Tappee is formally inviting any nation that would like to attend the First Annual CAGED membership meeting. Conference will be held in the resort city of Brathalum, and is intended to open dialog between member nations about the direction that the organization will be taking. In order to gain a broad perspective on the issues would like non-member nation to attend, as well as any nation looking for membership to attend. Any country that does wish to attend will have all their expense paid for by the Government of Tappee.

“Is everything ready for the conference” asked Jade impatiently, she wanted everything to run smoothly. Her father had always told her that first impression last forever, so naturally she found her self-worrying about the coming days. Brathalum had been the host of several of high priority conference in the past, and had grown accustom to acting as a host for foreign visitors. However, for Jade the painful memories of the last conference where still rather fresh, she had to keep telling her self that this time there could be no such incidents.
A tap on her shoulder startled her, she turned to find Harold Armstrong standing behind her “Harold just the person I wanted to see” she said with a bit of smile on her face. “When can we expect every one to arrive?”
Harold thought for a moment, placing his hands in his pockets he filled with what ever objects may have been in them “Well the invitations have been sent out to all member nations, in addition we’ve invited anyone who want to take part to send a representative to attend, so we have no idea of how many will be coming.” The two turned and looked at the giant auditorium. Located at the front of the room was a long desk; at the desk was a location for each of the organizations current members. Behind the Main desk was the CAGED logo, as for the rest of the room it was designed for non-member nation and the meeting. Harold made motion towards the rest of room “But as you can see we have the room to hold any unexpected guests”
Jade could help but be impressed at how quickly all this had come together. For the first time she could see the Harold was actually excited “Feeling a nostalgic?”
Her question had caught him a little off guard, when he had first joined the diplomatic corp his frist assignment had been as the Tappee representative to CAGED, when the organization had collapsed he was the Chief ambassador to the organization. “It will be good to see old friends, as well to see how many news that I can make”
The two quietly made their way out of the room, all they could do now was wait

From across the way Casey Krautchenson(SET's leader and CAGED representative) caught Jade and Roger's eyes. He waved them over and introduced them to Dr. Karvacos. They began talking as Casey scurried along to the back. He came back with papers and set them on the table where he would be sitting, right next to Tappee's representative...he sat patiently and waited for the meeting to begin.

David Greene walked into the bathroom, obviously nervous. Since Tasty Foods doesn't participate in many summits (in fact, this is their first), he has no experience. This will be his first diplomatic meeting.
Okay, David, pull yourself together. he said to himself as he organized his papers.
Well, here goes nothing.
He walks out of the bathroom and up to the table, pulls out a chair next to the SET reprensentative, and sits. He anxiously waits for the meeting to begin.

A sleek black sedan pulled up in front of the conference building and a slim Asian man stepped out. A forboding clunk sounded behind him, and his automated bodyguard, the same Aelosian-made mechadragon that had guarded his predeccesor, landed on the asphalt and moved to stand beside it's charge with a soft whirr. The man nodded curtly to Acrid, as the "dragon" was called, and the two proceeded.
"People's Representative Duo Migashi of Cyberutopia at your service." The aging man stated with confidence as he swept into the room.

Duo jumped at the sudden outburst, blinked once to clear the suprise, and humbly settled into one of the numerous comfortable chairs that had been arranged around the conference table.
The Kingdom of Matrex would like to send a delegation to the meeting. W we would also like to apply. We also would like to know if all fo the offices are full. We would like to hold an office. We will be sending Phillip Smith as the delegate from the kingdom.
Harold stood up and leaned toward the microphone, he glanced down to make sure that the speech that he had prepared was in fact there. To his relief it was right where he had left it.
Taking a moment to clear his throat he began “I would like to welcome all the representatives that have come out to today meeting, both your presence and your input are greatly appreciated” As the crowd applauds he reached down and took a sip of water. “The reason that you are all here today is so that we can come to an agreement as the to role that this organization will play on the international scene, in particular it foreign policy.” He glanced over at Jade, she gave him a reassuring nod. “In order to address all issues that current are among debate will discuses them one at a time, and open the floor up to debate among all those that have attended. Once we’ve agreed on an issue it will be written into the organizations charter. However, to agree on an issue it must have the support of at least two thirds of CAGED’s registered members. Now with that being said I will open the floor up to the first issue that we will discuss”
Harold paused for a moment to shuffle through some papers “The first issue that will be brought to the floor is the organizations foreign policy is dealing with military conflict involving member nations. Currently the policy of the Government of Tappee is to provide military protection for any of it’s allies, as long as that our ally is not the one that started the conflict to begin with. So if our ally is being attack unjustly we are more then willing to provide military support. Now is this the type of policy to we are going institute for all CAGED member?” Harold sat back and wait for the others to offer their opinion on this mater.

We believe that it is the duty of every member nation to protect their fellow C.A.G.E.D. members, but we can't force them to help if they don't want to.

"A large number of nations already follow this doctrine." The PR stated. "Very few, if any, nations should have trouble accepting a sensible policy. I support the idea fully."

IC: i beleive it would be accurate to say that everyone has the similar policy...also, i beleive that is on our constitution, which changes can surely be made
I think it is the duty of CAGED members to defend each other. I think that it should go to a vote within the alliance.

An entorage of two black-scaled Dark Argonians flanked a third. They say nothing as they enter the conference chamber, the leader seating himself in one of the open chairs while his bodyguards remain on either side of him. The leader is dressed smartly, clad in a black suit with a white undershirt & accented with a bright red necktie. His escorts are dressed more simply, clothed in black BDU pants & tight-fitting black T-shirts. Empty holsters & sheaths reside on their belts, their weapons handed over to Tappee security as they entered the building.
The leader reguards the gathered diplomats & representatives with blue eyes hidden behind a pair of mirrored RayBander sunglasses custom-built to fit his reptillian head. He drums his claws slowly across the glossy tabletop while he awaits the meeting to begin. His escorts stand smartly at a relaxed version of attention, scanning the area for potential threats. The leader behaves in much the same way, oddly enough...
"Well then, now thawe have finished with this, lets move on then" Harold said loud enough for every one to hear. "The next issue that is open for discussion is should CAGED provide military asstance for those that are not member Nations"

Migashi's eyes were pulled to the Dark Argonians with detached interest before his attention was brought back to Harold as he spoke.
Folding his hands more comfortably before him, he spoke in a collected voice. "I don't believe that we can make a firm decision on that. There are a number of variables; the alliance's military status, the political and economic status of the member nations, the odds of a favorable outcome, the governmental arrangement of the non-member nation in question. The list goes on. Perhaps it would just be easier to discuss it when...if...it's ever necessary."

"Indeed."
Although his people where not members of this 'alliance', it did not mean the services of their assassins would not be needed...
