Allied States of Saiogena have been destroyed by an unknown group or groups for reason to be determined. The President-Senator Aron Toko has declared a State of Emergency. The borders are closed until further notice, anyone or anything trying to enter or exit the nation at this time will be shot on site. The President-Senator will hold a special session of the Senate to announce what he knows and what will happen in the near future."

Across the nation, the fear and tension lay so thick you could cut it with a knife. The people had been glued to their television sets, watching the chaos unfold, the first images of the bodies of the dead, the death count was over 20,000 men, women, and children who had any significant connection to the old state monarchs. Now the President-Senator was about to speak.

Aron Toko sat upon the Throne of Saravesti, he wore a simple black suit that made him look both dignified and regal. He wore a small pendant with the flag of Saiogena on it.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I, President-Senator Aron Toko of the Allied States of Saiogena wish to inform you of what has occured. A unknown forigen power has for reasons unknown attacked and destroyed the State governments of the Allied States Union. If not for the safeguards in the Pact of Alliance the entire Allied Union might of collapsed."

"I wish to speak to you of the future, the State of Emergency will last for four days, nothing in and nothing out of the nation without my personal say-so."

"I am however invoking the Emergency Powers act and I am declaring that from now and to eternity that the office of President-Senator will also hold the powers of Commander-In-Chief of the Saiogenite Armed Forces. In this time of crisis I will personally create temporary state governments to manage the states until democratic elections can be held to create new governments for each state."

"Then the new governments and whomever holds the office of President-Senator will rework the Pact of Alliance to ensure an event like this never occures."

"Investigations are already underway to find who comitted these evil acts and bring them to justice."

Offical Report:

While the Senate and the President-Senator Aron Toko (May He have Ten Thousand Years of Long Life) work around the clock to bring the nation back to normal and to bring to justice those who did this unoffical reports have emerged that members of the following cults may be involved.

Southern Baptist Convention
Roman Catholic Church
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS, Mormons, etc)

While no offical reports have emerged that say any of these illegal and dangerous cults may be invovled it is wisest to keep your eye open for any odd activity.

In other news.

Across the nation, the nations flag popped up like weeds in all the front years, signs that said "Remember 6/9!" were put up around and next to the flags, makeshift memorials with candles and incense were put up at the disaster sites and in all public places. Pictures of the dead and missing were also put up in all public places, also posters were put up having patriotic slogans like "Ten Thousand Years of Long Life to Saiogena and President-Senator Aron Toko!" and "Christians=6/9" were also flourishing.

Several Christian Churches (of the legal Christian Churches) were attacked by angry mobs and burned to the ground, the military did nothing to stop them.

A pregnant woman who was wearing a small cross (and a well known Christian) was beaten to death in her home by an unknown killer.

People flocked to the Buddhist, Prana-Hindu, Taoist, Jaojistic, and Islamic Temples and Mosques seeking answers to why this would happen to a peaceful people like themselves.

The government meanwhile without a single power to oppose them completly rewrote the Pact of Alliance (they even renamed it the "Pact of Eternal Union) and declared the following.

-That the states held secondary power to the new Federal Government.

-The Senators for each state was to be appointed by the Federal Senate

-That once the Senate chose a President he would hold office for life

-The office of President was given "Presidium Declaritori" meaning that his word was above any and all law

-The previously Courts of Law (in the control of the previous state governments) were now under the direction of the President and the Senate. A High Court was also created under this change, but even the High Court was under the control of the Senate and the President.

-No longer was the nation the Allied States, but the Holy Republic of Saiogena

The rumors of this and many other things leaked out of Saiogena through the news networks and secret reports made by forigen journalists who were all under house arrest by an Executive Order.

Saiogena was headed towards a revolution... of an ugly kind.

"Greetings, as the President of the new Armed Republic of Saiogena I wish to make the following announcements."

"One, the borders of Saiogena will be reopened at midnight of tonight, travel will resume as normal but with increased security at all airports, harbors, and all along our borders and the 50 miles offshore that is under our nations control."

"Two, all security agencies and our national defense is to be united under a single command and is considered a part of a new organization, the National Board of Homeland Defense and War or NBHDW under the command of Ryan Mckay who was the Senator from Yjii until he resigned four hours ago to head this new national organization."

"Three, we know who planned and ordered the actions undertaken on Jun the 9. His name is Father Gregory M. White, a priest of the illegal Southern Baptist cult and his co-conspirators were members of the Christian religion."

"Four, along with the Catholic cults, the Southern Baptist cult, and the Mormon Cult, all forms of Christianity have been banned under the new Security Act that has been placed within the new Pact of Union to ensure the removal of this dangerous death cult that has plagued our nation since the late 19th century. Within the order it is required of all Christians within the nation to abandon this death cult within three days or be sent into eternal exile. At the age of 85, President Aron Toko of the Armed Republic of Saiogena died of a heart attack in his bedroom at the Presidental Palace in the city of Cyan earlier this morning. The exact time of death to be determined. As the line of power succession has fallen apart in this time of crisis, Princess Tzu Yun, the only survivor of the Arju Royal Family who was in New York City on 6/9 will return to the nation and head the government and make the changes needed to the Pact of Union to make it complete. She has already issued an Executive order stative that the time of Marshall Law is over as of midnight tonight and as the nation returns to normal she will head a Commission to investigate what went on prior to and during 6/9 and who did it. She has also issued a three-year retraction of the Ban on Christianity including the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Roman Catholic Church (but not the Southern Baptists).
